Full Name: Lily Luna Potter
House: Gryffindor

Patronus: snowy owl
Boggart: Dementor (like her father, she's more afraid of being afraid than anything really)
Profession: Seeker in the League
Sexuality: straight

Tumblr media
Bonus: Loves accessories, the shinier the better. Got into a fist fight her first week of school because she heard someone trashing Albus. Continued to get into fist fights now and again throughout her seven years at school. Her aesthetic can be summed up by "skinned knees and pretty skirts" or "bloody knuckles and painted nails". Very femme fatale and proud of it. Absolutely worships her older brothers but is also down to clown on them because duh. A daddy's girl, she's got Harry wrapped around her finger. She WILL bite you. Violently protective of her friends and family. Gets along with Victoire the least of all her cousins.

Hogwarts Sorting Profile: Max Russo
So, confession time: Initially, I wasn’t actually planning on writing one of these for him.  I’m sorry!  I love Max, but he’s often in the background of Wizards of Waverly Place and just has these really random plots thrown in his direction, rather than interesting character-exploration-type shit like the main sibs.  (Which, to be fair, is probably why some of y’all might be curious what I’m going to say about him.)
But I was thinking about what makes Max so odd as a character, and specifically I was thinking about him in comparison to other characters of his archetype in the Disney Channel-verse.  Because we’ve seen the messy, funny, underachieving brother character a lot, but they come in very different flavors.  Part of that for Max is that he shares some of those traits with Alex in contrast to the overachieving, overly serious Justin, but part of that is… Max often seems to be in his own little world, incomprehensible to mortals and wizards alike, and generally takes in the “real-world” around him with a shrug.  He still cares about the “real-world” when it suits him, but he’s often kind of divorced from it, and that discovery fascinated me.  Furthermore, it made his Sorting “click.”
We’ll start off easy: what does Max do?  The answer is… he’ll do pretty much anything.  He’s not a Burned Secondary, though, he just doesn’t give a fuck.  Max is every bit the Slytherin Secondary that Alex is, we just don’t usually notice because he spends most of his time in his Neutral State.
The Slytherin Secondary’s Neutral State is blunt, rough, and often unphased by stepping on people’s toes. It’s easy to mistake this for a Gryffindor Secondary’s honesty, but it comes from a different place: comfort, relaxation, and/or apathy.  It doesn’t inspire or motivate so much as sit back and do as it pleases, and the Neutral State’s honesty is there for convenience rather than necessity— if a different tactic will work better, a Slytherin Secondary can ditch their honesty and change direction far more easily than a Gryffindor Secondary.
Max isn’t exactly shy about saying what’s on his mind, even if it’s usually dismissed as nonsense.  He also does seem to charge into situations without a care sometimes, but that’s the thing: he’s able to charge into those situations because he doesn’t care.  When he tests out the zombies’ No-Fear Ring, it doesn’t work on him because he’s already fearless.  So while some Slytherin Secondaries are nervous about showing their honesty to others and only show their Neutral State when they’re home safe with people they’re comfortable with, Max lives in his honest Neutral State because he feels comfortable and safe most of the time… even in situations where he really, really shouldn’t.
Curiously, one situation where he doesn’t feel comfortable or safe has very little to do with actual danger, but about personal identity: when he’s turned into Maxine.  And in Maxine’s body, he’s a lot more manipulative.
“You know, I can’t help it if people think I’m cute.  Watch how I make it work for me.”
As Maxine, he uses his cuteness to get out of chores, to get revenge on Alex and Justin in karate, to guilt dishonest customers out of cheating his parents, and comes up with a plan to talk his “boy self” up to a girl he likes as Maxine so that she’ll like him when he changes back.  Yeah, can’t imagine why Maxine reminded Jerry and Theresa so much of Alex…
But there are Slytherin Secondary indications from Max in his usual form as well.
He has no qualms about outright lying — inventing a fake illness to get out of P.E., pretending to be “Tom Sawyer” so he wouldn’t be embarrassed by/compared to his family — but he prefers obfuscation, aka confusing people with his “Max-ness.”
“How do you get your brother to say what’s really on his mind?”
“Oh, I use randomness.”
“What?”
“Well, I just say random things and while people are trying to figure it out, they say stuff that’s on their mind.”
One example of this tactic being employed successfully is with the Genie.  While Alex fails to outsmart the Genie using her quick wits, as the Genie is every bit as cunning as her, Max figures out a way to piss off the Genie enough to blackmail her, then talks circles around her and confuses her until she reveals a way for them to undo her wishes.  Alex calls it “outdumbing” her, but in any case, he succeeded where she failed, and showed that he’s more capable than often assumed.
We get another rare moment of clarity from Max during “Alex Tells The World.”
“Alex, you know you can’t reveal magic!”
“Oh, even I know that. That’s why I just make people think I’m dumb so if I slip up, ehh, they figure, the kid’s an idiot.  And I slip up all the time, so.  Who’s dumb now?”
Max’s admission that he “slips up all the time” isn’t exactly reassuring, but it is telling that he’s the only one who doesn’t reveal magic during both the Season 4 Premiere and the Season 3 Finale.  Perhaps it was dumb luck that got him there, but I think there’s more to it than that.  There’s a method to his madness.  There’s a logic to it, even if Max’s logic often doesn’t follow all the way through.
Which leads me to his Primary— Ravenclaw.  (LOOK I KNOW. HEAR ME OUT.)
Yes, Max is often seen as “the dumb one.”  Yes, Ravenclaws are perceived as “the smart house.”  And while I’ve just demonstrated that there’s a brain under all the Max weirdness, I’m not about to argue that he’s secretly a genius.  He misses the mark more often than he hits it, and oftentimes when he hits it, it’s through coincidence or dumb luck or Insane Troll Logic that’s impossible for anyone but Max to follow.  But I do believe he operates on logic, just his own wacky version of it.
