soo i did some reverse engineering on Zoo Tycoon 2 and discovered a hidden dev console and BFGManager as the z-Lua subsystem with custom zt2 hooks and a lot of straight up unobfuscated shader files that could be goldmine for further RE.

also there's an undocumented Huge Elephant in the dev animals. it doesn't seem to be any different from an African Elephant.

many of the guests are named after people who were training at Microsoft at the time. maybe they worked on it or gave input? one of the names is just "Bacon Jr."

also the dev console file has a reference to Colossal Cave Adventure from 1976. huh

Like do I miss burglars or cars when I play sims4? Absolutely not, don't even think about them but ooooo do I miss the skill notebook and making my sims specialize in writing horror books or that my cat is the best at catching beetles

I love planet zoo and totally understand why they won't add eggs for the reptiles/birds but ooooo my favorite thing in zt2 was sitting beside velociraptor nests and waiting for them to hatch
