[Drillet Doods #1] Hotspring Bath

Créme & Mousse got themselves quite dirty playing in mud. You decided to kill two birds with one stone and clean up with the drillets so you could all relax in the hot spring you found earlier. it certainly feels heavenly after getting a break from your other kids (read; your squadron).

This initially was supposed to be a simple doodle on how our resident human and the drillets were doin' but then the new update for Ovenbreak came out and welp, hot spring scene it is!

Anyhow, one thing's for sure; they're certainly doin' alright.

I always thought I was lazy. Then I worked a job where everyone is the definition of an adult man who can't clean up after himself. Everyone somehow misses the garbage and then just walks away without picking it up. Twice today I saw someone throw away dog shit in the EXAM ROOMS. you're not supposed to fucking do that because now it SMELLS. Take your lazy ass to the outside garbage designated for it. And then lately every god damn day I've been walking in on someone who didn't flush. And I know it's a guy cause the piss is dark fucking yellow and there's NEVER any toilet paper in there with it

thoughts on the new chapter?

haven't seen the translation yet.

I'm aware some places already have it, but I'm waiting for drunk bath salt to translate. It's a dear tradition at this point, I love their fan translations.

but from the raws? I have mixed feelings. One thing really really bothers me tho, so i'll talk about it.

Tsukasa destroy Kako

Mystery No.1 have been hyped as one of the strongest for a while, and Tsukasa is on their boundary. With a guilty seal on him. He shouldn't be able to do this.

"but he destroyed mystery no.3 in his boundary, so it is consistent, tsukasa have always been strong!" you may say, but i don't think is the same playing field, at all.

No.3 is a boundary that changes the level of danger depending on who is in it, to the point Hanako was scared of entering to rescue Nene, at risk of putting her in further danger, and Tsukasa attacked when it was taking shape after nene, whose biggest fear was being called a radish at the time... not a very scary, deep, or powerful fear

But the audacity to say this:

On a manga where time has been important since forever only to have Kako be defeated in the very next chapter, after what looks like an overall pretty light-hearted chapter makes me angry.

Again, I don't have the full translation, so while I'm inclined to dislike it for now, my opinion can change.

... I am not very hopeful though. It makes me believe we will have the same issue as the arc of Aoi's rescue: "shock for the value of shock, the consequences/payoff are an afterthought to the big reveals"

and I hope that fear becomes unfounded but... I do have this fear.

Adopting a new cat is hard and EXTREMELY draining so I’m so happy you’re happy!!! This motherfucker day TWO had clawed a hole in the carpet of his quarantine room, taken chunks out of the door for fun, smelled just terrible and hunted down the only piece of chocolate in the entire house to eat it while i was asleep. I don’t even know where it came from it was Christmas themed and we were in March. He’s fine though!

The wet food was a good call! And I’m glad you saw your cat was so happy about it, it sounds like their foster or previous owner might have expected them to be more like a dog? Maybe more self sufficient?? WRONG cats are two year olds. Keep us updated, I love your cat posts!
