Athena (2022)
Hours after the brutal killing of their youngest brother, Idir, three siblings from french neighbourhood Athena have their lives thrown into chaos. The brothers are of Algerian origin with one a decorated soldier in the French Army, another a drug dealer and the third a community leader, all outraged at the racist murder of Idir.

Finally found a Taylor Swift podcast episode on one of the major French radio stations, and it's actually pretty good but someone on it saying "she's almost a poet" really made me laugh
Honey, she is a poet

At first I didn't believe it. I guess part of me still doesn't want to believe it. But it's becoming too hard to ignore and it breaks my heart. I wish this all wasn't true and I wish it was just a bunch of girls seeking attention in a depraved and pathetic way. But the more I hear about this, the more it somehow makes sense and the more it disgusts me. To the point that I really want to bitchslap Till in his stupid face.
I understand how you feel. I would be absolutely heartbroken if it happened 3/4 years ago. But the truth is- no matter how many of those stories are fake, there still has been shit happening in plain sight. Till was proud of his nasty p0rn projects, he was proud about the row zero shit and bjs in between songs. And he never hid his insanely sexist views in interviews as well. I think the entire fandom just really wanted to think he's somehow "different" when in reality he's just a typical old pervert with way too much power. Once you realize it it will probably get easier to accept. No need to lie to yourself, really.

In it's first run, I liked Tumblr because of it's no bullshit, no censorship stance. My original page - mostly dedicated to punk was deleted, surely because I posted photos from punk rock female musicians who made pornographic/ erotic modelling. It was quite common in the late 70s/early 80s for female punks (but also men) to do porn or erotic photograph - easy money and not having a fuckin' shitty dayjob. That was it... and if it got known and offended morals... Oh dear! Fuck you!
Now, we have some lovely women that, knowing this or not, keep up this good thing going (not exactly the same - you don't do eroticism to keep the band going, but, Hey, I'm in my mid 50's, and these are different times.
Now, some goth girls I follow, @nocnimura ,@lordacne ,@dark-horomi ...
You all seem to be very interesting people, cultured, with aesthetic views. We don't know each other - and never will - an ocean in between - so I state what I can infer.
You are gorgeous, loveable and enticing. Love to you.
Now, what I don't fuckin' understand, is girls/ women publishing over and over again pics/small videos of themselves shaking their ass, pussy underpanties and boobs... Has the all digital XXIst Century got people so badly in being sex correct - that anyone thinks this is sexy. Fuck, No! Here, I don't add names of course - but it's like, this girl has the most wonderful smile and a lovely body. Sex Worker. No Shame. But does anyone really gets hooked up with the 'shake that ass/ shake those boobs' thing?
Either, I'm a fuckin' pervert, or under (say) 30 guys became castratti, or - and that's my biggest fear - men in the XXIst, became so apart from real sex (with games and porn, whatever) that they feel like a blessing seeing some pussy going up an down, under the bikini.
No excuses, I'm high as a kite, but I won't take out a word.

unpopular opinion but anything related to spreading the Gospel should be FREE :
Bible should be given away for free
Christian books (hell experiences, testimony, etc) should be FREE. Those experiences have been given by God as a warning/example, and the whole body of Christ has to hear about them. Putting them behind a pay wall is absolutely selfish and reckless and anyone doing so will be held accountable for that. "b-but they need to pay off the book productio-" USE THE INTERNET. We're in the XXIst century and if you want a message to be effectively spread to a maximum of people you can grab your phone and put it out FOR FREE on social media that BILLIONS of people can access to in a matter of seconds. Any Christian pulling out books with a price tag does so for monetary reasons, and they should be honest with it.
Biblical schools should be free (paying thousands to have a proper knowledge of the Word -when the Holy Spirit is right there FOR FREE- is straight up heresy and demonic idc)
apologetic youtube video should be demonetized
etc. etc.
I SCREAM whenever I hear so-called Christian channel copyright strike other (smaller) channels bc they reposted/used their content to spread the Gospel. DID GOD COPYRIGHT HIS WORDS FOR YOU TO SPEAK ABOUT HIM ONLY IF YOU PAID??
MODERN DAY MERCHANTS OF THE TEMPLE.
"Freely you have received; freely give".
Matthew 10:8-10

The Woman King EXPOSED! Propaganda LIES VS Historical TRUTH
The new movie The Woman King has been the subject of all sorts of controversy in the last few weeks. On this video I'll tell you about what's going on and most importantly I'll give you a historical channel's perspective on the historicity of this movie.

As a Black historian I think you hit the nail on the head in all your points. I personally hate blackwashing as you call it because it’s not history, just as much as whitewashing is not, but is disrespectful to true history and to another culture. Also, black people should be upset because we need to talk about the African kingdoms role in the slave trade, but we don’t. I think you did good here. The more I've learned about African history and cultures, the more amazed I am and the more astonished that they go completely unheard of in media. There is so much potential, but everyone wants to just conquer the already established thing instead of exploring an entire new and rich landscape.
The problem is filmmakers believe they have to present the ancient people with a XXIst century mentality, otherwise the audience will not identify with the heroes. But this is absurd. The fact that our ancestors believed in slavery and nowadays that is considered a horrible institution should make us realise the obvious: what we believe as normal today may be seen in a completely different light by the next generations.

