“What’s one of Gabriel’s angels doing here?” She peered over the other angel’s shoulder, using the taller one as a convenient barrier. “Are other division angels even allowed out here?”

“How the Heaven should I know?” the tall angel with the good cheekbones asked, turning around to look, long unruly curling hair floating very slowly about in the black airless void of space like the tendrils of a nebula. “Wait, that’s a Cherubim, isn’t it?”

“Oh yeah, you can tell by his crown. Just look at him, he’s trying to be all sly about it, wearing it on his finger, but it still sticks out no matter what he tries to do to hide it. They’re doing that these days, you know, those management angels. It’s a fad of some kind, wearing their crowns on their fingers. I hear it was started by an Archangel, if you can believe that.”

“What’s one of Gabriel’s people doing out here?” the tall angel wondered. “Lucifer’s the one who manages all this...this space stuff, with stars and moons and planets and such, Gabriel’s team doesn’t touch this kind of stuff. Admin never leaves head office. Unless there’s a message?”

“Beats me,” the other angel shrugged, pushing back her long black hair, trying to contain it as it floated weightless about her head in a cloud. “Archangel infighting? Trying to usurp authority? Trying to make Lucifer look bad? Who knows. But whatever it is, it’s causing some serious problems. You think someone should do something about it?”

The two angels watched as the Cherubim argued with a scatter of angels who were trying to set a starburst of stardust in place.

“Naaaah,” the tall angel began, but then paused. “Okay, maybe. Yeah, we should probably go help out, it’s looking a bit messy. Screws up the whole rhythm of the work if everyone’s riled up like that.”

“We? What do you mean, we? You got an Archangel in your pocket?” the other angel laughed, winging away to sort through and fine-tune the placement of different types of hydrogen molecules.

The tall angel sighed and flew over toward the hubbub of angels arguing.

“I don’t even have pockets,” the tall angel muttered “...what’s a pocket anyway?”

As the tall angel arrived, everyone else wandered off as quickly as possible, abandoning the tall angel to deal with the Cherubim alone.

“Ahem,” the Cherubim said, clearing his throat and straightening his white robes with cold dignity “I am the Cherubim Aziraphale, sent by the Archangel Gabriel for a surprise inspection, and I’d like to see your records please.”

"What are you bothering her about now?" Buffer asks as she walks up, CPU and Lag walking with her. Crash and Antivirus were trailing behind, discussing something.

"Emulator's taste, yknow?" Umbra shrugs.

"Gross." Abyssal narrows her eyes as she pops up next to him.

"What the fuck?!" He screeches, punching her in the stomach.

"Oh you, BITCH-" She wheezes as she falls.

"DOWN FOR THE COUNT." Antivirus chuckles as he and Crash walk up.

"What's the betting pool right now?" Buffer asks as she turns her head to CPU.

He pulls up a file. ".. it's a tie between cotton candy & lemon and bubblegum & ... yellow starburst."

"Wonderful." Lag remarks, placing a hand on his hip. "Are either of those choices close?"

Manifest only lets out a hum, continuing to work on the devices in front of her. Umbra groans at that before standing up, tugging up Abyssal as he does so.

"Well, then what's your taste?" Umbra looks at Abyssal.

She only grins. "What, wanna find out?"

That earns her another punch to the stomach, sending her crumbling back to the floor.

"At this point, just knock her unconscious." Crash crosses his arms.

Umbra's eyes dart to Crash, and he holds up his hands. "Lemon and cherry. Weird combo, I'm well aware."

Buffer hums. "Pomegranate."

"Pomegranate?" CPU raises an eyebrow, looking at her.

She nods. "Pomegranate."

"Weird as hell." He snorts.

"Oh yeah?" Buffer punches his shoulder. "Then what's your flavor, asshole?"

"Very sweet strawberry." Lag answers with a hum, a small smirk on his lips upon seeing CPU's cheeks flush red.

"That'd be a good guess.." The couple both blink. "But I dunno, he seems more like a pink starburst flavor."

"Ping is no doubt watermelon."

Lag exhales, reminiscent of a chuckle, as he leans against CPU. "These idiots.." he mutters.

CPU shakes his head, dragging a hand down his face, muttering. "I swear I'm going grey."

"Silver fox." Lag hums softly. He chuckles softly, seeing CPU blush more.

Nct Dream Reaction: When Yuta and Jaehyun have “The Talk™” with NCT Dream

Summary: Yuta/Jaehyun/Yuta and Jaehyun would witness the Dream members’ outward display of affection towards you and in turn decide to prepare them for future intimacy.

