Got a new child! Actually kinda in time for the next secret satan as this is an air genasi!

This is Tullia Enzo Zalvir, Gavrienna's Sister. The reason I made her an air genasi, while Gavrienna is an aasimar, is because the god, that their bloodline kind of has its affinity to, is a god of the storm, sea and war. I told my DM that I was thinking of giving Tullia more visible aasimar traits, as she was supposed to have even more of that celestial blood and he told me, that she could also just be a full air or water genasi.

I had mentioned Gavrienna's sister in her background story in our current campaign a few times and I was sure, that Tullia would be the kind of person to come looking for her sister and now I get a chance to play her in the next oneshot. Hopefully Gavrienna survives until then so we get a little bit of a reunion between the two edgeladies.

"Calm down? You do know who you are, right?" There's a terrifying look in his eyes as he starts backing Meng Yao into a corner.

Meng Yao chuckles nervously, "Actually, I didn't when I first came here, but that's not the point- I do know that you have reason to be wary of me. Look, could you just talk to Lan Hu- Zewu-jun or Lan Jingyi? I'm sure they can clear this all up!"

Jiang Cheng just snorts, "And I'm sure you've told them plenty of lies, and that they're wrapped around your finger now." The whip fully formed, he lashes out, but Meng Yao just manages to dodge it.

Here’s an idea I have for Jay in Same New Whip; whenever he’s low on energy, he’ll talk fast. He never makes any sense and would sometimes blurt out things he probably shouldn’t. This is a disadvantage whenever the Ninja have to lie to Wu about something. So he needs energy or else he and the others will be grounded.

If he’s at a decent amount of energy, he’ll talk normally. A little bit fast but still normal. He second guesses with his word choice and loses his train of thought a lot but, it’s better than him going on fifty different tangents.

If he’s Supercharged, he just won’t talk at all. And if he does, it’s really slow. He forgets about half of all words when this happens and will only revert back if he gets rid of all the excess energy he has.

Is there any reason (or theories) why Masters of Wind have shorter lifespans/die young? And is it tied to the fact people believe Jade eyes are Cursed? :0

If Surprise is the unpredictability of Lightning, Speed is the rate at which Lightning moves, and Sound occurs in the aftermath of Lightning, then Wind is the representative of the briefness in which Lightning persists (beyond, y'know, all the obvious storm analogies), so that could be one way to think about it: a shorter lifespan is just how that “briefness” manifests. Another way concerns Wind's connection (or disconnect) to the Green Element (which as mentioned is basically life), but that's hard to explain without spoilers :V

Anyway, even among Wind Descendants themselves, the true reason was never really solidified. And even to them, being connected to the Wind is considered cursed knowing that you probably weren't long to live, and it's why so many of them didn't really desire to spread their color. And through whispered rumors and miscommunication, even normal people began to associate Jade with something you didn't want anything to do with.

(...Hence why your assumptions about Morro are not too far off the mark. Makes it even more angsty for Wu, already shocked to find a Wind Descendant who just so happened to be the Inheritor, taking him under his wing with the intent to raise him well despite the superstition and then one day, Morro's just gone and then he pops back up as ghost decades later, having died young)

I saw a Jiang Cheng anti the other day being snotty about how it sure seems like a lot of Jiang Cheng fans list “sexy” as one of the main reasons they like him and it must just all be CQL fans who just like him because he has a handsome face

And like. Look. Does Wang Zhuocheng have a handsome face of COURSE he does but that’s not the point okay?? When we say Jiang Cheng is sexy we’re not talking about his physical appearance! We’re talking about the lightning whip, we’re talking about “I am his uncle. Any last words?”, we’re talking about the internal anguish, we’re talking about the overall bitchiness, we’re talking about how Jiang Cheng took a sect that had been burnt to ash that everyone laughed at for claiming to still be one of the great sects to being THE sect that nobody dares mess with. We’re talking about the fact that he named his sword Sandu. We’re talking about how he only has one friend and that person is also his only living family member and a teenager okay fine it’s his nephew. We’re talking about a fella whose greatest dream was for his family to be together and safe and happy being forced to go on without them. We’re talking about his paper-thin ego and the fact that he WILL not stop crying.

THAT’S sexy. THAT’S why Jiang Cheng is sexy. Not because he’s “handsome” or whatever, pah! The entire show is packed wall to wall with handsome young men. Jiang Cheng is sexy because he’s miserable and furious and he’s great at one-liners. And he has a lightning whip.

ignoring everything else that occurred and won’t have lingering effects at all—riya summoning a storm cloud and slamming lightning bolts down onto demons in the middle of an orlesian chateau’s hall while dressed to the nines is incredibly fun and sexy and everybody should be focused on that part
