Callum figure is done!!

Been working on this guy for about 2 months now, so i’m glad he’s finally done!

Admittedly his face isn’t perfect, but this is my first human figure so i’m not too mad about it. I found out a lot about felt and using fabric in clay figures during this, and i’m quite happy.

Callum dwarfs my previous figures, with Airy and Donnie as comparison. Originally his arms and legs were supposed to be more flexible, but turns out the felt restricts movement quite a lot so he’s stuck to minimal shoulder movement instead. Also jeans fabric is very thick which stiffened his legs.

Despite this though, the figure had more wins than losses in production (especially compared to Donnie and Leo who were accidentally beheaded or dismembered at least 5 times) and i think he turned out well.

Might put Rayla on my list of figures to make next, but Pomni from TADC is next in line because i feel she’ll work with the wire mechanics well.

I think ONE has severely damaged me and my friends...

I’ve had notifs for google’s word-of-the-day thing on for months now and I shouldn’t have been surprised when I saw it but, this came up earlier and you can guess what I thought...

My friend sent me this back in early January,

and if they stopped in the store to record a vid to send in the group chat, I think it’s safe to say I’ve left a mark on them. 

AND JUST LIKE- 20 minutes or so ago I was watching a video and they scrolled through the tictok comments and this one fucking stopped me in my tracks!

It’s come to a point where my friends call him “Mr Plane” because I could not shut up about him a couple months ago. I’ve calmed down now (no I haven’t) but the damage is done. 

I literally cannot see that word without thinking of him.
