maybe the worst take possible to have on this website but i actually don't really understand the desire some folks have to see their favorite characters injured and bloody and whatnot. not judging at all bc it's not my place to, obviously, i just... don't understand it i guess. usually when i like a character i generally want to see them happy. maybe i'm the weird one for that idk

the idea that most people playing investigations rn are playing it with the hd graphics makes me a little sad,,, the CHARM of the pixel sprites really is what sells me hard on the graphics of AAI and i fear the hd graphics just really lack that charm

can you draw william getting hit over the head like that one panel from the silver eyes comic. that would be funny i think :3c
IbispaintX released a new filter called 'retro game' and I had ALOT of fun messing with it on this drawing bxkzbxks. I ended up liking the filtered version way more! So here it is, complete with a little dialogue box. It reminds me of point n click games. Like a really saturated clocktower, or DotT
I imagine a really specific voice saying the "ouch" but I could not possibly put it into words
.
And here's the original!
I'd be surprised if he didn't get a concussion from this!
And, some bonuses :]c I remember the tse graphic novel having Alot of bright yellow rim lighting but when I looked though it I could?? Barely find any??? So anyway here's a bright yellow rim lighting version bdjsndks
(w a bonus pic of the graphic novel)

mostly im wondering what the divide between people making simple slides versus using pre-made templates with background art and those little icons you copy and paste out.
In my classics dept. we all just use basic templates - i was the exciting one for using the colorful default powerpoint options. Then in my art history classes i keep being in group projects with people who always use downloaded pre-made templates for google slides with complicated formatting and art.

Kids these days are gonna end up making their weird images with AI, instead of coming up with the idea themselves, and Photoshopping it like God intended.
If Adobe hadn't made itself so expensive, and the free equivalents weren't comparably mediocre, we wouldn't be quite in this position.
