Riley and I met years ago, when we were both starving upcoming wrestlers on the indies.

I remember the day we met perfectly. I sat backstage on Defiant’s first ever episode of Loaded, talking to Walter, one of my best friends and trainer, when he arrived. Loud and obnoxious, the first thing he said to me was “Wanna be my baby momma?”

Of course it left me fuming, leaving poor Walter with the job of calming me down. The highlight of that night was seeing him getting his ass handed to him by Ridgeway and Walter.

God, how I loathed him.

Our paths crossed several times after that, all over the world. He apologised to me on our second encounter, mentioning how he gets weird around new people, how he loses his filter when he’s nervous, and how he was not so happy about getting chopped by Walter. We shook it off and started anew.

Turns out he was the coolest guy ever. Funny, quick witted and yeah, still very much annoying, but also very respectful and did everything to make me feel comfortable. Our friendship grew, we would share hotel rooms and ride together if we got booked on the same promotions, share meals and even train.

ELP asked me out after his deathmatch with Schadenfreude against Team Fight Club PRO. It was a sight I would never forget: a beaten, blood soaked and with thumbtacks stuck everywhere Riley stood before me, right after the gorilla’s entrance, with a dead look on his eyes and said “Do you wanna go on a date with me?” to which I could only nod, and got a “not today though. Today I’m a little… meh.” back.

He was so out of it that I had to grab him from his dressing room so we could head back to the hotel. The drive was made in silence, except from the occasional wince from him and a mumbled “I’m sorry” from me.

We ordered room service and shared a bed that night (since the hotel booked it wrongly), he said he meant the “date thing” as he hugged me while we watched some old rerun of Geordie Shore.

To me, that was our first date. He refuses to accept it, and says it happened a few days later, when he took me out for a picnic and a ride on the London Eye. Either way, both days were incredible in their own way.

See, everyday with him is incredible. Riley is attentive, we communicate well and he’s, surprisingly, an empath. We never fight, and when something bothers us, we sit down and talk it out.

So when I told him that I got an NXT contract, it was a week full of celebrations.

I was terrified of how it would go, with the fact that we would barely see each other and how we would handle it.

He reassured me daily that things would stay the same, that we had the means to talk daily and that we would visit each other whenever we had the time.

And it did stay the same. We had daily FaceTime calls, sometimes more than one, he would come over when he was in the US, I went to Canada when I had some free time and so on. Things got a little harder after he got in on the Bullet Club, the time zone was a little tricky, but nothing that bothered us.

Both of our careers have been going amazing. ELP is now a junior tag team champion, I’m in a storyline with LA Knight where I’m his manager, and I still get to wrestle (I’m the #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship, by the way!).

LA is the best co-worker I could ask for. He’s an incredible wrestler and an even better talker, which makes my job so much easier. Our on screen relationship is rather… ambiguous, we like to play around, leaving it open to the public to decide if it’s strictly business or if there’s something more.

Of course, it is all a play, as the both of us are in loving relationships.

As of right now, I’m on an early flight back to Canada. Last night I got involved in LA’s match against Thatcher, which earned me a sprained wrist and a broken nose for him. Hunter took pity on us, and knowing our work ethic, he gave us a week off, just to let us cool down. And since Riley just got home from Japan, I decided to surprise him.

I knock on his door with his favourite Tim Horton’s order in hand.

Riley opens it and says “Hey.”

Hey. Just hey. He usually tackles me down and takes me straight to the bedroom.

“Surprise?”

He looks at me like he has never had before, with what feels like disappointment in his eyes, and when I tried to kiss him, he turned away and sighed. My lips landed on his cheek.

“Riley, what’s going on?” I asked, worried.

“Nothing.”

“Nothing? Riley, there’s definitely something going on for you to act all weird with me. Talk to me. Please.”

He sighed again, looking down to his feet. The hold he had on the back of his living room chair was so hard, it turned his knuckles white.

“What is going on between you and Knight?”

My first reaction was to laugh. His face got darker and darker as I laughed.

“Are you serious?” The look he gave me said he was dead serious.

“There is nothing going on between LA and I–“

“I don’t know, you two look so cozy together.” he cut me off. I could feel the sarcasm dripping off his voice.