The thing about Max is that he’s neither as dumb as most people think he is, nor is he as smart as he thinks he is.  He’s somewhere in between, and the fact that people never quite know where exactly he falls on that scale is kind of the point.
In fact, part of the reason I struggled with Max was because I was trying to figure out where exactly he did fit in:
He can be selfish enough at times to argue Slytherin Primary, the stereotypically “selfish” House, but he’s missing Justin’s protective streak.  He doesn’t feel that same sense of duty towards his family that Justin does; when Mason breaks Alex’s heart in “Wizards vs. Werewolves,” Justin turns on him instantly because he Hurt His Little Sister And Is Therefore Bad, while Max is the one most willing to give Mason a chance, because he has his own reasons for wanting Mason in his life.  Yet, he still clearly cares enough about his family to rule out the possibility that they don’t factor into his morality at all, not to mention how easy it is for them to influence him.
His more humble ending of inheriting his father’s sub shop might make people think Hufflepuff Primary, but there’s even less justification for such a sorting upon scrutiny.  As I’ve touched on above, the staunch loyalty to community isn’t all that important to him, and he’s also not all that into traditions.  There’s no compulsion to help strangers, he doesn’t really make enemies but he kind of just ignores people he doesn’t like (or shatters them in a million pieces on accident), and let’s not forget that he unleashed countless monsters in New York City that killed all the Monster Hunters just to win the competition… even if he did do it when his Conscience was separate from the rest of him.  Not exactly behavior you’d expect from the morality system of “a person’s a person no matter how small.”
Speaking of Conscience, it’s notable that he argues with it, rather than accepting his advice. I’m still a little unclear as to how much this matters (there’s definitely room to argue that most of his brain went into Conscience as well, and that whole plotline was… weird), but even with his Conscience inside his body, he seems to lack that moral drive Alex has.  Gryffindor Primaries have this embedded sense of justice deep within their characters. Even when it’s hidden most of the time, like in Alex’s case, or when it becomes twisted into something dark and dangerous, or becomes Stripped of its certainty, there’s still this sense that there is Right and Wrong in this world, that trusting your gut should lead you to the right conclusion, and that it’s wrong to ignore it.  I have a hard time remembering if there’s really any situation where Max gets that gut feeling of Something Being Wrong at all, much less acting on it with a Heroic Plan… at least, not without convincing.
But Max can be convinced, and that’s key.  Alex often takes advantage of this to manipulate him for her own selfish ends, such as talking him into paying her for handing out fliers to her zombie prom, but more often it’s his parents that act as his voice of reason, whether it’s convincing him to go after the “deli robber,” convincing him to give his siblings a fair shot at the Wizard Competition, or convincing him to tell his girlfriend the truth… and then unconvincing him of that when he takes it too literally and tells her he’s a wizard.
Actually, Max is prone to misinterpreting advice in this way while trying to follow it to the letter— he does this when he tries to sell fountain water with a puppy, as well, because his mom told him to “add something to it.”  I think he is, to an extent, aware of his own intellectual limits.  He knows he misses the mark a lot of the time, so he’s often willing to trust other people’s judgment over his own, so long as they can get it through to him in a way that he thinks makes sense.
But beyond that, he’s often willing to question “common knowledge” in a way the other characters don’t. When Justin tries to tell him he can’t make life out of the stuff from his room, he simply replies, “Where’s it say that?”  In season 4, when there’s a distinct possibility that he’ll win the competition, he expands the sub shop business by making the Wizard Portal into a Drive-Thru, which genuinely worked as a business plan until Jerry took it too far.  Later that season, he saves his siblings by creating a black hole and then jumping through it to pull them to safety from the black hole in Alex’s apartment.  Like, that was his idea.  He came up with that.  It was weird, it was risky, it was unconventional, it could’ve been incredibly stupid… and it worked.
And that’s what I keep coming back to with this Ravenclaw Primary sorting— that sense of ingenuity, curiosity, and the willingness to experiment.  On one hand, you have your System Claws, who are dedicated to The Rules because they’ve been convinced that living by them is The Best Way To Live, and on the other hand, you have those that are willing to challenge conventional wisdom and try new things.  It’s this willingness to question that I personally attribute to a Ravenclaw mentality, rather than inherent intellectual ability or a large knowledgebase.  While Max may not have the latter, he has the former in spades, and that, more than anything, is really what told me that he truly belongs here.
Conclusion:
Max Russo is a Ravenclaw Primary and a Slytherin Secondary.
As a Slytherin Secondary, Max often likes to confuse and obfuscate to get what he wants, is flexible in his methods, and can even be manipulative when he wants to be.  He’s also relatively comfortable with himself, thus he often lives in a Neutral State where he says whatever’s on his mind without thinking much about danger or whether he’ll be understood.
His Ravenclaw Primary is as curious as it is undefined, and operates on a logic that only Max truly understands.  While this leads him astray more often than not, this also allows him to break from tradition and try new things, and this unconventional thinking can sometimes lead to better solutions than anyone else could’ve come up with.  However, it also comes with a set of brakes in the form of taking input from others.  It’s not always easy to get through to Max, but he can be reasoned with, which in his case, is probably for the best.
In this combination, we find a character who truly dances to the beat of his own drum.  As the most flexible Secondary and Primary, respectively, Max is a conundrum to most who meet him, confusing even to those who know him best.  That said, being the Russo who “goes with the flow” the most often, he’s also probably the Russo that has the most fun.  He’s certainly more fun to write about than I was expecting him to be!  I’m glad I did, and it’s good to be back.

Can you talk a little about jeddy's future kids? Or about them being dads, in general.
