learning the linux command line has been fun... stressful but fun... i needed to use additional resources because i didn't really understood what my professor is trying to say... it's an online class without video lectures so it was blegh...

ended up downloading git bash and I am literally so cool. currently grabbing all the text that was hidden under readmores that was Not Downloaded, copying it out of the tumblr source code (which is really weird and uses about a million nested div elements for seemingly no reason, including a separate div element for every paragraph (??)), and am using sed to get rid of said div elements because they are stupid and unnecessary and I don't want them in my source code. and then I am putting the fixed stolen-from-tumblr-source-code text, with only the <p> tags remaining, into the html file where it belongs. this is kind of beautiful

See, that is why Redhat and Mr. Poettering have introduced all in one systemd command that does grep command and limiting output in a single go for a given service log. How cool is that? You guys hate systemd for no good reason 🤭
