A little bit of comfort for Moon

So, I haven't stopped seeing how people negatively compare New Moon to Old Moon. But honestly? I don't see it.

New Moon has done things much better than his other self. Best brother, friend, person.

After watching the video where he talks to Money (Monty lol), I noticed the way Money talks about Old Moon. Yes, he was a jerk, and he made mistakes again and again. But you know what? Moon had a friend next to him. Moon had Lunar and Sun next to him. Even with his mistakes, he had people who supported him and cared about him because they trusted that he could do things right if he did something right in time.

Currently, New Moon still has Sun by his side. Lunar, Monty, Earth, and he had (and I hope he continues to have) Solar by his side.

He is not the same person.

But he is the same Moon that his family and friends love.

So, in the good ways, it's him.

Despite everything, it's still him.

Honestly, I find it fascinating that Ruin helped Earth and Monty survive Bloodmoon's revenge plan!

When Monty was being tortured, and the force field keeping Earth in her jail cell suddenly went down, and allowed her to break out -- that was absolutely Ruin's doing. He kept his word to her, when he told her everything would work out if she trusted him!

I love that.

When Bloodmoon forced him to make a plan to kill Monty, Ruin agreed and said Monty could die for all he cares -- but now it's clear he was lying when he said that; he could have easily just let them and Earth get killed while focusing on his own escape, but no, the plan he created gave them a way to survive!

I've always believed Ruin was telling the truth, when he says he doesn't enjoy or WANT to kill other people (it's just a means to an end he's 100% fine with doing), especially after his apologize to Earth where he insisted that he didn't WANT to kill anyone anymore. So, it's interesting to see him actually putting his money where his mouth is in that instance, using his manipulation skills to keep other people from coming to harm.

(I'd also been thinking it'd be interesting if he used his master manipulator skills again in the future at some point preferably for good because I'd enjoy him getting some kind of redemption, and he did just that to outmaneuver Bloodmoon.)

It looks like the thought process went like this: Ruin knew Bloodmoon would do the opposite of whatever Monty chose. He needed MONTY to be the one who got tortured, because they can take a lot more physical damage than Earth can for a longer period of time, and Ruin needed that time/the right opportunity to disable the force field so Earth could enter security protocol and defeat Bloodmoon. That's why he made Earth convince Monty to choose HER, so that Bloodmoon would betray the deal and attack Monty instead. It was the best chance for the two to escape with their lives.

Clever clever.

I also made this cause a while ago in TSBS server I got into a sorta? Kinda? Argument of someone disagreeing and basically saying 'Lunar wouldn't lie' and ect. And I was salty so I made this post.

Why do you hate Monty? (Just curious)

Oh anon, you just opened Pandora's box... (Again, this is the second time it's been opened on this blog!!!)

Let's start with the first few days, okay?

Watching Monty steal money was fun, his dynamic with Old Moon was fun, when did it all start to go down the drain? When Earth arrived. And by this I don't mean that it's Earth's fault, not at all! She's just another victim of this alligator.

Monty, upon seeing her, the first thing he said to her was "mommy" even though Earth showed his displeasure about it. He continually followed her around the place to ask her out (even after she told him that she wasn't interested in that at the moment). He gaslighted her and lied to her until she agreed to go on a date with him.

And after that, Monty, to this day, continues to lie to her on several occasions: he doesn't tell her that he continues to kill people, all the times he punched/pointed a gun at Sun, erase part of FC memory. I am 100% sure that Earth would never accept this kind of behavior.

Not to mention that Earth seems to be forcing herself to think that every single thing Monty does is funny (for example, Monty extorting Lunar and Earth laughing saying that it was funny when Sun and Lunar told her that it was not).

In short, Earth, my girl, open your eyes and realize that you have the worst partner in the world. You deserve better, Nebula is right there!

And obviously, all the shit Monty did to Nexus.

Not only did he admit to Nexus' face that he never liked him and that he always wanted to bring Old Moon back, he also electrocuted Nexus into unconsciousness and WITHOUT CONSENT entered his head. Nexus said no and Monty did it anyway, and by force.

And no, you cant excuse him with "but Monty did it to bring Old Moon back 🥺 it was for the greater good" Because if I had a medical problem and I told the doctor that I didn't want help anyway and they knocked me out to help me while I was unconscious, it is a violation of my rights and I can sue them. Nexus said no, and no means no.

Monty is an uncontrolled person, with anger issues who likes to get what he wants when he wants it regardless of how he has to get it, whether by killing, extorting, bombing, etc. He's an asshole and a danger to people around them.