Keep in mind my headcanon jeddy kids are probably different from the majority of people’s headcanons. I’ve seen Big Name jeddy authors say pretty firmly that they don’t think Jeddy would EVER have kids, and that’s fine because everyone has different headcanons. I think differently, and I’ve spent a lot of time thinking of their kids, developing personalities for all of them, and I really, really love them.
A quick disclaimer, I do not care how they have these children, so long as they have babies. I let the reader decide how the kids came around. Adoption, surrogate, trans-character, mpreg, I do not care, it’s readers choice.
Teddy and James both REALLY love kids, first of all, and they discuss having kids before they get married. They also want to have more than one, because growing up Teddy missed having a sibling (even though he had the Wotters and Scorpius, it wasn’t exactly the same thing). They both wanted their kid to have siblings so they would always have someone to turn to even when Teddy and James were gone.
They end up having four kids: two boys and two girls.
Their first child is a boy they name Remus Harold Lupin. He ends up being a Gryffindor like James. He loves Quidditch like most of his family and his personality is probably closest to that of James Sr (his great-grandad). He’s very bubbly and outgoing, confident, brave, reckless, creative. He’s very similar to Jamie and gets along super well with his Aunt Lily. His best friend is his cousin Luke (Lily’s son), and he’s very protective of his younger siblings (though he’s not afraid to tease them and fuck with them because all great siblings harass each other).
Their second son is Dorian Lyall Lupin. Dorian is the closest they could get to Nymphadora “Dora”, and it was actually James’ idea. Dorian is really quiet compared to his older brother. He inherited some of Teddy’s Metamorph abilities, but they’re “watered down” so to speak. He’s only able to change the color of his eyes. For Dorian, however he’s conceived, he’s Teddy’s biological son. And remember that Teddy is related to pure blood families who have a very long history of incestual reproduction. That shows up in Dorian as an auto-immune deficiency and anemia. Basically the long history of mixing incest as well as the bits of werewolf blood that passes to him made him very sick and fragile. It’s pretty bad when he’s a kid, but they’re able to manage it so he can go to Hogwarts. He’s sorted into Hufflepuff like Teddy, but he spends a lot of his time at Hogwarts in the infirmary with a Healer. He’s a very gentle boy, and he’s very intelligent. He’s also sassy as fuck, so don’t get into an argument with him. He shares a room with his brother at home, which was Remus’ idea because he wants to look after his brother.
Their daughter’s are twins, and they didn’t plan to have two more kids (just the one), but they love them both.
Andromeda Hope Lupin was born first. A Gryffindor like her oldest brother, and she inherited Teddy and Tonks’ full metamorphmagus abilities. She’s fucking chaos, and worse than Remus. A Quidditch player like her brother, and BRUTAL. She’s more interested in the physical aspects of magic than the intellectual, but she’s brilliant, and a way better prankster than Remus. Think a chaotic mix of Tonks, James, Fred, George, Charlie, and Sirius: That’s her.
The youngest is Minerva Maeve Lupin (or Minni-May as Andy and Remus like to call her, which she fucking hates). Yes she was named after McGonagoll, and yes she’s McGonagoll’s favorite. She’s sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts (which Albus thinks is fucking hysterical), and she’s deadset on either becoming Minister for Magic or the next Hogwarts Headmistress. She’s very blunt and no-nonsense, and is the last person who would join her siblings or cousins in their shenanigans. She’s quiet like Dorian, but her silence is more seething and glaring and quietly planning destruction than the lack of wanting to talk. She is VERY ambitious, but she loves her family very much and would willingly give up on a once in a lifetime opportunity if her family needed her. She’s probably the second most level headed out of her siblings and cousins (My Headcanon Scorbus kid is the first), and thinks Remus and Andy are pains. She gets along with Dorian the best (but all of them get along with Dorian best because that’s just the kind of chill, mellow guy he is).
James and Teddy are really good parents. They’re supportive and attentive and love their babies to death. That’s what I got right now.
Thanks for this ask, it was fun.

30 Questions About Your Dragon Age Protagonists
from @littlebirdofprey - I reblogged it here in case anyone else wants to do it.
Warden(s): Aster Amell, Morgan Walker
Hawke(s): Cal and Ava Hawke
Inquisitor: Tash Adaar
What would your Warden generally think of your Hawke and your inquisitor?
Aster thinks Tash is the most adorable thing. He also secretly approves of Cal letting his old friend Anders go free. He wouldn’t trust Ava much, considering she is in a relationship with a man who hates mages and a man Aster calls a “warmongering ex-Chantry boy.”
Ava reminds Morgan of Morrigan, although he’d never tell either of them that. He thinks Cal is a fool who is incapable of taking things seriously. He feels protective of Tash, thinking the boy is too young to have such responsibility on him.
What would your Hawke generally think of your warden and your Inquisitor?
Considering Cal adopts Tash with Varric, he enjoys the boy’s company, but thinks Tash could loosen up a little. He underestimates Aster because the Chancellor seems so soft and friendly. Cal thinks Morgan is too dour and serious. Ava finds it hard to get over her distrust of Qunari, but finds Tash to be pleasant enough, if a tad annoying. She respects Aster for being a mage in a position of power. She is completely indifferent to Morgan.
What would your Inquisitor generally think of your warden and your Hawke?
Tash looks up to Cal because he seems so cool, especially after reading The Tale of the Champion. He’s disappointed that Ava seems to judge him for his horns and their relationship will never be any warmer than tepid. He likes Aster because they both have similar personalities. He might have a slight crush on Morgan because he’s very handsome.
What would they think about each other’s love interests (if they romanced someone of course)
Aster dislikes Fenris simply because Fenris would hate him on principle. He thinks Sebastian is a fool and cretin. He would get along with Varric. Morgan appreciates Fenris’ position as valid, since mages are dangerous, but he can’t stand Sebastian’s Chanty self-righteousness.
