It's my 18th birthday in approximately three weeks, so I'd like to share a little extra about myself. Nothing vital, per se, just some sweet father-child relationship stuff.

My dad is the one that originally got me into Star Wars at the ripe age of 9, if my memory serves me correctly. I was home from school due to a power surge caused by a thunder storm at my primary school, and he suggested we watch some movies to pass the time.

The movies he suggested?

All six of the Star Wars movies that were out at that point in time.

Although he made the mistake of starting with The Phantom Menace (child me and my limited focusing capabilities was bored to the high heavens), they were easily ranked as the best movies I had seen in my life. I doubt it would mean a lot, coming from a kid, but at seventeen? I still think they're the best movies I've seen in my life.

Not because of the theatrics or the CGI, or anything else like that.

Because I got to watch them with my dad. My dad, who barely had enough time to do things like this with me. My dad, who worked in the mines as a FIFO (fly-in-fly-out) worker, solely to provide me with a good start in life.

I got to watch them with him. And it was the most significant part of my life. I even wore a Padawan braid all throughout year six, which had me on the receiving end of odd stares from my private school teachers, but it made me happy.

Not long after we watched the movies, he told me about how when A New Hope first came out, he begged my grandfather to see it in the cinemas with him as he was a nine-year-old at the time (A New Hope was released in 1975, keep in mind).

He's seen every star wars movie since.

He's watched every show.

And it brings warmth to my heart, knowing that my old man shares an interest that's the same as one of mine. Knowing that long after he's gone, he'll be there with me whenever I rewatch Revenge Of The Sith for the nth time. Watching with me and smiling.

Anyways that being said I'm planning on getting a cal kestis lightsaber tattoo done along my spine next year or the year after that, providing I have enough money after my paramedic courses. And I'm getting my dad a replica of Qui-Gon Jinn's lightsaber, because Qui-Gon is his favourite Jedi

i. chappel roan, "the rise and fall of a midwest princess" — ALBUM of the YEAR. to me. i know it came out last year but still. no skips, love her and this album so so dearly. i need it on vinyl stat. inject that shit into my veins etc. current faves: guilty pleasure and super graphic ultra modern girl, but i did also recently listen to california for like a week non-stop

ii. ethel cain, "preacher's daughter" — again i'm LATE to this one, but as far as concept albums go, this is. the peak. like just. screaming crying throwing up, even. i made a powerpoint presentation abt this just so i could share its story with a friend. INSANITY. faves: american teenager, ptolemaea, sun bleached flies (i forgive it all as it comes back to me............. kill me)

iii. taylor swift, "tortured poets department" — i went to the eras tour earlier this month. speechless! wow. i still haven't recovered OR finished listening to all of anthology but i sure have been blasting who's afraid of little old me and but daddy i love him

iv. metteson, "look to a star" — actual album of the year for me. saw him live this spring and he was so so sweet (was manning his own merch booth afterwards and complimented my make up <3 also signed my vinyl) ANYWAY insane voice? like simply unbelievably beautiful. and this is just the debut album??? future records might simply eviscerate me i'm afraid. faves are second heart (!!!), naturally (but nothing comes natural to me / nothing comes naturally...... augh) and heavier than a heart

v. pet shop boys, "nonetheless" — breaking news my favourite old gay men are still releasing bops and bangers and heartbreaking melodies. this released close-ish to my birthday so i've claimed it as a birthday present. what more can i say, they're my favourite band of all time <3 faves rn: new london boy (skinheads will mock you, call you a fag / last laugh is yours, there's a brick in your bag!!) and bullet for narcissus

vi. orville peck, "stampede: vol. 1" — i adore this cowboy beyond measure. as i think i said in a different post, i don't usually care for features and duets, but this does indeed fucking slap. insane vocals as per usual. love the concept. can't wait for vol 2, and also, mr. peck PLEASE come to europe. faves: miénteme and cowboys are frequently secretly fond of each other <3

vii. sea power, "disco elysium" — this is FINALLY on spotify!!! the game of all time, and the soundtrack is equally heartbreaking and hardcore (to the mega). i was going Through It at some point this spring and replayed DE and then just listened to burn baby burn outside whilst smoking. european depression core. faves rn: burn baby burn, saint-brune 1147 (small pinewood church) and precinct 41 major crime unit

viii. jan valta + adam sporka, "kingdom come: deliverance (OST)" — finally bought this recently when it was on sale and my god i'm so glad i did. an immensely entertaining game that you can tell was made with much love. henry of skalitz my SON. been listening to the soundtrack on/off, currently absolutely obsessed with the song poverty and famine (and särmä if you're reading i think you might vibe with this one?)

ix. alkemie, "pentiment (original soundtrack)" — rounding up with another video game soundtrack because i'll simply never get over pentiment. stole my heart in a major way. this soundtrack is STUNNING. can't do it justice with words. my faves rn: sic arsit historia kiersis and rüdeger's rehearsal

OK so the CD collection started in 2021 when Maisie Peters released her debut album YSUFT and I wanted some merch, but it only came in bundles, so I ended up acquiring 2 CDs of the album that way. About half a year later, I went into Half Price Books (a second hand book/record store) and hit the jackpot with 4 Taylor Swift CDs! I was just getting fully into Taylor's music and I thought it would be fun to try and collect CDs from her other albums!

