⭑ Much like Dan Heng, WELT did not expect you to fully trust anyone on the express quickly, which was why he tried to make himself seem as welcoming as possible even though he very much is welcoming on his own.

⭑ He was patient with you and respected your boundaries, and when you’d give him your wacky replies he’d just nod his head and leave you alone. He never pushed you to do stuff with any of the members and was overall pretty chill.

⭑ His comforting and welcoming vibes alone helped you trust him easier than the other members of the express, and soon enough Welt found himself walking around with you trailing behind him like a duckling. If he was sitting in the parlor cart, you were next to him practicing or showing him your card tricks. If he was in his room, you were probably there just in the corner doing your thing.

⭑ Tea time anytime anywhere. WELT will always have the time to enjoy tea and snacks with you whenever you’d like! If you make your treats yourself, he’ll help you make them, too. It’s nice bonding time. He’ll also learn a thing or two about tea making from you as it seems that you take the art very very seriously.

⭑ He’s not a swordsman by any means but he’s seen many different fighting styles in his time so he’ll give you some tips on how to improve. He’d still prefer for someone else to properly mentor you and by someone else I mean Dan Heng as he’s the closest one to a swordsman on the express.

⭑ Like some others in the first part, he’ll keep something sweet with him in his pocket so if you’re ever craving something sweet or feeling hungry in general he’ll be able to hand you the sweet treat easily. Feels bad whenever he doesn’t have anything on hand, especially when there aren’t any stores nearby.

⭑ He can do the talking for you if you want him to. He’ll calmly tell others that you aren’t comfortable with conversations and that he’ll be doing the talking for you during interactions. If they don’t cooperate then he’ll just,, leave with you. He needn’t waste both of your times with someone who cannot respect boundaries.

⭑ Not surprised by your feline features as he’s seen many things in his time, but if you lean more into the feline mannerisms he’ll give you extra head-pats and ear scratches and may buy you cat toya if you want them. Makes sure you take care of your nails too!! Doesn’t want you hurting yourself.

⭑ He doesn’t mind participating in your performances. He,,,, he has experience on stage,,,, ahaha,,,, WELT can entertain a crowd! Doesn’t like the tricks that involve the both of you getting a bit messy thought like the water container, but he’ll indulge you in any other tricks! He also doesn’t mind watching your performances! He’ll smile and clap after every trick, praising your skill and what you do. He’s very supportive and would be honored if you teach him how you do what you do.

⭑ If you ever open up to him about your past, he’ll be there for you as he pats your head and rubs your back soothingly, telling you to take your time and that he’s so proud of you for getting through that and having the courage to tell him all of this.

⭑ Like Veritas, I don’t think WELT do anything to the man should he still be alive. He’ll help you forget him if you’re bothered by the memories and help you heal should you be repressing emotions. He’ll teach you how to accept and will make sure by the end of your journey you’ll be the best self you can be. He’s already so proud of you.

⭑ You both are like old people with technology and both learn as you go. A member of the express teaches WELT something, he’s quick to message or tell you about it and vice versa.

⭑ You were a performer at the bar, many of the patron and visitors flocking to the bar just to watch your amazing performances. GALLAGHER couldn’t deny that you were a talented kid, and he also quite enjoyed your performances.

⭑ You were young, so it’s not surprise some people did try to get you to work for them instead in hopes of exploiting you. GALLAGHER would always step in if they were being too insistent and sometimes even kick them up, however most of the time they left you alone due to your eccentric replies. They always made him snicker in amusement secretly.

⭑ GALLAGHER will make you drinks as you work and fix up small snacks if there’s anything available. Because of you he’s become a bit of a tea-making expert. Every time you take a break or finish a performance he’ll have a nice cup of tea set up for you in the staff room at the back. He awaits your feedback.