I should have known something was going on in his mind. Ever since the storyline started, Riley had gotten a little off. He never asked about how work was going anymore, and when I started talking about it, he would change the subject completely.

“I am doing my JOB, P. What the fuck?!”

“You sure look very happy doing it.”

“I don’t know what you are trying to insinuate, but I have nothing with him.”

It was his turn to laugh. He ran his hands on his head, making his unruly hair even messier. I cut him off when he started talking again.

“Do you think I like seeing you with Pieter on your lap all the time? No! But I know that’s your job and I trust you and I trust her! I know you and the guys go out all the time in Japan, should I throw a fit every time? Should I be suspicious of anything?”

”Baby, I’m–“ he tried to hold my hand and I stepped away.

“Do you think that if I had anything with him, I would have hopped on the first flight here to be with you? You know what? This was a mistake, I’m leaving.” I sat the Tim Hortons’ bag on his coffee table and grabbed my suitcase. “It’s your favourite, hope you have a nice breakfast.”

I called an Uber and went straight to the nearest hotel. I spent the whole ride trying to hold my tears, finally letting them fall when I got to my room.

I can’t even begin to understand what happened. We have never fought, Riley was always so understanding, what has gotten to him?

I fell asleep crying.

A few hours later, I woke up with a heavy thud on my bedroom door, and the faint sound of someone singing

“Soy un perdedor, I'm a loser, baby, so why don't you kill me?”. I knew that voice anywhere. We would sing that song to each other whenever we fucked up.

When I opened the door, P sat by it on the floor, with a bouquet of all of my favourite flowers.

“I’m so sorry, babe.” he said, looking up at me.

“How did you know I was here?”

“Tama.”

“Of course.” Tama had called me when I was still inside the Uber. He started talking about a bunch of things at the same time, his way of persuading people into spilling things out. “Get inside.” I told Riley as I left the door opened and went further into the room.

I could hear him quickly getting up and closing the door. He hugged me from behind, making me stop in the middle of the corridor. Holding me tightly, he kissed my head and went down to my neck and shoulder, repeatedly whispering “I’m sorry” between kisses.

We stood like that for a couple of minutes, silence eventually falling between us.

I grabbed the hand that held my waist and turned him around.

“Next time, we talk about it like we always did.”

“Okay, yes… yes. Again, I’m sorry. I don’t know what went on in my head.”

“It’s fine, just don’t question my loyalty and my love for you again.

“I won’t, I love you.” he hugged me again, this time resting his forehead on mine.

“Love you too.”

“Sooo, this is a really nice bedroom, huh?” he said, looking around. “The bed looks really comfortable.”

“It really is. Wanna try it?”

“God yes.” he said, grabbing me by my waist and leading me to the bed.

How Some MHA Boys Would Play MC with Their S/O

A/N: HEY GUYS! I was gonna post something like 2 days ago, but lost motivation, and now its in the drafts!! Still no motivation to write it, but I want to write this one since I’ve been playing w some friends recently hehe

Parings: Bakugou, Shouto, Hawks, Kaminari, Tamaki x Reader

Warnings: Cursing and fluff (literally all my warnings ugh)

Does NOT want to play with you at first

After you tell him that not even you can beat the Ender Dragon, he takes this as a challenge, and immediately downloads the game

When you first start the game, he is one to strategize on how to actually become good. Like he searches up what to do sometimes just to make sure he can be the strongest (he doesn't tell you though, to you, this all came from his own brain)

He literally never dies, like what the fu ck

When it comes time to build houses and bases, he builds super far away from you

Doesn’t share any of his materials either

“Suki, can I have some sugarcane? Pretty please?” 

“Go find some yourself dumbass” 

“But you have a ton of it!?! Can’t I just have a little?”

“No.” with ZERO hesitation 

When you aren’t online he’ll put some in your chest cause he feels a little bad for saying no

He actually finds and beats the Ender Dragon quite quickly, but what else do you expect from Bakugou? The most competitive person probably on  this earth?