Jaehyun would find out about Mark’s new relationship when he had introduced you to the members at the NCT dorms. The two of you would be connected at the hip for the entirety of your visit, holding hands and every so often kiss each other’s cheeks. After you left, Jaehyun would try to be a responsible hyung and would sit down with Mark to have “the Talk”. Trying his best not to embarrass Mark, Jaehyun would speak rather quickly about the in’s and out’s (pun intended) of safe sex. Surprisingly, Mark would handle this talk very maturely, yet with slight remorse. Never the less, he would hold on to every word, making sure to remember how to make sex as comfortable and safe as possible if the event ever occurred. He wouldn’t have any ulterior motives other than to make these future intimate moments with you as special as possible. “So that’s actually how you ‘do it’? Ugh this is so gross why are you teaching me this…”

Renjun!

Yuta would be getting coffee at a local café for the hyung line when he spots you and Renjun laughing in one of the corner tables. You and Jeno would be at the mall, shopping for Jaehyun’s birthday present while holding hands. Jaehyun would spot Jeno’s face from across the store and walk over to say hi, just within earshot of hearing what exactly you were going to get him. Knowing the surprise would be ruined if Jaehyun had heard, Jeno hurriedly pulled you into an awkward kiss, startling both you and Jaehyun. He would later drop hints about how fast Jeno and you were moving in the relationship, signaling that he would give him the baby talk soon. To avoid the long, awkward, and embarrassing talk™, Jeno would research scientific facts about sex so he could get it over with as quickly as possible. When the time finally came, Jeno would blurt as many facts as he could, as quickly as he could, and dashed out of the room. “LOWER CHOLESTEROL BOOSTS SEXUAL PERFORMANCE.”

Haechan!

You would be teasingly kissing Haechan in front of the NCT 127 members to try and embarrass him. When you were somehow able to pin his hands together so you could successfully kiss him, his face would suddenly turn from embarrassed to stoic, looking at you with slight wonder and affection. After a short pause, Haechan would slowly move his face towards yours hesitantly, as if he was about to kiss you, before he instead gently head-butt your forehead. To see if you were alright and make sure you weren’t mad at him, Haechan would move over to you and plant a sweet kiss on the sore area, whispering (so unintentionally loud that the other members could hear) that he loved you. When Yuta realized that you would be withHaechan for a while, he decided to prepare Haechan for a deeper relationship. Yuta had prepared a small essay to make sure he had covered all the bases about responsible sex before finally confronting Haechan. Before he could truly educate him, Haechan had laughed with a noticeable voice crack, showing his slight discomfort, and explained that Taeyong already talked with him at the beginning of his relationship. Haechan would be slightly condescending, but thankful to Yuta none the less for being a responsible “Dad”.

After their third conversation, Jaehyun would grow bored and think of a way to stop the conversation. An imaginary light bulb appeared over his head, and a small sly smile grew on him face. Interrupting Jaemin, Jaehyun began to ask if he knew about the more intimate parts of a relationship. Before Jaehyun could start talking, Jaemin would say he knew all about THAT for a number of years. With Jaehyun’s smile turning into a disappointed frown, Jaemin began the flow of his adoration once more, and continued on throughout the night.

Chenle!

Chenle would have invited you over to the NCT dorms for a dinner and movie date. Unfortunately for him, Jaehyun and Yuta would be hidden in the kitchen, eavesdropping and occasionally butting into your conversations. When they emerged from the kitchen during your dinner date, they had discreetly witnessed your “Lady and the Tramp” moment with Chenle. Right before you could complete this romantic moment with your boyfriend, two extremely high pitched squeals echoed from inside the kitchen walls. Excitedly, after you left, Jaehyun and Yuta would drag in Renjun (from who knows where) and hastily tell him to translate everything they said. Renjun would blush profusely, shyly repeating in Chinese this intimate concept. Chenle would laugh nervously, a big awkward grin on his face. It wouldn’t be too long before Jaehyun and Yuta would talk at the same time, making translating impossible for Renjun. Instead of translating, Renjun and Chenle would talk about mundane topics, trying to erase the massive blush on both their faces.

“So uhh, how do you say ‘Get me out of here’ in Korean again, hyung?”

Jisung!

Jisung would have brought you to watch him and the NCT members’ dance practice for “Black on Black”. During one of their breaks, Jisung would play a romantic song, and invite you to a slow dance. You danced clumsily, every so often moving your foot the wrong direction and collide with his. Jisung’s loving smile would turn into embarrassment once the other members began to coo at their maknae’s cuteness. Later that week Jaehyun would show Jisung a rather detailed PowerPoint. Jisung would be so flustered that he would shut down his ears, staring at the ceiling blankly in horror. When Jaehyun asked if he understood the basics, Jisung would nod his head quickly and walk out of the room, bumping into things every so often.

Seul sat in-between Inseong and Dawon as the Marketing Department was having one of their quarterly meetings. This was the first meeting that Seul was present for since she started working for NEOZ Group a few months ago.

"Ms. Lee, you sit right here next to me." Youngbin stated as he motioned to the seat left of him for Seul to take.

"To better assist me."

