You hadn't seen Aj in a while, having seen him more regularly before you guys started dating. Once you guys did become a couple, it was really just the conformation that you both had each other to go to in the end. Which meant neither of you guys felt the need to be as persistent as you were in your friendship. Neither of you had really been in a serious relationship before, yours only had been in your early years of high school, and Aj only had a 'girlfriend' for about a fortnight, if he had one at all.

Aj couldn't lie if someone asked if he was missing you, because he very clearly was. So it was a race to the door when you showed up at the Beta Squad house to film a quick clip for Niko's channel.

"Y/n, baby." He said, dragging out the 'y'. He pulled you into a sweet hug, wrapping his arms around your waist with yours around his neck. Since you were only a couple inches shorter you could lay your head on his shoulder.

"I've missed you, Aj." You said as you pulled away from the hug to take your shoes off.

As soon as you bent down to undo your shoe laces he started walking away, leaving you confused and thinking he was mad because of his abrupt departure.

You started making your through the house in your black socks, heading to the living room, when you saw Aj come out of it smiling.

"Love?" You said as he approached you and planted his hands on your waist.

"I just made a deal with Niko so we could spend today together instead of you filming something for him." He said while pulling away and dragging you to his room with a big grin on his face.

"You could've just texted me you wanted to hang out you know?"

"Yeah I know but this way means we get to be together right now." He said as he flicked off the lights and pulled you onto his bed.

"What are we doing Aj?" You said as you sat up on his bed to pull off your jacket.

He said nothing as he positioned himself against the headboard with you in between his legs, pulling you back into him as he put the remote on your thigh and his hand on your other. He spent the rest of the day constantly falling asleep while watching B99 with you, but always had to have been touching you in some way. Wether it was just holding your hand and lying on your side, or pulling you into a bear hug you can't escape.

San looks at you and he can't help but smile. Because when he looks into your eyes, for the most part, he only sees the sun, the stars and all simple things that make life beautiful.

When it comes down to everything, San tries to be neutral. He does. Especially when he knows he can't be involved and needs to step back.

But, he hates this.

He really hates seeing you hurt, and he hates that you've been crying. That things have changed so drastically, that you've been sad time and time again. That life hasn't been so friendly. Sometimes, he doesn't understand how the universe works and why sweet, gentle souls like yourself ever had to go through things like this.

Initially, San was really interested in you. He was, he won't sugarcoat that. He saw you and thought you were  incredibly beautiful. There was something about the way you carried yourself, something in the way you gracefully moved. He would have never guessed you would have gone through the things you went through if he hadn't known JJ and them. So yeah, he did want you at one point. He still feels those feelings lingering, but in the time he's gotten to know you, he's realized how much your friendship matters the most.

How much you need him there as a friend.

And San will gladly push his feelings aside to be there. The more he got to know you, the more he understood how much of a genuine, pure person you were. You saw beauty in simplicity, joy in the littlest things, and the sun through the dark clouds. He can only imagine what you've gone through, and he doesn't wanna seem like he pities you— but he knows you need the support more than ever.

When you called him that night, he truly did panic. He wasn't sure if you got hurt again, if something terrible happened [god forbid], but he heard the shakiness in his voice and couldn't help but think of the worst possible scenario. He was glad you called though, because he wanted to be there no matter what. He's glad you're comfortable enough to turn to him because he feels the same way, and he feels like you've supported him in the short amount of time you've really gotten to know him. He just wants you happy, and he'll make sure to help you get there.

Whatever that looks like.

He was glad he could help calm you down and be of some sort of guidance, support. Hopefully, in the end, this means the end of all this. Hopefully, this means your friends finally understand where things went wrong, where things could've gone better. Everyone is just going through growing pains, trying to navigate this new leaf, this entirely new chapter in life; especially for you. But he means it when he says he knows they tried. It's just unfortunate that everything played out the way it did, and of course, it does hurt a bit to know that San was there for you in ways Minho could have been.

He'll pause though, and he'll shove that in the back of his mind. Dust it under the rug. He knows you'll always have love for Minho, just as he for you.

There is history there that he cannot compare to.

He just really, really hopes Minho will learn and grow. Not only for you, but for himself. To be better moving forward, overall. Because for the first time, behind that sun, the stars and all simple things that make life beautiful, he could see the pain, the hurt, the fear mixed within— threatening to darken all that gold you hold in those orbs.

And all he wants is for you to be happy.

“I can’t believe i actually heed your words and followed you all the way here,” you scoffed and playfully slap you boyfriend’s shoulders, causing him to laugh while pulling your hands back into his.

The beach was serene as there wasn’t many people lingering around, only leaving the 2 of you sitting by the bench and enjoying the night breeze.

The whole getaway was impromptu — you were working from home and you picked up the phone call from you boyfriend who was supposed to be at his dorm with other members, hearing the latter asking you to pack some of your stuff and meet him downstairs in 1 hour.

You panicked because you still have plenty of work in hand but you were surprised by how Hyunjin reassured you by applying annual leave for you. Even though your head was filled with confusion, you still packed your stuff and met him on time.

On the way he was telling you about how hectic his schedules have been, hence the lack of time to meet you physically or even going on a date. Once in a blue moon he was given with 2 days break and so he decided to visit Oido island, including bringing you along.

“Well, do you like the scenery?” He pulled you closer to his embrace, one hand snaking around your waist and the other gently placing your head on his shoulders. He finished filming his vlog earlier and now you both can finally spend some couple time together in a new place.

“Yes i do, thankfully i came with you, work was driving me crazy,” you nudged a little closer to him, sniffing in his mild fragrant scent that is your all time favourite. You can always find peace in his arms, no matter where both of you go.

“We need a break babe, to walk further in life. We need to live life like a marathon, not a sprint,” his husky voice ringed beside your ears, soon feeling a soft kiss placed on your head by your lover.

“Hyun, shall we take a wefie together? It has been really long,” you whipped out your camera from your tote bag, waving slightly infront of him which caused him smiling from ears to ears.

“Of course we have to,” he took over the camera and finding the best angle to take them, only to find you creeping behind him, placing both hands over his neck and back hug him.

“I saw couples on the net doing the same position so i wanna try,” you whispered into his ears, hearing chuckles leaving his lips as he nodded and hold onto your hands with one of his free hand.

“1,2,3, cheese!” both of you recited in unison, giving the warmest smile while throwing all the burdens aside temporarily.

“As expected, you are talented in everything,” you take back the camera, scanning through the photos he had taken, grinning at how the photos were perfectly captured.

“Even if i am talented in everything, i am still a baby infront of you,” he leaned in to peck your pink lips, staying on them for awhile before diving deeper to explore more of you.

You pulled away after awhile as your eyes caught someone walking pass, covering your face with both of your palms. squealing at how awkward it was to kiss in public and people seen it somemore.

“I don’t really care, as long as im with you,” he took your palms into his, pulling you back into his arms and shared with you how the night is beautiful and how he hope to stay with you as long as he can live.
