Mon avis : J’ai beaucoup aimé le premier tome et j’ai eu envie de découvrir la suite des aventures de nos chasseurs de Tengu et surtout voir ce qu’il allait advenir du frère aîné en bien mauvaise posture. Ce manga continue de me séduire malgré sa noirceur ambiante. Je le trouve dur et les personnages ne sont pas du tout épargnés. Mamoru, plus qu’aucun autre, va devoir faire ses preuves et ça ne…

it drives me a little crazy that Kou is supposed to be understanding kaii as individual people, coming into respecting their personhood, standing up to his brother’s unfair and absolutist mindset, but he still finds the family sword objectively cool and brags about its historical potency....

Isn’t that a little tone deaf? Or for lack of a better word, offensive? You’re trying to stand against your brother’s strict rule system, you’re unpacking the good/evil binary you were taught.... but you’re not yet at the point you’re ashamed of the sword’s immense history...  he’s having such a little shounen hero moment, but somehow the psychology of it sucks for me.... I guess I wish you were at least like, sad or ashamed to have to be using it? 

I suppose it is like if you were born into a family of wolf hunters, which was epic and whatall, then you learn wolves are mostly innocent creatures typically driven to extremes via humans encroaching on and attacking them, but you still brag about the potency of the Wolf Killing Gun. If you had a beautiful tender friendship with a wolf I’d be like hey ............................ stop   ..... brandishing the Wolf Killing Gun....... thank God Hanako at least sealed your staff... so you can only uhhhhh taze people is that good?

is it ‘cuz Hakubo is an Oni? Kou is scared of Oni in particular. That sucks though, what, will every individual species of kaii with a particularly rough mythology have to earn the more individualized sympathy you give to Mitsuba and Hanako? You know Teru wants you to straight up kill Tsuchigomori......... that kindly teacher man who doesn’t hurt a flea ........ if Teru showed you the big sledgehammer historically used to smash tsuchigumo would you just be like wow, cool? I wish he had a little bit of horror and shame for the history of the tools he was introduced to via what he now understands was propaganda, and, really had some kind of, complex understanding of kaii .... 

I feel exhausted with his journey until he can meaningfully apply what he’s learned out on the field, to complex situations .... if you’re just going to blast whatever Kaii is in front of you, what about you is any different from Tsukasa just smashing No. 3 for his own goals, y’know? Hakubo attempts multiple times to let Kou go, tries to talk him out of unnecessarily dying, and sympathizes with the possible motivations Kou may have to feel like his life is worth giving up (which Hakubo doesn’t want him to do) ..... but Hakubo has a power Kou wants to use, so, he has to be exorcised ..... he’s nothing but fodder, just like the Tengu was to Tsukasa. At the very least, that’s worth a pause for thought .....

guess I just find this thing he does to Mitsuba egregious, though. There’s something ghoulish about not hesitating to whip out your family weapon explicitly for terminating kaii to nothingness on your friend who is the class of being historically targetted by your family. 

the weapon is a bit loaded isn’t it TT_TT I dunno... its like if Hiccup was using a Dragon Zapper on Toothless he got from his Dragon Hating Dad  . like without hesitation or remorse ... at the slightest provocation ....

you have not unpacked the weight of these items and your family’s legacy TT_TT I really want Kou to feel ... bad...... I hope he gets a wake up call which makes him at least consciously contemplate his weapon and its use .... maybe Minamoto dad can cause something. 

If only he was leaning into being shitty, or ruthless or something-- but wanting to align yourself to goodness and heroism and doing whats right ..... while only sortof absent-mindedly continuing your habits..... hrhggjkhk. I understand Tsukasa’s alignment being chaotic, he’s consistent! All I care about is consistency and a reason for doing this or that. Kou is so all over the place, the hypocrisy and contradictions of brutality/bullying and virtue posturing drive me nuts in every arc..... its like he just doesn’t ..... think

So how any of my AUs that are not Hopes for a Bastard, or a major story I'm writing, are all based off requests, so if you request it, I'll write it. Even if I'm slow, I will get to that. And just in case everyone doesn't remember the AUs to request, here's list:

JayRae:

Historical AU: Birds of a Feather on Ao3; which is the AU you're talking about, set on the cusp of WWI between Jason being a spy and Raven being a maid for his family. I do have a plot for this, but I only write it on request or if requests fit the AU.

Treasure Hunter AU: Gem of Scath or Bust on Ao3; set on WWII Professor Raven and Treasure Hunter Jason racing against Nazis to find the Gem of Scath.

Constantine Dad AU: Fatherhood; By John Constantine on Ao3; I think everyone knows this particular AU of mine at this point, whether through others creating their own versions or talented and lovely artists like @mobz-art who've created a master piece with this AU; I blame mobz-art entirely for my reignited love of this AU, their work is stunning. It's about the premise of if Constantine adopted Raven when they met in hell. My particular AU does involve Constantine adopting many young magic users, and JayRae romance.

Calm in the Storm AU: Calm in the Storm as a whole is just whatever prompts I feel fit this AU and whatever requests come for this AU happen. It's an out of sequence story centered around a secret relationship initially and how it grew to be something more between Jason and Raven.

Percy Jackson AU: Queen of Darkness & King of Trouble on Ao3; Daughter of Hades and Son of Posiedon wreaking havoc and unleashing chaos upon the Children of Jupiter.

Explorer AU/Pocahontas: This AU set on the premise of a Union Officer post Civil War in the late 1800s and a Navajo medicine woman crossing paths and banning together to travel the precarious southwest.