Youngbin cast his personal assistant a friendly smile and Seul nodded with a small smile as she quickly stood while the two males sniggered knowingly at her. Seul slightly hushed them to stop it before making her way towards her boss and sat to his left while glaring at the two males who only cast her playful smiles. Seul cast Youkyung a smile who was sitting to the right of Youngbin, but the female only rolled her eyes before turning away from Seul. Seul brushed her off and got herself situated and glanced up to see that Dawon had purposely chosen to sit across from her with a playful expression.

"Why are you sitting right there?" Seul whispered as Dawon grinned before answering.

"So that I can watch you fall asleep like you've done back in school."

"That's messed up and I've never fallen asleep. I always doodled and pretended like I was paying attention. Thank you very much."

"Now that's messed up."

The duo's conversation was interrupted when Youngbin started the meeting.

"Good morning, everyone." Youngbin greeted the employees as he held a small remote control for the powerpoint presentation.

"For this meeting, we're going to discuss last quarter's activities, the activities for this quarter, and the social media and video advertisements for Mrs. Bages' product launch."

Within ten minutes of the meeting Seul already lost interest and began doodling on the agenda out of boredom to keep herself awake. Of course she listened in on what was being talked about, but for her she retained information better when taking partial notes. A moment later Seul's attention went to a small balled up piece of paper thrown by Dawon. She shot the male a blank look as Dawon signaled for her to open it. She did so and saw that Dawon had written 'you're gonna get caught' and in response she crumpled up the paper again with the male pouting.

Soon enough Seul was snapped back to reality five minutes later when she felt something hit her arm again. She looked towards Dawon who grinned at her while pointing at the papered star he had flicked at her to open it. Seul ignored him and pushed the paper back towards the male as to not wanting to deal with the whole note passing situation if they were caught. Dawon quietly rose from his swivel chair to retrieve the note and once he successfully got it back he had sat down only to crash to the floor with the chair rolling away once he tried to stand back up. All eyes were on Dawon as he silently laughed at his embarrassment and continued to just sit on his knees instead of back onto his chair.

"Is everything alright, Mr. Lee?" Youngbin asked while pausing in mid-speech.

"Ah, yes, I'm fine. Just wanted to test out the rolling chair." Dawon replied nonchalantly as he attempted to do just that.

"I thought you tested that out the first time we held a meeting." Youngbin said in amusement while Dawon coughed to hide his embarrassment again.

"Did I? I don't remember."

"I see. Well, let me finish this up and you can present your data analysis with Yoonho afterwards."

Youngbin continued on with his talk for another few minutes before handing it off to Yoonho and Dawon afterwards. Seul paid attention for a few seconds before realizing that she already knew what it was about as she had helped Dawon and Yoonho prepare this just a few days ago. Seul's attention went back to the paper before her as she continued to doodle various things. Unconsciously her right hand had slipped into her dress' pockets and was surprised when she pulled out a strawberry starburst. She had forgotten that her outfit actually had pockets for once. She happily unwrapped the sweet-tart treat and popped it into her mouth.

"What do you got there, Seul?"

"Nothing for you."

"That's not nice."

"Yeah, well, you should probaby shut up as we're in a meeting."

Seul wasn't aware that she was casually speaking with Youngbin as she was more focused on her candy.

"Really? Anwyays, are you going to share, Seul?"

The same male voice asked her and she automatically responded with something she would say to her sister upon hearing her name like always still not aware of the sitaution.

"Not with you."

Before realizing that it wasn't Yeon, but her boss that had asked that question. She hastily looked over at Youngbin with a sheepish look.

"Ah, sorry about that, Mr. Kim. I didn't mean to be so frank with you. My apologies. Um, but here you go, sir."

Seul whispered in embarrassment as she slid a lemon starburst towards the male while thinking why he had called her so casually within the work setting and of their different ranks. Youngbin chuckled softly as he took the item hiding the fact that he enjoyed the reaction he got out of his personal assistant.

"It's okay, Ms. Lee."

Seul just nodded although she just realized that he had addressed her properly this time. She didn't have much time to think about it until she noticed a small piece of crumpled paper coming into her view. Seul raised a brow wondering who it could be until she noticed that Inseong was looking at her expectantly. She realized it was him as he shot her a knowing look. Seul rolled her eyes, but actually went to read it since Inseong wasn't anything like Dawon. That was until she read the content and knew that he was just like him as Inseong had written if she liked their boss or not. Seul shook her head as a response, but Inseong didn't believe her. She didn't care if he did or not.

Once the meeting was over, Seul returned to her desk tired and hungry as she felt drained for some odd reason. It wasn't even lunch time yet. She tiredly placed her head on top of the files of her desk while her desk phone machine was flashing red indicating she already had a voicemail to respond back to. Seul sighed as she closed her eyes to recuperate before going back into work mode. It didn't last long as her short break was disrupted when she heard a file or two slapped against her desk. Seul lifted her head to come face to face with a gleeful looking Dawon. She did not like the look on his face.