Now at this point I have 6 CDs and no way to play them, they're just on display, so that Christmas my parents got me a CD player and that honestly just fueled my fixation lol. I went from "1 CD from each album" to "the standard edition, deluxe edition, and rerecorded edition of each album" (Taylor Swift). I also figured I might as well collect CDs of other albums I like as well, which is how I can to aquire SOUR, GUTS, emails I can't send, and a random classical music CD i bought from a lady I took a masterclass with (Zoya Shuhatovich).

When Maisie released her sophomore album, naturally I bought the standard CD + 2 of the collectors editions CDs. However, one of the collectors CDs came in wrong (there were 3 editions and they sent the wrong one) and I couldn't buy the one I wanted bc it was sold out. I tried like 3 times from a different website but I got THE SAME WRONG ONE EACH TIME and recently she released a 1 year anniversary merch drop and now the CD is sold out on that website too (but I'm kind of convinced it was sold out to begin with and mislabelled). So to answer your second question that would be my answer. Another answer would be Tortured Poets Department! I was in line when she first announced it and snagged a Manuscript Collector's Edition haha. I snagged the other collector's editions too but this was by far the hardest one I was in line for like an HOUR.

With Taylor's most recent albums, she's been doing like 4+ variations of each album and I am crazy and buy most of the variations so I have 5 Midnights variations, the 4 deluxe versions of 1989 TV (I didn't buy the Target ones) and the 4 collectors editions of Tortured Poets Department (also didn't buy the Target ones). I try to limit myself by only having 1 CD per cover art lol

During this year's Record Store Day, Maisie released a deluxe vinyl and of course I wanted it SO BAD so I went and I ended up also buying the Olivia Rodrigo/Noah Kahan RSD vinyl, a standard emails I can't send vinyl, and The Tortured Poets Department Bolter edition vinyl. I also already had a vinyl of Maisie's sophomore album bc that cover didn't have a CD version but I did not intend to end up with so many 😭 I wanted the Sabrina RSD Feather vinyl but they were sold out in my whole city :( I regret not asking about a Chappell one since it was before she got huge after those festivals and I might've had a chance 😔

But anyway, now I have 6 vinyls and no vinyl player, so I buy one for 20 bucks at a flea market (it works) and now I also have an Espresso vinyl, I preordered a Please Please Please vinyl, and also preordered 2 picture disks of Short n' Sweet (the standard picture disk and the Spotify exclusive one)

My fav CDs are my signed Maisie one (she wished me a happy birthday), my YSUFT CD (bc it was my first), and then probably emails I can't send (bc I just like the album lol). My fav vinyls are my two Maisie ones, one bc it was my first RSD buy and the other bc it's signed. They're both also really pretty.

The price of each CD has varied, I've bought some off eBay for less than 10 bucks and some for more than 20. I'm currently looking into an emails I can't send fwd Japan exclusive CD that's about $30 and I'm sooo close to buying it but I kinda don't have a job rn and I preordered a lot of Sabrina records sjxnjsjdns

Unfortunately, I was stupid during the Midnight release, and when she released signed versions I didn't buy one "because I already bought that version and it wasn't my favorite" and I cannot tell you how much I beat myself up for it bc now it's literally impossible to get a signed Taylor CD. I also missed the sale for signed Sabrina CDs by like 10 minutes and they were all sold out. I didn't buy a signed YSUFT CD bc I wasn't used to online shopping and was scared to, but I did get the signed TGW CD and she wished me a happy birthday teehee

I have a bunch of other signed merch (mostly Maisie) in form of posters, art cards, and T-shirts lol but that's a separate post

stray kids 'ate' album review and ranking!

ugh omg i always say this about every album BUT THIS IS ONE OF THEIR BEST. this is going to change lives and literally be more influential than the renaissance, mark my words. i love skz's mashups because its so fun to piece together all the bits and pieces when you listen to the full album! from the very beginning, i claimed 'i like it' as my track because it had me going feral just from the snippet and i am OVERJOYED to say that it is still my favourite probably because i can lowkey relate to it which isn't actually a good thing help but we live and we love. the whole album is absolutely delectable and the title track is STUNNING! every track feels like it's literally the highest quality and i adore that, that's one thing skz never skimp on and i loved seeing how they talked about how they wanted to release the album earlier but didn't to work on the songs. i feel like not enough bands in kpop do this (not the fault of the bands, the fault of the companies) and they end up releasing really low quality music because it has a very limited timeframe and they're releasing tracks so often, so to see skz put so much effort (as they always do) to really make sure the album is the best it can be is so reassuring to me that there's a reason they are and always have been my number one and stood out to me. anyway, remember that this ranking is entirely my opinion and honestly there were NO misses in this album. they truly ate, if you will. feel free to disagree and let me know your faves in the comments!

