Presenting the 10th issue of the Algorithms of Late-Capitalism zine: “Data Gardens”
🤖 Digital Edition
🤖 Self-printing Edition
——————————————
Immerse yourself in a garden of data. A place where data is not immaterial bits aggregated and analyzed by automated systems, but rather nurtured and cared for as material and relational.

This edition of Algorithms of Late-Capitalism was created by internet teapot (Karla Zavala and Adriaan Odendaal) with special contribution from the participants of the NoBIAS – Artificial Intelligence without BiasAI Festival Marie Skłodowska-Curie initiative during a workshop on 30 June 2023 during their Doctoral School.
A slightly modified work of mine from early 2022. That year a meme spawned where old clips from Sesame Street became popular. They were from an episode where Zoey had a rock she named Rocco and pretended it was a real person, which drove Elmo insane. It’s always hilarious to see Sesame Street characters go off the rails, and this instance of Elmo having none of Zoey’s nonsense is no exception!
I think it is genuinely really funny that of all the Lance's from my different aus, the most chill one out of all of them is the one who got violently murdered and came back as an unperceivable eldritch horror whose first act after coming back was vengence on the guy who killed him and then steal his house.
I woke up at 3:30 this morning to make an early flight to Cleveland for the Content Entrepreneur Expo, which is the first conference I've been to as an attendee since 2018, I think. Among other things I want to get out of the conference, I'm hoping to figure out how to implement artificial intelligence into my workday so that I can have more time to do more things. Today was a four-hour pre-conference workshop to kick things off. The technology is advancing so fast that it's going to take some work to stay on top of it, but I sincerely feel like my future professional success depends upon my ability to adapt to it. Stay tuned.