After he beats the game, he probably won’t play it again

Agrees to play with you just because you seem so excited about it, and he is a WEAK man when it comes to your happiness 

Follows you around like a little puppy until you die in a cave and he has no idea what to do, cause you’re back in spawn, and he’s now alone

He offers to go back to you, but when you tell him to keep going, he has the BEST luck with finding diamonds

(Ok I’m gonna say it, but Torodoki is probably a SIMP for people that teach him how to deal with special emotions, so he’s mega simp for you uwu)

When he comes out of the cave, he offers to give you ALL of his findings, but you refuse to take all of it since he found all the diamonds n all that good stuff

He still gives it to you anyway, cause he’s not really playing this game for himself

He’s actually really good fighting wise, so when you’re building y'alls base, he’s on night watch for the bad guys

You guys live together of course (beds next to each other OhMyGosh) 

Probably tames a cat with heterochromia 

“Sho, its like you! Let’s tame it!!!” 

He tames it first try and names it “Todoroki #2”

Ender Dragon takes a while to beat, but you beat it nonetheless!!!!

He really only plays when you play, cause that’s the only reason why he plays lol

He already knows what it is, and he agrees when you ask him to play it, because he takes this as an opportunity to bully you (ofc all in good heart)

He doesn’t tell you he knows what it is though, so he tricks you into “teaching him how to play” just to waste your time

Once he gets tired of that act, he just starts to play it as a pro and you are just ?????

Hes super good at mining and building

Always comes out of caves with diamonds, and not just 1 or 2, but like 6 or 8

His base is SO COOL, boy oh boy, does this man know how to build

Ofc he has a pet parrot, and he names it “Parrots”

Bad thing is that he knows how to use red stone, so when you’re not online the only thing he does it set traps up all around your house

He feels bad that sometimes they actually do end up killing you, so he always lends you diamonds and whatever materials you need

He’s already beat the Ender Dragon, so he knows all the tricks on how to beat it (I’m like 90% convinced that he’s played it during his high school years) 

He’s on and off of the game, constantly starting new worlds since he finishes his others

He was the one to ask you to play with him

This boy wants to do everything with you, from mining, to farming, to building

When the two of you go mining, he’s the type to dig the gravel on top of him, and die cause he couldn't get out, which makes you need to stop whatever you’re doing to get his stuff

Makes you wait for him while he goes back down to the cave and then you guys can keep playing together

You both only have 1 base, and 1 house, because he doesn’t want to risk dying you dying from mobs

Both of you share your materials with each other, since you both go mining together it only feels natural to share 1 big storage area

“Kami why do we have 3 enchantment tables? We only needed one??”

“I made an oopsie earlier, now we only have 8, my bad!”

Pain.

The Ender Dragon is a CHALLENGE!! You both are pretty okay players, so beating it takes a lot of time

When you finally beat it, Kami probably puts the head on top of y’alls house, just to show how epic it is

He plays without you sometimes, but when you play without him he gets sad :(( (hypocrite much??)

He hesitantly accepts your invitation, but its only because he’s new at the game, and he doesn’t want you to see him be bad at it

He would probably play a lot when you aren’t online, then excitedly show you all the new materials he got while mining when you come back online

Swears he’ll protect you from any mobs that try to come your way while you build your shared base cause he’s not all that good at building

He doesn’t want to live alone, because he just likes sharing things with you

The more you two play the game together, the more bold he becomes with his skills

Turns out to be insanely good at mining and fighting so when you two go to caves together, he always seems to come out with more than you probably ever will

Tamaki is very good at thinking, that’s like his main thing, so everything he does went through a thorough thought process, which explains why he’s just so great

“Tama, I feel like you’ve played this game before.. there’s just no way you’re better than me when I’ve been playing it for years”

“Bun, what could I do to make you believe me?”

After a long debate, you settle on him giving you a diamond chest plate

The Ender Dragon is a HASSLE. Tama never actually ends up beating it, he just goes for moral support

He also is on and off with the game, only picking it up once every 3 months or so, but when he plays, HE PLAYS.

Another A/N: I hope u guys enjoyed it, I was so close to writing for 4 days in a row, but then my brain said “no <3″ and I lost all the motivation for 2 whole days!!!!! I’m back now, lets see how far I can go!!! Also might turn on requests, but I’d probably get like 2 LMAO

Summary: You and Tama go shopping for the pup and a little incident occurs.