'i like it' - NOT THE SITUATIONSHIP TRACK?? for some reason, i always fall in love with the dysfunctional relationship tracks (see: "collision" and "chill" being two of my all-time faves), and i think i'm realising it's because i relate to them in a way that's probably not good (there's this boy i've been very on and off liking and he might like me back but the mixed signals we're sending each other is so confusing) anyways, my gosh this track is absolutely delicious! when i first heard it in the mashup, i knew it was going to be the one i became addicted to. i listen to all of skz's songs pretty regularly, but there's a certain collection of songs, usually one per album, that just have something that has me fully addicted and unable to avoid. i get this feeling as soon as i hear the song in the mashup track and just immediately KNOW that its my 'one'. i'm seeing skz's 'dominate' tour for my birthday with my stay mama and they BETTER perform this song or i will be contacting people, and i'm not even kidding. there's a reason i befriended all the eshays in my school; we will take over jyp if i don't get to hear this live.

'runners' - I ADORE A WHOLESOME 'teamwork makes the dreamwork' ASS SONG AND SKZ HAVE BEEN WORKING OVERTIME HANDING THEM OUT LATELY! this is my lego batman movie track (sorry @thevampywolf) like it just gives 'teamwork makes the dreamwork' and i adore that. it reminds me a lot of 'blind spot', which is a song i hold very close to my heart, and the whole vibe these tracks give me is just nostalgia. 'lego batman movie' is the only way i can sum it up, but hear me out; that's my all time favourite movie, and i feel the same way about that movie that i do about these songs. i feel so proud (everyone's overcome so many challenges and come together!) and also so comforted (we've been rooting for them the whole time and they made it!). when i heard those vocals in the mashup, i knew this was going to end up being an album favourite. it's always the final chorus that gets me, 'blind spot' did the exact same thing. i love this so much. i love skz so much. if this is the outro song at the concert, i'll probably start bawling (i will regardless).

'chk chk boom' - i hate my brother. HATE HIM. he was watching the mv with me (he's also a stay) but had the nerve to say 'it lowkey sounds like dame tu cosita'. HE DID NOT. i won't be able to listen to it without thinking of that now. but i love this song, so i think i can cope. it's an absolute BANGER and feels so skz but also so different which i love! it's different, which skz always do, but also catchy. it's really difficult to create a track that is simultaneously super new and out there but also very memorable and easy to listen to, but skz have nailed that balance. i love the chorus, but the in between verses actually stuck out to me more for this one! the beat is so addictive and jisung in particular really stood out with his raps in this for me; he always feeds us good but this felt like it unlocked a new level of iconic. felix looked absolutely magical in the mv, and i'm so happy to see his freckles out and about! jeongin...don't even speak to me about him. it's reinforced the reason why i ended up with three biases: there's literally no way i can choose between him, minnie and hyunjin. my mum (minho bias) was also super excited to see minho get chorus time in the teaser! they all did so, so well and i'm so proud of my boys. the wait was well, well worth it.

'twilight' - the way this went straight onto my comfort song playlist was crazy; i was so excited to find out the piano sample in their teaser videos was actually in a song because i LOVE tracks like this! although i play a lot of high energy music, chill stray kids songs are probably the ones i end up listening to the most, because they're so comforting, especially when i'm going to sleep or overwhelmed. the beat for this is also really nice, and i like how simple the instrumental is, which allows their vocals to really shine through. i hope they do a live performance of this at the concert as well, it's so beautiful and feels so dreamy.

'mountains' - i'm not a huge shouty chorus fan, but when the mood is right, the mood is right, and THE MOOD IS RIGHT. will be screaming this at the top of my lungs when (not if) they perform it; it's such a banger and it was the PERFECT intro song for their album. the tracks skz select as the intro tracks are always so well fitted in setting the mood for the full album, which i think is so important (the worst thing is an album that lacks a consistent concept and theme). also, the background vocals are absolutely ADDICTIVE. as soon as i heard them in the unveil for this song, i lost my mind. i adore skz's vocals, i adore skz's raps; when they combine the two, i go ABSOLUTELY FERAL. this sticks with me the same way 'maniac's chorus does.

'stray kids' - don't. i'm going to cry. felix's soft vocals starting the song?? (no joke, when he started singing more and not just rapping, it felt like there was a whole new member's vocals in there; they're such a contrast to his usual and so angelic). this feels like another 'lego batman movie' track in the way it makes me feel so nostalgic and comforted; this song feels like watching a montage of their biggest, happiest moments and I FEEL SO PROUD OF THEM. i've been with them for so long, and know it's gonna take the world to stop me for me to leave.

