WIP Game: Pink
The kid digs up a pair of beat-up jeans and a black T-shirt with an obnoxiously bright hot pink print on it that says "LIVE WEIRD" that they apparently consider acceptable and puts both on. The clothes are way too big, but there's a studded leather belt that Jon is gonna put even money on belonging to the owner of the leather jacket, so that should keep the jeans up and the kid can roll up the cuffs. Though the T-shirt is just gonna have to do its best, Jon guesses. There is absolutely nothing to do about socks or shoes or underwear, but he figures those aren't really that important right now anyway.
The jacket actually fits the kid okay, surprisingly, so whoever it belongs to must be on the smaller side. It's definitely still too big for them, but more in a "they'll grow into it" kind of way.
The kid grins when they put the jacket on, visibly preening, and Jon immediately decides that he is going to buy every single album that every single one of the bands on it has ever dropped. There is zero reason to make that decision, since who knows if the kid is even gonna like music at all, much less specifically like anything punk, but Jon decides it anyway. It's a thing and it's happening, that's just how it is and is gonna be. He is taking this kid home with him and they're going straight to the first streaming app Jon sees on his phone and just going from there.
Also, he's introducing them to Ma Kent's apple pie and neapolitan ice cream and Dad's spaghetti recipe and all the joys of junk food and, like . . . he doesn't even know what else. TV? Movies? Gender studies? Probably gender studies would be helpful right now, considering.
And Krypto. Definitely Krypto. Jon is gonna whistle for Krypto immediately after they get out of this stupid godforsaken lab.

(Trying to make sense in the Simeon human >> demon pipeline. Very Headcsnnon heavy post so be warned)
Simeon steals the Ring of light and gets told off by Michael. Michael enters panic mode because that means Simeon messed up with a human life spawn and he would be punished/banished for this
(Reminder that in the conversation with Michael in S2OG, he mentions how If he would have been more like MC, things would have gone different and he wouldn't have lose Lucifer/his brothers. So in a way, trying to stop Simeon from falling/being punished Is his "second chance" on doing everything right)
The punishment for messing with a human life spawn Is basically being forced to wander through darkness for all eternity (both NB & OG mention different punishments for Lilith, my rule Is that the newer version it's whats considered canon unless stated otherwise), and going against the CR in general Is losing your angel status and become a fallen angel. So Simeon punishment was odd since the start
To stop the whole process of Simeon becoming a fallen angel, Michael turns Simeon into a human. In that way, Simeon doesn't have enough magic to go throught the whole metamorphosis. Also explains why he was defenseless for the whole S4OG
S3 happens and Simeon Is "human" the whole time. Probably in the same way that MC Is human (that they can see that he's not a regular human and has a supernatural origin, but still pretty weak by himself)
Raphael regularly checks on him for the whole S3, he was probably keep in the dark about how bad the situation situation Is, judging by his actitude in L48NB
S4 Happens and Raphael gets into the exchange program, to keep Simeon safe and to inform Michael about whatever changes he may be going through. Luke also says that Michael asks him more about Simeon so it's probably that Simeon being human just was a way to gain more time to fix the whole issue
** The whole Nightbringer/Time traveling arc happens (S1 & S2 of NB), not a lot happened here since the time barely moved in the present
They return to the present, Solomon cast a protective spell on Simeon and that's where everyone starts to see that something Is going on with Simeon. My theory Is that now Simeon has enough magic in himself to "transform"
(Also: Simeon apparently still has hidden power within himself, even after becoming "human" but tbh that's makes everything more confusing. Sry Solomon)
** Something that I found interesing Is that 7 Lessons after L41, this lesson was the one they choose to make reference to the past. Solomon references his time with MC in Cocytus hall. Does this mean something? Probably not. But I'm still on the cracktheory that Simeon & Nightbringer are in this together.

