Part Two
Villain coughed as they pulled themself out of the wreckage. The wreckage the heroes caused, but would surely be blamed on them in tomorrow's news. Their knees gave out immediately the first time they tried to stand, pain went shooting through their side.
Sitting on the ground, they surveyed the damage. There was a gruesome gash on their side, probably caused by the broken chunks of stone ceiling they had been buried under. Their ribs were probably fractured, if not broken.
Carefully, ever so carefully, they managed to stand up. With a hand clutching their side they started limping in the vague direction of their base, planning to get home, do the bare minimum required to treat their wounds and pass out.
And that's when they heard it.
Crying. A baby crying. It sounded close. Too close.
It only took a minute or two of looking around to find the source of the sound. It was a struggle to lift the debris given the state they were in, but Villain managed. It was in fact a baby, and probably the only reason it had survived was because who Villain assumed to be its mother had used herself to shield it. They frowned at the sight. Another causality caused by heroes' disregard for civilians. This too, would probably be blamed on them.
Villain wasn't sure what to do. They couldn't take the child in somewhere, they'd be arrested on the spot. And they couldn't leave it here either, who knows when someone would come back to clean up the mess. It wouldn't survive here on its own.
They really only had one option.
"Uh, hey there, little buddy." the Villain said awkwardly as they tried to scoop the wailing baby up into their injured arms. "could you maybe, uh, stop crying? Please? It's a long walk back to my house and I'd rather not draw attention..."
Unsurprisingly, the baby did not comply.
They frowned but didn't know what else to do. What they did know was if they stood here much longer their legs were gonna give out again. So they began the slow, and painful, trek home.
Eventually, the baby did stop crying. Perhaps it just exhausted itself. Whatever the reason, Villain was grateful. By the time they made it home the baby had fallen asleep. They laid it down on the sofa and dragged themself to the bathroom to deal with the gash in their side, the rest could wait until they rested.
When they came back, the baby was awake and crying again. They gathered it into their arms and sunk into the couch. "....Sorry about your mom little guy. The heroes are pretty reckless."
They could feel themself getting closer to passing out. "You're lucky I found you, though it was purely by chance....Chance, huh? That seems like a pretty good name for you."
Their eyelids slipped closed as they fell asleep with the baby in their arms and mumbled. "Welcome to the dark side, Chance."

Ducklings (Part 3)
Part 1 / Part 2
Prompt: Civillian!Kid(s) keep showing up to Hero's and Villain's fights (more applicable to parts 1 and 2 but this is a contuation of those c:)
Tag List: @black-rose-events
CW: knife

"Again," Villain commanded.
Mikey grit his teeth and aimed at the target. He was frustrated, Villain knew, but if these kids were going to run around defying heroes and getting themselves in trouble then Villain would make sure they could at least defend themselves properly.
Marley had a talent for throwing knives but her endurance was low. At present she ran laps around the base while Charlie dug through the weapon pile for something he liked.
Villain called them together once Marley returned from outside. They sighed as the kids sat in a circle around them. Charlie tossed the tazer he'd found up in the air and caught it, then switched hands and did it again. Villain made sure to keep an eye on that out of the corner of their eye.
For a long moment they merely watched the three talk about their training. They were all so lively. It seemed...odd, to have them in a place like this. Villain frowned. "Don't you kids want to go home?"
"Don't got one," Marley grunted. She looked irritated and her shirt was soaked through. Good. Villain was glad to see that she'd at least put in the effort despite all the complaints.
"That warehouse you saved us from was our base," Charlie piped in.
Mikey flipped the knife he was sharpening to check his work. "We were using this one room in the basement that no one ever went in. Got good at sneaking around pretty quick. Charlie's the best at it." He nodded to the youngest in the group, then gestured with the knife.
"Marley is our hard hitter. Charlie's our spy and special op." He went back to polishing. "And I'm the plan guy, I guess."
"You were our leader!" Charlie corrected.
Mikey grinned and gave a half-hearted shrug. "Sure. But now you're the boss, boss," he said to Villain.
Villain...didn't actually know much about these kids, they realized. They'd noticed the hierarchy of power, as the other two often differed to Mikey, but they really hadn't given much thought to where they'd come from. It's about time they fix that.
Villain stood and gave instructions for them to get back to work. They had business to take care of tonight.
~
Hero's patrol route was easy to predict and even easier to intercept. Villain snatched them mid stride and dragged them into the nearest alley.
"I need information."
Hero raised a brow, expression a mix of skeptical and surprised. "You say that as if I'd be willing to give you anything of the sort."
"Oh, you are," Villain assured. They withrew a folder from within their cloak. Hero eyed it as if it would bite if they reached for it, but accepted it nonetheless. "You've been looking for Other Villain." It wasn't a guess - Villain knew this for a fact. "You won't find them...without help."
Hero looked through the papers, then back up at the villain. "You'd sell out an ally? Just like that?"
"Not for free, no." Villain stepped closer to Hero. "I need information," they said again. They gave Hero another folder - this one much thinner. They allowed Hero to glance through its contents.
"This is-"
The hero was cut off by a knife at their throat.
"You tell anyone else about them and Supervillain will be the least of your worries," Villain hissed in their ear.
There was a tense moment in which neither dared to move. Then, with a soft exhale and the barest inclination of their chin, Hero was set free.
"A bit harsh for your methods," Hero commented gruffly. They felt their neck - the knife had broken skin, but not enough to let the wound bleed freely.
On any other day, Villain would have looked satisfied with the compliment. Today, they put a hand on Hero's shoulder and tapped the folder with the edge of their knife. Villain leaned close again, grip tightening, as a grin split their face, to deliver a final warning.
"Anything. For my kids."

