#Who is Donna Troy

I know its been a while, but I wish the end of the Ric arc had Donna show Dick important moments in his life and help him piece his life back together. It would a reverse of the “Who is Donna Troy Arc”  - instead of finding who Donna is by going through places they used to be important to her, they would starting with who Dick is and work back to the places and things important to him. Dick helped Donna find out who she was, and now she could do the same for him.

the first thing every dick grayson writer has to keep in mind is that he is defined by his kindness. second thing is that he’s an asshole. third thing is that he’s so, so angry. fourth thing is that he loves donna hinckley stacy troy more than life itself.

Headcannon that the 1st generation of the teen titans (Dick, Roy, Donna, Wally, and Garth) have such a complicated love life with one another that it would totally be a 20 season romcom. They've all dated each other at some point, multiple thruples have popped up, at least 3 Teen Titans orgies have occured, ect. By the time Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg joined the team, the more complex sides of the romance have mostly fallen away, but sometimes it came back up.

Raven: Mr. Twister hates you because your were dating Donna?

Dick: No, that was later. Wally was dating her at the time, and that's why he went after us. I had an on and off thing with Roy at the time.

Raven: Roy? But I thought he with Garth?

Dick: Oh yeah he was cheating on Garth at the time. Course, when Garth found out, he and I hooked up to get back at Roy.

Raven: If Mr. Twister didn't go after you because of Donna, then why did Mr. Twister hates you?

Dick: Oh I totally was sleeping with Wally at the time. Mr. Twister isn't a homophobe, mind you- he just hates cheaters and gingers, and Wally was both.

What does it mean to come back to life as an accidental wrinkle in the fabric of reality? Jason Todd might not know the meaning of life, but he does figure out the meaning of his life, somewhere in between killing the Joker and ringing the doorbell to Wayne Manor. Or, a canon-divergent take of Lost Days and Countdown to Final Crisis, where Under the Red Hood doesn’t happen.

i participated in this year's @batbigbang and drew for faia's fic, who was a very wonderful person to work with, and who wrote a fic that is so up my alley, i had trouble choosing what to draw! :') it's super great, and it features multiverse shenanigans, which is why i got to draw one jason judging another jason's red hood shtick 😂

Something so funny to me about the fact that for some reason Wonder Woman isn't here, but Superman and Green Lantern are (and Aquaman but at least he has more reason to be here). Also the way that Superman looks like he is pointing at Robin (because he and Batman are co-parenting) and Green Lantern is in-between Kid Flash and Speedy (because he's their honorary uncle) is very fun to me!

Donna Troy is truly the character of all time. Always struggling with how people percive her. Needing to be perfect on the outside if not on the inside. Spending her entire life hiding her faults from outside eyes.

And then the monkey paw curls.

She gets erased and brought back with Wally’s memories of her. All of a sudden the facade she’s put up all her life becomes her. She becomes what she’s always projected to the world.

But it fixes nothing. Instead of worrying about showing her flaws to the world she worries she’s successfully erased them. The jokes is on her. She finally perfected the mirage of herself, but instead of freedom she finds herself in a self built prison, trapped in a watered down Donna Troy, the hollow image of perfection she cultivated all her life.

Her response is to scream in her own voice for the first time in her life.
