More scribbles were heard from the quill, but Neuvillette knew the little triumphant smirk you surely had on your face. He didn’t even need to see it, but he didn’t need to, for his focus was elsewhere, and it surely was not towards the very card you two were writing for your beloved melusines. 

Neuvillette’s gloved hands clenched onto the armrests of his chair, too stunned, too pleasured, too in awe to be playing Santa right now. As bad as he wanted to finish this elaborate surprise you two wanted to have for the Melusines of Fontaine, his eyes flutter shut at the very feel of your walls clenching around him. His abdomen hurts, his own cock pulsing endlessly as a result of you denying the pleasurable release he so craved over the course of the past hour.

What a shame, really. I thought you’d be a little more focused than this.” Your tone was filled with innocence, everyone would hear it as such, but not Neuvillette. No, Neuvillette knew just how little your disappointment truly was, and he cannot help but feel his sexual frustration grow. You have him where you wanted him: wrapped around your pretty finger.  

“You….” He growls, his hands taking purchase of your hips, eager now to remind you of just who your lover is, until…

The door to Neuvillette’s office swings open, causing you both to immediately halt your actions. Neuvillette’s eyes fly open, his gloved hands wrapping you into a seemingly innocent embrace, his chin perched on your right shoulder as your hands subtly cover the box of holiday cards. “Monsieur Neuvillette?” A feminine voice calls, one that makes you two notice the very melusine you two were just writing for. 

“Ahhh, Sedene,” Neuvillette coughs, making himself smile over at her. “It’s quite…late. To what do we owe the pleasure?” Your cheeks felt the heat rushing to them, your face suddenly feeling warmer by the second as your lips curved up into a smile. You didn’t fail to take notice of Neuvillette’s hands that keep your hips flush against his own, the way he clings onto them like some vice, making you feel a tinge of pride for having him so helpless. 

“Has this…Santa passed by the Palais Mermonia yet?” Sedene asks, her head tilted to the side in genuine curiosity. Neuvillette cannot even find himself to be the least bit upset at the interruption. 

“Not yet, Sedene. You must wait till the morning to see if Santa has left you some presents. See, I heard you must be asleep while Santa fulfills his duties. We must not disturb him.” His deep and gentle voice, now even more leveled than it has been so far echoing in his office, his gaze endearing towards the truly innocent melusine. 

“So…I must go home?”

“Yes, you must go home, Sedene.”

Her cute footsteps finally retreat after this realization, the door closing once more, but your initial cockiness has completely disappeared. If Sedene was here in the Palais Mermonia for as long as she said she had, did she hear anything? Was Neuvillette’s door soundproof? Suddenly the factors you have not considered made themselves known, but it all quiets down with the deep chuckle of your lover resounding in your ear. 

“Seems like you’re embarrassed, dear.” He whispers, the feel of leather on your thighs as his hands wander teasingly under your dress. 

“I am the Iudex,” He growls. “It’s about time you right your wrongs under my terms, hm?”

I literally binge-read your Surrender (whenever you're ready) and Something (just like this) fanfics in two and a half nights. I have never, absolutely ever, in all my years reading fanfiction, actually reading fiction at all, read such gorgeous stories. The way you write both Izuku and Bakugou - Bakugou especially and his relationship with Weeds(which still has me squealing days after) - has me on a chokehold. And the whole plot for both is so- well-written and moving and just sweet. (I ADORE Haruto and Hitomu+Yua from their respective fanfictions alot too).

Yua and Haurto seeing the same trauma counsellor, in some non-descript office in a part of the city they’d never otherwise be in. I know I’m answering this a little late, but did you know that yesterday—May the 5th—was Children’s Day in Japan? On the tail end of Golden Week. 🎏✨🥹 Kids in parks and temples everywhere, bright carp kites/flags… I like imagining the festivities being patrolled by brightly-coloured superheroes, like Deku, who’s just so grateful he can be there. Bakugou, who gets accosted by kids with paper hats made in his colours, or something. Haru playing with other kids in a park while Weeds sits on a bench as Akane gossips and her daughter tells her to stop, LOL. Yuachan with her parents, her mum holding her hand tightly as they move through the crowds. 🥺 Hitomu and Miki are out with Miki’s friends, looking at comics or shopping on some bright street while they argue about the latest boy band Miki likes, LOL. And Scribbles is half a city away, sitting in the studio with the door open for the spring sunshine, waiting for Deku’s patrol to end.