⭑ When you invite him to joins you in your tea breaks? He’s either tossing the bar to Siobhan or another employee, and if there’s non then uhm,,, yeah he can’t join you but he’ll make it up to you! And if you help him with drink making he’ll cry a bit internally. You’re such a good kid,,,

⭑ Not only are you both a good duo in the bar, but you both are a good duo in officer work. He’s is a bit intimidated with your swordsmanship, but he also admires your quick and clean cuts. You become his unofficial official assistant sometimes when it comes to snatching up criminals and it’s actually kind of fun.

⭑ You suck at technology, he’s decent at it, he doesn’t mind. If you want to improve he’ll help you out but if you don’t he’ll supervise you whenever you’re using anything relating to technology so that you don’t burn the bar down or something. Is it possible to get hurt in the dreamscape? I can’t remember. But still, he doesn’t want you to get hurt.

⭑ Calls you 'kitty' jokingly but if you get upset he’ll drop it. Also, only he’s allowed to call you that. Nobody else. He feels that if others do it then it’s mocking you — even if they mean well he just doesn’t like it so only he can do it.

⭑ He’ll help you practice but I don’t think he’d perform insane acts with you. Maybe the more simplistic ones or ones that don’t require him doing really complex things. He just doesn’t want to mess up and ruin your acts. If you want him to do a dramatic announcement for you before you go on stage, he’ll do so happily.

⭑ The moment you open up to GALLAGHER trust that he’ll make sure you’re much more guarded and kept safe. He’ll also be much more observant of the patrons and visitors and nobody will be offering you work offers. He’ll ask you during your break times if anyone tried to do anything to you, and if so, to give him as many details as you possibly can. No need to ask why — he’ll deal with them.

⭑ Should the man that you were sold to dare be alive and enter the bar, GALLAGHER will have him out of there before you even catch a glimpse of him. He’ll also make sure that man is out of the dreamscape. Man, Sleepie has been needing a new toy as of recent!

⭑ Does the talking for you but at the same time not many people will be talking to you anyways after your performances because you’re having your tea break and so he’ll tell anyone that wants to interact with you that you’re unavailable for the rest of the time.

⭑ A new feline-featured performer holding a show in a planet nearby? Oh how delightful! ARGENTI’s getting a ticket to your show the second they’re available! He’s always loved performances and shows as they show how skilled others are and are always so beautiful.

⭑ He absolutely loved your performance and even wanted to thank you personally for the lovely time! And so after the lights were back on and all guests left, he made his way outside in search of you with an appreciative rose in hand which he expected he’d be able to give to you.

⭑However, what ARGENTI didn’t expect was for you to give him the wackiest response ever. He blinked, handed you the rose, and then continued to converse with you. He’s like Sunday but oblivious — there is no winning with him he can talk for hours.

⭑ It’s a huge yapper / listener situation. You travel a lot for performances and he travels a lot in search of Idrila, so you can’t escape him because he has the excuse to follow you around. Well, he does protect you even if it’s not needed due to your swordsmanship, but it’s convenient so you guess it’s fine.

⭑ ARGENTI also does all the talking for you which is a nice and huge bonus. Sometimes he does it without even realizing and nobody is able to make him shut up. It’s a big win win for the both of you and he never brings it up out of concern because you don’t seem bothered by it.

⭑ Finds your feline features beautiful and would love to help you groom your ears and tail if you’d let him !! He’s be very gentle as he brushes out the loose furs and if you like head pats / ear scratches he’ll sneak them in while he grooms your ears. He’s somehow so good at it for being a first timer (or so he claims.)

⭑ Very present in your performances and will always be there to support you and cheer you on, handing you a rose as a congratulations for the successful show. If you perform for him alone during your free-time, he’ll clap with a big smile and tell you how wonderful that was and how you’re improving so much.

⭑ ARGENTI is probably the best performance partner out of everyone because he puts in so much emotion with the tricks and acts he pulls. Also, he doesn’t mind being in front of a large crowd and he manages to captivate their attentions so that’s a bonus. You’re deadpan and he’s very emotional. A good duo.

