The University Grants Commission (UGC) has made it mandatory for all undergraduate students in recognised universities in India to do research internships for 8-10 to 10 weeks. Since the implementation of the National Education Policy 2022, there have been one-on-one changes in the education sector and as part of that, the rule has been made mandatory.