Japanese AU: Homeward on Ao3; in which Jason is a foreign ronin sold into slavery by Talia al Ghul and eventually bought and freed by a tengu version of Raven who is taking him home.

Hopes for a Bastard Universe: which depends on what your requesting on if it will or won't fit. Batfamily, other pairings, JayRae, the actual series, it all fits in this Universe, so if you have specifics you're curious about just ask. @ravenfan1242; I'm still working on Is Now 'Yet'? so yes, you guys can request more.

Crime Lord AU: Devil's Deal on Ao3; my coffee shop AU really, in which Jason and Raven are each other's morning routine at the local coffee shop, from the moment they walk into the shop, to the point where they get to the counter, then part ways to their respective lives. Jason is a Crime Lord and Raven is a local writer.

Hogwarts AU: Diné in Scotland on Ao3; Raven is a Navajo witch from America, post Revolution, and Jason is a Scottish auror; their pathes intersected somewhere in 1781 and now Raven finds herself in Europe with no idea how she got there.

Star Wars AU: Walk the Stars on Ao3; Raven is a bounty hunter and Jason is a Jedi Warrior with Kyle Rayner as his unfortunate padawan as he tries to navigate the Clone Wars with the Roy clones, and evade King Bruce of Gotham who is convinced Jason is his son.

Gladiator AU: Slaves of Rome on Ao3; Jason is a Jewish slave, who took the blame so his little brother wasn't arrested for murder, son of Bruce who is a prominent Merchant, and is forced into the role of Gladiator. Raven is a Celt who's been captured and forced into the Colosseum, together they've banded an unlikely alliance in a vain hope to escape the Roman Empire

1930s AU/Addams Family: Abyssinia on Ao3; set in the 1930s in a sleepy town where strange happenings are afoot, and the newest slew of murders slay the strange town, as does the passionate love affair of Jason Todd and Raven Roth.

Vikings AU: A witch sentenced to die by the church is rescued by the very Viking raiders burning her home to the ground. Now the Viking finds himself with not only a single thrall, but four thralls as the witch protects her cousins. Jason and Raven must learn each other and the other's culture to survive and raise Raven's cousins.

Prince & Bodyguard AU: The Crown on Ao3: Jason is now crown prince of his country, he was never supposed to be the crowned prince. Now he's hired the medic he served with to help him find who assassinated his elder brother and his family. Jason is the Crowned Prince of Gotham, Raven is his smart ass bodyguard and medic.

Mermaid AU: is set when Jason and Raven both have unexpected encounters with the other and continue to have their lives intersect.

Supernatural AU: Jason's a Hunter abandoned by his family, and he used to hunt her. But they struck a deal and now he's partners with the most powerful Natural Born Witch of the age, and they travel the country handling out of control supernatural activity while Jason's lost family hunts for him.

Lost Son AU/Once Upon A Time: A chance one nightstand resulted in an unexpected child, who she gave up for adoption. Now, years later, that child has come for her to break a curse set on his father and the locals of his town in a vain hope to give Raven back the family she never had. Jason is the local bookstore owner who's vastly unamused with this tale, but puts Rae up in his spare room while she keeps an eye out on their son.

Modern AU: ER Nurse Raven is stress certified dating Petty Officer First Class Jason Todd, and it's never simple. Dating is hard!

Witcher AU (which I remember writing but don't know if I posted it... When I find it this is one of my AUs): Witcher Jason Todd's Destiny has long since been bound to the powerful sorceress Raven since he saved her from herself and now there is a child of surprise who's bound them both to the inescapable weavings of fate itself in brewing chaos.

Cowboy AU: Jason found himself free of the service, and after twenty years of having no family and now free, went on a bit of a trip to evade his crazy family. Somehow he landed in New Mexico where he got tangled up in the Roth Family and their Family Ranch, which has a far more complicated and tangled, bloody history than he'd have expected; as he is bewitched by the Ranch Owner, Raven Rachel Roth.

Lord of the Rings AU: Ranger Jason and his elven companion are on the hunt to stop the brewing darkness and save all of Middle Earth, while protecting Hobbits of all things. Raven is an Elf of Azarath who's run from her domineering grandfather and seeks to remain with the lost Prince of Gotham.

Werewolf AU: To be posted in the next week or two; all I'm going to say is that it's set more on the Irish Werewolf myths than the traditional werewolf myths.

Regency AU: To be posted in the next week or two; cliche I know, but it's going to be unique, I promise it will not be like anything you've read for this kind of AU in either DamiRae or JayRae.

Beauty & the Beast AU: @titanstalesofmidnight is the main blog this will be posted on as @shewhowillnotbenamed1 & I will be writing this particular AU when we can and when we want to.

DamiRae:

Greek AU: This is really my Odysseus AU, and there's only going to be 5 for sure plotted parts, but if you should have a request, feel free to ask. The premise is set upon Damian waking on Azarath where Raven resides as punishment from the gods, they slowly entwine their lives together and fall in love.

Royalty AU: Is to be set in modern times, where Damian is Prince of Nanda Parbat, and Raven is Princess of Azarath, they are to be having a turbulent affair which brings their nations on the brink of either war or peace, the results may vary as nefarious ex-lovers, and rival nations seek favor with the royals.

Bridgerton AU: This is Scandal on Ao3; there's no real big plot planned, but it is set on the premise of the broke Duke of Gotham seeking a fortune as a means to save his family from ruination because of his youngest brother, Richard, and the Duchess of Azarath evading any and all marriage proposals set to her until... the Scandal!