🐙-You were five months along and it was long overdue to start buying stuff for the pup. You had cleared out a room for the pup. What you really meant was Tamaki sat you down in a comfy chair in the corner the room and you supervised as he hauled everything out.

🐙-At first, he didn’t want you to be in the room at all. You had used your Omega eyes on him and said that you and the pup wanted to be near their Alpha/father. He was done for.

🐙-Once the room was cleared you had taken to vacuuming and dusting everything. You could call it nesting since you did actually make a nest in there at one point. Tama had come home to a quiet house and his Omega nowhere to be found.

🐙-Once he had sent out a concerned chirp and your answering one was heard from the pups room he understood. Walking into the room to see you curled up under blankets and pillows with your bump peeking out was such an adorable sight he nearly fainted.

🐙-He might have taken a few pictures for his desk at his hero agency.

🐙-So after you hit your five-month mark and nothing but your nest was still in the pups room you voiced your want to go shopping for the pups room. Tama was all too ready to take a day off and help you pick stuff out.

🐙-He was so excited about the pup that he didn’t even care that shopping for the pup meant big crowds and loud noises. His one mission was to buy furniture for the pup and see your bright smile while doing so.

🐙-So he would brave the loud crowds just to make sure you were happy and safe. No pregnant Omega of his was going out alone. He had been lucky that you seemed to get needy for his presence and didn’t like leaving his side since carrying the pup.

🐙-The few times you did go out on your own poor Tama was a ball of anxiety and concern. He knew you needed some alone time every now and then but the thought of you alone in public while pregnant sent his poor Alpha into protective overdrive.

🐙-He wasn’t a growly Alpha but the pup had changed him. Any small threat will cause him to send one out as a stern warning. No one was gonna hurt his mate on his watch.

🐙-So when you asked him about going to the mall to shop for the pup he was eager to tag along with you. Your first stop was at the pretzel place on the way to the pup shop.

🐙-Your Alpha was diligent when it came to keeping you fed and content. You got a big salty pretzel and a sweet red slushy to wash it down. When you voiced your concern that he didn’t get anything Tama reassured you that he was waiting to eat at your favorite Italian place after you had finished shopping.

🐙-Usually, you and Tama would go to your favorite sushi place after shopping but since you are not allowed to eat sushi while with the pup it didn’t feel right for him to eat seafood in your presence. Even if it was for his quirk.

🐙-“Tama look at these cute blankets! They have cute little octopuses on them!” You quickly shoved them in his face. “The pup would look so cute wrapped up in them! A reminder of their strong daddy.”

🐙-Needless to say, a blushing Tamaki put it into the cart.

🐙-The next forty-five minutes were spent of you gushing over anything Suneater related and your poor bashful Alpha trailing on behind you. When it came to the furniture his Alpha really kicked in.

🐙-It was almost like he was a different person entirely to people who didn’t know him but to his Omega that knew his Alpha all too well, you just let him do his thing.

🐙-He spent quite a while testing out different cribs and changing tables making sure they were as sturdy as can be. Once he was sure he figured out which ones would be the safest he quickly wrote down the names to bring up to the checkout desk.

🐙-You had wandered off at that point after a few minutes of Tama banging and pressing down on a dresser. He went off to find you. He didn’t like you wandering off on your own but he could understand your enthusiasm to shop.

🐙-He walked upon you reaching up on your tippy-toes to reach for a comforter set that was placed on a higher shelf. Your fingers just barley reaching it enough to push it back further onto the shelf.

🐙-He would have quietly laughed at your antics if it wasn’t for another blanket set disturbed by your actions. A big bulky comforter set was tilting off the shelf and quickly heading towards his unsuspecting Omega head.

🐙-“Y/N look out!” His voice was loud and demanding.

🐙-You were spooked at your Alpha’s unusually loud tone. You were used to his soft-spoken voice. In your haste to look at your Alpha to determine what was causing him to shout you didn’t step away from the danger, he was warning you about.

🐙-Tamaki was quick to activate his quirk and catch the offending object with his tentacles. The angle he caught didn’t reveal if it had hit you or not. He was quick to toss it to the side and rushed towards you.