It'd take him a moment but then he'd understand...for the most part

Overall very supportive but might mess up every once in a while (he's trying and that's all that matters <3)

Fry’s hair is simple, but it just stands out to me. Maya got a cool design, but I’m kinda neutral about her. Don’t feel like I really know either of their characters enough for a solid opinion

Cyrillo’s design is easily one of the best, but I had no idea what his talent means

✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

I wanted a name that ends in -ne so I looked some up. I almost went with Akane but that means red, and she is literally blue. I mean she looks pink in the image but that's just lighting hush

🌼 - How old are they? (Or approximate age range)

Ayane is, textually, a fictional character. Her book was first published six years prior to the events of Dream Quest. Within the text of her book, she is 16. She has lived her own life over and over for every time that someone has read her book, though her memories of the loops are hazy. As a result she is simultaneously 6, 16, and millions of years old.

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

In the book within a book, Desert Reign, she is in a love triangle with a captive prince named Ramades and a commoner named Amneris. However, neither of them show up in Dream Quest and she has no desire to meet them. Her primary love interest is Henry Sinclair, though she has not expressed romantic interest in him yet.

🍕 - What is their favorite food?

The local style of bread in Kar Zippar is a sort of sourdough flatbread cooked in a wood burning tannour oven. Ayane likes hers with herb butter.

💼 - What do they do for a living?

Ayane is a court musician owned by the villainous Lord Ordog. One may think "that's similar to Kotone," and it's intentional. I wanted to reference my own work in Dream Quest without actually making it a crossover, as I felt that would cheapen the image of Water Maiden. Ayane is the Kotone at home. The shadow on the cave wall

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

Mainly she enjoys dreamwalking with Henry, that is, traveling through the dreamlands and having adventures. She is starting to get into guitar.

She is a most talented harpist. Unfortunately she hates it.

Many of her memories from the events of Desert Reign are tainted; thinking about them causes her to doom spiral into existentialism. Her current favorite memory is attending a fair with Henry in The Wald, the fairytale dream marble.

✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?

When her dream marble was taken over by the villainous Ghun, her ownership transferred to him. He spent quite a bit of time tormenting her by telling her about the true nature of her reality and dropping hints that he would sell her to a fan.

🧊 - Is their current design the first one?

Her first design was Kotone lmao. Currently she wears elegant robes but my vision for her final design includes some modern clothes as she spends more time in the real world.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

It's hard to say. Dream Quest just kind of sprang into my head fully formed.

🌂 - What genre do they belong in?

Political fantasy, which is what Desert Reign was.

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

She is a cis girl and possibly bi.

🙌 - How many sibling does your OC have?

Only child, as far s she knows.

🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?

She only knew her mother, who taught her to play. They were very close, being foreigners brought to Kar Zippar from a distant land after the fall of their own kingdom. Ayane's mother taught her about her own culture and made her clothes for her, working as the royal seamstress until her death some years before the beginning of the story.

Let’s Celebrate Love: a Valentine’s Day Collab

As February not only marks as the month of love (with Valentine’s Day), but also, according to fanon, the birthday month for Jotaro, and as a personal milestone, it’s been a year since I created Anika (her birthday is in December, same as mine) and a year since I selfshipped with Jotaro, I decided to create this Valentine’s Day collab dedicated to only oc x canon shippers and selfshippers for fandoms. Here are the details:

A collab for self-shippers, self-insert x canon and oc x canon shippers, so feel free to be as self-indulgent as you want. <3

I also accept polyamorous relationships and love triangles if you wanted to include them ^_^

As it is a NSFW collab, all genres are allowed, INCLUDING dark content. That being said, minors, ageless blogs, blank blogs, b0ts, and pro-shippers, please DNI with this collab.

Fandoms: Mainly JJBA (since this is predominantly a JJBA OC and selfshipping blog), but I do extend this to all fandoms.

For this, it’s preferable to follow my main and/or nsfw blogs (@jotatetsuken & @musings-and-moans , i am on a mini hiatus there rn, but i may be active here) and if you're especially of the jjba fandom, it's preferable to also follow me on this blog (@/anikasenkujo) for oc x canon and selfshipping content. I’d also appreciate it if you don’t unfollow me after you’ve posted <3

You can club your entry for this collab with other collabs as well provided the other party agrees.

How many times can you enter? As many as you want, but, one oc x canon piece and one selfship piece for the fandoms you will be writing.

For example: I am allowed to only write once for Jotaro x Shyna (selfship) and for Jotaro x Anika (oc x canon), once for Nanami x Shyna (selfship) and once for Nanami x Akane (my JJK OC), etc

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

That he's constantly jumping back with his old crush for Akane when he is currently dating another adorable girl. I really like him and he's one of my fav characters but please move on, pig boy! You do know that Ranma and Akane have feelings for each other you have seen it first hand! We don't need a Kuno 2.0.

13. What's an emoji, an emoticon and/or any symbols that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot?

For me the emoji I think of is 🐖 because of his piglet form. But he would probably use 🤷 because he is so lost and have no idea where he is.

Also 😭 because he is a drama boi.

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what is your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something that you don't like?