Vampire AU: Take a Bite Out of You on Ao3; when Damian Wayne invests a good portion of his life in disproving the supernatural while his half brother Timothy insists in it's existence; after the brutal and mysterious murders of their family. Unbeknownst to Damian, he's about to step right into the very world he does not believe in as the First Vampire and First Werewolf continue to hash out their break up; thousands of years later.

Into the Dark: Is not yet posted, though I will be posting it when Classes are over, is a similar premise as Calm in the Storm where it will be an out of chronological order story centered around the relationship of Damian and Raven, I just haven't gotten a good opening yet, but I do have a few snippets of it written out, but when I have that opener; sometime before the New Year, I'm hoping to kick start that series.

Nanda Parbat AU: Raven is a nameless, voiceless slave of the League of Shadows, summoned from an unknown hell for the Church of Blood, before Ra's al Ghul saw better purpose for her. She is the right hand of the heir apparent; Damian al Ghul, and rival of Mara al Ghul. Much is contingent upon Damian's heir apparent status as his elder sister is the disgraced shame of their family, and his cousin is psychotic, he is to keep the League of Shadows alive for the next millenium, but only if he weds assassin Lian Nguyen, daughter of Jade Nguyen, notorious assassin outside the League of Shadows, trained by Lady Shiva.

Neighbors AU: Damian is a world class pianist who's just moved in above a reclusive writer. They clash rather instantly when they meet and she learns he's the one disrupting her life with his constant practicing. Damian is merely unimpressed with the frumpy woman who scolds him mercilessly, until he finds out she's his favorite murder mystery writer.

CEO AU: Damian Wayne is the eldest son of Bruce Wayne, and CEO of Wayne Enterprises, putting him in a wealth bracket like Elon Musk. It is all well and good to have all the money in the world, but he desperately craves love which is not attracted on his money or status. Unsurprisingly Raven, a caretaker of her cousins, working on a struggling family ranch; helps Damian when his car breaks down in the middle of New Mexico, on the reservation, and she has no idea who he is.

Mafia AU: She is the most ruthless mob boss to ever reside in Hell's Kitchen, granddaughter of the Devil, Princess of New York City, and the most powerful woman in America in the 1950s. He's the competition's most secret weapon, their hitman, and he's been hired to take her out. Can he take her out before she puts him in her own crosshairs?

Dystopia AU: After Covid killed off most the world's population, survivors scattered all over the globe of a ravished world, he was running for his life from his grandfather. Somehow he found himself making a home in the ruins of the lost city of Azarath, which houses one of the last sects of humans alive. Raven is their Queen, and his fate is in her merciless hands.

Curse AU: Damian made a deal with the devil's granddaughter, and now the time to pay has come. In order to save his sister, Athanasia, he sold his soul to the demoness known as Pride, and she's come to collect what is due to her. Can he keep the curse at bay, or will he surrender his soul to her when she summons him?

Princess of Thieves AU: She's an illusionist and a renown thief; stealing from the wealthiest and seeking the most unobtainable goods. Damian is the competition who's always a step behind, until he proposes an alliance between them when she's framed for a murder she did not commit. Together they plan to steal her freedom back, as well as the life of the unknown targeting her and her reputation.

So if you specifically request the AU's above, I'll be happy to write it whenever I have a minute; holidays have me a wee bit busy at the moment, but I will get to it. Any and all 'Private' Stories I have on my profile will be made public again by the end of this coming week.

So, I recently thought up a really fun Samurai Jack AU story about what If Tengu the Mechanic’s daughter grew up to be a rebel freedom fighter against Aku during the 50 years that Jack lost the sword and lost his own way. Since she’ll probably be inspired to me a force for good in the future Aku timeline, I was thinking about maybe having her going through training like Jack but instead of being trained to be a warrior like Jack did, she essentially trained to be a spy/ninja instead.

Utilizing her small, petite feminine figure to her advantage, while also using a lot more high-tech equipment to help out against Aku’s forces (like some futuristic spy gear mixed with traditional ninja weapons).

So just imagine her trying desperately to figure out how to infiltrate one of Aku’s hideouts only to be found out by someone like Scaramouche or Demongo.

Or maybe having her try to beat up some Bounty Hunter’s that are after her, but she actually gets help from Flora (one of the Scotsman’s daughters) or even The Scotsman himself.

Not to mention that I also imagine the very bittersweet ending to her own personal adventure where essentially, she’s an old woman by the time the events of Season 5 rolls around as she finally sees Jack again but as elderly woman who still fights the good fight against Aku at the final battle until Jack goes back in time to kill Aku in the past as she and the rest of her own timeline gets erased as a result!!

(Yeah…the ending of the actual series is still pretty messed up in hindsight.)

~ Aku: FOOLISH GIRL!! DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT YOU WOULD EVER BE ABLE TO STOP ME?!

~ Tengu’s Daughter: Honestly…yeah…. I kind of do!!

But yeah…She definitely aged gracefully despite rebelling against Aku at her age as she’s still fighting the good fight while hearing rumors about Jack might be still alive and fighting as well.

~ Tengu’s Daughter: I keep hearing that Jack might be still alive out there somewhere...man I really hope so…🥰❤️❤️❤️

(Her only regret was that she wished that she was just a little bit younger so she could hook up with Jack instead of Ashi. Not to mention that that she still kind of talks like a valley girl even in her old age.)

I could also see her making a mark for support for Jack, it’ll be like his original family’s insignia from the first few episodes where she shows she got big support for jack because she got a tattoo of the same mark.

Plus, I also imagine that she’ll probably be also moonlighting as a bounty hunter herself to support her aging parents and her little brother and sister as well (While also keeping a lookout for Jack if possible).

