not book related but I finished aot a few days ago and needless to say it's consumed my thoughts. so here is an aot verse aelin!

aelin galathynius is an eldian residing in marley. she was born into the royal bloodline on her mothers side, who is a distant relative of dina, and making aelin a distant cousin of sorts to zeke. at the end of the great titan war, a branch of the royal family refused to flee to paradis island with king fritz, which included her parents. they resided in liberio with dina fritz and other eldians, biding their time until the eldian empire could regain power. unfortunately, when aelin was around the age of eight, her parents were murdered, leaving her orphaned.

she was taken in by a man named arobynn hamel, a highly respected leader in the marleyan military who is known for raising impressive warriors (most are orphaned marleyans but it’s not that uncommon for him to have an eldian). where her parents taught the history of eldia with pride, arobynn beat any notion of love she might have for her heritage out of her and restyled her in his own image to the point that she no longer acknowledges her royal bloodline. she only wants to please marley and become an honorary marleyan. he trained her with ruthless efficiency to be a killer, going as far as forcing her to break her right hand so that she could train exclusively with her weaker left, and giving her lashing whenever she failed a particular task. she quickly learned not to fail at all.

eventually, she joined the warrior unit of the millitary with the other eldians. due to her preliminary training as a child under arobynn's supervision, she quickly rose in the ranks and is considered one of the best fighters amongst her class behind the titan holders, but is instructed by arobynn to hold back and remain behind the nine chosen titan holders. this is because arobynn has his own plans for her, wanting to send her to paradis for his own scheming reasons, needing to ensure her life isn’t a ticking expiration date, whether marley approves her going or not. for writing purposes: either they approve her going and she joins marcel, annie, reiner, and bertolt to paradis or she sneaks onto the ship per arobynn’s instructions and joins them at some point once they are there. she then joins the 104th training corps, with a main focus on aiding her comrades and gathering secret intel for arobynn.

additional headcanons: - her and annie grew up very similarly, and therefore have a kind of unspoken friendship between them, especially as they age - although in the warrior unit, she was trained moreso as an assassin vs a soldier - she would be the first of the group to turn against marley and join eldia - befriends mikasa (much to her chagrin) and forces her to teach her new tricks with the odm gear - armin reminds her of sam

**DISCLAIMER: there are way too many characters in this series so i’m gonna do my top five. if you want to see something based on another character, just ask!

5. Yrene - Muse A is a physical therapy major who decided to volunteer at a hospital in a small town. It’s small and there is hardly anyone there, so they are basically gonna spend their volunteer hours sitting around and doing nothing. Of course, her plans are smashed when she gets there and is assigned to help one person, Muse B. Muse B is a paraplegic around Muse A’s age who lost control of their bottom half doing something that they’re hella passionate about and have been in the hospital for a couple years while they wait for something good to finally happen to them. 

4. Dorian - Muse A is probably the most promiscuous person in school. They get whatever they want with a few well-placed words and a couple promises to come back later. Of course, in comes the new kid, Muse B, who has absolutely no interest in what Muse A has to offer, which leads to Muse A’s extreme confusion and frustration, especially when people begin to follow Muse B’s example. 

3. Aelin - Muse A has quite the fiery personality, to say the least. They believe in what they believe in, and they believe in it wholeheartedly. They’ll march in parades, they’ll perform non-violent (and VERY violent) protests, or they’ll find ways to fight their way into meetings with very important people. Whatever they need to do to get what they want, they’ll do. One day, during one of their meetings, in comes the heir of this horrible company, Muse B, who manages to both charm and peeve off Muse A. 

2. Lorcan - Muse A is that one edgy kid that sits in the back of the class, not paying attention and probably scratching bad words into the top of their desk because they’re just that edgy. One day, in a last-ditch effort to catch up with their grades, they start to go see a tutor, Muse B, who simply finds Muse A’s “edginess” to be more amusing than actually intimidating, which is what Muse A was kinda going for.

1. Manon - Muse A is in a gang. They’re not just in a gang, no, they’re the head of this gang, which, by the way, is seen as the most dangerous gang in town. Of course, their town is small, so there’s pretty much only one other gang around, but nobody has actually seen anyone but their underlings.Their leader is completely unknown or unheard of. One day, Muse A gets the attention of Muse B, the town golden boy/girl. And the leader of the second gang.

An agreement was made. To search Prythian high and low for a cure to the discord that had plagued not only the lands of the High Fae, but the Ancient fae, and Valbaran Fae as well. Bryce suggested the guise of parties, meant to be opportunities to search high and low for the magical object(s) that would send them home, and free Prythian from the evil that had gripped it in recent years.

The hunt began and notices were sent high and low, to every member of the courts. Come one and come all to celebrate the joys of immortal life, open bars, and free food.

Prythian HQ is a Roleplay Group based 50 years after A House of Sky and Breath. We focus on the next generation coming of age, while the canon characters are still playable.