🐙-“Are you alright? Did it hit you? Is the pup okay.” He took your shoulders into his arms as his eyes flew over your form.

🐙-You were opening your mouth to reassure him that you were unharmed when he suddenly blanched.

🐙-“Oh my God, I wasn’t fast enough! It hit you and you bit your tongue because of it! You are bleeding everywhere!” He clasped his hands around your mouth and pressed you into his chest. He was quickly trying to remember where he saw the last restroom so he could take you there and examine your injury.

🐙-Before he could lift you up and dash you out of the shop you hit him on his chest trying to gain his attention. He was quick to pull you away from him and look you over again. Maybe he missed another injury.

🐙-“I’m not bleeding Tama. The blanket set didn’t hit me. I had a red slushy remember?” You tried to calm the shaken Alpha by letting out soft purrs and making sure your calm scent reached him.

🐙-He was slowly settling down from his panicked thoughts. He leaned down to scent you just to make sure you were really okay. One hand reached out to rest on your bump.

🐙-After a few minutes of making sure he was calmed enough, you pulled back. “I found a blanket set that had tiny octopuses on it. It would look so cute in the crib. Can you get it for me? I couldn’t reach it.”  

🐙-He softly sighed and reached up to get it. “Why don’t you go test out the rocking chairs while I get this.” He didn’t want you out of his sight again but he also didn’t want you near any more shelves either.

🐙-You happily agreed with him but not before you pointed out the blanket set had a matching mobile set just down the aisle. You waddled off towards the rocking chairs after giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.

🐙-He quickly put back the blanket set he threw aside and grabbed what you wanted. It seemed the pup’s nursery was going to take on a sea theme. He knew you were probably going to ask him to paint octopuses on the wall as well.

🐙-This time he wasn’t gonna let you weasel your way into the room. You could watch him from your nest assemble furniture but in no way were you gonna be in the room while he painted.  

🐙-He walked up behind you and put the things in the cart.

🐙-“Y/n are you ready to go ea... oh.” His voice softly trailed off.

🐙-You had fallen asleep testing a gliding chair out. Both hands rested softly on your belly. He walked over and sat down in the rocking chair next to you. He would let you rest.

🐙-He knew it must have been tiring for you today. You had been sleeping often and missed your afternoon nap to come shopping. So he let you nap away while he silently admired your sleeping frame.

Bonus:

🐙-“But I wanna make sure you paint them right!” You whined through the closed door.

🐙-“No. Go lay down in your nest. You have been standing way too much today.” His voice had a deep timber telling you that his Alpha was not going to budge. You whined softly but knew it was for the best.

🐙-“I think I left some takeout menus on the counter. Why don’t you pick something out to eat for dinner?” He encouraged. With a new goal of food in mind, you were quick to forget your earlier argument. Waddling to the kitchen with a bounce in your step.

I have a part of the story that I've made. So I'm going to post it. And if y'all like it well then I'll keep writing it! If not, I'll find a point to stop the story lol

In the story I do mention parts and characters of the anime and the manga. So please read at your own discretion.

TW: Some feelings of helplessness.

Then suddenly, another sinister feeling creeps up Tama’s spine. It makes her shiver to her core.

“What’s this?” Itadori’s face has another mouth.

Tama jumps back in fighting stance. Her instincts just made her move; no second thought. She even grabbed her shikomizue in that split second.

“This one’s got fire, Yuji.”

“Sukuna, you! I’m sorry! Please, I don’t mean any harm.”

“That is not normal.” Tama said as she pointed to Itadori’s face. Damn. I can’t control my heartbeat. It’s like my soul is trying to escape my body. My entire skin feels like its being pierced by needles. An extreme uneasiness that I cannot contain. I’m sweating profusely.

“Keep this one around. She gives me the same sense as Fushiguro. Ha. Ha. See you later, Natsumi.” And just like that, Sukuna’s presence disappears.

Tama can’t stand. Trying to catch her breath, she maintains a distance from the lot. Was that…? No, it can’t be…? That Sukuna?

“Nat..su..mi….?” Worrily, Itadori asks.

“I’m sorry…. Just… let me… catch my breath….” Panting as if she ran for her life. You could say her soul tried to.

