It's been almost seven years since we first met, and ever since that first day, I have never doubted for a moment that you would be a part of the rest of my life. There was an instant connection and mutual understanding between us that whatever we had going on, we were going to be there for each other, through everything. It took us nearly a year to figure out that we had both been crazy for each other for most of that time, and just hadn't had the nerve to open up that parts of ourselves to each other. But kissing you in that London pub was the best decision I've ever made. Followed closely by asking you to marry me.

As the thistle and the shamrock intertwine, so do our hearts and souls. Today, I vow to be your steadfast companion, as strong and enduring as the ancient stones of our homelands. I promise to cherish every moment with you, to hold you close in times of joy and sorrow, and to be your rock through all of life's challenges. I promise to listen with compassion, speak with kindness, and love you unconditionally. You are my best friend, my confidant, and my greatest love. Together, we have already created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and the rich traditions of our heritage, and I promise to continue doing so, for our future family.

As I marry you, I embrace the untameable Irish spirit in you, knowing it drives me wonderfully crazy. Never stop being unapologetically yourself, for it is those very qualities that make me fall in love with you over and over again.

The screaming from upstairs seems to be enough to tip the scales on what already felt like a tense evening. The dancing stops, the music, it’s just screaming and a flurry of motion all around them and she feels her fangs in her mouth, can smell blood, fresh spilled. Amala wants to move towards it, she wants to sink her teeth into one of those eladrins maybe, go at one of the few wolves that managed to weasel their way in. But she still had a tether to sanity, Dianna at her side and the realization of what must have happened sinking in. Turning to look towards the blonde, she can’t bring herself to speak, only hold out her arms to her. They don’t have time to grieve, the commotion has already whipped everyone into a frenzy. “We can’t stay here.”

“Aegnor.” It’s all up to chance, it’s so risky to be in the Otherworld at all, but he is not afraid of a place that has only made him more uncomfortable over time, that hasn’t felt like home. The door he’d chosen to step through had been one he’d watched his older brother go through time and time again when they were younger, near the meadow. That’s why he’d spent so much time there, it’d been their meadow once, before it’d just been somewhere for him to read and contemplate his life. Farenduil sees him up ahead, the man who he’d avoided, the one he’d put in the ground, the one who’d ruffled his hair and made sunflowers grow with him. The one who’d tried to kill Meryasek repeatedly. Melpomene had said he was still in there and he almost didn’t want to believe it, but he had to try. And he watches as his brother turns around, doesn’t dare move. “Do you even remember me, brother?” His tone is even despite how loud his heart is hammering in his chest. With what emotion, he’s not entirely sure. Hope maybe, but he thinks frustration is right behind it in line.

Location: A Hall Person: Baybe @gabriclsanson​ “Hey, hey, this way.” They are sneaking around the Vatican, the actual Vatican and he had taken two brownies already, there were two pre-rolls in his pocket. One for Kirigan, one for Yoshinori, his two friends that couldn’t attend on account of demons not being allowed into the place, apparently. It was bullshit, there was a legion of the undead all there and two of them were getting married, but two people that’d clawed their way up from hell couldn’t show up? It was unfair. Still, the ceremony had been nice he guessed and now he got to run around during the reception on Valentine’s day with both of his…Partners? “Hey, am I your boyfriend?” Rowan stops completely in his tracks right in the middle of the hall that he’s trying to take Gabriel down so they can find somewhere to hang out that’s less full of fangs. “I know we haven’t really talked about it and I’m chill! Partner or whatever is fine, it’s not like I’m seeing anyone other than you two and you two are…” He gestures vaguely after tapping both index fingers together to indicate what he hopes is kissing. “Three musketeer shit, right?” This is not a conversation he wants to be having high by any means.

the steven universe hate is insane bc people are (or at least were) more upset that fictional war criminals got fictional hugs than they recognize that it singlehandedly advanced queer rep in children's media by lightyears and then straight up ate heavy retaliation for the nerve.

It does have real flaws that are worth discussing, but it also put their male protagonist in dresses and skirts and played it straight and even empowering, they aired a lesbian wedding on television, it was a genuinely queer, genuinely diverse piece of media through and through. It did a lot of real good for the real world.

But also the fictional characters caused fictional harm to other fictional characters, and didn't get an onscreen firing squad sentence. So, you know, it's basically ontologically evil in real life.

Person: @augustcavaliere​  Location: As he’s tryna sneak out The whole place is in chaos, the tension that has plagued the whole ceremony has come to a head and Amala is an opportunist, if she’s not going to be able to control herself, she’s going to make it count. It’s something she’s conscious about as she moves from room to room, teeth sinking into a mortal if they get in her way, less to drink from and more to maim. She’d been made a fool of at Halloween when those witches had left her home in ruins, her once cozy seat on senate now practically burned her. It kept her from taking matters into her own hands and one of those damn Asphodel witches had to be around somewhere, they were far too smug to stay away, she just- “You.” The witch was so tall he was hard to miss as he ducked into the hall and she doesn’t waste any time in hurrying after him, practically throwing people out of her way. There’s too many people, other vampires fighting each other for a shot at the blood of a mortal, fey, or worse, each other.  “I should kill you!” She calls after him, emerging into the hall, fangs bared and dress ripped in several places.
