Okay but I'm going a bit insane about the growing disconnect of "maybe we're meant to harness it"/"maybe we're meant to fight it". They both thought they were on the same page when they said it, when actually they were on polar opposite ends of the same spectrum. Imogen meant "I never plan to give in to this power even if part of me wants to, I will continue fighting it, but it’s a comfort knowing there’s someone who understands the temptation and who I know won't judge and will still love me and understand if I ultimately fail and give in". Meanwhile to Laudna it meant "I've been in this struggle for longer than I can remember and I don’t know if I can do it much longer. I don’t know if I want to. I don’t know if I even should, or if giving in would be better for all of us because I'm a lost cause. You understand this about me and won't judge as I inevitably am doomed by the narrative, and you won't demand of me that I fight an inherent part of myself, even if it’s destroying me". And Imogen is finally catching on to this disconnect, is realizing that to Laudna their connection isn’t just understanding but an excuse, not too different from Lilliana. And, desperate of losing Laudna to power just like she did her mother, she says, 'if you let me go, I'm gone', meanwhile Laudna is going 'all I can do for you is die and let you go to lift you up' and both of them are going 'why are you so upset about this. i love you'.

I've seen much conjecture about Imogen's feelings and how much Laura put into all their little moments but I think ya'll are forgetting Laudna was absolutely not beating the allegations from as early as before they fought Otohan.
I mean- are we forgetting "I've never been in love before... I mean, that's not true, I deeply love Imogen *confused gay pause*"?? Are we forgetting "You have one of the biggest sparks I've ever seen. You don't need a pulse for that" "it pales in comparison to yours"????
Or "I certainly can't lose you" with the fondest look on her face? "You should never have to run into the storm alone". "I choke out, thought the pain, with whatever breath I have left, 'Imogen?'" "I think that depends on you, darling". "I'm still holding on to your hand. In the real world. I never stopped."
I mean, Marisha SAID she was making an unromanceable character but if I had to guess that also went out the window a while ago.

Also, I do love everything that happened last night, but also I am somewhat mourning the fact that the Hells had finally settled on a direction and a plan (the triple party assault) and now there’s a wrench in there and I swear to god if there’s more ridiculous circular debating, this time about the Archheart’s idea- XD

Prefacing that, again time zones, I've only been able to glean the latest CR episode and that I do not agree with their in-character opinions on the gods, I'd like to remind fans to try and not get super ugly about their criticism of Ashton Greymoore.
I'll be the first to throw my hands up and say they're among my favourite C3 characters so there may be bias, but I've been getting flashes of the Shard Incident from reactions towards their recent and vocal disdain for the gods. Disagree with them all you want, Taliesin knows that the gods can't simply leave since they're the one who said that the Wildmother would die if she left, but understand that it's a character flaw and if you recall the hardships of their backstory, the unanswered prayers, and that their only exchanges with the gods have required them to do something or, with the Dawnfather Angel, have been met with cold disregard, it's understandable how they got to feeling that way. Ashton has lived alone and been told they don't matter for a lot of their life; no gods, no family, no nurturing presence to guide them, they've been abandoned, used, and - with additional influence by the Dominox accusing them of wanting FCG to die - are currently between blaming themselves and the Changebringer for their closest friend's death.
Make no mistake Ashton is wrong, I think the self-confessed hypocrite with also self-confessed poor morality knows that deep down, or at least knows that they're not the kind of person who should be in charge. Vassalheim is a difficult place for a titan vessel to be in so it is unsure what they will do from here; perhaps investigate the Earth Titan? Commune with the Emperor and Empress? Or maybe be brought to the gods and be able to vent or reconcile with them (and maybe get some closure with FCG, speak with his spirit as like a mediator between the Hells and the Gods)? But it feels like Taliesin is being vocal for a reason, and it's either to invite Matt to challenge it (I've said in other comments but I would love if Ashton found some comfort, not worship or a pact but maybe just a dialogue, in the Everlight: a goddess of healing, temperance and redemption - all of which would help Ashton mentally - as unlikely as it'd be) or find another maybe primordial route to give Ashton a narrative tether towards stopping Predathos.
Let's just, not be cruel about the character, they are more than just their bad trauma and grief-led opinion on gods remember?