But ironically enough, this particular Samurai Jack AU is probably my most bittersweet series that I’ve ever did considering the show’s ending!!😅👌

Maybe a little cute moment with her would be a scenario where she tries to defend Jack from a demonically possessed Ashi even as an old lady during the final battle with Aku only for Jack to stop her and explain to her about the whole situation with him and Ashi.

~ Tengu’s Daughter: Wow Jack…your actually in love with AKU’S DAUGHTER?!

~ Jack: Well…technically yes…. But it’s a little more complicated than that?!😅

~ Tengu’s Daughter: Yeah…. I really hope so my dude!!😒

Hisoki  is  a  seasoned  bounty  hunter,  in  order  to  provide  for  his  brothers  after  loosing  their  home  he  sought  out  a  rogue  Tengu  tribe,  known  as  the  carrion  crows,  to  ask  of  them  to  opportunity  to  be  brought  into  their  fold.  They  existed  on  the  fringes  of  the  Yokai  realm,  a  small,  calloused  band  of  hunters  wallowing  amongst  the  filth  of  the  Earth  in  rejection  of  the  skies  as  they  quietly  tended  to  their  work.  It  was  through  them  that  Hisoki  earned  the  opportunity  to  strike  out  on  his  own,  accepting  his  own  jobs  through  established  sources  &  fully  operating  as  a  lone  unit  (  with  exception  to  his  brothers,  they  occasionally  work  in  pairs  ).

His  bounties  are  typically  not  mortal,  though  due  to  the  assimilation  of  the  two  cultures  together,  man  &  creature  living  amongst  one  another  in  secret,  he  cannot  avoid  entering  Human  society  as  a  whole.  Quite  the  opposite,  most  of  his  work  comes  from  the  dingy  alley  ways  of  the  neon  lit  city,  in  the  seedy  backrooms  of  the  red  light  districts  &  soap  lands  where  his  scum  of  the  Earth  targets  lie.  He  doesn’t  enjoy  frequenting  these  areas,  but  he  does  so  out  of  necessity  (  and  with  no  judgement  to  it’s  occupants,  he  respects  all  walks  of  life  ).

He  accepts  bounties  that  stipulate  dead  or  alive,  alive  is  a  better  reward  but  sometimes  dead  is  safer.

He  does  have  an  honor  code,  some  dark  circles  offer  jobs  that  border  on  personal  retaliation  for  the  clientele  &  he’s  accepted   them,  at  times,  but  never  if  the  target  was  undeserving.

He  does  not  accept  targets  if  they  are  any  of  the  following:  Pregnant  women,  children,  holy  men  (  any  religion  &  they  must  be  innocent  )

He  lives  out  of  town,  far  away  from  the  bustle  of  the  city  in  a  remote  area  where  he  shares  a  home  communally  with  his  brothers.  The  home  itself  is  a  large  fixer  upper,  there’s  a  hole  in  the  ceiling  of  the  main  room  &  a  nasty  draft  but  they  don’t  mind.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba EP#02 - Trainer Sakonji Urokodaki: Tanjiro continues to make his way to Mt. Sagiri, carrying Nezuko in a clothed straw basket on his back during the day. That night, they encounter a demon feeding in a temple, who attacks Tanjiro. Tanjiro barely manages to fend him off, but Nezuko manages to decapitate it with a kick. Tanjiro manages to pin the demon's head to the tree using his axe and pushes its still-alive body off a cliff. An old man with a tengu mask approaches the siblings and orders Tanjiro to kill it, but he hesitates until daybreak, where the sunlight burns the demon to ash. The man, revealed to be Urokodaki, worries that Tanjiro's kindness and weak resolve will be his undoing should he become a demon hunter, but nevertheless brings him and Nezuko to Mt. Sagiri. Urokodaki leaves the sleeping Nezuko in his cabin and brings Tanjiro to the peak of the mountain, ordering him to return by daybreak, as a test to see if he is fit to become a demon hunter. However, the test may not be as easy as it seems as the mountain road is filled with booby traps, greatly slowing his progress, coupled with the fact that the air is extremely thin. Tanjiro manages to use his keen sense of smell to detect the scent of the traps and evade most of them, allowing him to return just in time. Urokodaki recalls a letter sent by Giyū requesting that he train the siblings, and acknowledges Tanjiro.

