Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion launches this fall worldwide for PS4, Switch, and PC
From Gematsu
Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion will launch for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam, GOG, and Humble Store this fall worldwide, publishers XSEED Games, Marvelous Europe, and Marvelous, and developer Team GrisGris announced.
In North America, physical $49.99 standard and $79.99 “Ayame’s Mercy” editions will be available for PlayStation 4 and Switch. The latter includes a copy of Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion with a reversible cover, a “Save Yourself” LED blue candle styled after the in-game save points, a 64-page artbook filled with behind-the-scenes content, a “Ayame’s Mercy” lenticular art card, an “evidence kit” containing items from the game, and an Amare Est Vivere “Medical Kit” metal outer case. This limited edition will be available shortly for pre-order through the XSEED Games Store and at participating retailers.
Here is an overview of the game, via XSEED Games:
Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion follows three high school friends; Haruka Nanami, Nemu Takanashi, and Maria Hitsugi, as they explore the Amare Epatoentst Vivere Hospital, testing a local urban legend as the streamer Nemu seeks to boost her subscriber count. Unfortunately for the three girls, the legend of “Ayame’s Mercy” is true, and they trigger a decades-old curse that sends them into a dark realm. Together they must avoid the vengeful spirit of Ayame Kirishima and other horrors from the hospital’s dark past as they search for a way to dispel Ayame’s curse once and for all.
The cult-classic Japanese horror franchise returns with new characters, a new setting, a terrifying new curse, and a brand-new look allowing for more thrills and chills! Players can freely explore the fully 3D rendered halls of the Amare Est Vivere Hospital in both third- and, for those brave enough to take a closer look, first-person viewpoints as they try to keep the girls alive. This new perspective complements the series’ visual novel-style storytelling, pairing updated visuals with gruesome descriptions and spine-tingling binaural audio accompanied by the original Japanese voiceovers. Featuring six chapters, with eight additional scenarios and plenty of Wrong Ends for players to discover as they uncover the truth behind “Ayame’s Mercy” and escape with their lives, Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion is the perfect entry point for new horror buffs while keeping longtime fans on the edge of their seats.

My entry for the Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life fan art contest.
Best of luck everyone!!
This for the Matrimony category. I drew this, because I thought it was cool when Matthew said he made the scarecrows on Vesta's farm. So Matthew knowing how to sew is canon.
I didn't know whether or not I was going to enter the contest, because I was so busy drawing for an upcoming convention. I'm glad though they were able to extend the deadline. I was able to get this done in 11 hours. I started Sunday morning and just finished up, about 43 minutes ago. I'm happy with how this came out.
quick reminder: fashion dreamer is NOT style savvy 5. i dont mind if its something you personally call it, but i also think that exclusively referring to the game as style savvy 5 could very well could mess up what others and yourself are expecting from the game.
fashion dreamer looks significantly more character creation and collection focused,, while style savvy is about running your own business and helping customers. they aren't going for the same thing. if they were, fashion dreamer would be called style savvy.
again, it's not like, the biggest deal in the world, but with the game already getting dismissed so much already because its feminine (a guy LITERALLY referred to it as being an "anti-game for your sister" when it was first revealed), i think its important to keep in mind that, even though it was made by the same developers as style savvy and has similar themes, its not trying to be style savvy. its something different and i think going in with the expectation that it will be style savvy is kind of unfair and will just lead to poorly thought out criticism.

Marvelous has announced two new entries in the Story of Seasons series—one that retains the traditional gameplay of pursuing your own way of living the farm life, and one in which you can play together with others. Platforms were not announced.
Here is an overview of the games, via Marvelous’ western subsidiary XSEED Games:
With a central theme of “Experiences,” series manager Hikaru Nakano revealed the first footage of the next title in the original farm / life simulation series, highlighting a fresh look after 27 years of farming and friendship.
Nakano also shared exciting news and the first concept images for a separate, future entry in development, which is planned to bring Story of Seasons fans together with an ambitious new title where you can play with everyone!

Got to draw him after wanting to for a few years. He was my favorite bachelor in Story of Seasons Trio of Towns.
I can't wait to get my time back so I can draw the things I want to draw most. I really love the Harvest Moon/ Story of Seasons games, so I'm looking forward to being able to draw more fan art for the series. It's really where my heart is, because this is what I grew up with and what I know the most.
It's the nostalgia and the memories of course, but I enjoyed the personalities and the characters and how they were all fleshed out to create the masterpieces of the games that they did. A Wonderful Life, Magical Melody, and Trio of Towns being my highest favorites in the series line.
Sorry once I start talking about something that brings me happiness or makes me excited I tend to ramble😅
I pre-ordered Fashion Dreamer digital for Switch like a week ago, and am anxiously awaiting for it to finally be released. Nintendo charged me yesterday for it, but I want the game now! I just want to play a fashion game by great developers (I never got into Style Savvy, but had my eye on them).