Sidekick rammed into Villain, setting them both onto an off-balanced stumble into a food cart, where they collapsed in a heap.
Villain stood, dusting off his three piece suit. If he wasn't in his Civillian attire he would have retaliated much worse than the ensuing "Who the fuck are you?"
"S-s-sidekick?" The girl was suited and masked. On further inspection, he saw that her hands were cut and she had a bruise forming on her chin.
"You don't sound too sure of that," Villain said. He stared down at the girl- she couldn't be older than fourteen.
"Sidekick," she said again, more sure of herself. Sidekick backed up further into the wall. "Sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you."
"How old are you?"
"Thirteen," she blurted. Then, seeing his look of disbelief, said, "but it's okay, Hero is usually with me when I go out. Most of the time anyway. Sometimes I'm alone because he- never mind, I saw you and I just really really need your help."
"You need my help?"
"Yes."
"With?"
"I need you to hide me or something."
Sidekick hugged her knees. She looked so vulnerable. Villains lips twisted into a confused frown. Even out of the suit he wasn't exactly the best liked person out there. In fact, he had several suits against him for tax evasion, though they never could seem to catch him what with the exorbitant amounts of money he threw at the feds.
"Or something," he repeated. Villain crouched so that he was eye level with Sidekick. "Why me?"
She mulled it over for a moment before she settled on, "you're rich and shady."
At that, Villain sputtered, "I am not shady."
He didn't deny the rich part.
"You are so shady, dude." She nodded solemly, a 'there there, it's all right' sort of consolation.
"Fine. Whatever. Who am I hiding you from?" He looked mildly annoyed now, and Sidekick bit her lip. She muttered something unintelligible. "What?"
She muttered again.
"Kid, I can't hear a thing you're saying."
"I need you to hide me from Hero," she said louder. Villain almost fell over.
"From... Hero?"
She nodded. "You're the only one who can, I've seen the way you lose the feds and the... whoever else."
Villain didn't want to do it. He really didn't want to. But she looked so... sad. He didn't like it, and when Villain didn't like something, he fixed it. So he took her home, gave her a room and clothes before they sat down to talk.
Sidekick was unmasked when she came into the study. Villain glanced up. She looked frustratingly familiar, though he couldn't place it.
A fresh bruise anointed her cheek, glaring him in the face. It was an extension of the mark he had seen on her chin. This wasn't from a nighttime scrabble.
"Who?"
She shook her head and said she couldn't tell him. Villain asked again. He had a few guesses with the way she fidgeted with her fingers and avoided looking him in the eye.
He eyed the necklace she wore, a dog tag with her name and date of birth.
"I'm a Foster kid," she explained. "They set up a system where we had to wear these for in case."
It hit him then.
"You're Alias."
"Yeah." She fidgeted more with the dog tag. "Hero is fostering me, but-"
Villain made a motion with his hand for her to keep talking. She shook her head.
"Well, since its out there," Villain mused at finally knowing Hero's identity, "I should mention I'm Villain."
Sidekick looked unsurprised.
"Did you know?"
"Yes."
"Lovely. Go to bed, I'll deal with your situation."
In the morning, Sidekick woke to news of Hero dying from a heart attack. She went down to breakfast where Villain was reading a newspaper.
"Good morning."
"You killed him."
"He was an abusive shit." Villain sipped his coffee. "It was warranted."
Sidekick didn't argue.
She opened her mouth, but Villain beat her to it. "You can stay for as long as you'd like, Kid. I'll have paperwork drawn up so I don't catch a case of kidnapping."
She stayed. Indefinitely.
Sidenote: Villain also imposed a nighttime adventure ban, which Sidekick tried and failed numerous times to break.

