@afunnygirl: Great book, with a heart breaking narrative. Wonderful characters, so gripping.

@afunnygirl: I'm particularly attached to Sara, would love to hear more of her story, and I must confess an attachment to John, too!

@afunnygirl: Their treatment of him, admittedly, breaks my heart somewhat. He's often belittled, treated as though he's lesser, which I know from my own experiences can be hurtful. Our talents and our intellect presents itself in vastly different ways, but that doesn't mean that it isn't there.

Today marked a special day for a few reasons! My birthday, for one. But more importantly, it marked the arrival of my Papa, who came to surprise me! And, in addition to that, he adopted this bundle of joy for me. So, thank you for two delightful surprises, Papa, and welcome to the family, Froufrou.