⭑ If you open up to him, ARGENTI will be appalled. Not at you — never ever you — but at that disgusting man who dared to even think about using you. He’ll promise you that he’ll make sure nothing like that ever happens again and then he’ll ask if there’s anything he can do to make you feel better. Would you like a specially prepared fish dish? Some sweets? Tea?

⭑ Speaking of tea, he loves tea time with you! It’s a nice time for the two of you to bond and relax from life, enjoying the flavors of the teas that would vary each time you prepared some. If you teach him how you make your teas he’ll be over the moon.

⭑ I don’t think ARGENTI is bad with tech, he’s probably pretty good, so he’ll help you figure out how to not bust everything that contains some sort of tech or machinery. If you break things he won’t be upset or anything — he’s a pretty patient person. He’ll care more about you and if you’re injured.

⭑ Spars with you and constantly praises your agility and clean cuts. You both share tips and tricks for tending to your weapons and fighting in general, too. ARGENTI won’t be too rough on you but he will put up a challenge — he genuinely wants you to improve!

Karma's Fashion Choices

I've had quite a fair share of think pieces on this guy that I've posted on my private twitter, but I decided to post them here too considering that I thought long and hard on a few of them 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️we're starting off with something simple today though

Here's a thread of karma's best fit that encapsulates what irina meant when she said that he has good fashion taste:

starting off with the koro q fit!! he's very much styles like a villain and he doesn't mind being seen and treated as one when they were first acquainted with him,, this also shows during the big bad castle chapter where they all had new gear

karma is seen wearing suits often as well, most of the time he would wear dark colours and rarely ever use a light coloured suit (not including the white day art since it's the theme),, despite not using the school uniform properly, he seems quite fond of them

even if he wears edgy clothes sometimes, he also wears quite trendy ones,, e.g. the vests and turtle neck, this also shows his lack of colours in his outfit too TT

one of my other fave thing to point out is that he was the only one to wear a tang suit(?) during the hot pot chapter in koro q

talking about edgy fits, he loves his fair share of them too, ESPECIALLY the witch outfits,, he has quite a few art w different type of witch outfit💀💀

he wears long sleeves shirts a lot too, I rarely ever if not NEVER seen him with short sleeve only except for his first year in kunugigaoka,, he would wear these as an undershirt or a casual wear (I'd like to think that they're pretty thin so it keeps him cool)

his style doesn't really change as an adult either, he still wears long sleeve and likes his fair share of jackets,, I do think he tries not to stand out as much tho, mostly bcs of his work TT but seeing as he got taller and possibly tougher, I think he suits this style :>

i've been think about this and here are my ideas :3 btw, these are for a modern!AU (in which i'd HC that all the events happen in England, since the likelihood of you encountering such a strange group is much higher in a city like London), since if i was sticking more closely to canon it'd be pretty boring since they'd all be Scottish 💀

Meliodas (+ Zeldris): BRASIL NÚMERO UM CARALHO ‼️‼️ sorry but there's just something about them,,, they'd def be Brazilian (and mixed, in terms of skin tone)

Diane: Scottish (and Black) - this one i don't really have proper reasoning for aside from the vibes that the giants' land has just fits best with where it is canon - rocky landscape with few trees, pretty cold, etc. and also i don't know where it started but the collective HC of Diane being Black has made it so that i genuinely forget she's real pale in the canon

King (+ Elaine): English - the royal vibes make me think posh English lads - they are absolutely the British stereotype and feed into it unknowingly (they'd be rather pale, with a tendency to get freckles)

Ban: Russian (or any other flavour Slavic) (i feel too guilty and self indulgent HCing him as Polish,,,, but i want to😭) - i also HC him as albino in the modern!AU, if we're being more realistic, which i should def do some fanart of sometime

Gowther: South Korean - methinks it just fits with their fashion sense and mannerisms - they absolutely indulge in all kinds of Korean and Japanese dramas/shows/movies (they'd be on the tanner side)

Merlin: Welsh - mage,,, wizard lady,,,, speaking niche languages,,, yeah, Welsh,, tho i do think she has somehow managed to learn like 7 different languages and visit close to every country on earth - something something endless pursuit of knowledge (i think she'd be pretty pale, as when she isn't out on the other side of the world, she's indoors, barely getting any sun)