Ava and Cal are both surprised that Morrigan and Morgan are a couple. Birds of a feather, they suppose... Cal thinks Aster did well marriage-wise. Ava thinks Alistair is a bit of a ditz.
Tash thinks Aster and Alistair are the cutest couple, and wants to have a relationship like theirs. Surprisingly, Tash likes and respects Morrigan. He thinks Fenris is too rigid against mages and... well, Sebastian was his least favorite character in The Tale of the Champion. Tash adores Varric.
Is your inquisitor jealous that both the warden and Hawke have a mabari hound?
Yes. Tash loves mabari.
What would they think of each other’s combat skills/techniques?
All of them are surprised at Tash’s mastery of magic. Morgan shapeshifts in combat and is surprisingly physical for a mage, which Cal appreciates. Aster’s healing magic is universally appreciated. None of the mages thinks much of Ava’s force magic. Tash likes Cal’s flashy style, while Morgan and Aster disapprove.
What would your inquisitor and warden think of what happened in Kirkwall? Would they have supported Hawke’s decisions?
Tash admires Cal, but wishes that Tal-Vashoth and Vashoth didn’t receive the brunt of the blame for the Arishok’s actions. They aren’t Qunari. Qunari could be humans, even. He wonders, though, if siding with the Chantry against the Qunari would have been any better.
Aster is horrified that his old friend Anders could have blown up the Chantry. This is not the friendly young apprentice nor the snarky, kind Warden he knew. He approves of Hawke siding with the mages over the Chantry.
Morgan has very little opinion of the events in Kirkwall beyond how they effect his family. His wife is trying to mingle her way into Celene’s ear to sponsor her research into the Crossroads - he hasn’t got time to worry about a Chantry being blown up.
Would your warden or Hawke have actually accepted the role of inquisitor if Cassandra had located them as she’d planned to? Would they have been a good leader for the Inquisition?
Aster is not exactly hidden, but as the King-Consort and Chancellor of Ferelden, as well as Arl of Amaranthine, he’s not in any position to become Inquisitor. However, he would have been exceptional in the role, having built up connections over ten years and remaining a powerful warrior.
Morgan would not accept under any circumstance. He’s engrossed in being a father and a research assistant to his wife, as well as helping Warden-Commander Caron search for a cure to the Taint. He’s too unconcerned with people’s opinion to be a good Inquisitor.
Ava might have accepted the role, but she’s worried she might be pregnant, and doesn’t want to risk the possible future heir to Starkhaven’s throne. She’d be terrible as Inquisitor, being far too ruthless (and contemptuous of Orlesians) to win the people’s hearts.
Cal would not have accepted. He’s done his part for the people, he thinks, and he can’t give any more of himself than he already has. He’s content to stay by Varric’s side for the rest of his days, simply reading about adventures in his husband’s novels. He’d be a good Inquisitor, though, with his diplomatic style and easy charm.
Do your protagonists share the same opinions on the Chantry?
No. Aster is a believer in the Maker and the Chantry. He knows things aren’t perfect, but thinks the Chantry can help improve. Ava also believes in the Chantry, although she disapproves of the Circles.
Cal doesn’t like the Chantry. He doesn’t believe in the Maker, and he doesn’t think the Chantry is good for much more than bigotry and fanaticism. Morgan also has a dislike for the Chantry, although he figures it’s possible the Maker exists.
Tash believes in the Maker, but not Andraste. For all anybody knows, the lady could have been crazy, or manipulating people like he’s been doing. So he puts Leliana on the Sunburst Throne because even if the Chant is utter nonsense, she can use it to help people.
Do your protagonists share the same opinions on mages rights?
Yes. All of them believe that mages should have the same rights as non-mages, and that it is wrong to imprison them in the circles.
Do your protagonists share the same opinions on blood magic?
No. While nearly all of them disapprove of blood magic, it is for different reasons. Aster hates blood magic because the Chantry says it is wrong. Cal doesn’t trust it. Tash thinks that it’s too dangerous to trust people with.
Morgan doesn’t think blood magic itself is inherently bad, just the practitioners. Ava 10/10 would use (and has used) blood magic, although she refrains in front of her lovers and friends.
Do your protagonists share the same opinions on The Game?
Fereldens tend to hate the game on principle, so Aster, Cal, and Ava all have a dislike for Orlesian politics, although Aster and Cal tend to excel at it by being friendly people. It’s harder for Ava.
Morgan thinks it’s stupid, but he knows it’s a fact of Orlesian life and determines he won’t be caught not knowing the rules. He is just as responsible as Morrigan is for their rise to power as the Empress’ Court Sorcerers.
Tash loves the Game, probably because he’s a natural. He’s also young enough that he doesn’t quite understand the severity of some of the moves necessary to excel in the game, so he’s quite a dangerous opponent. He and Josephine and Leliana make a threatening trio.
If they’d been in each other’s places would they have made the same or different choices? And who would they have romanced, if anyone?
Roughly the same. Cal might have put Anora on the throne and romanced either Leliana or Zevran. Ava would have defiled those Ashes and probably tried to bag Zevran or Alistair. Tash would have gone roughly the same, except he would let Alistair stay a Warden and might have wiggled his way into becoming an Arl.
Aster might have executed Anders. He wouldn’t have romanced anyone. Morgan might have tried to play the political game and try to remove or assassinate Meredith before things could escalate. He might have gravitated to Merrill, Isabela, or Anders. Tash would have sided at various times against the Chantry and the Qunari, possibly making more chaos. Varric totally would have adopted him then, too.
Aster would love to have met Cullen again after all those years and might have tried to romance him. He’d put Briala on the throne. Morgan would go mostly similar, but he’d romance Josephine and perhaps he might have had something with Solas. Cal would have gone with Celene and saved the mages and romanced the Iron Bull or Josephine. Ava would have disbanded the Templars to control them and then romanced Blackwall.
