I notice I seem to want to tag every Mass Effect character with their first name AND Surname for whatever reason (I have long stopped questioning why I do anything in life) but my brain was like "you should tag Mordin's full name then lol"
and honestly I would for the bit but there is 0 chance I am gonna be able to memorise "Sur'Kesh Talat Talat Oxe Solus Mordin"

dp x dc prompt: "never ever let a fenton drive", or team phantom's dimension-hopping adventure
danny inherited the abysmal driving skills of his parents. the people in amity park are used to it though so this wouldn't be such a problem if he hadn't started learning to create portals recently, as seen when he opened a portal under his car while driving to avoid crashing into someone else while pursued by the GIW (sue him, it was a stressful situation). jazz is passed out right next to him, sam and tucker are screaming in the backseat while dani's cackling between them, adrenaline junkie that she is. the car is falling into the ghost zone and right out of another natural portal. they land right in front of a group of weirdos dressed in colourful costumes.
"... the only reason why i'm not killing you a second time is because this city looks super goth," says sam, waving the fenton thermos threateningly.
"there's nothing stopping me," mutters tucker, eyeing the costumed people warily.
danny squirms. "well, at least the GIW can't get us there?"

imo star trek aos could NEVER give kirk as tragic and compelling a backstory as tos did with tarsus iv. oh, you don’t believe in no-win scenarios because your dad died when you were an infant? sure, okay. but you don’t believe in no-win scenarios because a eugenicist turned one into a mass killing in which you almost died? now THAT is compelling.

Why do right wingers go on and ON about "father's in the home" when fathers are basically useless in the home? Like every year I see posts that go around about "dad finding out about what I got for Christmas" and it's like if fathers are so uninvolved they don't even know what Christmas gifts their kids are getting I don't think them being gone does much?? Like of course there's good and bad parents of all genders, but traditional gender roles- which the aforementioned right wingers ascribe to- mean men do jack fucking squat in the house OR anything with their kids so what the hell do right wingers think men are doing that's so important in the home if it's none of the childrearing or house work??
All I've got in this framework is a paycheque and these days women work so men wouldn't even be contributing something women DON'T, so I have no idea what these people think men are doing that it's so irreplaceable that being gone is damaging to children when by all means under their ideas of gender and family men are less than useless to their family. Women do all that work (and barring that, DAUGHTERS do more parental work than fathers so them being gone does what, exactly, except maybe rid the family of an overgrown child? Men who actually contribute are the ones families would be damaged without, not traditional men who probably don't even know how to do their own laundry OR cook or have any life skills because women have done everything for them their whole lives so???)

also last ooc post for a while but … someone should adopt jack (muse-wise obvs). like … this kid is literally living on the streets, has been since he was like ten. he literally steals food, sneaks around, picks people’s pockets, sneaks into places to survive. he doesn’t sleep on a warm bed most nights. he’s quite literally fending for himself day in & day out. like someone take this kid in & give something stable please i beg of you -
