"Whoever, when suffering from an ailment, patiently endures it and considers it a means of proximity to Allah, Allah writes down for him the same reward as that of a thousand martyrs."

Indeed, it is true. The more loved you are by Allah عزوجل, the harder your tests shall be and trials were upon The Holy Messengers & The Sacred Ahlul Bayt too. But worry not as he doesn’t burden the soul beyond that it can bear and he is all aware of what the unjust do. A time of patience will soon turn into the rewarding hour where peace & freedom will overthrow the now enemies out of power. But until then, when you see the lying corpses emitting the musk of paradise, know that angels carry their souls to heavens. And the martyred children are now playing with Prophet Ibrahim عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ and those who lost them will be drinking from river Kausar after them. They are the chosen people of God, most loved, most cherished. They are the people of Palestine who will hold the hand of their Master ﷺ and enter Paradise.

"What Imam Ali Ibn Abu Talib (a) Said on the Occasion of the Burial of the Supreme Lady, Fatima (a), While Addressing the Holy Prophet (s) at His Grave: O Prophet of Allah (s)! Peace be upon you from me and from your daughter who has come to you and who has hastened to meet you. O Prophet of Allah (s), my patience about your chosen (daughter) has been exhausted and my power of endurance has weakened, except that I have ground for consolation in having endured the great hardship and heartrending event of your separation.
"I laid you down in your grave when you breathed your last (as your head was) between my neck and chest. "Verily we are Allah's and verily to Him shall we return" (Holy Quran, 2: 156).
Now, the trust has been returned, and what had been given has been taken back. As to my grief, it knows no bounds, and as to my nights, they will remain sleepless till Allah chooses for me the house in which you are now residing.
Certainly, your daughter will apprise you of the joining together of your umma (people) for the aim of oppressing her. Ask her for the details and get all the news. This has happened only a short period of time had elapsed, yet your remembrance has already disappeared... My Salam be to you both, the Salam of a grief-stricken one, nor a disgusted nor a hateful one. If I go away, it is not because I am weary (of you), and if I stay, it is not due to lack of belief in what Allah has promised those who endure."
-Sermon 202 of Nahj al-balagha.

The Imām is concomitant with every drop that falls from the sky, with every ray of sunlight, every petal that has fallen to the ground. He is with every heavenly planet and star that lights up the heavens, from our solar system to the farthest galaxies of the universe. This is the depth and extent of the Imām's spiritual dominion within the Realm of Subsistence.
Since the Imām is concomitant with our very existence, and with the existence of all creation, he is closer to ourselves than we are. Therefore, wherever we may be, if we call upon him, he will respond.
The first person who enjoyed this status, who, by the leave of God and His guidance and light, was given such command at that Realm of Subsistence, was the Holy Prophet ﷺ, the Seal of all prophets and messengers. Thereafter, it was bequeathed to his singular disciple, 'Alī ibn Abī Tālib (ع). This lofty status, this apex of Wilāyah, was then transferred to Hasan and Husayn (ع) and the nine descendants of Imām Husayn (ع), who would pass that mantle consecutively until it arrived upon al-Hujjah ibn al-Hassan al-'Askarī (عجل الله فرجه), al-Qā'im Ale Muhammad.
The Awaited Imām, Imam Mahdi, has an existential concomitance with all beings in the created realm. Therefore, when you call out, 'O Master of the Age' [yā Sāhib al-Zamān], he is there with you, wherever you may be.

Imam Ali as said, 'I have not seen a wrong-doer resemble a wronged person more than the jealous one: he has an exhausted spirit, a wandering heart, and an inherent sorrow.'