“Who are you?” Gojo abruptly asks.

Tama, eyes filled with regret, looked at the blindfold as if she could see his eyes. She had many things running through her mind right now; the many times she was going to die, how she grew up, Matsuda-san, Ryoku… Natsu…. After catching her breath, she gets up and recollects herself before answering.

“I already introduced myself. I’m Har-“

“You have no curse energy. You yield weapons without curse energy. You sensed Sukuna before he appeared to you. So, who. are. you?” Gojo is not backing down, standing right in front of Tama.

Tch.

“Hmm…. How about you come with us?!” He flipped his switch. Serious -> Spontaneous. What even is this man?

“Oi, sensei. Bringing in another stray?” Fushiguro steps in.

“Are you jealous Megumi?”

Fushiguro’s face says it all. Not a damn he gives.

“Whatever. The principal will be the one to put up with you. Let’s go.”

“I’m not going.” Tama doesn’t want to be involved with anything that has to do with Gojo Satoru. Ryoku’s words remind her that anybody around Gojo will eventually get in serious trouble.

“Why not? Leaving someone behind?” Gojo asks as he puts his hands in his pockets.

“Uh, no. I need to pick up my pay for this job, so…”

“Oh! That’s what it is! We’ll go with you!”

“OI. SENSEI.”

“Megumiiiiii, so you are jealous.” Gojo pouts.

“As if. Just let her stop by when she’s done; of course, that’s only if she wants to come. Stop trying recruit.”

“I’ll... go. But just give me time.” Tama wasn’t sure if she should go with them. But maybe I can learn about myself if I have them around. “Oh, but wait. Sensei? Principal? You’re taking me to a school?”

“Riiiight.. I haven’t mentioned it. We are from Tokyo Jujutsu High! A high school for jujutsu sorcerers!”

“OI!”

“What Megumi? I think we can trust this kitty.”

Tama felt her stomach clench. Now, she’s not sure if she should go.

“How about sharing emails? So we can keep contact.”

“Uh... sure.... I suppose.”

“Okay then! I’ll be messaging you every day until you come! Bye-bye!”

And just like that, the lot of them left, and Tama did too. I’m killing that pervert, Yamamoto!

Thank you to those who read this small portion of a story that was supposed to be a one-shot! hahaha I'm losing my mind. I need more of JJK, or any other anime or manga to take up my mind. Gojo is currently in it. 🥴 But anyway! I guess if this reaches more than 100 notes I'll feel more confident to make it a better, longer story for you all to enjoy.

At first I wanted to create something that would just be gojo x reader but I also wanted a strong heroine that doesn't need Gojo. But I still want this to end up revolving around them. It's complicated. 😔 Wish me luck! Send good vibes! I hope you enjoy!

Bloodline Family Series

Roman sat in Haleigh’s bedroom scrolling through the comments on Haleigh’s live from a few hours earlier, waiting to get word. He had her go live from her room at Milo's house in California before going out. She was there with Carlito while Ardian filmed. Kandice and the triplets were in Georgia with Apryl, Simba, Trinity and the twins. This was the perfect time to handle his business.

During her live Haleigh mentioned that she was house sitting for her parents alone and how bored she was as he told her to do. Roman knew hearing that would draw Todd to the house for her, it's what he was counting on.

A guy Roman grew up with was a police officer and was able to get Todd's information and whereabouts for him. Having that Roman asked Joe to follow Todd to make sure he would take the bait. Tama hid in the brush on the side of the house to send the signal that Todd had arrived. Jey and Jimmy were waiting in the kitchen.

The plan was for Todd to get inside the dark house, knowing he'd follow the only noise in the house to Haleigh’s bedroom and go from there. It was late night and Todd clearly felt more comfortable at this time a night.

Roman’s phone buzzed, Joe's name showed on the illuminated screen.

"Yeah?"

"He's in your neighborhood. I'll circle around and wait at the front," Joe said with a sinister tone.

"Alright. By the time you pull around, we'll be out."

Roman and Joe disconnected the call. Just as he pulled the phone away from his ear, it lit up again with a text from Tama. A simple emoji. Locking his phone, Roman pushed it into the pocket of his black joggers then got under Haleigh’s comforter.

