when mav bought his hanger and P-51 him and bradley would drive out there every chance they got. The windows of mavs truck down, music playing at an “appropriate” volume until a song bradley loved started playing and he turned it all the way up, mav of course had to sing along. Bradleys bag of toys and comics in the back beside a box of new parts mav found.

bradley would play or read and sometimes help mav work on the plane, and by help i mean he’d sit on the wing or in the cockpit and pretend he was flying.

As he got older he wanted to learn more, he handed mav tools and asked more questions about how it all worked, he even started reading the manual.

but bradley never got to fly in the plane for real, mav never fixed it before their falling out. Until they reconnected. The first time mav invited bradley over it was to take him flying

so what if when murderbot destroyed central and targetcontrolsystem and 2.0, it… failed? what if something about the alien remnant kept them alive in there? but damaged, confused, and corrupted. so 2.0 wakes up. its memories are corrupted, but tcs uses what it has access to to put together something plausible to get 2.0 to let its guard down, so it can get close, so it can take it over. repeat ad infinitum. whenever 2.0 is lucid enough to do so it starts spamming assistance needed requests, but anyone who’d be willing to help it is long gone by now. it’s just them down here now, alone together.

unless tcs pokes the tiger too much and 2.0 eats it! but that probably wont happen

So, in my humble opinion, I think that I'd mention to him literally once, just once, the type of jewelry I like (gold and classic/dainty), and he'd take that and fucking run.

He would absolutely try to find an antique wedding ring for me. And he'd know that I love it because I'm all about thrifting and vintage items. But? He'd have to do so much looking around, would probably have notifications on his phone for when there are estate sales in the area, and he'd try his absolute hardest to make sure that I don't know what he's doing or what he's up to.

Because of that, it'd probably have to be a classic diamond, but I wouldn't put it past him to get the stone altered hehe. And I know he would, so ....
