Would anyone be interested in doing an aoas fan content swap/secret snowflakeesque thing this December? Basically the way I've done it in other fandoms is everyone responds to a form to sign up and includes favorite characters/scenes/lines. Then everyone gets shuffled and assigned a person to create a gift for based on the requests given (fanart, a fic, an edit, or anything creative!). Signups would probably open early december so we can share gifts from late december-early January throughout the holiday season!

I did this myself. I am a little envious of those walked to the same shore I crawled up. I destroyed the barrier between me and myself, lost my identity and decided I needed it again. I am the idea of something that sprouted legs and decided to go be what I am now. I made my goal.

I hate how guilty I feel about wanting things sometimes.

#like. the other day I finally got around to asking if I could paint my room a different color #which i said i would do by myself #and of course the answer was no #and then I felt awful because I cried a little afterwards #and what the hell am i doing crying over being told I can't paint my bedroom?#that just sounds incredibly spoiled of me #and today I again bit the bullet and asked about potentially getting another cat #because 1) i'm an animal lover and 2) my sister is moving out and taking her cat with #so my boy is going to be all alone for the first time in eight years #and I KNEW it was going to be a no #because i never get yeses #so now I'm just sad and disappointed. and I feel even worse because again that sounds really spoiled #and I really shouldn't because I never ask for anything #because I'm always expecting the answer to be a no anyway #i'm so used to being rejected that I don't even want to try anymore #or get my hopes up for anything #sorry to be personal on main i'm just having a weekend #alisha babbles

israel has launched an invasion and heavy bombing of rafah(a.k.a the "safe zone" 1.7 million Palestinians were forced into) after the UN approved a ceasefire resolution for the rest of ramadan... all 2 weeks of it. results were 14 votes for YESes. 0 NOs. and 1 didn't vote(take a guess who it was) the resolution called for an unconditional release of all hostages on both sides. so yes, mr "i am totally just doing this to get my hostages back whom i totally care about and totally didn't kill" Israel is launching harder attacks even after being promised all hostages release. just in case anyone was still questioning if Israel was using hostages as just an excuse for colonialism

russia tried to turn it into a permanent ceasefire but the US vetoed it. i guess vetoing a ceasefire looks less bad when russia is the one proposing it
