YOUSE
Light novel readers, I got a question:
Is Elliot [Collins] this useless???
Savior of women my ass, your idea of comforting Bridget-- your fianceé --is by making her drunk
Savior of women my ass! You could've find a way of helping Keith, Cat, and Shall find proof that Sammy switched Anne's sugar and make him confess or whatever-- which is what they wanted you to do!!!
But you didn't.
Shall had to sacrifice himself so Bridget can get her mouth moving about Anne's sugar! And that's fine by you?!!
Your fianceé has more plot relevance than you! Ayo?? I know you're lazy but just telling Anne that Shall gave his wing to Bridget is not doing much! You could've been taken out of the scene and Anne would realised that!
"Oh my, this is not the place for a girl to sit. You'll ruin your dress."
Assuming this is in fantasy western Europe and planned obsolescence isn't a thing, fuck you, dude! That dress can handle a lot more than it looks! I'd like to see you travel in the wilderness and clean your own clothes yourself!
"I was a fool, I'm in no place to worry about you"
Keith, no, she's not okay. My guy turn around. She fell on her knees. SHE IS NOT OKAY

Sugar Apple Fairy Tale looks fun but I haven't gotten a chance to watch it myself yet. Could you tell me what you like about it or what your thoughts on it are? (spoilers are fine)
it is. A completely normal shoujou that does not involve slavery. It's about two idiots learning to be good company. Alf hingley. I cried a regular amount over the end of s1 and i expect season 2 will be the same whenever I gather the willpower and fortitude to watch it

GAH, not the "welcome back/i'm home" greeting 😭😭 I love how they all care for Anne: Valentine and Nadir both run up to her, Elliot sounds so relieved the way he breathes 'welcome back, both of you', and Orland's voice is so soft (a contrast to how hard it was when he first met Anne in episode 1).
The only way this could have been better is if they had hugged her and swept her off her feet.
Kat, bro, wtf. How are you the same person who once swallowed his pride to ask Hugh to forcefully retrieve Shall's wing back from Bridget, all for Anne's sake? Can't you at least show some relief??

There's so many things that made me laugh in this scene.
First of all: pretty much everything Shall says or does.
how he sounds so flat and bored when riling Cat up (whereas previously he was more... sarcastic? smug? when insulting Cat);
how he barely reacts to Cat grabbing him by the collar;
how he grabs Cat by the scruff like you would do an angry cat;
how he only lets go when Cat agrees (on conditions!) to help out 😂
Then there's Cat, absolutely indignant he lost his bet to Hugh and has to owe him a favor, who trusts Anne to be able to wrestle his favor from Hugh and transfer it to her, and, and who's really a big softie deep down
