Ugh Mel this the perfect question. I live in a town that wants to be a city, so the centre has a bunch of suburban areas and new high rises, but the outskirts are a mix of large bungalows (I think they're called ranch in the states) style homes with a ton of property and full out farms. Mostly wheat and corn but there is a massive apple orchard and another pumpkin farm I go to every fall.

The dream would be to buy one of those bungalow homes with a ton of land, maybe one with a pond. I'd raise geese in the pond. And I'd have a horse stable, but only one horse because those things are majestic but also a little scary. Maybe I an have a couple smaller ponies. And I want alpacas, and I'd have a petting zoo that's free for kids. They can come and feed the alpacas. And I'd definitely have chickens. I'd have fresh eggs and any extra eggs I'd put out front and anyone can drive by and pick them up. The rule would be they can have the eggs for free but they have to leave an empty egg carton so I can fill up eggs for others. Oh! And I'd have a peacock just strutting around all pretty.

I don't think I could handle a cow. And goats freak me out. And sheep are too much work.

I also don't have much of a green thumb, so it wouldn't be a real food farm, but I think I can handle a small vegetable patch. Tomatoes (obviously) and zucchini and peppers and cucumbers and lettuce.

Maybe some strawberries, though those don't always do well around where I live.

oh my god oh my god I had my first real hangy dream!!! I had a dream I was in college and so was he and we were in a class together or maybe a few??? but anyway all I remember is that apparently he needs me bc I’m like the goat to his horse like I keep him calm and apparently there was this big dinner party at the college that I wasn’t there for and I saw him the next day on campus grounds like he just passed by me and he was still in his formal attire and he looked GOOD and I was like hey! and he was all hey! but like it was a bit awkward bc apparently he had missed my being there and I hadn’t known anything about it!! (OH AND IT WAS SNOWING) but anyway so I go to the college dorms and in one of the common areas a few of the girls were there all dressed up too and I’m like wow what did I miss??? and they’re like “one of the professors had an evening party last night” and I’m like oh really? and they were like “yeah!!! Adam said he wished you were there. he missed you, he was all nervous and stuff” and I was like “oh” like blushing and everything and it was SO CUTE bc it’s like my brain Knew that I was the one who kept him sane and kept him calm bc we were so close sjsahsjfjsjkj anyway UGH IT WAS THE CUTEST THING and like I know nothing really happened between us but just the thought that hangy needs me was enough 🥺💙🥰

good god here we go 💀; 3 years ago? tinder farmer boy, I believe he was like 1 or 2 years younger than me? We texted for awhile and then met at a restaurant cause I prefer public places for a first meet, annnnd I think we went at like 7 or 8pm and ate and talked until like 12am, but the only god damn fucking conversation he could hold was about farming and his tractors 💀 anytime I tried to revert it to something else somehow he trailed back to his goats and equipment and I just wanted to kms honestly it was so awkward, it was kind of like a cocky thing too which is a huge turn off. i did not speak to him after that and neither did he, I think he got the hint when all I could say on the date was “uh huh, wow, that’s cool”💀