One-Punch Man 2 EP#02 (14) - The Human Monster: During the meeting, Garou insults both the heroes and the villains, saying that he is on the side of monsters and declares everyone as his enemy. He beats up everyone using his martial arts skill except Sitch as a message to spread the word of Garou. Meanwhile, Saitama is at his house playing video games on the PlayStation Portable that he stole from King, while Genos is doing chores when Genos hears a knock on the door. Genos opens the door to see Speed O Sound Sonic trying to find Saitama to fight him. While Genos and Sonic fight someplace else, Fubuki, going by Hellish Blizzard, is the B-Class Rank 1 hero who tries to persuade Saitama to join her faction. Fubuki fails to convince Saitama, and orders her underlings to attack him, but Saitama easily beats them in one punch. Fubuki uses her psychic abilities to seemingly defeat Saitama, but Saitama remains unfazed from her attacks. He then berates her for surrounding herself with underlings, as she thinks that if she's surrounded by underlings she would be stronger. However, he tells her she would eventually face a villain that would be stronger than her and her underlings. Saitama proclaims that factions are useless, and warns the esper to never insult heroes ever again. Fubuki ignores his lecture and tries to attack him again, but Saitama sees Sonic and Genos fighting behind her and an imminent explosion. When the explosion clears, it is shown that Saitama saved Fubuki from the blast while remaining unscathed himself. During the scuffle, it seems that there is no clear winner as Sonic is too fast while Genos is way too durable. Genos tries to create a huge explosion which would knock out Sonic, but Saitama knocks Genos down, reminding him that if he made the explosion, it would have destroyed Saitama's apartment. Saitama then challenges Sonic, and hilariously counters Sonic's shadow clone move with Killer Move: Serious Series Sideway Jumps (by side jumping really fast). Sonic is shocked, and in the moment Sonic passes through the after images, he crashes to the ground, badly bruised and defeated, while Fubuki watches the whole thing in awe of Saitama’s ease of defeating such an obviously powerful opponent. Later in Saitama’s apartment, Fubuki reveals that she is the younger sister of Tatsumaki, S Class Hero Rank 2 known as Tornado of Terror. Due to Tatsumaki being overwhelmingly strong compared to her, Fubuki gathers underlings to be stronger. Genos asks why she doesn’t strive to be Class A Rank 1, but Fubuki says she can't because Amai Mask is Class A Rank 1, and he is too strong. Elsewhere, Amai Mask brutally kills a monster named Suppon, emphasizing her point. Fubuki also says that she would never be Rank Number 1. Fubuki tries to convince Saitama one last time to join her faction, but Saitama refuses. Before Fubuki could insult him, King arrives to retrieve his video game. Fubuki is shocked to be in King’s presence, while Saitama tries to explain that he accidentally destroyed the PSP as well as erased King's saved data. The Hero Association gives Saitama the hero name Caped Baldy because of his appearance, while Genos is named Demon Cyborg due to his aggressive attacks. In the closing scene, Garou defeats Tank Top Vegetarian in an alleyway.

Dr. Stone Kingdom of Science Arc EP#09 - Let There Be the Light of Science: During their ramen patronage, the gang are approached by Gen Asagiri, a magician from Senku's time, who had been sent by Tsukasa to confirm Senku's death but claims he will give a false report instead. Using the successfully completed iron, Senku takes advantage of a sudden thunderstorm to turn it into powerful magnets. While Gen uses his street magic to ward off a violent villager named Magma, the gang use the magnets to build a power generator which they manage to convince Kinro and Ginro to operate, leading to the reinvention of the lightbulb.

Fire Force EP#12 - Eve of Hostilities in Asakusa: The fire fighters, including Company 8, commence reconstruction of Asakusa following the destruction by Benimaru, and relations improve between the two companies. However, the White Hoods dupe Benimaru into believing that Obi and Hinawa are creating Infernals and he attacks them. Obi and Benimaru fight each other to a standstill, and Konro risks his life to stop Benimaru and forces him to listen to reason. As Koro recovers from his injuries, he tells the 8th the story of his injuries. He suffers from tephrosis, permanent damage inflicted his body, after he exceeded the limit of his pyrokenesis when he saved Benimaru from a powerful Infernal.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma (Training Camp Arc) EP#15 - The Man Called "Carnage”: As the students make their way home, Shinomiya decides to return to France to make his restaurant the best in Paris, while the other alumni explain how the training camp also serves as a recruitment ground to determine potential for future employment. Soma ends up missing his bus and has to hitch a ride back to school with Erina, who explains the next event, the Autumn Festival. Returning to the Polar Star Dormitory, Soma is surprised to see his father, Joichiro, who is revealed to be an alumnus and former member of the Elite Ten who went by the name Jouchirou Saiba. As Joichiro treats the returning residents to a meal, Fumio explains that Joichiro and Dojima were once fellow Polar Star residents who were responsible for many of the luxuries the dorm has. It is also revealed that Erina has fond memories of Joichiro as well. Later that night, Joichiro tells Soma about his campus memories, filling him with more determination. The next morning, Joichiro challenges Soma to a cooking battle.

Lupin the 3rd Part 5 EP#18 - Fujiko's Souvenir: One day, Lupin finds his hotel room's toilet clogged. The resulting sanitary restriction, their need for secrecy, and Goemon's strict preference for Japanese cuisine creates friction among Lupin's gang, which is not helped when Fujiko unexpected appears, apparently let in by a drunk Lupin the previous night. While they wait for the plumber, Fujiko begins to act secretively about the bathroom, and they suspect one of her usual schemes against them. The situation becomes more complicated when a passing Zenigata is attracted by the smell of Goemon's cooking and pays a brief visit. In the end, it transpires that Fujiko had dropped by for a special anniversary between herself and Lupin, complete with a gift which she hid in the toilet's water tank, inadvertently causing the blockage.

Black Clover: Elf Tribe Reincarnation Arc EP#91 - Mereoleona vs. Rhya the Disloyal: Yuno learns from a defeated mage that the Midnight Sun is planning to be reborn into their true forms. Asta encounters a clone of himself causing confusion, until Mereoleona sets them both on fire, exposing Rhya as capable of using Copy magic to recreate the spells of other mages. He attempts to use Yami's Darkness magic but Mereoleona sets his spell on fire then punches him in the face. Elsewhere, Mereoleona's brother, Fuegoleon, appears to almost awaken from his coma. Mereoleona's power proves to be a match for Rhya's multiple magic's, even with his third eye activated. Zora reveals that Mereoleona spends most of her time living in the wilderness and has grown impossibly powerful by absorbing nature's magic. Furious, Rhya summons a copy of Asta's Demon Slayer Sword, but it is easily destroyed by Mereoleona as it was merely a copy of the sword and contained no Anti Magic. Mereoleona reveals she can use a powerful ability, Mana Zone, to completely control all the magic within a defined space, and annihilates Rhya, shocking Asta who knows from experience how powerful members of the Third Eye are. Elsewhere, Yuno's skill leads Mimosa to suspect Yuno is also capable of using Mana Zone. They follow the sound of a powerful heartbeat and find a mage floating within a sphere of light.

