Despite the burning heat that radiated in the air around Blade, his skin was ice-cool to the touch. She finds herself cautiously snaking her fingers over the side of his neck wiping away the beads of sweat that had begun rolling down as he leaned into her touch. As usual, the scent of blood lingered on his skin and he was decorated in dust and grime from his battle. Though none of that mattered to her when her gaze flickered up to meet his scarlet eyes.
This entire situation was bizzare; him looking like a blood thirsty killer walking uninvited into her clean pristine house in the dead of the night yet not a single fibre of her body could push him away as they both drew closer into each other's space. This was the opposite of what her logic told her, the opposite of using common sense but was there ever common sense at play when it came to this man?
Not a single word is spoken amongst them. He refrains from touching her in any manner but the endless staring into her eyes tells her about the million thoughts running in his head. The things he wishes to do to her but is holding back. The way his hands would fit against her waist as he kissed her. How good his fingers would feel pressed into her skin. A small smile slips on her face as she feels his neck stiffen and the rapid pulsing of his veins against her fingertips.
What will I do without my wife (ao3)? She seems to have forgotten my existence (won’t let me stay logged in) and I am fighting my own battles (I have work for another 30 minutes) but need to rely on her (please log me in. I’m going to have a nervous breakdown over some idiots at work)
i really do hope colum asht is in alecto the ninth. and i hope that as tamsyn muir types his name into the manuscript she knows in her heart that me and the three other colum stans on this website will go APESHIT when we read it
Ao3 is down and I’m at work with nothing to do but my job I guess. I’m just glad that they make sure to keep us updated when this happened or I’m afraid I’d be losing my mind.