Would your protagonists have the same character alignment?
Aster, Morgan, Tash: Neutral Good (Aster wavers between Neutral and Lawful Good; Tash has some Neutral Evil in him because he’ll do his best to advance himself and his loved ones while doing good)
Cal: Chaotic Good
Ava: Chaotic Neutral or Neutral Evil
Would your protagonists have the same Hogwarts house?
Cal: Gryffindor
Tash: Hufflepuff
Aster, Morgan: Ravenclaw
Ava: Slytherin
If Origins and Inquisition had the 3 personalities (Diplomatic, Sarcastic, Aggressive) which would your warden and inquisitor have predominately been? And what one did your Hawke have?
Morgan would be clearly Sarcastic. Aster would be totally Diplomatic.
Tash would be Diplomatic.
Cal was a clean middle Diplomatic-Sarcastic, though Diplomatic won out, and Ava was Aggressive with some Sarcastic.
What is the biggest similarity between your protagonists?
They all depend hard on their companions/love interests. Aster and Morgan both went through some serious culture shock because Aster had been in the Circle as long as he could remember and Morgan was from a completely different world. Cal suddenly felt like he didn’t have to be alone in protecting and raising his siblings and could have some friends and fun for once. Ava learned from a young age that she needed to look out for number one, but finds it helpful to lean on her companions and rewarding when they lean on her. Tash had recently lost his entire family, and the Inner Circle became a new family group for him, giving him new parents, aunts, uncles, and siblings.
What is the biggest difference between your protagonists?
How selfless they are. Ava is the most selfish and power-hungry, wanting to impose her will on a world that has tried its best to marginalize her. She’ll use everything in her power, from pushing Sebastian to make them rulers of Starkhaven to using blood magic. Although he’s a lovely person, Tash might be the second most selfish, as he’s a child and of course he’s going to want to promote his own needs and his new family over everyone else. Then comes Morgan, who really does have a heroic personality and kind of adopts anyone he meets who needs help, but his main focuses, in order, are Kieran, Morrigan, and himself. Cal is self-sacrificing, but a reluctant hero through and through who just wanted to coast through life without having to take care of much. He learns by Inquisition that maybe he doesn’t have to be responsible for the world anymore. Aster truly wants to help people, which kind of makes him and Alistair the best rulers of Ferelden, even if he needs to learn how to take breaks.
Who handles responsibility the best? And who handles it the worst?
Aster handles responsibility with grace and expedience. He does everything on time and is very useful in managing others. Alistair does his best to teach him to slow down and calm down.
Cal hates being responsible for something. He’s been responsible for his siblings all his life and just wants to relax a little.
Do they share any of the same hobbies?
Not really. Aster, Tash, and Ava are all avid readers.
Would you ever ship any of them together?
Possibly Morgan/Aster, Morgan/Ava, or Morgan/Cal, but nothing else.
How old were each of your protagonists at the start of their respective games? Do you think their age affected the choices they made? Looking back would they have done any major action differently?
Aster was only 19 at the start of Origins, while Morgan was a more reasonable 23. While still young, neither of them would have changed their decisions.
Not entirely sure how old the Hawkes were, but Cal was a young adult and Ava a teenager at the beginning. By Inquisition, Cal is in his mid-to-late thirties and Ava in her late twenties.
Tash is around 12-13 at the start of Inquisition.
How do each of your protagonists handle loss?
Aster: Reasonably well.
Morgan: Alright.
Ava: Moves right on.
Tash: cries a lot but moves to healing.
Cal: poorly.
What is/was their relationship with their family like?
For Aster, non-existent. He was taken to the Circle at a very young age and does not remember his family. They disowned their mage son and had no contact. Morgan loved his father, but his mother was verbally and at times physically abusive. Leandra always treated Cal less than because (unbeknownst to him), he was the son of Malcolm with an elven woman. He always felt like she hated him and was using him as a nanny to the Twins and Ava. He gets along with his sisters better than Carver. Ava always felt neglected and forgotten by Leandra. She gets along with her brothers and has an intense rivalry with Bethany. Tash had a wonderful family, barring his Saarebas birth mother who tried to take him back to the Qun.
Do any of your protagonists marry and/or have children?
Aster marries Alistair after many years of being his Chancellor and lover. They may seek to adopt a child or use a surrogate for Alistair to create an heir.
Cal marries Varric after reuniting post-Inquisition and they adopt Tash (and Cole).
Ava marries Sebastian to become Princess of Starkhaven, but is in a polyamorous relationship with him and Fenris. She may be pregnant with Fenris’ child.
Morgan has Kieran with Morrigan and a relationship with her, though they aren’t married in the eyes of the Chantry.
Tash: maybe in the future.
What would their fears on the graves in the fade during Here Lies The Abyss be?
Aster: Hopelessness
Tash: Solitude
Cal: Never Being Free
Ava: Powerlessness
Morgan: This Is All A Dream
How do they each feel about the Deep Roads?
Aster: “It’s creepy and I hate it.”
Tash: “Get me out. Get me out. Get me out....”
Cal: “It’s okay, once you get used to the dark. And the claustrophobia. And the oppressive silence. It’s actually kinda nice. Not saying I’d build a summer home here, but...”
Ava: “I have a feeling the Maker was not in a good mood when He made these tunnels.”
Morgan: “Nope.”

My Hero Academia: Class 1-A Sorted Into Their Hogwarts Houses
My Hero Academia boasts a large, colorful cast of characters. The heart of the show is U.A. High School's Class 1-A. They're all pursuing their dream to become pro-heroes and fight against nefarious villains. They're often pitted against each other or against powerful adults who want to wipe out the next generation of heroes. Seeing them under pressure gives us a chance to see their true colors.