TOBIRAMA.

Although they are commonly regarded as vermin or pests, rats have impressive traits that signify them as worthy opponents, including sociability, resourcefulness, and ambition. Despite their timidness, rats are known to be stubborn and full of devious ways. Thus, they should be treated with caution.

One of the few to break the mould Slytherin has crafted for itself throughout its history as a house of evildoers and ne’er-do-wells, Tobirama is a pillar of blind justice, though his drive and ambition leave little room to question his rightful Hogwarts house. He aspires to become an inventor of spells, determined to learn everything there is to learn about magic and how it works. Above even that, though, he longs to make a name for himself that stands alone from “Hashirama’s little brother”. He respects and, to a degree, admires his brother’s achievements in the wizarding world, but he’s never been one to settle for walking in the footsteps of someone else.

MADARA.

House: Ravenclaw Year/Age: Sixth/16-17 Familiar: Gyrfalcon Wand: Ebony wood, thestral tail hair core, 12", unbending flexibility Patronus: White stallion

Those with the white stallion patronus possess a strong sense of self. It is difficult to convince them to turn away from personal beliefs or change who they are. Strength and durability in character make the white stallion especially formidable compared to the conjurers of other horse type patronus. However, those who wield the white stallion can often be provocative and rub people up the way.

Madara is but a young wizard trying to find his path in life. He detests the supremacist ideology held by nearly all “purebloods”, largely because the Uchiha are a branch family of the Otsutsuki and are still treated as lesser to this day. Their distant Senju cousins don’t receive the same treatment due to their famous contributions to all of wizardkind in the form of both magical and legislative inventions and advancements. Both the Senju and Uchiha became branch families when their ancestors “tainted” the bloodline with muggle blood. Madara has resented the Otsutsuki for as long as he can remember and he dreams of one day absolving the Uchiha name by abolishing the widespread elitist pureblood propaganda that has plagued the wizarding world for centuries.

TETSUJIN.

House: Ravenclaw Age: 40 Familiar: Siamese Cat Wand: Ebony wood, dragon heartstring core, 11 ¼", rigid flexibility Patronus: Hyena

Often given a bad reputation, hyenas are cunning hunters and scavengers that know what they have to do to survive in the animal kingdom. They live and hunt in packs/clans and are very social animals. They often communicate with those in their clans by making a variety of noises, including the “laughter” they are so famous for. Hyenas are loyal, creative, and fierce.

Tetsujin was Ravenclaw’s poster boy of idle curiosity and devotion to his studies during his years at Hogwarts, so it was no surprise that he was Head Boy in his seventh year. He’d dabbled in such a wide array of magical genres that he didn’t have a clear idea of what he wanted to do until his last year of school. He’d known he wanted to work for the Ministry of Magic since the summer following his fifth year, but the specific position he wanted didn’t come to him for some time. Having achieved his latent desires, he now works as an Obliviator for the Ministry, though few know of this occupation. He doubles as Hogwarts’ professor of Ghoul Studies and only the Headmaster knows of his second job. He’s been assigned to keep an eye on the students should any issues with confidentiality arise.

JIRAIYA.

House: Gryffindor Age: 54 Familiar: Natterjack toad Wand: Silver Lime wood, phoenix feather core, 13 ¾", quite bendy flexibility Patronus: Badger

The recognizable mascot of Hufflepuff House, badgers represent determination. Badgers mostly keep to themselves but are aggressive when threatened. Connected to the earth, the badger is grounded and celebrates individuality. This creature’s stubbornness and instinct to protect make it a formidable enemy for Dementors!

In the glory of his youth, Jiraiya was fondly known as “the Bastard of Hufflepuff”, a title that began in mockery but became a moniker of great pride for its owner. It had been no secret that his muggle father was a deadbeat and that his witch mother had never wanted to give birth to him, but growing up an orphan only strengthened Jiraiya’s resolve to find his own family. He’s still very close friends with some of those from his Hogwarts house, as well as some from the others. He’d made a point of becoming everyone’s friend during his school years, and while he didn’t succeed by a long shot, he still made some everlasting connections that he wouldn’t trade for the world. Currently he’s an accomplished author of magical erotica and spends the rest of his time managing a small inn in Hogsmeade called Hiffle & Piffle Inn.

HINATA.

House: Hufflepuff Year/Age: Fifth/15-16 (Prefect) Familiar: Mini rex rabbit Wand: Cypress wood, dragon heartstring core, 10 ¼", quite bendy flexibility Patronus: Doe

As the Patronus of Severus Snape and Lily Potter, the doe is fiercely protective of its loved ones, as displayed through its caring and nurturing nature. The doe is also representative of gentleness yet strong determination, and with its high level of intuition and sensitivity, it battles life’s challenges with the utmost grace and vigilance.

As the heiress of the pureblooded Hyuga family, Hinata has been taught since birth to be graceful, dignified, and leaderly. She is decidedly none of those things due to a predisposition toward clumsiness and anxiety amoung other flaws. She’s just as disappointed in herself as her family is, though she hopes that by her seventh year at Hogwarts, she’ll have learned to become to woman they want her to be. At the same time, however, she secretly yearns for an escape from her life as little more than an heiress. She wants to explore herself and her possibilities beyond a duty to her family. She just needs a push in the right direction.

