So I'm sending this here instead of the other blog because it's not *actually* incest but I feel like it's worth mentioning nonetheless. Actress who plays Phoebe Thunderman is either engaged or married to (I'm not quite sure) to someone named Max, like her twin from the show. And I know it's most likely just coincidence and whatnot but as someone who adores Phoebe and Max, I can't help but to feel like it makes them ever so slightly more canon.

I didn't know that, that's so fun!

have you heard about the thundermans spinoff? max and phoebe go undercover in a new town with chloe, who they are going to “raise” together ??? after the sequel movie didn’t give much max/phoebe shipping content, I can’t believe we’re getting a spinoff like this…they really said how do we give them a child without giving them a child

I had no idea.

Here's a news article about it I just found. It says the movie did really well, viewing-numbers wise.

I've got such a soft spot for Billy and Nora that I can't help but be a little disappointed they're not going to be in it as regulars, but Max/Phoebe essentially raising Chloe is delightful.

I didn't do a review of the movie because I didn't have much to say. It was family-focused with no love interests, which I really appreciated, and Max and Phoebe were still living at home, so that was all great in a general way, but there weren't any specific moments I wanted to comment on.

I was disappointed to see Billy and Nora excited to go to high school and make new friends, since they had always been inseparable, but it all blew up in their faces, so that was OK, and it was great to see them get to interact at an older age. But the movie didn't really carry forward their dynamic from the show. Oh well.

Not having to keep their powers a secret really changes some of what was so fundamentally shippy about the sibling relationships.

Let's just hope love interests in the new show will pass as quickly, if not more so, than they did in the first run.

Why Marse isn’t Incest, A Short Essay.

In the specific case of Lab Rats, Marse not being incest is believing in Alternative Canon/Alternative universe. Just because they say something in a show doesn’t mean that fanfiction needs to completely align with canon. I wouldn’t ship an actual sibling pair, that’s gross.

Well who decided that it was incest? if it was incest there wouldn't be at least 20 fics with that ship on fanfiction(.)net, it's hard to tell because FFN only added the pairing definition thing after Lab Rats was already established as a fandom. And 18 fics with that pairing on archive of our own, including one that just got posted this month.

You can't bully someone just because you don't like their ship. It's not my only ship. But it's dumb that you guys are bullying people when everyone has different beliefs about how the rats were created.

Marcus was an android in canon, and in an AU where he's human and Douglas' didn't use his own DNA to make him, and in either universe Marcus wasn't raised with the rats.

A) Marcus is an android.

B) Marcus never acknowledged the ABC being his siblings, just Daniel.

C) So logically, Douglas only used his own DNA to create Daniel, and Marcus wasn’t raised with the rats so not only are they NOT genetically related but Marcus was not raised with the rats so it isn’t incest even if the rats being raised together makes the rats times each other incest.

D) If it was actually incest, there would not have been Marse fanfics from the beginning. Yes I realise that people are fucked up but most of the fics in the fandom are from kids/teens that were watching the show at the time not disgusting adults.

F) You should be attacking the Thundermans fandom for all the Thundercest, not a ship that PEOPLE HAVE HEADCANONS/ALTERNATE CANON/THEIR OWN AUS SPECIFICALLY TO MAKE IT NOT INCEST.

FANFICTION DOES NOT HAVE TO FOLLOW CANON IT CAN BE WHATEVER YOU WANT IT TO BE. IF I SAY THAT THEY ARE NOT SIBLINGS/COUSINS IN MY UNIVERSE THEB THEY ARE NOT SIBLINGS/COUSINS.