Since all of the characters are trying to become professional superheroes, you can probably make a case for any of them to be in Gryffindor. But what would the fun of that be? We've gone through the entire class and assigned them their Hogwarts houses.

No further questions.
9 Hagakure, Koda, & Sato - Hufflepuff
Tumblr media
Let's get some C-listers out of the way first. These characters don't get a lot of characterization, but, from what we do know, they all seem like they'd fit into Hufflepuff. Hagakure is a bubbly, easy-going character. She's shown a tendency to be easily manipulated, but maintains an upbeat attitude anyway.
Koda is probably the most tenderhearted of all 1-A's students. His quirk gives him the ability to speak to animals, and he prefers their company to people.
Sato's quirk gives him extreme strength after consuming sugar, and, at first glance, he might seem more like a Gryffindor. However, his real passion is baking, and he was even humbly surprised that his classmates like his sweets so much.

8 Jiro & Aoyama - Slytherin
Tumblr media
Jiro is a very pragmatic individual and she presents herself as indifferent to most people. In particular, she doesn't stand for the nonsense of some of the boys in her class and isn't afraid to put them in their place. However, she's much warmer with certain friends, particularly Yaoyorozu, and is quick to defend those closest to her. She's also independent and calculating and would fit right in with Slytherin.
Aoyama is also a Slytherin, but for different reasons. He embodies the arrogance of Slytherin house, as he's always trying to impress people with his lineage or his looks. Aoyama doesn't make it easy to get to know him personally and holds himself apart from his peers. He is also more likely to keep himself out of danger than to save his skin rescuing people.

7 Sero & Shoji - Hufflepuff
Tumblr media
Sero's primary characteristic (besides his weird tape elbows) is his perpetual smile. He's one of the most sociable students in the class and can make friends with anyone. He prefers to take it easy and make jokes, but, when push comes to shove, he'll lend a helping hand to someone in need.
Shoji, in spite of his intimidating appearance, is also actually very friendly. He's gentle and tries to protect people when he can since his multiple strong arms can also be used to shield people. He doesn't have problems working on a team with most people and doesn't hold grudges, clearly making him a Hufflepuff.
6 Kirishima & Tsuyu - Gryffindor
Tumblr media
Kirishima deeply respects anyone who shows off a brave and noble attitude and he extends his friendship to those who live up to his expectations. He's also willing to call people out when they behave dishonestly or cowardly. Before attending UA, he thought his own quirk wasn't flashy enough to make him a pro-hero, but, since joining UA, his confidence has grown and he presents himself as tough and fiery. He's more concerned with helping people than following rules and will happily risk himself to aid his friends.
Tsu is less obviously Gryffindor than Kirishima, but she's still a straightforward and very responsible person. Since she has experience taking care of her younger siblings, she knows what it means when other people rely on you to be brave. She also has some of the strongest morals of the entire class. She believes that breaking laws whenever they feel like makes her and her friends no better than villains. Tsu isn't afraid to defend her beliefs and herself even against the people she cares about.

5 Kaminari & Ojiro - Hufflepuff
Tumblr media
Kaminari tends towards recklessness and might, at first glance, look like a Gryffindor. However, he's one of the students most likely to panic in a combat situation and wouldn't fit among the brave lions. Instead, he's a friendly, sociable guy who even managed to make friends with Bakugou. More of a well-meaning prankster than anything else, he fits in with casual Hufflepuff.
Ojiro, on the other hand, embodies the Hufflepuff ideal of hard work. He's dignified, humble, and won't accept praise he doesn't feel he's earned. Also, as a martial arts hero, he's trained extensively to reach the level of mastery he has over his quirk.
4 Tokoyami & Iida - Slytherin
Tumblr media
Okay, just because he's a bird doesn't mean Tokoyami belongs in Ravenclaw. Don't be discriminatory. He's a very focused and reserved person and often ignores questions or requests from his classmates if he thinks they're pointless. He's also very aware of his power and his limitations. Tokoyami is more willing to back down and live another day than push himself in a dangerous situation.
Iida, meanwhile, is the definition of doing the most. This is because he's trying to live up to his family's reputation. He has the ambition to be the best pro-hero in the Iida family, and he's seeking respect from his peers by being their class representative.
3 Uraraka & Ashido - Hufflepuff
Tumblr media
One of the most empathetic and people-focused members of Class 1-A, Ururaka could comfortably be a Hufflepuff. She's often the first to notice if any of her classmates are struggling or upset. Despite having a difficult life as a child with her and her parents going to extreme measures to save money, she continues to put on a cheerful face. She has a strong inner strength and is a reliable friend.
Ashido is a Hufflepuff as well, but of the more carefree variety. She's happiest hanging out with her friends. She's less concerned about school than she is about daydreaming about the love lives of her classmates.
2 Yaoyorozu & Todoroki - Ravenclaw
Tumblr media
Yaoyorozu is a natural leader in many situations, frequently able to keep a cool and level head even when facing off against villains. She doesn't tolerate failure either from herself or her peers. In fact, she can be pretty blunt when pointing out their mistakes. However, this comes from a place of wanting to help them all become the best heroes they can be. Her perfectionism and her dedication to her studies seem solidly Ravenclaw.
Todoroki's house, however, is probably one of the most hotly debated among fans. We think he also fits into Ravenclaw. Originally very reserved and unemotional, he focused only on his studies and on getting stronger. In later arcs, the friendship of his classmates has loosened him up somewhat, but he still tends to be a lone wolf. He relies on his own abilities and knowledge more than anything else.

1 Midoriya & Bakugou - Gryffindor
Tumblr media
Everyone in the world knows Deku's a Gryffindor. The boy's based his entire belief system on being his admiration for All Might, the symbol of peace. He truly believes in the most basic tenet of heroism: protecting those in need. Since he's completely invested in his moral code, no holds barred, he's willing to repeatedly sacrifice himself to defeat evil and save innocent lives. You only need to see him break all his bones a couple of times before that's perfectly clear.
