A Mega CD game based on a 1989 anime based on a Fujiko Fujio manga. Basically, this game is a point-and-click adventure based on a black humor series that plays off human weakness, carelessness, and stupidity for comic effect. The game features three unrelated episodes, each focusing on a different character, and each with multiple endings though none of them could really be described as "good". The game proceeds mostly in standard adventure game style, with the only real interaction being dialogue choices or clicking on objects to investigate them, though there are a handful of minigames sprinkled throughout that will also affect the story outcome.

Overall, I had a tiny bit of fun with its wacky speech and story, though I have to comment on the fact that the graphics look like something out of an Amiga CD32 game. This game kind of reminded me of games like Beneath a Steel Sky, maybe a touch of Dark Seed perhaps? All audio and music are not coming from the CD, by the way, which is kind of a shocker considering it is coming on a disc! This explains why I could not find any hidden CD digital audio tracks in it.

In regards to the manga and anime, I actually enjoyed it a fair bit. It's no Naruto, but it's definitely not Boku no Pico either.

you know... I kind of suspect Moguro-san to sometimes just going on dates with men when he’s doing his shenanigans. That coupled with how lgbt people seems to get a little treatment in his curses... and the fact he’s not shy of dressing like women... a bit fruity.

Started watching The Laughing Salesman in the last couple of days, it's a series I've been meaning to get around to watching and so far I'm really enjoying it! It scratches a very similar itch that I get with the Twilight Zone with them both being older horror-oriented series, though with a lot more karmic retribution that's a lot of fun to watch. Plus it's an excellent series to watch for the upcoming spooky season given its splendidly eerie atmosphere.

I've just also...done the thing again where I get into a niche series. I know it never got a dub, but I've found the first six or seven episodes subbed and that's just enough to get me hooked while also getting me so bummed that I'm having trouble finding more. There's a youtube channel that has a decent chunk of the episodes but that also doesn't have any subtitles. Ain't that just my luck...
