The absolute visceral urge to play with Gale's hair. I love beautiful, well-maintained hair anyway, it's been like that ever since I can remember. I love love love running my fingers through a significant other's hair, I love the feeling and the texture, I love to brush it, and even help them wash it, and the current brainrot isn't making it any better.
I bet Gale would have the smoothest, silkiest hair you could imagine. This man keeps himself as clean as the circumstances allow, so he probably takes really good care of it, and I just wanna do that for him. I want to take a bath with him, climb into his lap, and just give him the best hair wash and head massage he's ever had until he was moaning and sighing from relaxation, and the fact that I can't do that should be considered a human rights violation.

i love reading medieval literature because it will be like "here is a knight that has lived in the woods absolutely stark raving mad out of his mind eating dirt for three years. we are not unpacking all that. anyways the next day he decides to go on a journey of redemption after gaining momentary mental clarity and now he is using the stupidest moniker known to man and now he's fighting a giant." and this all happens in the span of like 50 lines.

The way the Crescent City males are unafraid to cry and to say I love you to each other. And how they constantly check in on each other and ask if they're ok like really ok. They are just the ultimate in non toxic masculinity. Just the most beautiful men inside and out

The table top rpg from the first bakura arc in the early yugioh manga is so wacky if you try to think about it as a real game.
like the game uses percentile die which in the age of dnd cultural hegemony it's funny that Kazuki Takahashi's image of generic ttrpg in the 90s was a d100 system and not a d20 system. And also the ONLY dice roll is d100 which seems like a lot and very swingy for an other wise really simple seeming game. On the same topic of mechanics that are A Lot for a basic game there are random encounter rolls Every Turn with a 30% chance of a monster encounter immediately outside of the first town and that goes up 80% when they get to a forest which both seem crazy high.
There's also a ton of stuff that we never actually get rules for, like there are stats but it's unclear what they do and damage rolls and movement are never discussed at all. Additionally the player class and race lists which get dropped at the start in a could of charts have some wild stuff in them.
I dont know that ive ever wanted to play an rpg class as bad as i want to play a diabolist.

I wonder if Gale ever felt genuinely loved in his life. Of course there's his mom, and there's Tara, but has he ever had a romantic partner who made him feel like he mattered? Like he was enough? Like they truly loved him?
Because none of y'all are gonna convince me he felt that way with Mystra. She made him feel special, sure, not everyone gets to be a god(dess)'s chosen. She may have even made him feel desired in a... let's say sensual way, because would there even be a way for their relationship to be carnal?
Anyway, he states in his dialogue that Tav isn't the first mortal being he's been intimate with, but as far as I understand, Mystra scouted him out when he was still rather young. They probably didn't become lovers immediately. He did say she was his muse first, after all. But there's a reasonable chance that even during his very first relationships, Mystra was already hovering over him somewhere, so he might not have been able to fully commit himself to whatever mortal he was with at the time, which is, of course, not her fault alone, but she's had an influence in it.
So yeah, I honestly don't think that Gale ever had a partner he felt that warm kind of love with that he feels with Tav.
Now excuse me while I'm washing the dust out of my eyes.
