like you know those scenes in the movies where Girl who was pretending to be a Boy takes her hair down and then everyone loses their shit. that's basically me irl and it's funny every time. hair stick falls out when you're in the middle of doing doublejumps at the gym (cuz your hand was borked and you had to use your other hand to put the bun up so the bun wasn't as structurally sound as usual), bun DROP to reveal 4' of braided hair that touches the floor when you're doing front squats and everyone's like where the FUCK were you hiding that shit

i've seen a fair bit of... pessimism about dorym lately, esp with the ep107, for example wondering if dorian's opposing views on the gods making orym fall out of love, and i have to say. i very highly doubt it, ur fr talking about the man who has held on to will for so long, holding onto will's family and affectionately calling this *his* family too because that didn't stop when will died. i dont think falling out of love is an option or even a thought to orym.

that said, we know that orym has contingencies for if anyone in bells hells crosses the line into being a version of themselves they would despise, for anyone who jeopardizes their mission. his mission. i think, for the first time since knowing dorian, orym finally has a contingency for him. the longer dorian is back, the more orym sees how scarred he is by what's happened (understandable so) and knows that dorian is with bells hells all the way. but if he isn't...

I think it's funny how most of us here went from Sad™ and Depressed™ as children/teens, only to end up ✨Sad and Depressed✨ adults.

Funny in the way that, we thought things would never get better, and they did. And funny in the way that they actually never DID get better - we just learned how to cope.

Except that we actually *didn't* learn how to cope, we just got used to it. Which really means, we didn't got used to it - we are just too tired to care.

Going through my worse depressive bouts before felt like fighting teeth and nail for a way out. It was hell, and it burned, and I cared. Now I simply shrug and be thankful there's fire to make some coffee. Does this make sense?

It was so loud and shrieking before, and now is more of a constant heavy hum, always there just out of reach, clinging to my legs and feet, dragging itself on the floor like a old dying beast. Once in a while it remembers it's alive and rips by flesh with its teeth, without any warning. Then back to playing dead. It bites less frequently now but my God, does it hurt.

I'm glad to not have to constantly fight for my life anymore, but I miss the days when that was something I wanted. I'm afraid I tipped the nihilistic scale too far and now I'm just sort of drifting away, little by little.

It's too quiet now and I don't like it.

#idk i just needed to vent a little #i hardly ever talk about more personal stuff because I just tend to deal alone but. i think this might make sense to some people out there #the amount of years dealing with this have made me really good at identifying the patterns #but sometimes they sneak by. and it's scary when things go quiet. i think i'm doing so well but really i'm right on the eye of the storm #idk ignore this guys. this isn't a sympathy post or anything. also no need to worry about [ ]#i'm not going back there. i'm just screaming a little bit to the void to lessen the load i suppose #anyways. it's way too early to be having existencial crisis. sheesh.#sorrreeehhh. my whimsy is a little plastic these days #darya talks to herself

I actually do like her official outfit! I just... had a deep need.... put that girl in a nightgown and slippers RIGHT NOW‼️‼️‼️‼️ Also it is admittedly so much easier to draw 🧍

I did try to keep in line with most of her official look though! Or add more emphasis to little details, like the red berries... other details I added, like the bloomers, keep the roundness of her og dress! BUT ALSO.... they are just so cutes.... I imagine they're made of rose petals...... I was also thinking angelic motifs. With the dress shape, and the smaller wings shaped as such!

#books have made me insane. and they were supposedly nyt bestsellers back in their day and yet no one ? is talking about them????#granted their day was ten years ago BUT #god. i’m so insane i had to start watching the tv show (only ~50% the same canon) because that people ARE talking about #if only a little bit and mostly to complain about some shit that apparently went down in the later seasons regarding a ship i’m pretty #agnostic on tbh #maybe the show will sell me on it and then proceed to shatter my heart as well. we shall see as i continue #anyway read them! read them read them!!!#i was hesitant for a while because they get pitched everywhere as ‘a GROWN-UP narnia… a WITTY GENRE-AWARE harry potter…’ and i was like.#well to be frank that sounds kind of mean-spirited and lacking in whimsy :/#but actually they’re SO good 🥺 they are like love letters to the genre that are also a fresh take and are fucking hilarious and chart an #incredibly moving emotional journey of the protagonist from adolescence to adulthood #so please. someone come be insane with me :)