"Yes, Dawon?"

"So, you and the b-"

Seul interrupted him.

"There's nothing going on between us."

"Oh, c'mon, don't lie."

"I'm not. Seriously. There's nothing going on between us."

Dawon was gonna tease Seul some more, but she glared at him.

"Don't you have some other work to finish?"

"Well, yes, I do."

"Then why are you standing there?"

"To bother you like always."

"Gosh you're so annoying."

"I know, but anyways, you an-"

Seul shot him a dark look.

"You should probably shut up."

"And if I don't?"

Dawon grinned at her mischievously.

"hen I'ma beat you up."

Dawon backed off from the subject.

"Okay, whoa, whoa. Calm down. Usually that's Yeon's line, but alright."

Seul rolled her eyes.

"Because you talk too much and like bothering people for the fun of it."

"You right."

He chuckled.

"Anyways," Dawon changed the subject, "I need to discuss with you about what cake to get Hwiyoung for his birthday coming up soon."

"Why do you need to discuss that with me?"

"I wanna get everyone's opinions and help on it."

"You don't need my help. You can do that by yourself."

"I could, but I remember that you used to bake, right?"

"Not really."

"But don't you make cookies for Jangmi?"

The phone on Seul's desk rang and she ignored Dawon to answer the call.

"Hello, this is Seul Lee of the Marketing Department of NEOZ Group."

Seul reached for a pen and paper as she took down the caller's message and Dawon reluctantly returned to his desk. For a good hour and a half Seul had been constantly talking on the phone with clients about business ordeals that she hadn't realized her own phone going off as it was muted, but set to vibrate mode. Seul also hadn't paid attention to the beeps that sounded when she was speaking with the clients indicating that another caller was trying to reach her. So when she heard her name called by her sister while in mid-talk with another client she was confused.

"Yeon?"

"Yo, we gotta go." Yeon told her as she came up to her desk almost out of breath.

The others in the office watched the interaction between the sisters.

"What do you mean we gotta go?"

"It's Mom."

Seul made an annoyed face.

"So? What about her?"

Yeon's face turned serious. This caught Seul's attention.

"Yeon. What about Mom?"

Yeon stayed silent, but Seul noticed how her sister's eyes glistened over and face read with worry.

"Hello, Mr. Kwon. I'm sorry, but I'll have to call you back another time. Something urgent has come up. Goodbye."

She hung up with a current client before gathering her things.

"Seul, is everything okay?" Dawon suddenly asked upon seeing Seul packing her things in a hurry.

"Sorry, Dawon. I gotta go."

The pair anxiously waited in the waiting room of the hospital along with their mother's boyfriend, Yongin, and their father, Kisuk, and his girlfriend, Sanghee. Yongin has been waiting for more than two hours while the sisters have been there for less than an hour, and  Kisuk and Sanghee just arrived several minutes ago. Yeon only informed Seul that their mom had fainted as Yeon was the only one that had picked up Yongin's phone call and he only informed her of that small information. Other than that the sisters didn't know anything else as they awaited news.

"Hello, good evening. I'm Doctor Oh." The doctor greeted the quintet as their attention turned to him ten minutes later.

"How is she? Is she doing well? Nothing's wrong with Narae, right? Oh please tell me that she's alright and that's nothing wrong with her." Yongin fired questions at the doctor before Doctor Oh shot him a reassuring smile to calm the male.

"Ms. Jung is fine. Are you the husband?"

"Ah, no. I'm Narae's boyfriend. Um," Yongin motioned towards Kisuk, "He's her ex-husband."

The doctor shifted his eyes towards Kisuk as everyone felt awkward at their current situation.

"What's wrong with our mom?" Seul asked, breaking the awkwardness and just wanting to get this done and over with.

"Nothing serious, but your mother is eighteen weeks pregnant." Doctor Oh informed them of the news.

The quintet went silent once more. They weren't sure what to feel, but it was Yeon that broke the silence.

"Are you saying that our mom is having a baby? At her age?"

"Yes, that is correct."

The sisters breathed a sigh of relief and the worries that Seul had disappeared although she was now slightly annoyed.

"I can't believe she got herself knocked up."

"You're telling me." Yeon agreed with a shake of her head before looking over at Yongin.

"Well, congratulations, you're going to be a father."

"Yeah, Yongin, congratulations. You're gonna be a father of a tiny human." Seul mused as Yeon nudged her playfully.

"Uh, thank you." Yongin responded while still trying to process the information.

"Yes, congratulations, Yongin." Sanghee congratulated Yongin with a happy expression while looking over at Kisuk fondly. "Hearing those words are such wonderful news, isn't it, dear?"

"Uh, yeah. Yeah, it is." Kisuk responded a bit distracted although he looked over at his two daughters.

Yeon and Seul avoided eye contact with him and just looked at the doctor.