3 Mandos and a Baby AU: The One Where Bo-Katan Accidentally Adopts a Child
So, while the Scooby Gang was handling Mandalorian affairs the Clone Wars kick off.
Listen, killing Pre Vizsla and installing a 16 year old as the head of a whole sector takes a lot of focus and they all just kinda forgot about their local Sith Lord for a minute. Satine’s kept in power as Jorad’alor, because Korkie loves and respects his mom aunt, and also cause the New Mando acceptance for his rule is kinda predicated on that.
So Korkie involves them in the Clone Wars on the side of the Republic because “Jaster and 99 want me to save their grandsons/brothers”. If he starts secretly sending out baruurs to cut out the clones chips well, the Republic doesn’t need to know. And if he’s giving all clones Mandalorian citizenship well, the Republic can go jump in a Rancor pit.
This boy has no tolerance for slavery of any kind, and in his speech to his councilors Bo-Katan is reminded of another, older Korkie, passionately defending his choice to blow another Hutt slave processing camp sky high. She can’t help but be proud, and a little bit sad. What good would that Korkie had done had he not kept running into the fires that night, determined to save every Mando’ad he could?
I’m going to say Aq Vetina is a colony world just outside of Mandalorian Space and nominally under the authority of a Core world. Unfortunately for Aq Vetina, that Core world is corrupt as fuck/friendly with the galaxy’s creepiest old man. It gets attacked and out ride the mighty Mandalorians, off to save the day!
It ends up being a joint project between the Protectors and the Nite Owls, because Korkie declared it so (Myles may or may not have gotten Korkie in on the bofenn shipping. Adonai just stares menacingly from the corner). The Children of the Watch seemed to be the ones coolest with having an actual child as their king and did not protest when he sent them to guard Kamino.
Anyway, Bo and Fenn spend the whole fight making sarcastic comments and trying their best to one up each other, as one does now that they’ve completed the most therapeutic action of all, killing an abusive domestic terrorist. Anyway, it gets down to the last few Super Battle Droids and Bo hears crying from a storm cellar.
Anyway, ten minutes later Bo has a young Din Djarin strapped to her back and a deep sense of disgruntlement. Her final rival for the Darksaber, bane of her existence, and lord of all that’s annoying is currently an adorable five year old sucking on a piece of candied muja fruit Fenn gave him and sobbing into her hair.
Once the mourning little boy cries himself to sleep Bo fills Fenn in on her history with Mand’alor Djarin and his frog son. Fenn thinks this is hysterical, and laughs so hard he almost wakes up the ad’ika.
This is a theme that’s repeated amongst the time travelers, with the exception of Ursa. She actually does laugh so loud it wakes up baby Din.
Anyway, Bo-Katan is adamant that she is not adopting this kid. She’s not! The fact that she’s acting parental is just coincidence! Sure, she’s feeding the kid and clothing the kid and letting him seek affection and assurance from her, but that’s normal when dealing with a traumatized ad’ika. Try finding a Mando’ad who wouldn’t treat a traumatized orphan that way. (Fenn’s rebuttal to this is “Find one who wouldn’t adopt a traumatized orphan” and Bo elbows him in the ribs)
The whole time they’re in Sundari after that (Keldabe’s still being rebuilt) baby Din just follows after her like trouble follows R2-D2. Satine puts baby Din up in the family apartments, because Satine’s still pissed about the whole coup thing and also because she has a great many years of older sister teasing to make up for. (And maybe, in some part of her soul, Satine is glad that clan Kryze is growing again. It used to be a great clan, with dozens of members before the Wars and the bombing of Kalevala’s dome).
Korkie just flat out calls Din his cousin. Whenever people visit the palace and question who the new kid is Korkie tells them it’s his Auntie Bo’s kid. Bo kinda regrets giving a literal teenager near-absolute power over their people. Her nephew just gives her unimpressed looks and mentions that she got the armorer to start making Din beskar out of her Great Aunt’s old kit, and by giving this kid the family beskar she’s just adopting him without the formal declaration. Then he does that weird thing where he laughs at nothing (he’s laughing at Adonai’s excitement over new grandchildren).
Anyway, after a few weeks of this Fenn goes to adopt baby Din and Bo-Katan and he get super into it about who this kid’s buir is. Things suddenly get quiet and when they do finally come down an hour later they’ve agreed on shared custody. No one mentions what they were doing up there, and no one wants to.
Well, except for Myles and Tarre, but no one listens to them much. Except Adonai and Jaster, but that’s only so they know when the face-punching should commence.