KAGAMI.

House: Hufflepuff Age: 23 Familiar: Ferret Wand: Maple wood, phoenix feather core, 10", pliant flexibility Patronus: Dolphin

Intelligence and sociability are among the main attributes of the dolphin. Also known for their playfulness and loyalty, dolphins live and work together in groups to aid the sick and injured and to defend each other from predators. Its incredible intelligence is put to good use in the form of solving complex problems and other such challenges. The dolphin does not enjoy dull, routine activities, so keeping busy with interesting tasks is a must!

Kagami actually hails from Mahotokoro in Japan and he is a professional Quidditch player for the Toyohashi Tengu. His team’s championships eventually led him to visit Hogwarts in England, where he giddily requested to wear the Sorting Hat out of pure curiosity as to what house he would be in. Once he was assigned Hufflepuff, he was offered a tour of the common rooms, which he gracefully accepted. He’s made similar requests all across the globe, ever so happy to see what the different magic schools were like on the inside. It was during his stay at Hogwarts for a scrimmage between one of their Quidditch teams and his that his wand broke and he had to order a new one from Ollivander. He’s quite fond of it and would say that it’s quite fond of him as well.

INDRA.

House: Slytherin Year/Age: Seventh/17-18 Familiar: Maine coon Wand: Pine wood, basilisk horn core, 12 ½", rigid flexibility Patronus: Dragon

One of the most powerful and formidable creatures of the magical world, dragons are ambitious and dominant. With the ability to breathe fire, they quickly assert themselves, garnering both fear and respect from those around them. They are unafraid to take risks and prefer to live by their own set of rules. They are quick to lead and do not back down from a challenge. Dragons are strong in their convictions and will stand for what they believe is right. Those with a dragon for a patronus are sure to be fierce fighters, and the Dementors better be ready for a challenge!

Known Parselmouth and heir apparent to a family of notoriously pureblooded Death Eaters, many Hogwarts students regard Indra as a Voldemort groupie, with respect to his wealthy status, of course. He has yet to make his stance clear on either his family’s affiliation with the Death Eaters or Voldemort himself, so it’s become a hot topic for gossip and rumours throughout the school. He shares an unnerving aura of stoicism and ruthlessness with his maine coon familiar, whose eyes follow everyone who dares come too close to his owner. Despite being a dead ringer for Slytherin’s reputation of villainy types, his goals and ambitions are a mystery. He largely keeps to himself and any rumour of his being seen willingly socializing are just that—rumours.

RYUZETSU.

House: Gryffindor Year/Age: Fifth/15-16 Familiar: Chinchilla Wand: Sycamore wood, unicorn hair core, 11 ½", unbending flexibility Patronus: Siberian cat

Siberian cats are perfect as patronuses. Fearless yet easygoing, they seem to always know when their humans need them for support or comfort. They can be quiet, with soft melodic purrs and chirps. While these may not be the cats to chase down a Dementor, they will stay with you, protecting and calming you until the Dementor fades away.

Having witnessed the death of her childhood best friend at a young age, Ryuzetsu has enjoyed, more or less, the company of thestrals for the majority of her life. She finds comfort in their presence as if they were remnants of Muku keeping an eye on her. Her mother and father head the family business of dragon keeping, a career she’s very much interested in taking up after graduating from Hogwarts. She’s always felt a certain kinship with dragons for their strength and ferocity, striving to become a strong and ferocious woman of her own.

t/n: in this one, the matsus finish the 100 ghost stories in order to summon kara’s powers that will help defeat the hunters and exorcists, and they finally prepare to get the youkai driven out of them. yeah, things get kind of chaotic.

Choromatsu: We’ve finished the 99th ghost story. Todomatsu: Ah! Karamatsu-niisan! …H-He seems totally different from his usual vibe, huh? I-Is it because he’s working…?

Ichimatsu: I think it’s because he’s carrying out the youkai’s behavior. It’s just a habit thing, no more than a phenomenon. …So? What do you want to do? Ichimatsu: We could just not do the last ghost story, and we could live without the second son around from now on, you know? Osomatsu: No no no no no, this isn’t just about Karamatsu, okay? Osomatsu: I want to do something about this situation we’re in! Do the 100th ghost story already, alright?! Ichimatsu: O-Okay. Then… Jyushimatsu: Gulp. Ichimatsu: Our family’s shitty second son Shittymatsu has been possessed by the mysterious youkai, the aoandon. Ichimatsu: For being an irritating, shitty NEET…he has been renamed…the Hiruandon! So rereading Marvel's EXILES and catching up on One Piece.....and it gets me merging them.

Doubt I'll write/draw anything for it, but here's what's been going through my head for the past few days.

If you don't know what EXLIES is, pick it up. It's like Quantum Leap with superheroes. It deals with alternate universe characters hop from parallel world to parallel world fixing things in an attempt to not only save the multiverse but allow them to get back home.

So...one part in particular had me get the idea. In later issues you find out there is a second group, Weapon X, that is also world hopping. Sabertooth (a good guy-ish from his universe) tell how his team met up. By being tossed in the middle of a body of water and having the Time Broker (the equivalent of Al from Quantum Leap) pulls up to them in a boat tosses them some beers and tell them their mission.

So as I said earlier I sorta merged this idea with One Piece....and came up with a 6 (technically 7) person team for fun.

Charalemenge Furioso-

An Alternate world Donquixote Doflamingo. This one actually wised up to what was going on with what Trebol and his people had in mind. He tried to help his brother in secret by just subtly sabotaging many plans.