'jjam' - I KNOW, YOU KNOW, LEE KNOW?? thank you skz for keeping that joke alive!! i know that the 'megaverse' and 'freeze' enthusiasts are going to lose their mind over this. ill admit, i don't usually listen to this kind of music since i find i have to be in a specific mood for it, but this would HIT SO HARD when i need it to. also only stray kids could write a song about condiments and make it slap so hard; part of me was expecting it to just mean 'jam' in the music sense and not necessarily literally but i love them using a double meaning. i was expecting a track similar to 'ssick' (because of the double first letter) but it's super different and i actually love that. slapped.

'chk chk boom festival ver' - LMAO NOT THE CLUB REMIX but on a serious note this does absolutely eat with the style of the song, skz are always very good at picking the right style of a remix to do for their songs (unlike producers that spam remix albums that sound so cheap COUGH 'one spark remixes' COUGH 'smart remixes' COUGH 'moonlight sunrise remixes') like this and the rock ver of 'lalalala' both work very well in their albums and this would go hard at a rave (acting as if ive been lmao) !!

The Decline of the Anniversary Events, Part 2

2022 didn't actually have a singular anniversary event, per say.

It experienced a series of Re-mix events, the first one being in April instead of the archives event.

Personally, this really pissed me off at the time. The achieves event is my absolute fave event, and it also always happens on my Birthday. It was something I looked forward to, and then they just... stopped doing the event. No explanation. Nothing.

Instead they gave us this 'you can copy my homework, but change it slightly so no one knows' event collection.

Literally nobody asked for this. Nobody. They're not original skins just crappier versions of the originals. I'll put the originals below so you can see what I mean.

Personally, I think the originals are much better than the re-mixes. What makes it worse in my opinion though, it that some skins they chose to re-mix already had two colour variants. So, they end up giving one skin, THREE different colour pallets.

I also hate how they white wash all the colour from the originals skins in this re-mix event.

So, not only have we not gotten any original skins, they're not even amazing recolours either. There aren't any suitable changes, just a colour pallet wash. So lazy.

And before anyone says, it's because they were busy with OW2, busy doing what? OW2 feels like it has less content than OW1 and the only visible differences are the UI and the missing second tank.

To make this event even worse, they recycled special event challenges for the weekly challenges.

As a long time player, I already had all of these, and the only new content I got were a few sprays.

Needless to say, I was livid.

The re-release of these skins was so badly executed. It was completely unfair to any player who already had these skins and Blizzard didn't even try very hard to provide new content.

Just remembering it now makes me feel petty.

The next Re-mix happened mid next month and lasted until June.

Once again they just released re-mixed skins, but worse this time.

These were the re-mixed skins, now I'll show you the originals.

What makes these ones worse in my opinions, aside from the horrible colour schemes, is that fact that they chose two skins that already had two colour pallets. There are so, so, so, many skins in the game, why chose two more that already have a twin skin?!

Then once again they 're-wind' or recycle (as I like to call it) previous special events.

Like I love the Mercy and Sigma skin, but please Blizzard I unlocked them when they came out.

I understand you want the newer players to have a chance to unlock them, but please, please, please, reward us consistent players with something new.

Chapter 33 - thoughts.

Hello everyone!! I'm here... again... after disappearing for like 2 weeks lol.

Allot of things happened, between my birthday, surprise visits, me getting sick, me getting sick again, and con's... yeah, I was quite busy (and good thing I postponed the next update lol am I jinxing myself tho?) but I didn't forget writing them notes!!!

I'm sorry it took a while for me to post them, but they're finally here! They're quite short since there isn't much for me to expand on this chapter :> (which you can find over here.... hehe) but I still hope you find them interesting!

Per usual, this post has spoilers so I recommend reading the chapter first, unless you want to get spoilers with no context lol. Also, this is briefly, (mainly not) proofread so I apologize for any mistakes 😭

Now, without any further ado, here are the notes!

As some chapters in the past, I had some issues figuring out what I wanted for an introduction.

I already knew what points I wanted to cover, but there are moments where I have issues connecting those points, so after a while thinking about it, I finally decided to go with the one thing I had talked about in the past, but never really show, that being: Y/N’s letters to Hinata!

Now, it goes without saying that these letters had to be treated carefully since Y/N is meant to be locked away from the world and all that stuff. So, there wasn’t much to be written in that sense, Y/N wouldn’t go ahead to literally write down all of the things she had gone through while on the estate.

Of course, that soon changed when she began to feel some kind of cathartic release while writing them, as well as a feigned sensation that she was actually speaking to Hinata.

 Going back to those letters after I was done writing them was bittersweet. After knowing all that happened all I could think of is “NO, THAT’S NOT TRUE AT ALL!!” 😭😭😭 (on the fabricated ones right) and the way that Y/N was trying so hard to act as if she was living a normal life, like she was contacting her sister as she always did because they couldn’t meet due to her job… ☹ It’s nothing but a lie, a longing for a happy life, in a happy marriage, maybe where Naoya wasn’t her husband but instead anyone else lol.