"Is that why she fainted, Doctor Oh?" Seul asked a moment later.

The doctor nodded.

"Yes, although it was mainly due to fatigue and malnourishment. I also believe there was some added stress over the past month that had eventually overwhelmed your mother causing her to lose consciousness."

Doctor Oh handed the sisters a piece of paper which Yeon took.

"I recommend for her to rest plenty, take vitamins and supplements, eat properly, watch her stress and activity levels, exercise accordingly, and to schedule monthly or even bi-weekly check-ups with her obstetrician or her main doctor that she's currently seeing."

The sisters nodded as Doctor Oh looked to the time on the wall before returning her gaze onto the quintet.

"If you would like you're all more than welcome to visit Ms. Jung for the time being, but only one of you can stay the night."

Before Yongin could suggest for one of the sisters to do it, the pair gave it up to him.

"You should stay, Yongin. We're fine."

"Ah, yes. I think that's a good choice." Kisuk agreed with his daughters.

"Good. Ms. Jung's should be fine with visitors in a few minutes." Doctor Oh informed them with a polite smile before walking away.

"Yongin, I believe you should go in first to see Narae." Sanghee suggested as Yongin nodded absent-mindedly before doing just that.

"So," Kisuk began, but Seul cut him off.

"You and Sanghee can visit Mom. Yeon and I have other things to take care of."

"I see." Their father responded a bit dejectedly. "Well, take care."

"Thanks. You, too." Seul curtly responded before she and Yeon bid them goodbye.

Yeon was the only one to return to work as Seul had to meet up with a lawyer that finally got back to her and could only meet today and soon to go about legal procedures concerning Seokwon. At the same time something had come up for Yuna and she was unable to care for Jangmi for the rest of the day. So that left Yeon to babysit her niece at her job even though she could've just not gone back, but she remembered that she had to finish a few reports that were already due by the end of the week and didn't need more piling up.

So when Yeon appeared with her niece at the lobby Chahee beamed at the child and told Yeon that her daughter was adorable and looked just like her. Yeon had to immediately correct Chahee who quickly apologized for the assumption. After clearing up that situation Chahee had issued a special visitor pass for the child with an image of some cartoon character featured on the pass. Soon afterwards they rode the elevator which Yeon forgot that her niece found very amusing and almost continued the mini ride for Jangmi until remembering she couldn't play. Walking hand-in-hand with Jangmi who seemed to look around the office in awe, Yeon's path was stopped by two of her colleagues, Kevin and Jacob.

"So, Yeon, who is this?" Kevin asked in almost a sing-song like tone while he and Jacob crouched down to Jangmi's level.

"Hi." Jacob greeted the toddler in a soft tone. "I'm Jacob."

"And I'm Kevin. Hi." Kevin followed after.

Yeon didn't bother answering as she just let her niece greet the two males.

"Hi." Jangmi greeted with a toothy grin. "I'm MiMi."

"How old are you, MiMi?" The duo asked.

Jangmi held up three fingers as the males were impressed.

"Wow."

Jangmi giggled at their reactions. The pair continued to gush at the toddler and Yeon had to finally drag her niece away from the two males who still wanted to interact with Jangmi. Yeon finally made it to her desk as she got Jangmi situated before she herself could get herself all settled in when she heard her boss' office door opened a few seconds later. Sangyeon hadn't noticed the child while speaking to his secretary in a firm tone.

"Welcome back to work, Ms. Lee. I see that you've returned two hours and fifty-seven minutes later when I wasn't aware that you had left in the first place. Could you tell me why that is please?"

Just as Yeon was going to apologize for her abrupt departure, but she momentarily paused curiously at how detailed the time was that her boss had stated. She shook the thought away and had barely opened her mouth until hers and Sangyeon's focus turned onto the toddler when Jangmi greeted the male.

"Hi."

Sangyeon's demeanor changed as he cast the child a warm smile and greeted the young child.

"Well, hello to you."

Yeon was weirded out by her boss' sudden behavior, but didn't comment on it as to not return the attention back to her. Instead she amusingly watched the two interact with one another thinking that she was off the hook. That was until Sangyeon remembered that he was at work and reminded himself of that before he righted himself.

"Um, why is this child here, Ms. Lee?" He asked, facing Yeon again. "Is she your daughter?"

"She's in my care for the time being." She answered him. "And no, she's not. She's my niece."

"Oh. Okay, but you do know that it's not a place for a child to be. Correst?"

"I'm well aware of that, but some things came up and I'm the only one that can look after her."

"I see. Is that why you left all of a sudden?"

"No. It was something else."

"Then why didn't you pick up my calls?"

Sangyeon changed the subject in a nonchalant manner, but Yeon quirk a brow in confusion.

"When?"

"I've been calling you since I found out you left wondering why you suddenly left without my knowledge or informing me."

"Oh? twelve times?"

"I say it was less than that." Sangyeon commented casually, but he knew it was more than that if you looked through the call history.

