today's thinking thought is s8 married bucktommy, who started out so slowly so carefully but also all-in from the get go and it just makes sense for them to get married pretty soon into their relationship.

buck's always been the rash, impatient one and tommy's the cool headed pragmatic one but they balance each other out, not only does tommy bring steadiness and safety to buck's inner whirlwindy spiraling but buck also enables tommy to be more spontaneous, to see the good in living here and now with full speed, to make the best of every moment. 

so they get married because they know they're it for each other early on, why would they wait. now what i really want is for them to be challenged by life and circumstances as husbands, life partners, to have that safety to explore the difficulties thrown in their way, together. learn things about themselves and life together, to try just that much harder when things get tough, because they're chose each other til death do them part.

tonight has been such a great show of how the fans see c!Dream. the language surrounding him is dehumanizing, in the story, he is the book, he is kept in a vault, he is a monster - c!Q and c!Sam are seconds from calling him it, and the fandom reflects so many of these views. he is not a person with feelings, he is a monster, a predator stalking its prey, an obssessed beast. not human, never human with his very own motivations and goals and dreams who plans for something more. he never wans things for a reason that could not be seen as selfish desire, he is evil personified.

but the moment the language around him, by others in the story, the people who hold power over him reflect the lack of humanity that he should be granted, suddenly it is impossible to strip him of this human side. no, he cannot be in a vault, vault is for objects (like the revive book that everyone sees him as).

he is granted only as much humanity as people think he deserves to be punished further

There’s something so eerie yet perfect about the way Lena Hall sings the song Angry Inch

On one hand, unlike to AMAB actors who have played Hedwig, she doesn’t have the experience of having a dick so one could assume it would be harder to imagine it being taken away. But the thing that’s so strange is that there’s something about the way she sings that song that makes it feel like she truly gets Hedwig.

She plays the song with a burning anger rather than the usual choice by Hedwig actors to be making light of the situation (I laugh, because I will cry if I don’t), it’s like she’s tapping into all the frustration of Being A Woman and weaving THAT into the performance instead. That’s just a theory: idk what part of herself tapping into but it’s SO, SO working.

in conclusion lena hall has made it to my top 3 Hedwig portrayals.

Steve with one of those fake babies that cry for home ect class, except that it’s not his baby or he doesn’t even take that class. It’s Tommy and Carol’s baby. They just don’t want to take care of it and Steve feels bad when it cries.