Ugh, he’s a terrible, poor excuse for a human being. I’m excited for next chapter 😊

Anyways, I added a few details I thought would fit Y/N’s personality, how she would normally “text”, for example, kaomoji’s. It might be a bit… redundant I guess, but it’s the small things that help remind me she’s just 18, super young and already having gone through all this. (Also the first letter made me think that maybe I’m being too serious/dramatic with certain conversations, you know? Like chill, that’s your sister you’re talking/writing to lol)

My favorite letter would have to be the “I hate Naoya” one, inspired by a segment found in the Twilight saga, specifically on New Moon, right after Edward leaves Bella and there’s just chapters that only October, November, that kind of stuff. At one point I was tempted to upload a chapter that only said “I hate Naoya” over and over again and call it a day 😂 (I would’ve posted the rest of the chapter immediately after, but damn … I just might do that later on)

When doing the final editing on the ao3 page, just to check how the chapter was going to look published, I was very surprised to see that segment wasn’t very long… I ended up extending a few “I hate Naoya’s” just because, but I still wasn’t satisfied, considering it was one whole page on my google doc, but I think it still got the point across lol.

From there, the other thing that I wanted to show (and the one that seems to have yall divided 🤭) is Naoaki! And how their dynamic has changed. The staff and Ranta have stated that the two (mostly Naoaki tho) had become a bit bolder with their interactions, and I wanted to show just what they were doing for them to come to that conclusion—cause we’ve seen how they be acting inside closed doors AMIRITE? AAHHAHA

This part was particularly… well, I don’t know if hard is the right word, but I was heavily debating whether to write it in or not because, (I think I stated this before) I don’t want to cross certain lines with the two just yet. This is a Naoya/Reader fic at the end of the day, and reader being with someone else that’s not of the main pairing is…. Well, idk how to say it, a trope that if not handled carefully might sour the story for me lol.

Ahhh, I still want the harem experience though 😂 I can’t seem to understand myself. We’ll see.

My initial notes portrayed Naoaki to be a bit more insistent on the… you know, implications given throughout the whole the grape feeding thing. I supposed it made sense he’d want something more since the two had been going at it for a while, however, I do not think he would’ve been that adamant after her initial rejection.

Sure, he’s been a bit more comfortable with her as days went by and there’s many things that already happened between the two to build a stronger trust, but this specific desire might be a bit too much in this context, so he respected her decision and stopped insisting.

Also, let’s be real, Y/N has too much in her mind to go through with it. She might think of it, cause she’s human at the end of the day and who doesn’t like being doted by a nice, kind and handsome person???, but all that Naoya has done to her is still taking a toll on her.

I haven’t explored much about this topic, but most sexual acts disgust her at this point—it brings her back to the moments she was absolutely miserable with him. So yeah, at least for now, we can rest knowing Naoaki and Y/N are occupied thinking of other things (for now, for now mwahahah)

From there, Mariya’s secret makes its return. It’s here that I realized this is probably the most Mariya has spoken of her relationship with anyone outside her parents (More on that later) thus… it’s only natural that someone would overhear of it eventually.

All things considered, perhaps Hitomi being the one to hear about this wasn’t as bad as literally anyone else, but it’s the emotional value of their connection that worries her!! Hitomi is very… strict when it comes to following the rules, looking up to Mariya as a role model because of such thing—she wishes to have her work ethic, her determination… And Mariya knows that. It’s why she feared telling anyone from her close coworkers to begin with.

Haruko would be somewhat ok with her having a relationship with a fellow employee, after overcoming her surprise of course, since she never, ever, imagined Mariya would break the rules lol. At the end, I imagine both sisters would be very supportive of her, just… not right away.

I find it funny how Hitomi was quick to become suspicious of Mariya as soon as Tatsuro was mentioned. It’s not the first time she’s heard her talk of a man, but rather… her use a tone that would be comparable to excitement. Now THAT’S suspicious.

But she’s unable to confront her since there really isn’t evidence of anything, it’s all in her mind right now. Also, Mariya isn’t known for being a so… yeah, still, very funny indeed. What do you think? Think she’s going to find out who Tatsuro is to Mariya? Or will that remain a secret 👀? (I don’t want Hitomi to know… I fear the reaction she’ll have :’) I actually wanted to develop more that whole scenario in this chapter, but it was getting a bit too long so I decided to postpone it ahaha)

Moving to something happier, Hitomi preparing Y/N a gift because she’s super thankful of her sweets?! Ajkajkgajkjga Her and her sister really couldn’t get any sweeter…. I want them to be happy, just go with Hinata and leave all this shit behind. 😭

Aw man, now I want to write something with all of them together, explore what kind of dynamics they would have and all that. (Well, I do have some pending one-shots… so who knows?)

Honestly these scenes are just excuses for me to live my slice-of-life, fluff fantasy in this nightmare I have written lol.