Yeon didn't really care as she continued to speak in a nonchalant manner.

"Ah, so that was your number. Yeah, I don't pick up random numbers I don't know even if they call me many times."

Sangyeon scoffed at his secretary's answer.

"Well, now you do and you should save it just in case something like this happens again, Ms. Lee, especially as my secretary."

"Will do, Mr. Lee."

"I believe that you should do it right now."

"Do what?"

"Save my number."

"Oh. Um, sure. Just give me a moment."

Before Sangyeon could actually get his secretary to urgently do that, Yein from Sales arrived to deliver some documents to Sangyeon, but was without a doubt distracted by Jangmi.

"Aww, hi." Yein greeted the child while becoming eye level with her. "What's your name?"

"MiMi." Jangmi answered with a giggle. "Hi."

"Aww, you're so adorable." Yein continued to gush over the child. "Did you come with mommy to work?"

Yeon didn't bother to correct her colleague.

"Auntie isn't my mommy." Jangmi corrected the female instead.

Yeon slightly chuckled at her niece's words as Yein felt a bit sheepish.

"Oh, sorry."

Sangyeon coughed to get Yein's attention.

"Ahem, Ms. Ahn."

Yein didn't hear him as she was too busy communicating with the toddler. Sangyeon coughed louder and said her name louder than last time.

"Ahem, Ms. Ahn."

Yein heard him this time around.

"Oh, right. Sorry, Mr. Lee."

Yein straighten up as she handed the files over to Sangyeon.

"These are for you from Ms. Jung. She wanted to make sure they got to you before lunch time."

She bowed before hurrying away and waving goodbye to Jangmi. Sangyeon scanned the files before casting his eyes onto where Yeon should've been standing, but no longer was. His eyes wandered to find her and spotted her holding the child while making her way somewhere.

"Ms. Lee." He called out to her.

"Ah, yes?" Yeon answered while momentarily stopping to look over at her boss.

"Where are you going?"

"To the toilet. Jangmi needs to go."

"Goooo." Jangmi stressed as Yeon reassured her niece.

"Yes, MiMi, we're going, we're going."

"But I need you to in-"

Sangyeon didn't finish his sentence as Yeon paid him no mind and basically rushed off to get the child to relieve herself without causing some type of accident if she didn't get her niece to the restroom. Sangyeon tsked in annoyance before letting out a controlled breath.

"Deep breath, Sangyeon. Life happens. Just make sure she gets to these by the end of the week and everything's all good."

He let out another calm breath before placing the documents that Yein had handed to him earlier onto Yeon's desk before making his way to his own office.

Good evening, everyone! This post will be a doozy, so I’ll cut to the chase. Some important group-wide changes and announcements are a-coming!

Expansion

This is probably our most exciting announcement. While Polaris has thus far been a bit of an invite group, after a poll and discussion between the admins, we’ve decided to start advertising in the tags! Because we still want to maintain something of a close knit-group, we have decided to put a limit on it though. Currently, we have 10 wonderful starbursts (including ourselves), and we have chosen to open our doors to a grand total of 18. In the next few days, we will begin advertising in the tags and updating some of our pages to make sure we’re ready for some fresh new faces. If anyone has tips on how we can best get ourselves up and running, we would more than appr4eciate it!

Activity

So far, we haven’t enforced any kind of activity, mostly because we know that it can sometimes be daunting to have to post. We still don’t want anyone to feel like they need to force themselves to get online, but since we will be opening up to some new pals, we do think it’s a necessary evil. Please don’t worry though! We’ve decided on something that is (hopefully) relaxed. If you haven’t posted within seven days, you’ll be put on an activity check. Failure to post within 24 hours of that will result in an unfollow and your roles being reopened.

Now, since this is a mumu and most of us love adding a new character every so often, we do have a little stipulation. It’’s not fair for someone who only has two characters to be held to the same activity standards as someone with, say, 22. So, our system will be as follows (for now, as a trial run):

If you have one character, you must post on that character within seven days.

If you have two to four characters, you must post on at least two of them to meet the activity requirement.

If you have five characters, you must post on at least three of them to meet the activity requirement.

If you have six or seven characters, you must post on at least four of them to meet the activity requirement.

Anyone with eight or more characters must post on at least five of their characters to meet the activity requirement.

So for an example, I (admin Jeanne) am currently at five characters. If only post on Haley and Lucia over the course of seven days, I wouldn’t be considered active. However, if I post on Haley, Lucia, Lenora, and Esther, then we are good to go! We know muse can be fickle, so hopefully this gives some wiggle room if you’re ever not feeling a particular muse for a spell.

I’ll be adding a hiatus form tomorrow for anyone who needs to take time off! Our first activity check will be seven days from today, so please make sure to post accordingly.