Kind of fascinated by how, initially, what brought Laudna and Imogen together were recognizing their similarities - the feeling of being an ostracized outsider whose presence evokes a not entirely unwarranted fear; of having powers granted by a mysterious patron they are largely in the dark about yet know, in their heart of hearts, is dangerous both to them and the world at large; of still being tempted and enamoured by this power despite their better judgement - and how they in recent episodes have started moving in polar opposite directions in how to deal with these dark powers.
Imogen has admitted to temptation but, as she sees more and more proof of the danger of both Predathos and the Ruby Vanguard, is violently resisting it. Laudna, meanwhile, has openly called herself a dead end. She can see no way out of her predicament and so instead of trying to fight she’s decided to try to harness as much of it as she can before it burns her out. For what seems like the first time, she and Imogen are truly at odds at where to go; Laudna says maybe we're destined to harness it, Imogen says maybe we're destined to fight it; Laudna is regressing and Imogen is growing; Laudna says move on if I die, Imogen says I don’t accept it. The very fact that Imogen went to the Dawnfather for help, the god with whom Laudna now has bitter history, is a fascinating choice. Would Laudna even accept that help? She certainly wouldn’t ever ask for it. Yet finding a new patron, someone to keep her going after Delilah, seems her only option, but it’s one she’ll never seek on her own because she can’t see the point. They connected thanks to their pasts and now, as they begin to look to their futures, their paths are diverging with Laudna treading blindly towards a dangerous end.

"Next time?"
The way these two words made me soft. That was the moment he realized that their night in Paris wasn't just a casual hook-up. The moment he realized this wasn't a one time thing and that Nathan wanted him around. That Nathan was actively seeking his company cause he liked him. And the way he's surprised yet utterly pleased?
The way my heart ached for Farouk when I first read the teachers bonus comic because he thought this night, which was special to him, was just a simple hookup for Nathan. His monologue about being inexperienced because he had only ever dated women and Nathan reassuring him that he doesn't want to rush things and that they'll do everything at their pace is literally so important to me.
This kind of dialogue wasn't in the show but you could somewhat sense it in all their scenes and little gestures. Idk, does this make sense? Lol. Just how they interacted and how calm and cautious Nathan was after their first kiss. This all send me.
Also, random, but... I saw Farouk and Ajayi and their journey getting compared with Nick or Charlie, but Farouk in this prom scene sort of reminded me of Imogen?
Like...they are both so insecure in their own ways, and they are both so surprised, yet happy when they notice they are actually wanted and people want them around? And that is so real.
Imogen being invited to a sleepover and ringing at Charlie's door, forcing a smile and fidgeting because she's nervous, and then all of them are greeting her excitedly, almost dragging her inside and she just naturally becomes a part of the group later on?
Youssef approaching Nathan during prom who just has the biggest smile on his face when he sees him?
Please give me some of that teacher and student content with these two, it'd be kinda funny cause it hasnt been done yet.

MORE RANDOM MODERN AU BELL’S HELLS
fearne practically *never* texts, but this doesn’t mean that she’s not communicating with her friends. she just always responds to a text by immediately facetiming whoever reached out. she’s usually busy doing something in public, so it really doesn’t make sense for her to do that.
EXAMPLE
imogen, through text message:
“hey fearne, were you still planning on coming over for dinner tonight? laudna is worrying over the menu and wants to know what you want.”
*incoming video call from fearne*
fearne: *sitting on a beach, wearing giant heart shaped sunglasses, and sipping an equally giant piña colada. the sound of waves crash in the background.* “what about dinner?”
imogen: “are you… fearne, where are you? what beach is that??”
fearne: “i don’t know(:”