Now lastly, but not least… the mystery that plagued the last chapter… what the hell was Naoya doing the moment he briefly left Y/N on the record store? We only see him shove something in his pocket, but what is it?

Well, now it’s finally revealed… the thing he was hiding in his pocket was… a receipt! For the things that eventually got delivered to her :> Guess Naoya did pay attention to what Y/N was saying after all, although there’s another motive behind those gifts that will be revealed in the future. Oof, excited for what’s to come.

Y/N’s reaction regarding the discs was something I was the one thing I knew had to be in the chapter, if anything, all was written around that particular detail, there’s no doubt about that.

The way her reaction happened was the only way I envisioned it going down honestly 😂 blatant anger seemed to be… a bit too on the nose I guess, but if you think about it horror sometimes starts from there— So yeah, I couldn’t see her reacting any other way: Naoya has been nothing but piece of trash since they got married, and suddenly he cares for her and what she has to say? Naaahhhh.

It felt like a mockery to her, a way for him to taint whatever good memories she had of her family, so yeah. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sad that she’s unable to react any other way 😣 wishing she wouldn’t have to get emotionally exhausted all the time, but in a place where she’s constantly attacked by everyone around her, and without the appropriate guidance to deal with her emotions, a completely different environment to the one she grew in… yeah, Y/N’s doing the best she can I guess.

Y/N’s decision (or more like approval via Mariya) regarding the relocation of the discs is one we’ll see further developed immediately in the next chapter, how it will affect her relationship with Naoya, as well as what he was doing during these days they didn’t speak to one another!

I’m really excited to post the next chapter, it’s one that I’ve been literally dreaming about!! I just hope I’ll be able to deliver. Agajkgvjkagja!!!!

Anyways, these are the notes I have for this chapter! They’re quite short, since it was straightforward and settled down some points that will affect the future of the story and I don’t think there is much for me to say outside what inspired me, but if there’s something I missed out on please let me know! 1) Game — Reverse 1999 : : (uninstall Enstar for this)

Reinstall this game bcs my tl sometimes show me r1999 stuff and it feeds my urge to play it. I installed this game when there was like 3 days left bfore their annv update, Windsong banner. Mcm biasa, gacha game got that returnee missions n stuff. I played bit of Windsong's story: abt a researcher conducts a leyline field research at a tiny snowy town. I don't really remember the plot of main story, so need to watch some recap on yt.

Gosh i forgot how beautiful this game artstyle is, and the ui too??? Whenever i play the story, i felt like crying like damn gorgeous art they need to release artbook fr.

Im speedrunning this game okayy,, reached player level 30, leveled up 6 of my characters (Sonetto, Dikke, APPle, Lucy, Getian, Bloodbourn) to Insight II, 2 episodes for main story, settled the beginner mission etc etc. Also new 6 stars characters i got so far are Windsong, Lucy, Getian (from annv banner), Toothfairy, Sotheby, Regulus, Ezra in span of 50 pulls honestly im tweaking (OKAYY HELP wtf is going on?? ). Omg i did so much. Finished Penacony's main story, Ruan Mei's story (I hate that damn bug with passion) , Topaz's story and otw Wardance's story. Kafka is considered fully build for me (my woman hitting that 45k raw burst dmg on average), half- build Jingyuan, Pela, tralblazer, robin etc. Istg building characters in hsr is actually diabolical it takes at least 2 months per character,, 240 resins per day is not enough. Especially to farm those damn relics.

Number one is Succession because it was just deluxe on all levels: writing, acting, score, production, just great. And a finale that sunk the earth beneath my feet.

I think March was a very fun month, so many cute moments with my bf and friends, nice weather, the feeling of revival was overwhelming.

10. Something that made you cry this year?

To be honest I didn't cry much this year, not as much as in other years at least. Missing my best friend was probably a consistent reason for crying. Even at the beach I was emotional and in need of her presence.

11. Something you want to do again next year?

Meet my best friend :) this time I have a gift for her too. And I wanna knit her a little alien. I want to spend more time with her, this time just us and more than an afternoon. Maybe have a little weekend getaway somewhere, like my bf and I did for our first anniversary.

12. Talk about a new friend you made this year

Not a particular friend per se, but my manager has been working very hard and consistently on bringing us closer as a team; she's been making these groups and stuff, trying to make us befriend each other more, making the dynamic of our work team more informal. I really appreciate that, it's been so fun connecting with my coworkers and discovering their personalities. They're so likable in their own unique ways and my lovely Aquarius manager has been amazing at uniting us a lot more this year.