Theyre the Lil Vs/Triple Vs-! Voz, Van and VV(Vivi or Veve)
Little helper "duplicates" Varux has the ability to create. The max limit are three out at the same time, and normally they obliterate when the did is done since theyre weak. But Varux loves them a lot and tries their best for this to not happen since this has consequences aswell.

I saw this photo again
Tumblr media
And was so inspired to see the whole Aizawa family dressed the same way for a big hero shindig. This is surprisingly the first time I’ve ever drawn eri and shinso.
Also they all have undercuts cuz eri had to have stitches or something on the back of her head and of course they had to shave it. So her brothers and dad got undercuts in solidarity.

Chance Part Two
Part One
Taking care of a baby, as it turns out, is not easy. Villain has absolutely no clue what they're doing.
Their recent search history is full of things like "How to change a diaper" "What do you feed babies" and "How to stop your cat from hissing at a baby"
That last one was probably a less universal parenthood experience, but Villain's snooty cat was not particularly happy with the new team member.
Another thing that Villain had learned within the following day after bringing the child home, was that they probably should have checked the baby's gender before picking a name. But that was less important, Chance could be a girl's name if Villain said so. Social rules weren't really their thing anyway.
Over the next few days, Villain acquired all manner of baby things. And also a lot of parenting books.
After several days of doing nothing but trying to figure out how to care for an infant, Villain realized they had to get back to doing villain things. But they couldn't exactly leave the child alone all day while they were out fighting heroes...
A day later, Vigilante stood in Villain's living room looking very unimpressed. "Where did you even get that."
"Her name is Chance and I found her in the wreckage after fighting hero last week."
"And you kept it because...?"
"Because despite what the news thinks I'm not a monster." Villain huffed. "Now are you going to watch your new niece while I make an appearance for the heroes or not."
"You must be desperate if you're going to trust me with a child."
Villain shot their younger sibling a look. "Is that a yes?"
Vigilante sighed. "Unfortunately."
"Great!" Villain passed Chance to Vigilante and started gathering a few things. "I'll only be gone a few hours. She'll probably nap for most of that time anyway."
Vigilante soon found themself standing alone in Villain's house reluctantly holding a bright eyed baby.
Villain's cat was on the other side of the room, glaring daggers at the child.
Vigilante raised an eyebrow at the animal. "Don't look at me like that. I'm on your side in this."