When it came to assisting Rule (his world's Law) he and his brother came up with a plan that would have his brother and Rule be able to leave in peace...

It didn't go well. Trebol had a suspicion when things started to get rough. In doing so he shot the three, leaving both Rule and Furioso's brother dead, and tossed Furioso into the seas below.

He washed up on the shore of an island, surviving against all odds. However the guilt and self loathing ate away at his psyche, eventually and unknowing becoming a host for a Kohut (a towering creature that is veiled in a black fog, with inky black skin and red eyes set on thwarting all ambitions). He will change against his will if overly stressed or if if pushed into a deep depression.

This gives him a much more meek and defensive personality.

Jokingly considered "Team's Mom".

Krokodile-

An alternate universe version of Crocodile. In his universe, there are vast desserts rather than oceans. (Think Wild West more than Pirates)

He still has sand manipulation, but instead of missing one hand he's missing his whole arm and one eye.

His universe having more steampunk inspired technology has him with a replacement arm, with a Gatling gun, and a telescoping eye.

When times are serious he's very no nonsense, however he does have a bit of a laxed attitude towards everything else. Resulting in him rarely being the team lead.

(And is the "Team Dad")

Eustalaw-

A merged Trafalgar Law and Eustass Kid. In a similar world to the main universe; wherein Law and Kid formed an alliance and fought against a Devil Fruit user with are merging power.

Once merged, both found themselves blindsided by rage and killed the user only to realize that without them alive they wouldn't be able to unmerge.

In the merging they own powers sorta form an amalgamation. Still able to use the Room and Shamble, but only able to switch around with metallic items, limiting what they can switch with-however they can pull whatever metal into their space if needed.

They have been trying to find a why to unmerge themselves since then. Doing what they can to keep reminding them that they are two people; even though they will slip into on shared voice.

Vivi-

And alternate universe Vivi where the war in Alabasta is still going on...and she is on the side of the rebels after her world's Crocodile usurped the throne.

She is well trained in heavy artiliery and close quarter combat.

She's a bit reckless when it comes to protecting anyone on her side; throwing herself in many near death missions that left her with many scars and injuries; to the point where she is numb to most pain.

Tusopp-

An Usopp from a universe of demons; ironically being a Tengu.

He's almost a mirror of his main universe self in personality, though a bit more inclined to stay in fight then to run and formulate a plan of attack.

In fact it's his weakest trait is that he doesn't have the planning capabilities of his main universe counterpart.

To balance that, he has a full demon mode where his baser instincts drive him.

Nicole Robin-

An alternate universe Nico Robin, and only age 10. She is an actual demon child, however from a higher class.

She has a human form that she hides in, and rarely morphs into her demon form.

With her rank in the demon society, she is actually able to help control both Furioso and Tusopp if they ever go out of control (Furioso when he's in his Kohut form, and when Tsuopp goes to his instincts).

However, in seriously times-or when they in a world that proves to be too dangerous for normal humans to survive in, she will transform for the good of the team.

Rosci-

The somewhat 7th member of the team, and Fuiroso's dog. He was found on the island Furioso washed up on, caught in a hunter's trap.

Furioso helped release him, and had been by his side ever since. 

He isn't the typical dog, in fact he was the island's guardian spirit, and when Furioso is threatened he will revert to his true form, a three headed, flame coated wolf.

Although he is an animal and unable to communicate, there are times where he is given a specific duty by their version of the Time Broker.  

However, unlike the actual Marvel’s EXILES, these guys don’t have a universe to return to. Their Time Broker (who I keep picturing as a sorta Look-Alike to Saiyuki’s Merciful Goddess) pulled them before they could be lost to their world’s destruction. Their task, is to prevent any more worlds from vanishing. 

But wait, how was the whole, how Sabertooth’s team got pulled into being Weapon X the thing that had me putting these two together? 

Well, when they aren’t hopping from world to world, they are sailing the oceans of time....literally. In some insane suuped up Thousand Sunny ship...that gets pulled into whirlpools that act at the doorways to the other worlds. Sometimes their pass through without problems; other times they’re shot up from the ocean floor, and others they are plummeting from the sky. 

But...yeah....TLDR;

I’ve been thinking of a Exlies/One Piece AU.

Calm in the Storm AU: An unlikely friendship formed between the Demon and the Broken Robin, and it has been a whirl wind in their lives as they find themselves in a serious relationship and slowly reconciling with the Bats. A series of out of chronological snippets of their relationship throughout the years.

Percy Jackson AU: The Bats were brothers; even if not in blood. Dick, son of Aphrodite, Jason, Son of Poseidon, Tim, Son of Athena, Duke, Son of Apollo, and Damian, Son of Ares, were all adopted by a dangerous human; Bruce Wayne. They spend their summers at Camp Half Blood, where Jason’s best friend resides, Raven, Daughter of Hades, and the satyr, Roy Harper. And oh the chaos that can find these demigods...

Explorer AU: aka ‘Pocahontas AU’, Jason has come west with the Union forces to lay claim to America’s new lands. Raven is the bastard daughter of a Navajo medicine woman and Apache warrior. Shunned by most she’s decided to track these strange men as they trek through the perilous lands of the South West.

Japanese AU: Jason is a ronin in a foriegn land called Nanashi, he was saved by a tengu named Rei.

Hopes for a Bastard Universe: I seriously recommend just going to read the series rather than I writing it out an attempt at the summary.

Okay, these are the most frequently used AUs I have outside of Hopes for a Bastard. So don’t be afraid to ask for them, it’s no trouble for me to write these.