13. How was your birthday this year?

My boyfriend RAN to the store a couple minutes before midnight (cause we'd been out all day and then napped, and he didn't have time to stock up in advance) and bought me a mini cake which he stabbed with a lit up joint so I could have a candle to make a birthday wish 💀 it was so funny and sweet and it made me so happy. And he got me a piggy plushie I had seen in a store window and pointed out to him just DAYS before my birthday (the day before we passed by that store again and it was gone; I didn't say anything but it DID get me thinking) and now I squeeze it against my chest at night. And we went to the mall and looked around the toy store, and ate ice cream by the lake. It was really lovely and I was straight up glowing

Umm smoking cigarettes in social circumstances? I mean it's by no means a new habit, but this year it's gotten worse because my work bestie has been getting me out of the house plenty! I've given it back up easily cause it was so poisonous, but that's cause I've been away from smokers in general for some time. I need to get back into chewing a ton of gum. I need to become gum girl again

I find it hard to pinpoint a specific thing I learned this year, but I think I remembered and realized more things about my past, which is maybe ironic and counterintuitive. That includes my family's past, my past in relation to other people, I've managed to sharpen the lens of the past even more than I could before. And it's constantly mesmerizing and ridiculous at the same time, it makes me feel like Shauna playing with Jackie's frozen corpse, trying to breathe some life into something that's already dead

21. What’s something new about your place of residence (room, home, or general location) now vs the start of the year?

I have this new comforter that really cozies up my bedroom and I even started paying more attention to my bed (making it more carefully, not leaving it unmade for too long, matching the fabrics and stuff as best as I can) ever since I got it. And I also got these colorful lights hanging above my bed, my mirror, and my bedroom door that I put up "for christmas" (they're halloween-themed but whatever, I wanted lights in my room) that I'm definitely keeping up.

My bf, friend, and I went on a really long walk one day this year; we walked through the cemetery and then kept on walking further around the neighborhood. It was a long adventure and it tired us out but such a nice day together, we got soda and candy afterwards and walked back home. I miss having days like that

Hmm I've never really thought about it before, but let's have a go. Bear in mind none of this is based on facts or evidence, just my dumb brain😅

Merlin likes birds, and maybe that's ironic, but I feel like he's one of those people that birds just... land on; they're not scared of him at all. Robins, pigeons, crows, bigger things like ravens and hawks, they all just love him. And he loves them, maybe because he envies them a little bit? Everyone wants to know what it's like to fly, and birds just... do it, it's all they do. Once everything has settled and he goes out on dragon rides, with other people or not, he always makes Kilgharrah/Aithusa just glide around among the flocks of birds and it's his de-stress activity.

Arthur is a horse girl. No I will not elaborate.

I'm just kidding, of course I'll elaborate. He has a huge amount of respect for the horses he rides, he knows how hard they work, how brave they are, how hard it is to train them. He finds looking after them soothing, and he knows that if you respect a horse and treat it well, it will serve you well in return.

Gwaine came across river otters in his travels, and he never stops talking about how they're the coolest and cutest things he's ever seen (kinda like Merlin). Gwen sewed him an otter soft-toy she copied out of a book one year for his birthday and he almost cried. He just thinks they're neat.

I'm inclined to say that Percival is also a horse girl buuuuut. Man likes rats. He's a rat man. Or just rodents in general I guess, anytime the kitchens have a problem with mice they call Sir Percival in and he catches them and cleans them up and feeds them for a few days before taking them out into the meadows beyond the city walls to release them. It's always an emotional affair.

Leon is a dog person through and through!! Like birds are heavily pulled to Merlin, dogs are all over Leon. Maybe it's the shaggy hair, maybe it's the fact that he's basically a golden retriever in human form, but any and all dogs the gang come across IMMEDIATELY pull their owners over to play with Leon and the guy LOVES it. He looks after the hunting dogs even though he doesn’t have to, and the gang scrape together to get him a puppy one Christmas (they call it something stupid like Camelot, or Honour. Gwaine tries to call it Arthur the First (and better) but Lancelot said no) and he sobs.

Elyan likes snaaaaaakes. When travelling, he never stayed in one place too long except over winter, when he'd set up a temporary little forge in whatever village/town he found himself in. Or he'd help out at the local one in exchange for a bed. Either way he'd be holed up in a VERY warm building and they always had to be so careful because every pipe, every crate, every vent, every nook and cranny, would have sleepy little snakes in it if they weren't careful. He thinks they're really cool and clever and it also helps with intimidating arsehole clients if he has a snake coiled around his neck or wriggling in his hands.

Lancelot. Hmm. Yet another horse girl me thinks. But also cats. But the like... half feral outside cats that will occasionally wander into your home to sniff things and sit on things and generally be in the way, and then leave again. He's weirded out by them because they always seem like they know more than an animal should, but he thinks they're cool and regal looking. He nods respectfully at every cat he passes when with the others, but if unsupervised he will spend hours making smoochy smoochy noises to try and make friends with the local cats, all of whom completely ignore him.

Gaius also likes cats, but it's more of a respect thing? Cats know what they're about and they chase away rodents, that's all Gaius needs.

Gwen!!! Likes rabbits!!! Elyan's snakes always make her jump (she's not... scared of them, per se, but she's not overly fond) and Leon's dogs are just too... hyperactive, she can't be running around with a dog with the amount of fucking layers she has to wear as a woman. But bunnies are cute and fluffy and whenever Merlin finds one he always brings it to her for a quick snuggle before he takes it out into the fields again (how he keeps finding them in the city, Gwen has no clue).