"Okay." Danny slowly laid the already cold body back onto the table, ready to slide back it into the refuge of cold storage. "Okay. Dead guy. Stay there."
The body didn't move.
"Fantastic. Now. Hang out while I pour the embalming fluid into the pump, alright? It should only be a minute."
And it usually did; working in a funeral home wasn't extremely glamorous, but it paid the bills, and Danny had already been used to the rhyme and rhythm of negotiating death with the public by the time he sent in his mortuary school application. It had been a transition that made sense. And in the end, the degree had only cost him a few extra years post-graduation and a little dig into student loans, and now Danny had a stable 12-8 job and health insurance valid in the state of new jersey.
Today, though, the pump had that decided enough was enough. With a bang and a boom, the pump spat out a cloud of smoke and clunked uncomfortably.
The dead body sat up.
Danny scrambled over to push it back down. "No. We talked about this. Dead people don't move. If you want to stay here and have me put you back together all the time, you have to stay put. Got it?"
Whatever the weird gold-eye corpses were on in Gotham, they at least listened to him on occasion. They weren't ghosts, per se— they never pinged on any of the ghost detection devices Mom and Dad had packed in his going-away-to-college bag— but they were, despite being occasionally animate, perfectly deceased.
Weird. Danny had never gotten used to it. Still, they came in droves, too eager to sit on the top of the basement stairwell and lurk in the corners and stare endlessly at them with their weird, avian eyes, and sometimes they heralded the arrival similarly weird-ass bodies that had lost their heads or their arms or their limbs through the more conventional channels.
"I'm losing too much thread to all y'all coming in all the time," Danny complained to the dead body, who, at the moment, was the only person present to blame. "Stop getting your limbs cut off. This stuff is expensive, you know. It's a specialty order."
The body didn't even have the courtesy to blink. Rude.
"At least let them bury you this time. Every time one of you darts off when my back's turned, my boss thinks I'm stealing corpses. My coworkers think I'm building my own Frankenstein or something."
The corpse neither verbalized nor blinked, but Danny hadn't expected it to; with a sigh, he rolled the corpse back into cold storage, locked its little door (not that locking it in had ever stopped it) and called it quits for the night.
It's not like anyone was paying him for the extra hours anyway.

day one of humbly requesting you to continue nuisance
Hi anon! Thank you for the humble request! ^-^
Nuisance (Part 6)
Part 1 / Part 5
Hero was trapped. And they were trapped with a kid.
They didn't know what caused the earthquake that made this building collapse, but when the ground started shaking while they were out on patrol, they grabbed the nearest civillian and covered them.
When the dust settled and the shaking stopped, they blinked to let their eyes adjust to the darkness, and looked down at the person squirming in their arms.
"...Oh. You're Villain's kid." It took them a moment to realize why this girl looked so familiar, but they were sure of it now. How long had it been since they last saw her with Villain? A few weeks? Perhaps a month or two at most? How fast did kids grow?
She removed herself from Hero's arms and drew herself up as much as she could in the cramped space. They were lucky they ended up in this pocket within the rubble instead of crushed underneath the chunks of debri. "And what if I am?" The little nuisance wasn't looking quite so little anymore, but she certainly kept the attitude Hero remembered.
Hero leaned back and exhaled slowly. They didn't take offense to the challenge in her tone. They had other things to focus on. Like how to get out of here.
After determining that there was no way to move the rubble themself without ruining the fragile stability that happened to be keeping them both alive, Hero returned their attention to her. Although they were trapped, she didn't seem panicked at all. If anything, she was far calmer than any adult Hero had had to rescue.
"You don't seem scared. Are you alright?" Everyone expressed fear differently. Hero might not be great with kids, and this one might have an unusual liking for villainous characters, but they did still know how to do their job.
She gave them a look that Hero was very familiar with. It was reminiscent of Villain's favorite expression - the one that let Hero know they were being judged. Heavily. "Duh. I'm just waiting."
"Waiting? For what?"
The child scoffed. "What do you think?"
Hero frowned. Was she waiting for rescue? Hero couldn't put a call through - there was no signal here - but she seemed confident that something would happen soon.
A beat passed before they attempted to assure her. "I'm sure someone will be looking for us. It might take some time for a team to find us-"
"I'm not waiting for one of you," she cut them off bluntly. "Heroes suck. You even blew up my house once."
That gave Hero pause. It was true some of their coworkers could be a bit reckless. They couldn't blame a child for seeing things that way if they were affected so directly. "I'm...sorry to hear that," they said seriously. "I promise we are doing our best to protect you. But sometimes destruction like that is unavoidable."
"Oooor you're just bad at your job." She scoffed, small fists planted on her hips as she glared Hero down. The image would have been just a bit more intimidating if she didn't stick her tongue out too.
Nevertheless, Hero's face burned a little with embarrassment. At least they could be sure now that that sharp tongue of hers didn't come from Villain's influence.