Escanor: Spanish - also would have dark skin, since i HC one of his parents as being Moroccan. source? reason?? my beautiful brain

Elizabeth: French - same reason as King and Elaine, the typical royal vibes just drew me to these decisions (tho, alternatively, i do think she would also fit being from England) (either way, she'd also be pretty pale)

She's somebody who would cofmort you in an objective but warm way while also try to joke around so you won't feel like you're being nagged at (good grief, i cried more while she did that lol) ALSO A SIMP FOR DIMITRIII ‼️‼️

Hello! I really like your art style– it's so soft and pretty and it warms my heart so see another oc x canon shipper in the fandom ^o^)/💖 my question is: personality wise, how similar are Violet and Francis? Are they kindred souls or closer to being opposites?

Answer to this question is more complex than I thought cause it really depends on what are we walking about. They are very similar and opposite at the same time.

Strictly personality wise I would say they are pretty similar to each other. They both adore spending time with people, having fun at bars and parties or just being around their friends. But it is Violet who is no. 1 extravert in this relationship. Both are very romantic, flirty, confident and committed to their love and every aspect of their lives. "Two very passionate people" and in that aspect I'd say they are perfect for each other. Couldn't be better to be honest.

But of course personalities of characters are complex so let's talk about differences. Francis is a drama queen- to keep it simple. He sulks and complains a lot. If he's jealous he probably will be sad at the end of it. Most of the time he's just joking and doing it just to get some love and attention from his partner but sometimes we are thankful that Viola isn't like that. Cause if she were they wouldn't be talking to each other XD. Of course Francis is never doing anything to cause her trouble or hurt her feelings for real. She likes to tease him tho. If he's sulking she will be cracking jokes and being touchy feely to ease him, but sometimes it's just not the point. This girl needs to learn when to take her primadonna seriously, because sometimes she can be blind towards his real troubles. They're talking about it tho!

This is another part I'd like to cover. One of Violet's love languages is physical touch. I'd say it's the main one. She loves touching him and being close to him. Holding his face in her hands and kiss every part of his body. She's a love bird. And even tho Francis loves it as much as Viola does he prefer to express his love mainly through words. He's an artist so beautiful confessions are like air for him. Sometimes she can be too much and she respects his personal space in times like this. But mainly it's the- if she's not interested for a longer time he craves it more. The longer she's not touching him, the hungrier he gets and he likes it.

Another difference between these two is their temper. Violet is more impulsive than he is. Francis is very expressive when it comes to emotions but overall he's very calm and collected. Violet at the other hand is like fire. But when Fran is more emotional while dealing with things and panicks, Viola is more logical and cold blooded. That way they are perfect for each when it comes to comforting. She reassures him that everything will be alright at the end, and he calm her down when she's too irritated. Violet thinks it's something about his aura, cause I can't count times when she was like "why am I so calm and at peace with him around-".

This is more of a fun fact about them but it's a funny difference. Francis and sport is not a great pair. He's not lazy most of the time but he's not into making himself tired. He loves his lean body and not seeing a need to grow muscles. Violet on the other hand loves sports. She's going to the gym, cause she can release some stress related to work and get some of her energy out on something. She loves to be active when she can be. Fran once was like "can I go on a run with you?" and of course you can. But he was gasping for air not even 15 minutes in. He supports his wife from the couch‼️but it kinda turns him on seeing how strong she can be even tho she doesn't seem like a strong person at first. Her shoulders are rather small and muscles aren't that visible but it's there. He loves all bodies but a strong woman👀

So yeah that's it!! I went FAR more than just personality wise I'm sorry 😭❤ but I think you can't really answer this question. They are very different and similar, but they make their differences work with each other. Communication is very strong part of their relationship so they hardly ever fight. But all of those are just headcanons. And very hot headcanons at that… He’s a hunter, and there are many ways someone can catch their prey or lure it into their trap. Wink.