Memes and Tasks

We’re ending this massive post on a fun note! Starting this Wednesday, we’ll be having doing memes every other week. These will be reblogged on to the Polarisursas blog, so make sure you’re following! Specific guidelines can be found on the posts once we get things started. We’ll switch up the style, but in our experience, memes are always a fun way to get phones interacting and exploring their characters more! On the weeks that we don’t have a meme, we will post a task. These will (usually) be completely optional, but think of them as a way of doing a bit more of a deep dive into your characters and others!

Misc

All of these changes are on a trial run for now, and we hope that our players feel comfortable to come to use with any questions or concerns about them. This is first and foremost a group effort, and when Leigh and I first scream-texted about this idea weeks ago, I never thought we would get it off the ground for more than a day. We truly hope you’re all feeling comfortable, and we want that feeling to continue.

Leigh and I will be working on some more skeletons to be released over the next few days!! In addition, we’ll be whipping up a page offering inclination ideas, if you want a new character but don’t quite jive with any of the current skeletons. These will just be a sentence or two if you’re looking for a jumping-off point — some basic powers or skills that you’re free to expand on and assign to a constellation of your choice. Or you’re welcome to keep on using the skeletons that Leigh (because she’s the brains and beauty of this operation) magically crafts for us!!!

lana grew up in a big house in albany, NY. i picture it w dark oak floors n lots of light furniture. albums framed on walls. mayb some rolling stone covers too frm way bk when of the bands her dad’s label signed. kind of like… a rock star palace w no evidence of children at all. i think i described it best in one of lana’s self paras once when i said the garden ws “as big as it was unloved”

lana’s mum victoria (vic) ws a music journalist w a pretty fruitful career ahead of her when she met lana’s dad richard (rich). his record label ws jst starting out, founded on the coattails of his rich best friend’s (jensen peters) investment w his other best friend (who he jst calls knoxville). it rocketed to success when they signed poppy injects, a rock band w an electric stage presence, n victoria ws drawn to the glitz n glamour of a man tht ws at the helm of his aspiring industry. their love ws very impulsive, all or nothing right frm the start, n it ws almost like she ws mre in love w his accomplishments n what he represented than him. jst a leetle bit Fractured in its intentions.

anyway so jameson records repped a few big rock bands bk in the eighties, altho poppy injects r who they’re mostly known fr, namely bc of hw brightly they crashed n burned. they were a big chart success bt the lead singer hd quite an intense struggle w heroin (wsnt rly subtle abt it either while he ws in the public eye as u cn probably imagine frm such an on-the-nose band name) n he ws always in n out of the papers. it eventually brought down his career n it ws a big publicity nightmare

lana pretty much… grew up around figures like this throughout childhood. rly troubled characters who wld kind of… b extremely volatile n destructive abt their troubles. the jameson house was kind of an open one as welcoming clients went n a lot of parties took place there. a lot of the time musicians wld b snorting lines in the kitchen when she wnted to grab a bowl of cereal fr breakfast n it was just. a very strange environment fr a child to grow up in

her parents always kind of jst… didn’t like her much. her older brother caleb ws unplanned bt they sort of welcomed the surprise more bt… quickly realised they weren’t cut out fr parenthood n then when lana came as another surprise 3 yrs later they didn’t even try to hide their resentment abt the situation. her mum ws actually booked in to have an abortion bt cldnt go through with it at the last minute. once when lana asked her why shes so cold towards her she jst turned her head frm her dresser, looked at her, told her abt this n said “idk why i didn’t go”. lana didn’t kno wht to say to tht so she jst left her room n closed the door

(dissociation tw) bc of this growing up lana adopted this weird like…. she didn’t rly kno what it ws bt it ws a delusion of sorts where she thought she ws a ghost. she’d jst sort of… drift around the halls w noone acknowledging her n sometimes she ws jst convinced she wsnt actually there or they cldnt see her n she ws jst haunting the house frm a previous family

the one saving grace tho tht sort of?? gt her thru this n made her feel Seen ws caleb. lana quite genuinely hs always thought the sun shines out of her older brothers ass like she jst thinks. hes the best person in the entire world. wld b rly bewildered if anyone questioned tht. he wld always look out for her in the zoo they called a home n cut the crusts off her sandwiches (he’d cook fr them most of the time bc their parents were too busy/didn’t care to) n sometimes wld even sleep at the bottom of her bed curled up like a guard dog. it ws always lana n caleb n his best friend tommy against the world in tht house (tommy lived next door n was always over bc he had very strict parents including a military father tht he found suffocating)

SO when caleb n tommy announced tht they’d signed up to the army lana ws understandably…….. completely blindsided. she ws rly upset tht they were leaving bt she tried not to b mad at them n made them promise theyd b safe n back as soon as possible. she even asked if they cld somehow take her w them n they were jst like :/ it doesn’t work that way luv x

