Silent Night. WIP. Part II
One of the participants from the American Armed Forces is Lena Oxton, a British Army Volunteer for US Army, she was stationed in the 29th Army Division led by Gen. Charles Gerhardt. She is appointed as the commander for M4A1 Sherman Medium Tank, she called the tank as “Tracer.” With its 75mm M3 L/40 gun, a Sherman could destroy one Tiger tank from 500 meters, but it also counts as a suicide mission. A Tiger tank could kill a Sherman from 1.000 meters away, 500 meters farther than Sherman’s effective range of fire. Lena didn’t fear the Tiger, although the Tiger is more reliable than her Sherman, she does not fear for what of her outcome in the end.
“Boys, what do you think about Tiger tank?” She asked from the internal communication system.
“Ma’am, I told you that Tiger is one hell of a fearsome tank. We’re done before we even shoot a shell from this machine.” Lt. Abraham Folley replied her most capable British tank gunner from the North African campaign, later stationed in 29th Army Division with Lena.
“Fooly’s right, Ma’am. Any strategy to take it out quickly?” Sgt. Charles “Charlie” Rumboldt, the assistant driver, asked Lena.
Here’s the ongoing Part II, still counts as @sirhate ‘s challenge I took several days or weeks ago.
It’s about to explode, I think.
Things I like to clarify:
1. I hope I get the firing range right
2. Salutation to those who served the WWII within the 29th Army Division.