Bakugou, despite being Deku's rival, is also a Gryffindor. In fact, the two of them have a very similar set of morals when you get down to it. They both hero-worship All Might and want to follow in his footsteps.
Bakugou just has a chip on his shoulder. He feels like he's being overshadowed by Deku, of all people, and he pushes himself even harder to prove his worth. Just in case it wasn't clear he's a Gryffindor, he does this in the most impulsive way possible, sometimes putting himself at risk. But, at the end of the day, he wants to be the number one hero just as badly as Midoriya.

Age: 19-22 (human verse) / can age into the hundreds in her supernatural verse, technically
Date of Birth: December 15
Hometown: San Francisco, CA
Species: Human / Half Pixie in her supernatural verse
Ethnicity: Vietnamese
Nationality: American
Gender: Cisfemale
Pronouns: She/Her
Orientation: Bisexual Biromantic
Religion: She prefers not to think too deeply, and isn’t highly philosophical. Agnostic would probably fit her best. Her mother is a devout Christian, and her father is pagan.
Occupation: Stand-up comedian. She also works odd jobs (waitress, barista, etc.) in her earlier years.
Language(s) Spoken: English, some Vietnamese
Voice: She speaks very quickly and has a fairly high pitched voice. Some could find her voice annoying or grating.
Physical Appearance
Face Claim: Lana Condor
Hair: Her hair is dark, and usually kept short. She loves her long hair, but it’s too much upkeep. / Supernatural verse specifically: Even though she doesn’t spend much time in nature, she almost always has random leaves stuck to her hair.
Eyes: Dark brown
Height: 5'3 / supernatural verse: more like 4′11, lol. Barely 5′, but she definitely claims to be 5′.
Build: Tiny. Just tiny and adorable.
Tattoos: N/A, she’s weird around needles. She’d faint.
Piercings: Ears
Clothing Style: Chaotic. Bright, neon colors. Sparkles. Mismatched clothing. But honestly? Frankie is a borderline nudist, especially in her supernatural verse. Nudity is NOT sexual to her, it’s comfortable. If anything, a cute lingerie set is more sexy than just walking around naked. She feels more comfortable when she’s wearing...less. She’d prefer to walk around in just a cute pair of earrings. (There’s a lot of Pixie lore as to why this is, lol, but I won’t get into it right now.)
Usual Expression: Excited! Ready to take on the world! Hyper focused, especially on the conversation going on around her. She’s a people watcher. She listens intensely to conversation being had by strangers, and uses them in her stand-up routines and screenplays. Fun fact: she has an amazing memory, but only when it comes to things that people have said, conversations, etc.
Health
Physical Conditions: N/A
Neurological Conditions: N/A
Allergies: She’s allergic to pollen. This is especially hilarious in her supernatural verse, given that Pixies usually live in trees/out in nature. This definitely comes from her human DNA, and is part of the reason she rarely chills with her Pixie fam.
Sleeping Habits: She loves to sleep, but prefers to take cat naps. She’ll wake up in the middle of the night, after maybe 3-4 hours of sleep, write, bake, etc. and then just go back to sleep at 5 AM or some shit. She wild.
Eating Habits: Me: Frankie? Food? Her: YES! Me: what food? Frankie: YES! She eats a lot. She loves food. Comfort food is her favorite, and for her comfort food is Vietnamese food, but only when her mom makes it.
Exercise Habits: Her mouth gets more exercise than the rest of her body, in that it’s always running. But really, she’s fairly lazy.
Emotional Stability: A solid 5/10, for the fact that she represses her emotions alone.
Sociability: She LOVES talking. She’ll talk to strangers. She’ll do big talk, she’ll do small talk. Blah blah blah blah blah.
Body Temperature: Hot-natured. She’s always yelling: IS IT HOT IN HERE, OR IS IT JUST ME? This is another reason she likes to wear as little clothing as possible.
Addictions: N/A
Drug Use: Alcohol and the occasional joint, when she’s chilling with her comedian pals.
Personality
Label: The Clown
Traits: Immature, Fun Loving, Good Humored, Nonsensical, Unhelpful, Spontaneous.
Goals/Desires: She’s really just here for a good laff. If she can make one person laugh every day, her goal is fulfilled.
Fears: Losing her mother. She knows that she’ll outlive her mother someday, probably someday soon, and this is terrifying to her.
Hobbies: Writing, talking, ‘hanging out’ (me: is that a hobby? her: YES!), long walks, stand-up comedy, coffee making, window shopping, people watching, eating, cooking.
Favourites
Weather: Cool, but sunny.
Colour: Yellow.
Music: Everything and anything. She has an affinity towards cheesy love songs.
Movies: Raunchy stoner comedies. She has no shame. She loves Kevin Smith and Adam Sandler.
Sport: "No.”
Beverage: Anything fruity and delicious. Pina coladas make her feel like she’s on vacation. “LIFE IS A VACATION!!”
Food: Pho
Animal: Monkeys
Family
Father: Francisco Vu (Pixie name is Bear, lol. No last name, so he took Bian’s. CUTE.)
