What do your boys smell like?

I talked about this a bit on this earlier post and I don't think I have anything significant to add to it at this time. But I could tell you which perfumes they might wear in modern times? (Scents are hard to describe but I included some of their main notes to give you a vaguest idea of what they're like).

Vasco

État libre d'Orange - Tom of Finland (iris, leather, tonka bean) Dior - Homme Parfum (leather, iris, rose) Tom Ford - Tuscan leather (leather, woody, amber)

Machete

Heeley - Cardinal (linen, myrrh, frankincense) État libre d'Orange - Rien Intense Incense (frankincense, amber) Lalique - Encre Noire (cypress, vetiver)

#I'm kind of sensitive to strong smells but also one of those people that are constantly sniffing everything (?)#so navigating perfumery is kind of hazardous a lot of them give me a headache or make me feel sort of ill and dizzy #but I think these are nice I own/have owned all of these except Tuscan Leather #which is so sophisticated and rich and leathery but awfully overpriced and I don't think I can ever afford a full bottle #answered #anonymous #modern au #a lot of overlapping ingredients because big surprise leather and frankincense are my favorites #I usually wear perfumes at home only because smelling strongly is kind of a faux pas in Finnish culture #a lot of schools and workplaces for example are expected or at least strongly encouraged to be as scent free as possible #which is smart I approve that #but it does limit your opportunities to find uses for these things

My BPAL order came in today! Finally got a full size of my favorite perfume of theirs (that I've found so far) Grave Pig. Got Troll and Deep in Earth as frimps. While I love all of my BPAL perfumes (I have quite a few from their collaborative with Sphere + Sundry), Grave Pig has remained a favorite and it was sorely missed.

what's your favourite perfumes for fall? 🍂

hmm well im more obsessed this fall than i was last year and its not quite cold yet so im not yet getting the chance to see what performs better for the season..! but i do know Givenchy L'Interdit Rouge was a winter favourite ill again be marinating in, and Mugler Aura ive put off all summer cause i think it suits cool weather best...and i just got these two vials from Universal Flowering, Saffron Flour (horchata note!!) which is very sweet, and Poems One through Twelve which is very dryyy spicy but develops a little sweeter...definitely going to be testing that a lot as its really fascinating me.

also feels like the best time to wear demeter beetroot just it smells more like dirt than beets than the sample did ahhh not really befitting of any occasion that comes to mind (and mostly all i do is go to work lol) AND I WANT A HAY PERFUME !!

#for hay pineward perfumes has a lot of options but im definitely anxious about getting a candle-esque scent as i did with solstice scents...#valensole romance wren atelier i just heard about and it sounds lovely also...hay chocolate honey wheat....#jo malone oat and cornflower + primrose and rye i could only dream of finding #ambers i dont think i have many but i love it on my bf...adwaa al sharq afnan im thinking to get soon quite affordable and well-regarded #thank you for asking omg hi. finally i get to talk about this #anon

Ashley, being the president's daughter, I can see her splurging for a luxurious fruity, yet floral feminine perfume. When I smelt Cassili for the first time, I knew this is the one for her. Elegant yet youth-like at the same time. Though, I don't see RE4R Ashley as a snob, and she would enjoy humble options like God Is A Woman by Ariana Grande.

its very funny to me that murr got guessed twice on that one blorbo scents post as expensive perfume and wasted potential. yall are giving that man too much credit