Druids spend a lot of time in the woods, so I feel like Mordred has an adorable fascination with foxes or something. Urban foxes, the ones that sneak into the city at night to snatch babies and dig through rubbish, are horrible, but the timid country ones are amazing. So smart, and quiet, but they can get aggressive if you threaten their home. He just thinks they're really cool and he was bitterly disappointed to find that the ones that roam Camelot's cobbled streets after dark are... not friendly, they're just arseholes.

Homegirl Morgana like cats also, but house cats. You know, the really friendly, cuddly, affectionate ones. Cats kind of ignore Lancelot, despite his love, but they flock to Morgana no matter their original temperament. They're warm, and soft, but they have sharp claws, and Morgana appreciates that, especially when the cat Arthur snuck in to the castle for her when they were children would curl up on her pillow and purr when she had nightmares.

Is it too much to ask what brushes you use for your art? They're just so pretty and blocky and I can't for the life of me find good replicants.

(Love your art, by the way. I've been meaning to study your style for a while now and your colouring pages are perfect for it.)

Of course! All the brushes that I use are free, because I'm cheap and also because I couldn't figure out the payments methods inside of CSP, but I did pay for the program I use (clip studio paint) so this only works for CSP unless the artist released them on some other programs:

I play a lot with the width of the brush so I don't actually use that many, just these 2 that are kinda new for me:

The first one is really dense so I like to set it really small to use as liner for small but dark details

The second one it's a funny one because it's actually really sensitive to pressure, you can go from really faint to really strong color and that can feel weird however with a bit of care you can get a constant pressure, but I really like it because of that!!! You can get some really neat translucent efects because it overlaps and it's really sharp! I also used them for Remys birthday drawing,

For stuff like this however:

I really like these three, which I actually think are default brushes on CSP, in case they are not I can share the brush file and it's really easy to install but I'm pretty sure they are, names might be different tho because mine is in spanish but there are simply "tempera paint", "fine brush" and "oil"

I really like the "tempera" because it has so much texture!!! but also can look really smooth depending on how much pressure you use and also it's easy to mix with other colors (in the right side I'm mixing with another color)

Meanwhile Oil I like it for sketching or for really rough looks (like in logan's lines here)

Basically I use the same 3/4 brushes per piece but I change the width and stuff a couple of times,

My style is actually really messy, so I lean into brushes that have a lot of texture and these are some of my current favorites, I also reached the limit of 10 pictures on a single post so I might continue on a reblog with the pencil ones that I like.....which are also mainly default brushes (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*.✧

I'm not only cheap but I'm also kind of lazy about looking for new brushes, only when I see an art style that really looks like it's using a very specific brush that I don't have, but it's really fun when I download new brushes, it feels like buying new art materials, just plain fun!!!

I made a post at some point where the then-current colony queen Grubbenvorst was at a birthday party, thought it was a fun picture and never bothered to change it since.

Why did you choose your header?

I spent dozens of minutes on the hood icon for Planet Birch, I'd better use it!

Hate them. I feel like they've gotten less prominent so they feel sort of vintage now, but still hate them. Or maybe I've just curated my feed to have fewer people that reblog those? Idk man.

I love being tagged, but I don't have a good idea on which people I'm on good enough terms with to tag them so I don't like tagging people. Which I feel is part of the problem in getting tagged rarely.

Anyone else besides me find it odd that R2 or J2 promoted the Then and Now podcast? R2 shared the press release. Jared had to defend/tweet. (Ackles silent per usual). Just thought they would support a spin off product, that they were a part of. Did the reality of the writer choice taint their excitement? Really surprised at Ackles. The man wants to own the supernatural legacy and didn’t even acknowledge this project at all, even when he’s in it. (It’s boring as hell. But that’s not the point).

It's funny, Jensen could go online and make a birthday post for Dean, but couldn't be bothered to promote the podcast? However, I have noticed a bit of a trend lately, particularly with the Inside of You podcast. Jensen didn't post about that until hours after it had dropped and people had started responding online. Once he did promote it, he included a 'disclaimer' that he was under the influence. He hasn't been smart about a lot of things lately, but I do believe that waiting to see what the online response is before he adds his own response is pretty smart. Seeing the mess over Jessica, it's probably best to just stay out of it completely. Heck, even Jared chimed in and it didn't help.

R2 is probably thinking the same way. Seeing the backlash and deciding to stay silent is the best move at this point. I certainly wouldn't want to be posting anything knowing that the majority of replies I'd be getting would be "Fire Jessica". The fact that StoryMill Media stated they're looking to make some changes based on feedback is very telling. Maybe once those changes are made, we'll get some additional promotion. But at this point, the less said online, the less vitriol the actors are going to get if or until Jessica is fired.
