Orphan Black (rw with mum) 5x09 One Fettered Slave

As Sarah, Felix and Kira mourn the death of S they discover that Helena has been kidnapped. Rachel is only able to fill in some of the pieces. Meanwhile, Westmorland is becoming more desperate for a cure as he knows he is close to death without it. And as action is taken upon Helena, she has her own thoughts about what is best for herself and her unborn children.

The mournful singer at the funeral as Felix was reading S's goodbye letter was an emotionally heavy tribute to a beloved character; Young Helena was an impressive child actor but shouldn't Young Rachel/Charlotte's actor have played her? It didn't in anyway diminish the storyline's impact, but it was noticable; Rachel finally helping her sestras and very slowly earning their trust. Baby steps; Helena's reaction to being told she'll be a bad mother was heartbreaking. She's gonna love her bebes so much; Tat as Helena singing in the end credits was delightfully unexpected

UnPrisoned is inspired by Tracy McMillan’s life. The series stars Kerry Washington, Delroy Lindo, and Faly Rakotohavana.

Regardless of black or not even, ppl just be idk what kinda annoying to not think about context while complaining about how someone talks. I hate how often the ad is shoved in my face buT hell yes to legit representation of what somone from the streets and or outta prison will (often) interact with others like. HE'S A REAL HUMAN AND FEELS LIKE A REAL HUMAN. FLAWED. BUT TRYING. Legit everything you've said. I'm not black or white but it made me so happy to see someone like the people I've always been around, ppl from the streets or prison life, acting... in a way that makes sense.

Exactly! In context, the way he talks makes perfect sense!