I liked season 3 but i didn't appreciate some things, like the fact that Eden had to comfort Simon about her miscarriage. I mean, Simon was the father and had the right to suffer too, but i feel like they made it all about Simon when Eden was the one who lost her child. But that's my opinion ofc. I disliked the friendship between Simon and Gaius too because for me it's strange that Simon, who hated a tax collector not so long ago, befriends a roman soldier so easily lol. Also the way they're portraying Thomas and Ramah's "love story": maybe i'll be mean but i really couldn't care less about them, they're awkward and not in that soft sweet way and i find Matthew and Mary much more interesting even if they're not in love. I know that their relationship isn't the focus of the show, but their scenes take up time from other storylines that deserve more space.
Oh, of course, yes to all of the above.
I think both of the problems with Simon stem from the fact we are supposed to see him as the main character. Whereas I would much rather all of the Apostles, and all of the female followers were treated equally. But sometimes there are entire episodes when Philip, or James the Younger, or Thaddeus don't speak even one line. I guess it's fine in the long run, because everything needs to be balanced out, but I don't like how uneven it is at times. And I don't actually view Simon as the main character, because he is so unlikeably, it's hard to find any saving traits in him. There is a lot of talk about how he's the leader of the group, but... is he? The real saint Peter probably was, but in the show, in how it is written, it looks more like Philippe would be the leader, or James the Elder, becuase they are constructed as characters with leadership qualities, where SImon is not.
About the miscarriage: I didn't like it either, though I think it was just handled very clumsily by the show, becuase there was a time jump the viewers were not made aware of. I mean, I only learnt there was a time jump when Eden was talking to Simon? Becuase the whether is always the same, and the characters always look the same, it's impossible to tell otherwise. And I guess I can understand why it was handled the way it was - Eden did have some support in other women, Simon's vice is that he's not even asking for help, and it comes biting him in the ass - but no matter. In season 1, I actually enjoyed immensely the scene when Jesus talks to Eden and tells her she has another part to play and she too will bear sacrifices, because it put the emphasis on how everybody can serve God in different ways, but when the time came, I didn't like the storyline one bit. As for Gaius and their friendship... was that meant to show that it was Simon who helped to fix the cystern, therefore Eden could go to mykvah, therefore he inadvertentently helped her? I guess I could see it that way, but I still don't like it. For 2,5 seasons Simon was at Matthew's throat for the same thing (broadly speaking ofc), it makes no sense to have him have such a rapid change of heart.
As for Thomas and Ramah... Huh, I guess Thomas may be in the future the disciple who will ask "Is it better not to marry, then?". I'm guessing they will not go down the road of actually marrying anybody off, altough, on the other hand, many disciples probably had their own families. But I am not a fan of this storyline either, because it is one thing to have Thomas be in love (I'm fine with that and it could be balanced as a story: what do I choose, following Jesus wholly or sticking with my normal life?), but I would much rather more focus on Ramah. She's a good blank slate to show a plausible way to be a woman in the Ist century without cliches (she learns to read and write, she is a businesswoman, she's very independant while following some customs which would seem constraining to us in the XXIst century). I also liked Kafni, her father, and the way he reacted to Jesus, thinking he owes Him his daugther. This is way more interesting to me than any love story.
Thank you! I think a lot of people agrees season 3 is the weakest so far, here's to hoping season 4 will improve!

You know what I find humorous despite the ramifications? The way transphobes and homophobes describe what they're afraid of while possessing the very traits.
There is this shit eating fantasy author who's so terrified of XXIst century and he will go on an interview and say stuff like " 'men' with high voice", or "short 'men'" or the banger " 'immasculine men' avoiding sports". And it takes a whole 3 seconds Google search to prove that he fulfils all three of these random ass categories.
He has extremely high voice. I'm someone with higher pitch myself and I can on occassion go even higher but he outdoes me even on my so called high notes.
He clocks at the astonishing 160something centimeters, which depending on the scale or day, I'm potentially taller than him.
He admitted in one interview that he disliked PE in school and was avoiding classes. The only physical education he might have had is mandatory military training. Other than that it's impossible to tell how much exercise he has daily but knowing the pattern of hypocrisy, not a lot is my hazardous guess.
And you know why I find it so funny? Because going off of his guidelines I could potentially get his ass calling him a faggot and sissy father fucker and make fun off him for how not masculine he is and how much of a faggot he is. But you know the difference between his fake ass archeology major and my chad galaxy brain is? I know that by saying shit like this I can potentially hurt people who didn't do anything wrong. He grows out his beard to cover 3/4 of his body in hopes that nobody mistakes him for a faggot but guess what? My beard could eat yours and I'm getting mistaken for a girl or hot lesbian all the goddamn time.
But pop off king. Go far and beyond to protect your fragile and weak sense of masculinity like a pathetic dog you are. I'm sure your 13yearold fans are not gonna suffer any kind of whiplash when they hear from their favourite author that they're not manly enough.
You know what they say about self confidence and being self assured. Confidence is quiet, it's insecurity that is loud. And you my sir, are screaming extremely loud indeed.
