Miss Recluse - Recruited by Black Hole. Has the human sized body of a Brown Recluse spider and the head of a human and poisonous fangs. Can do everything a spider does, and is a bit of a drama queen. Besties with The Magician

The Magician - A sorcerer from the dark ages who accidentally transported himself to the future with no way back. Uses a lot of dark magic that includes illusions- favorite spell to use is blue fire that is immune to water and can burn through metal and stone. Dr. Strange meets Dr. Faciler.

Mr. Cyanide - Recruited by Black Hole, eventually becomes a solo high level threat villain, main antagonist of book 2. Mad scientist with a deadly knack for chemistry. Only cares whether his experiments work, couldn't care less if they hurt or kill people.

Boss Lady - a Mafia boss who is colossally tall and wide, and incredibly strong. Big stronk woman who is working with/for the Snow Queen (her loyalties or questionable). Does have standards but also tortures people for the fun of it so....?

Blood Debt - Loner (mainly) vigilante who rides around on a motorcycle and kills anyone who he sees fit is deserving of dying, or whoever he gets paid to kill. Does jobs for the Snow Queen, and under the mask he is someone one of the heroes is very close with...

Nightmare - a small time, low threat villain that doesn't actually hurt anyone. Her powers put people to sleep and she takes their energy from them. A freshman/sophomore college student with an engineering major. More of an anti-hero vigilante if you squint.

The Snow Queen - The big bad for the last three books. Only an urban legend/rumor until the last two books. Has ice powers that can control tech and people. No one knows her identity and she is holed up in her lair most of the time, sending minions/Boss Lady or Blood Debt to do anything outside the lair. She is someone all of the heroes know very well :)

Plot

A bunch of rookie teenage superheroes and their journey to becoming the heroes and protectors of their city, and eventually the world, and most importantly- a family. With all of the chore rotations, late night grocery runs, fights for the shower, and everything else that happens along with the action. Full of full scale super powered fights, betrayals and confrontations, cool tech and superpowers, and everything we love about the superhero genre.

Extra Stuff

Chase is a caffeine addict and not only can, but has on multiple occasions mixed coffee and energy drinks

Kylee uses sign language or a text to speech app to communicate, or if she has neither goes old school and writes things down

the city is based on a combination of Chicago and Gotham City

Nickelle has two younger siblings, a brother and a sister who are inseparable, 8 and 5 years old

Nickelle also has a huge extended family that's more traditional and she has to tone down her punk look for family gatherings

Asher's boyfriend is Damian. Damian finds out about his partner's double superhero life when Asher saves him in the mask, and like a dumbass, Asher forgets to turn on his voice modifier and Damian recognizes his voice immediately

Damian is also a Chekhov's Civilian and becomes a vital part of the plot

Nightmare and V have a little enemies to lovers romance that's mostly in the background is is really just there for comedy

The Magician gets a redemption arc and becomes the Hero Team's weird morally gray uncle

Kylee has a brother who is in the US Navy. He is one of the few people that she is comfortable being fully unmaksed around at the beginning of the books, and he is deployed during the events of the books.

Bryson has a weird relationship with his dad, who raised him all by himself and is a full time EMT. Bryson really wants to tell his dad about his double superhero life because it's driving a wedge between him and his dad, but it's not safe and Bryson's not sure how his dad will react

Why don’t more people watch legends of tomorrow? There is an entire episode about a furby adaptation named “Beebo” that the vikings worshipped. Not to mention the collection of misfits and “fuck ups”. 

In our array of characters we have:

Original Captian Rip “team dad, in a relationship with my ship” Hunter who tricks the legends into joining him on his timeship so he can avenge his wife & son by killing Vandal Savage. He also usually lies, fucks shit up and is actually kind of a dick. He also wears a brown coat which he took from the wild west to remember his cowboy boyfriend by.  

New and Improved Captain Sara “team mom, professional badass” Lance who is a former assassin. Unapologettially bisexual, seduces women in history and has died like 3 times or whatever. Is currently dating Ava “bureau mom, lesbian disaster” Sharpe. Named the White Canary by her now deceased sister Laural Lance 

Ray “heart of gold, gullible genius” Palmer built an exo-suit because his fiancee died. Extremely loyal, has like 4 PhD’s and has the ultimate brotp bordering on gay flirtation with Nate Heywood. Calls himself the Atom. Was once engaged to Kendra Saunders. 

Nate “history nerd, actual puppy” Heywood once took a serum which made him turn to steel when he chooses to. Is in love with Amaya Jiwe, stupidly brave and is a sweet dudebro. His grandfather was “Commander Steel” former member of the JSA in the 40′s. 

Amaya “talks to dinosaurs, likes vision quests” Jiwe is a former member of the 1940′s JSA known as Vixen. Grew up in the Zambesi Village in Africa and inherited the Anansi Totem, which gives her the ability to channel the power of any animal in existence. Is also in love with Nate Heywood.

Mick “likes fire, steals things” Rory is a professional arsonist and thief. As resident bad boy he hates rules, likes beer and gives people nicknames. He joined the legends with his then partner Leonard Snart with the original goal to steal things throughout time. He is now a reluctant hero who writes fanfiction. Known as HeatWave.

Recently joined Zari “likes video games, has wind powers” Tomaz is a hacker from 2042. She is Muslim, has the air totem and is generally pretty cynical about stuff. She also dropped Helen of Troy of on Themyscria instead of back to ancient Troy because men often only think with their dicks. Lowkey gay for Amaya.

Gideon “sassy AI” is an interactive artificial consciousness programmed to operate the Waverider's critical systems and to aid the legends. Is actually really hot and british in human form and is incredibly sassy. She ships Avalance (Sara Lance and Ava Sharpe) and is kinda Rip Hunters longest relationship. 

Also Wally “can run really fast, is cool” West joined the legends as of episode 13 season 3. 

Former Members

Kendra “literal goddess, has wings” Saunders was part of the legends in S1. Known as Hawkgirl, Kendra is reincarnated every time Vandal Savage kills both her and Carter Hall her long time lover. In her first life she was an Egyptian High Priestess named Chay-Ara. 

Carter “Very serious, also has wings” Hall is the soulmate of Kendra. In his first life he was known as Prince Khufu and had a secret affair with Chay-Ara. He teaches Kendra how to activate & control her powers. 

Martin “nerdy genius, team grandad” Stein is one half of Firestorm along with Jefferson Jackson. Loves his wife Clarissa, is Jewish and always formal. He was the brains behind Jax’ brawn and was killed by a Nazi in the crossover in Season 3 of Legends of Tomorrow. Had an incredible singing voice and was often the logic behind some of the legends missions. Had said that Jax was like a son to him. 

Jefferson “former footballer, cool kid” Jackson was roofied by Stein an was convinced by him to stay with the legends. He is the other half of Firestorm and was the one of the youngest on team legends. Hi is a hardworker and was the mechanic on the Waverider. He left in Episode 9 Season 3 after Steins death to “find himself” and to mourn Stein. 

Leonard “steals things, professional criminal” Snart is like Mick’s other half and often helped to reign in his temper. He was known as Captain Cold and died in Season 1 protecting the legends and saving time. He was incredibly charismatic and once kinda had a fling with Sara Lance. 

Moral- Watch Legends of Tomorrow they are like a big poly group that all love each other and like to sass people.
