Reference for a new oc! They're name is Jester and they're a magician from hell, obsessed with becoming an angel. I took alot of inspiration from Akiya Kageichi anf their complicated textures, although I didn't push it as much as I wanted too. Pushing a limited color palette was hard too!

12, 21, 30?
12. Easiest part of body to draw
HM. probably necks and collarbones for me.
21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways
I love SUPER densely detailed linework styles were they manage to pack nearly every nook and cranny with some kind of geometric or organic pattern? Akiya Kageichi, Kay Nielson, and Hyde Nikolaev-Angelus are a few examples of what i'm thinking of.
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated
OH GOD good question,,,,,,
FRANKLY the shokarhyme piece i did for the bang last year. i'm still stupid proud of how that one came out.

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)
Definitely facing left... I try my best to vary it though >_>
4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw
For characters I think drawing any of the teetles can be kind of hard LOL. I think flowers+plants are fun to draw but they can be pretty difficult if there's lots of them and you put a lot of detail into it. You are CEO of drawing plants and flowers though you have it down to pat
10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw
Definitely suits, both lining and coloring/shading them is super fun and I love any excuse to draw them lol. Very fun shapes and folds
12. Easiest part of body to draw
Hmm I think torsos because nearly everything else I have a hard time with. I think they are really fun to draw especially considering curves and the way skin folds
21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways
Hmm hmm... At times like these I think I should make a list all all the artists/inspirations I like because I can't think of them off the top of my head. Akiya Kageichi, plastiboo, dddeerbo, lobster-lover, and SCROLLHERO_ (mutual💗) are some art styles I like that are pretty different from mine methinks...
26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended
Hmm I dont know...I dont think I do enough high concept art to warrant deep interpretations or anything as much as I would like to... But I guess I do get some strange reactions to some pieces sometimes. Some people said some weird shit on my human Donnie art from a while ago LOL

Inspo Akiya Kageichi
Another Japanese illustrator for inspiration:
I really like the flat line-focused illustration style combined with gradients and beautiful colours with a clear theme. The art style reminds me of Muscha and the flat solid colourings from Ukiyo-E Japanese art.
The way the subject matter is incredibly condensed but feels organised in a natural way is interesting and particularly relevant.