For the evil art style challenge‼️ soft lineart that's usually not black (sometimes it is but when I picture your style I picture it w/o black lineart) generally your art style looks very soft which is a little vague but I think you know what I mean. You usually use warmer and more saturated colours, especially when shading. You don't always shade but when you do it's usually smooth and not cel-shading.... your proportions and expressions are pretty realistic and not too exaggerated, and the brushes you tend to use are quite simple, as in they're not excessively textured. You also have a distinct way of drawing hands but I can't quite put my finger on what exactly it is that makes them look so distinct to me (I once recognized one of your drawings as being yours just by the hands alone before I even read the url)

THIS isn’t the first time you paid really , really close attention to my art and then perfectly described it to me !! You’re literally the best for putting in your time into do that ❤️ like I feel as if I should thank you bc you explaining every detail to a T. So ty bestie lolol

I absolutely get what you mean by the hand thing lol. I have never properly learned how to draw hands so I think they’re just so bad that they’re instantly recognizable, and somehow became a staple of my style. Like seriously lmao I’m not even trying to exaggerate that. Ik artists typically make a big deal about hands being so hard to draw, and hands aren’t really even that bad. But for some reason, I’ve been drawing hands the same way for several years now and have never been able to improve upon them

I don’t exactly know why that’s the case. There really is just something about the way I draw them. Maybe its the lack of detail (compared to the rest of the drawing) and weird fingers. But it’s okay <3 I forgive my weird hands

ill start w personality first- i’d like to say im quiet and laidback but that’s around people that i dont know too well !! when i get to know people & we become friends i become 10x louder and never stop talking,, i always use a LOT of sarcasm… although from an outsiders pov i do not look like the nicest person bc i have a bad case of rbf😣 (thanks to my dad). my friends slang, and the way they act rub off on him VERY EASILY. but i also find myself changing the way i talk a lot 😭. i tend to love to dabble in random sports! ive done soccer, tennis, and track in the past for multiple years. currently i do martial arts (which i’ve been doing for like 14 yrs..) and have a black belt! i also twirl baton due to the fact that ive been a majorette since freshman yr! my style is NEVER consistent! i miss it up all the time, although i do wear a lot of “basic” clothes, i tend to find myself wearing “streetwear” (?? ithink that’s what it’s called 😭.) im pretty good at makeup & would love to wear it everyday but i cannot for the life of me convince myself to do it everyday… i value my grades very much (4.0 every yr so far !!)! although its not obvious bc i hate extra work and wont study unless absolutely needed… i can’t think of anything else so lemme know if theres something more that u need!! :))

12. Describe your process while drawing!

I have one of the most inefficient art processes on the planet .. I usually start by picking out/imagining what colors I want to use, and then I do about 50 thousand rough sketches of poses. Sometimes I get it right on the first try, but it's pretty rare. Then I do my usually 3 lineart layers (1 sketchy lineart layer, one "OK this actually looks like the thing I want it to be" and then a finalish lineart)... all of this is the process that takes the longest for me. THEN I GET TO COLOR AND I FEEL FREED FROM THE SHACKLES OF PERFECTION 🧨💥🎆‼️

I am so picky about my lineart but you wouldn't think that because it just ends up looking different every time. The quality of my art is entirely dependent on my daily circumstances because my process outside of coloring is kind of different EVERY time I pick up the pen.

14. Favorite Thing about Drawing?

I can have my little freaks in my possession at ANY time I want. But I always forget the horrors (not being able to draw your fave correctly). I also am EXTREMELY and almost solely motivated to draw for people. I love drawing ocs, comics, stories and just painting emotions. It makes me feel very fulfilled :-] ❤️

30. What is something in your art that you're proud of?

Everything! I mean that quite plainly. I'm proud of my progress (should I even call it that?), even if I don't really like my art style. I'm proud I haven't let people bully me into not drawing what I love! I love drawing things people consider childish or cringe and I love seeing how my art grows with me as a person.. ugh call me lactose intolerant bc this was too cheesy for ME !