(death tw, ptsd tw, grief tw, trauma tw, hospitalisation tw, drugs tw) anyway caleb ended up getting discharged under grounds of severe ptsd when he witnessed tommy die in an explosion tht took place in a shock raid. caleb returned home sans tommy bt he was never the same after tht. he’s been in and out of hospital twice nw n he’s currently dipped off the radar after starting to use. lana kind of felt like two of her brothers died out there in a way n jst like tht it wasn’t them vs the world any mre, it was jst her. she doesn’t talk abt this tho. when she feels the urge to cry she usually jst smiles

ANYWAY whew tht rly…. took a dark turn there….. chuckles nervously at hw sad lana’s life is bt it’s fine it’s all fINE!!!!!!! ok. so on a mre lighthearted note the jameson family r pretty well off n bc of her relation to such a big music industry figure she’s hung out w a fair few relatively high rep ppl thru her teens. mostly kids of celebrities n stuff like tht. she amassed kind of an instagram following mainly fr her style (v penny lane-esque in some aspects aka lots of fur cuff trimmed jackets bt then also jst…. a wild combination of everything honestly. pastel faux fur coats, seventies style platforms, flame red cowboy boots, pink fishnet tights n glitter used like highlight Everywhere) n bc she’s undeniably Very Pretty

(trauma tw) after caleb got back he was rly withdrawn n depressed. he shut lana out n was kind of harsh to her a lot of the time, always telling her to leave him alone or pushing her away. it didnt help either tht lana had a rly traumatic experience w some of her dad’s colleagues at the label when she ws 16 n he was away n she cldnt even tell him abt it once he was bk bc of his own traumas. she kind of jst shut it all in n kept it to herself

(hypersexuality tw) this obviously?? made her spiral a lot. she was already a girl tht loved sex (she’d only rly done foreplay before tho) but since her trauma it got…. completely out of hand. it got to a point where she couldnt rly go 2 days without it, probably not even 1. her lowest point has probably been scrolling thru craiglist for anonymous encounters n meeting up w strangers on there fr a quick fuck jst for the thrill even tho it’s insanely dangerous n she cld wind up getting herself killed. it’s v clear at this point tht she has a sex addiction whether she’s ever admitted it or not. it kind of… almost mingled w tht same feeling she used to get when she ws younger of being a ghost?? like she jst. only rly feels Real when she’s being touched

(violence tw) a mre recent point of history is her involvement w danny nielsen (an evil npc of mine who is possibly the antichrist??? pending investigation). he attended radcliffe n lived in a house w a group of guys near campus. it wsn’t a registered frat bt he essentially…ran it like one it ws kind of a weird set-up where he ws the King Of The Roost. essentially he found out tht lana n a guy called zeke slept together n he ended up beating him to near death in front of her bc his pride ws rly bruised since they were meant to be dating (if u can call it tht bc danny’s idea of dating is very Warped). ANYWAY he ws found guilty n sent to jail so it ws like Intense n a gd example of the kinds of disastrous relationships she gets herself into. perks of being a wallflower voice: We Accept The Love We Think We Deserve.

PERSONALITY:

always smells vaguely of wild cherries or strawberry starburst or jst the candy aisle in general. if she ws a vinyl record she’d b this one n she’d only play good vibrations by the beach boys, dancing on my own by robyn, play that funky music by wild cherry, femme fatale by the velvet underground n (i can’t get no) satisfaction by the rolling stones 

growing up lana was always a huge social butterfly. knew everyone n everyone knew her. she ws one of those girls tht ws kind of impossible to ignore or forget. very animated, always made u feel like u were the centre of the universe whenever she spoke to u, always made it feel like u were best friends even if ud only spoken to her once. 

deliberately puts on tht kind of Magnetic Alluring Act tht femme fatales wear in movies w most ppl. kind of…. is always playing A Role of the person tht she wants to b seen as. chameleons to situations. feels like she’s performed as the vivacious n fun loving Lana Jameson fr so long tht she doesn’t rly kno who she is beneath tht bt she isn’t too keen to find out

she’s always been rly spontaneous n adventurous. always doing something weird n wild every weekend. she has ten thousand ridiculously absurd n chaotic stories

uncontrollably flirty. boundlessly confident. cld make a joke out a paper bag n her comedy is sometimes surreal / absurd. she tends to laugh when she feels like crying n has a smile brighter than a ray of texas sunshine. 

always dapples her fingers thru the breeze when she’s driving in a car w the window down. she almost always has some sort of sweet on her, whether it’s sour haribo cherries or strawberry lollipops. 

she adores david bowie n prince n madonna n anyone tht’s a vintage style icon w little care fr what ppl think. 

daisies n poppies r her fav flowers bc daisies r wild n overlooked n poppies r the first thing u look at in a green field. she’s had like 8472493874 ‘relationships’ n none of them hav lasted beyond a month / hav been terrible / hav seen her being treated badly / she’s cheated on them. i dnt think she’s actually ever been w anyone she hasn’t cheated on in some form or another