Mother: Bian Vu

Note
ed (if no one has asked), vivi, aaand leopardpool! you asked me about a cat i ask you about a cat,
ed
as much as i call him out constantly for his creepy-ass paintings, he has actually made something of an effort on denny to tone it down, especially with lorraine around. he’s kind of gotten the feeling it might upset her after the whole valak thing, which is also the reason he’s hidden that one with the Collection after it showed up in the icc attic. silent hills may or may not completely destroy this tho
ed is the absolute 100% most lukewarm person when it comes to halloween. he gets enough of that spooky stuff on the job okay leave him alone with it for the rest of the year. he’s a total sap when it comes to handing candy out to the neighborhood kids tho
he gets really domestically into christmas tho and yall can BELIEVE its gonna be An Event on denny this year considering that he actually has people to celebrate with now.
he’s also 100% That Husband who will just like bring home flowers or something for lorraine for no occasion other than the fact that he was just thinking about her. Disgusting
alright listen to me. listen. this is a thing i had to briefly ponder last night for his icc with volle but if u think for a second ed would be like..... anything-phobic u need to get the hell out of my christian home in jesus name ah pray. like listen there was absolutely that kinda shit going on in the 70s but have you MET this man. can you imagine him with that kind of hatred like honestly
this one’s based on a dumb inside joke but the only reason he thinks exorcist 2 is better than the original is that a) he’s never seen the original exorcist and b) i don’t....think exorcist 2 is a traditional exorcism movie? i’ve only seen reviews of it but anyway he was kind of :/ when the original exorcist came out because it felt like capitalizing on and sensationalizing what’s actually a dangerous ritual irl. i’ve put way too much thought into this for a joke wtf
he and lorraine don’t/didn’t (depending on whether we’re talking about them on denny or not) actually have too many like Close Adult Friends. neither of them are super eager to place that kind of trust in people not to be skeptical/dismissive of their work and thus, they just kind of keep to themselves and the few people they’ve managed to meet through their work. drew is a good example of this.
in that vein, ed usually tries to keep in contact with the people he and lorraine help out, especially in the wake of a case that was particularly hard on a family ie the perrons and the hodgesons. it’s usually just a phone call or something to make sure that everything’s okay and they’re not experiencing any kind of activity, but he and lorraine have been back to the perron house a couple of times for casual visits and he’ll occasionally like write a letter or something to the hodgesons.
literally the only reason he has a normal-ish sleep schedule on denny now (even more normal than it would be at home) is that there’s like literally nothing more comforting to him now than getting to have lorraine next to him while he’s falling asleep. he may or may not be mildly clingy when it comes to curling up with her at night.
HE’S A GRYFFINDOR im cementing this now.
vivi
she has a mild caffeine addiction and will legit get migraines if she doesn’t have her morning coffee.
she’s dyslexic, which is a fact that tends to surprise people considering how much she likes to read. the pink tint of her glasses helps her eyes to better make sense of the words on the page in front of her, and tbh she’s really into stuff like comic books and manga, where she can follow the story through visual pictures, and also audiobooks.
this isn’t headcanon but she plays electric guitar! and acoustic too, but she prefers the Loudness of the former.
listen mystery ben can pry the fact that vivi build arthur’s prosthetic arm out of my cold dead hands. she actually has a bachelor’s in engineering, particularly robotics, but given that she’s pretty focused on her paranormal investigating, she hasn’t done very much with it.
also not headcanon: her favorite video game series is silent hill. 3 is probably her favorite of the franchise and she definitely has Opinions regarding the later games in the series.
in that vein, she ran an cr1tikal-esque lp channel back home where she played a lot of horror games straight-facedly and rolled her eyes at a lot of them. sh4 and homecoming were definitely among these.
she’ll take any nicknames you wanna throw at her. ‘vivi’ is actually already short for ‘vivian’ but phoebe and arthur both have occasionally called her ‘vi’ or ‘viv’ and ‘blue’ and ‘blueberry’ were both affectionate nicknames from the latter. lewis would probably also have dorky nicknames for her if he did the talking thing.
mystery is her familiar and, back home, he typically shied away from talking around random strangers. on denny, he’s way less cautious about it and just kind of openly talks to anyone. it’s v freeing, if you ask him.
she has a fondness for spicy food and one of these days she’ll remember it’s because it was a specialty of the restaurant lewis’s family ran. she’s also big into cultural food, especially japanese, given her heritage.
she’s a ravenclaw if we’re doing hogwarts house sorting for all of these.
leopardpool
she’s Very Gay although given that she’s staunchly against taking a mate, this isn’t very likely to come up in her life.
she has a scar running down between her shoulder blades from a kithood incident -- she and tangleclaw and dappledawn were a Trouble-making Squad when they were younger
herb-gathering is a v relaxing thing for her, particularly because her knowledge of what different herbs look like is one of the few things she’s fairly confident in re: med cat skills.
she never knew her ~biological father, harepath, and never really considered him family (he died in a border dispute before she and her siblings were both), given that she was raised by a pair of Gay Moms. she’s met him in sharing tongues with starclan, though, and their relationship is only slightly awkward.
her main starclan guide, though, is rowanfall’s old mentor, ratnose who will prooobably be a starclan npc at some point on denny. he’s played a big part in soothing leopardpool’s insecurities and anxieties after rowanfall left and is kind of quietly disappointed in his apprentice for this nonsense. he’s fond of sagepaw too tho.
her relationship with sagepaw is.........a work in progress. she’s tried her hardest not to let memories of her mother taint their mentor/apprentice stuff, because even if it was against the warrior code and resulted in so much shit hitting the fan, it was dappledawn that kind of bluntly pointed out to her that it wasn’t sagepaw’s fault. it’s lucky that patience are some of sagepaw’s virtues tbh.
she adores dappledawn’s daughters, nettlepaw and smokepaw, and was eagerly anticipating being made an aunt again before the rifts took her -- tangleclaw’s mate was with kits at the time.
med cats are taught a little of how to defend themselves and how to hunt, but leopardpool has never been particularly good at either of them. at best, she relies on her dark pelt and light pawsteps to get close to prey, but she has a bad habit of not paying too much attention to where she’s stepping, resulting in a lot of snapping twigs at the last second.
which is kind of a shame, since her mothers named her leopardkit in the hopes that she’d be as quick and stealthy as a leopard one day. whoops!
i’ll just finish these all off with hogwarts houses -- she’s a hufflepuff.