I haven't written any fics, yet, for the Ranma 1/2 fandom. 😔 But I have always liked the idea with writing a hurt/comfort fic with him and Akari someday.

Hmm...I think it would have to be this line from The Successor, one of my Legend of Korra fics. It goes, "Her mother had carried rage like a tortured fault line, ready to rend the world apart at the slightest provocation. Her displeasure had made itself known in strings of curses folded into the washing and iron ladles flung at errant daughters and kitchen walls."

My favorite line in an SNS fic has to be "...and as they took off, Akane wondered if it would always be like this, if she would always get swept up in his chaos like a loose palm frond in the eye of a hurricane. She wondered if she'd ever learn to mind" from Portraits of 119.

I sincerely love and appreciate each and every comment I receive, but I'll share some excerpts of a few that I go back and re-read when I'm having a bad day.

🔮 Any advice for writers working through burnout or writer’s block?

I'm not the best at following this advice myself, but I think it can be helpful to do another creative activity inspired by the fic—like making a moodboard or a playlist or a sketch—without pressuring yourself to actually write the story. When I was working on Portraits of 119, moodboards helped me a lot.

Alasan Allah Memberimu Jalan Hidup yang Sulit

Pernah tidak, kamu berada di situasi yang betul-betul sulit dan sepertinya hari itu gelap dan tidak akan ada harapan lagi?

Mungkin kamu pernah mengalaminya beberapa kali, bahkan sering.

Kemudian kamu menanyakan kepada Tuhanmu, mengapa engkau diberikan cobaan yang sepertinya selalu berat dibandingkan teman-teman disekitaranmu. Mereka, sepertinya hidup aman-aman saja; mempunyai pekerjaan yang tetap, pendapatan yang cukup, dan bahagia menjalani hidupnya. Sedangkan dirimu, harus bekerja keras membanting tulang berangkat pagi pulang sore, berdesak-desakan dengan motor pekerja lain di jalan, hingga berhimpit-himpitan di gerbong KRL hanya untuk berangkat ke kantor. Belum lagi dengan tekanan atasan yang menuntut ini itu dan mempunyai pandangan yang berbeda.

Barangkali, hidup kita yang sulit ini memang telah disetting oleh Allah agar kita mempunyai pundak yang lebih kuat dibandingkan orang lain.

Seorang anak muda yang sedang merintis bisnis pasti akan lebih pusing daripada mereka yang bekerja dibawah kontrol orang lain. Mereka yang bekerja, setidaknya telah mempunyai job desk yang jelas, teratur dan terjadwal. Sedangkan mereka yang sedang merintis bisnis, jelas, mereka harus meraba segalanya dari potential partner, alur bekerja, surat menyurat dan lain sebagainya. Tapi, mereka yang sedang merintis bisnis pasti mempunyai self management yang lebih baik karena hasil dari tuntutan kerja yang dia buat sendiri. Mereka akan lebih mudah beradaptasi ketika masuk kedalam role yang berbeda; pandangannya luas, sikapnya tenang dan bisa mengambil peluang-peluang penting pada beberapa tahun kedepan.

Sama juga sperti kamu. Mungkin kamu sedang kepayahan mengatur keuanganmu yang selalu habis untuk bayar kos, makan dan keperluan lainnya. Tapi sadarlah, kamu hebat. Paling tidak kamu sudah berusaha untuk hidup sendiri tidak menyusahkan orang tuamu dirumah. Kamu sudah bisa mengatur cashflow mu walaupun masih ada beberapa pos yang bocor. Coba lihat, banyak diluar sana orang yang hanya tidur dirumahnya, malas mencari pekerjaan, dan malas juga beribadah. At least, kamu telah bekerja dan menghidupi dirimu sendiri, dan itu bernilai ibadah ✨✨.

Jangan pikir ibadah hanyalah shalat, puasa dan zakat. Kamu yang bekerja keras untuk dirimu sendiri juga sedang beribadah. Pahalamu mengalir setiap energi yang engkau curahkan dalam pekerjaanmu.

Itu baru soal ibadah. Tentang karakter yang terbentuk, kamu yang sedang berjuang menghidupi diri sendiri pasti mempunyai karakter yang lebih kuat daripada mereka yang hidupnya santai-santai. Mungkin iya kamu harus berpikir 2x dalam menghabiskan uangmu, kamu harus lebih berhati-hati. Tapi memang disitulah karaktermu akan terbangun, kamu akan menjadi lebih menghargai uang dan pekerjaan. Banyak orang diluar sana yang mempunyai penghasilan tinggi, tapi juga mempunyai hutang yang selangit.

Mungkin hidupmu yang sulit hari ini memang skenario Allah untuk membuatmu menjadi manusia yang lebih kuat dan menghargai oranglain.
