yes yes the answer is yes! we are a mid-high support needs disabled autistic polyfragmented DID system with alters with a wide range of vebralness. a lot of us use forms of AACs or TTS in out of inner world / headspace and in real life. if you think you need it, just use it. it's stressful at first, but nonverbal communication is communication and it's a valid way to communicate. 🧩 - The Dreamdrop System

When you say you accept and support autistics you have to support us at all times
when:
• we're semi/nonverbal
• when we need AACs
• when we're having a meltdown
• when we're having a shutdown
• when we need help with hygiene
• we are overstimulated
• we are underestimated
• we are unmasking
• we act "more autistic"
• we stim a lot
• we have intense stims
• we have a tone issues
• we have low/fluctuating empathy
• we vocal/verbal stim
• we stim loudly
• we don't understand something
• we have a hard time relating

communication cards are a useful tool | i use my AACs cause they help me communicate
this was is our first attempt at communication cards. we made 2 sets. the muse is our system persona Dream, but its very doodle like and basic art.
we need to make more, cause we want to be able to use low tech to no tech communication. we have 1 set of shopping related communication cards we bought long ago.
we have made some paper communication boards in a paper portfolio thing. we need more no tech communication boards to have in case. we need more ways to communicate incase we can't use our phone or tablet AAC and TTS apps. we need to collect. - The Dreamdrop System

if someone talk in way that is hard understand or " word salad " , and want answer with something snarky or rude : should not , actually ! if can not think anything to say , should just not say anything .
at best , maybe engage with spam bot and get harmless laugh . but at worst , hurt actual person , who could have hard time for reasons like :
very tired
not sober
brain injury
active psychosis
active mania
AAC user ( hi ! )
cognitive disabilities in general
and more !
should just be nice . hurt very much when make sincere effort communicate , but people just point and laugh because seem loopy and broken .