Tim orders himself very, very black coffee and Kon a hot chocolate with whipped cream and both of them a plate of pancakes and scrambled eggs, because Kon probably could use the protein and what kid doesn't like pancakes, and also because he doesn't want Kon to think he's taking advantage of him being "stupid" or lying to him about things. He'll eat any goddamn thing he has to if it'll help this poor kid trust him.
Hell, he'll blow up this reality's LexCorp, if he has to. Maybe go find a few more realities' versions too, if that's what it takes.

100% the reason they're specifically using the term pansexual in all statements regarding the companions is bc Rook can be nonbinary. And I'll be honest that does make my eye twitch the teeniest tiniest bit. But it's also really not a big deal, so I shant be mentioning it again past this point.

There is a universe in which i was caught up properly on CR whenever what the fuck went down and Imogen verbally and definitively declared that- after everything leading up to this and the back and forth and indecision- that she'd be willing to take down her mom if need be. and i would have been deeply insufferable and writing 20+ separate meta posts and liveblog yelling posts and shitposts. This is not that universe so instead we will put this post here where i can have wildly uninformed (aka 20 eps behind) Emotions about it until someday i actually catch up.
(I know. i accidentally wrote potentially wildly off base/deeply out of date meta again. what can i say. i like shaking the concept of An Imogen (even if it is Outdated Imogen) in a jar. sorry.)
Because i was watching long enough, I think, to see Imogen in the throes of the hope for something better, to understand that Imogen was viewing her mom was a figure and an idea and an answer, that would make things easier. Her mom was- gone, so early. And so her mom, in her mind, was not a person she was an idea, and there was so much hinged on that! Dogged determination and anger at her father and a deep seated dislike of the powers in her hands and head even as they gave her a guilty rush. There were promises there that maybe no one else had made, but Imogen believed. Things built up. Expectations made. Lore crafted, even unconsciously, around someone who was, yes, important to Imogen, but more importantly: Missing. Gone. A blank slate to be filled in. A promise of an answer guide to open questions.
And then she meets her mom, and Liliana Temult goes from a figure to a person- with all the bells and whistles and rough edges. She meets her mom and her mom turns her away. Tells her to run. Tells her she should go. Tells her to leave.
And Imogen doesn't. In the same way she kept visiting libraries, keps asking, kept pushing for answers when it was just about her magic and her headaches and the voices. Imogen always, always wants to know. She keeps digging, she keeps trying, she reaches out, over and over and keeps trying to touch this figure in mist until she's real under her hands, and. Evidence piles up- of deeds gone wrong, blood on her hands, a figure standing next to Otohan (her friends bodies scattered, lifeless, around Otohan). She keeps reaching out, keeps trying, and is rebuffed, over and over. Things get worse and the skies get redder and magic goes dead and she's still- unsure, because what if there's a better reason, what if there's a better way, there has to be a reason, why. There has to be, right- maybe if- maybe. Maybe-
Its just like- a person as an idea. As a symbol. As a promise. One you build yourself up around and towards. One you talk about, not talk to.
And then the fog clears, and they are a human.
(And she's your mom, and she's not what you imagined. She's done you wrong. She's done your loved ones wrong. She's hurt you. She's hurt others. She's going to keep hurting you. She is going to keep hurting everyone. She is too far gone to reason with. She is not listening to you. She is flawed. She is. dangerous. She looks so much like you. You look just like her. You are so similar. You have always known you were similar. You always hoped. You.
Are not her. You are not hers. She is not yours. She is not who you thought she was. She was always someone else. So are you.)
Imogen walks through the bases pretending to be her mother. Liliana is a known face- a powerful one, a figure people fear. A well known silhouette. Imogen slips into the shadows of it, sometimes, when it serves her, but we know- she knows- its all an act. All a lie.
Liliana, after all, is alive, and well, making choices that she believes in and fighting for things with a dogged determination maybe only matched by her daughter.
Imogen knows this. I think. There's a part of her that maybe wishes that wasn't the case.
"There is no loyalty with this blood." And after all- only living people bleed.