Todd cept through the house from the back sliding door. He'd saw Haleigh’s live and planned to surprise her. He also wanted to apologize for what he did. Assaulting her wasn't in his plans, she just messed up his plans by rejecting him. He now stood outside her door, straightening his shirt and checking his breath. But he was too preoccupied with himself and his thoughts that he didn't hear Jey and Jimmy follow behind him up the stairs.

Todd eased her door open, smiling when he saw, who he thought to be, Haleigh lying in the bed. When he pulled the covers back he jumped back startled, his hand on his chest as he stared at the large figure before him. The television only lit the large room so much, but Todd saw enough to know it wasn't Haleigh.

Then, there was light.

Todd looked up then down into the eyes of Roman.

Roman didn't say a word. His hands opened and closed at his sides as he stepped closer to the considerably smaller man.

"I..uh.. sir," Todd stuttered stepping backwards.

Roman brought his hands in front of him, cracking his knuckles, ignoring Todd's stuttering. He jumped at him making Todd turn to run away, only to run into the twins and fell on his ass. Todd stared at the three large men as they stood around him with fear in his eyes.

Jey snatched Todd up from the floor then Roman sent a punch to his temple, knocking him out cold. He slumped over in Jey's arms. The cousins laughed.

"Let's get his ass downstairs," Roman said picking up his legs.

Jimmy followed behind them cutting the television and lights off. "Should've rolled his ass down the stairs," Jimmy snickered when they got to the door.

Tama was standing on the porch waiting, Joe in the forest green SUV.

"Got his keys," Tama asked in a hushed tone.

Jimmy searched Todd's pockets for his keys then tossed them to Tama, who them jogged off the porch to Todds's mustang. After throwing him in the back, Jimmy, Jey and Roman climbed into the SUV and Joe cruised out of the neighborhood not wanting screeching tires not wanting to disturb the sleeping neighborhood and bring unwanted attention.

Cold water splashed over Todd's face, making him sputter and gasp for air. He moved backwards on the cold, hard ground.

"What," he gasped trying to breathing, "What the hell is going on?"

"Oh not sir this time," Jimmy asked standing behind him

Todd started to feel the pain in his head and remembered Roman punching him. "What do you people want with me? I didn't do anything."

"You didn't do anything," Tama repeated loudly.

Looking around, Todd realized he was inside a large, concrete warehouse and knew this wouldn't be good.

"Okay, okay," he begged, "I did it but I didn't mean to. It wasn't my fault."

Jey squatted down to Todd's level, baring his gold fronts. "So you sayin' it's my nice fault? Cause if it's not your fault then it's gotta be hers."

"N-n-no. Its...its," he stuttered staring between the men.

Jey slapped him across his face before standing to his full height. "Spit that shit out!"

Joe and Roman stood back watching Tama and the twins antagonize the smaller man. They took turns beating him, tagging in and out, making jokes as usual. Roman was trying to calm down some but he couldn't. Seeing Todd made him angry, it made him murderous.

"I'm gonna step out for a second," Roman spoke loud enough for them all to hear him, "When I get back though, I want y'all to leave us for a few. It won't take long."

They all agreed. Joe stepped towards Todd with a slight smirk on his face.

Roman called the only person he knew could help him.

"Hey, handsome," she cooed sleepily into the phone making him crack a smile.

"What's up, beautiful," he asked leaning against the SUV.

"Nothin, pinned under your circus acts," she laughed softly.

"Better you than me. Y'all having fun?"

"Yeah. The kids loved the aquarium, we gotta go back before we come home or they'll have a fit."

Roman smiled hearing about his children and nephews. "Even Simba's mean ass?"

"Even him," she laughed, "When we were getting the twins and trips some stuff from the gift shop, he tried to sneak and buy Kennedie these cute little penguin couple stuffed animals and the matching snow globe."

"Really? Guess he's not as mean as we thought."

They laughed for a few seconds until it died down. Nothing but the trips' light snores could be heard.

"I'm doing the right thing. Right, Kandi?" He asked softly. "The way I feel is normal, isn't it?"

"She's your baby, Roman. I think any father would feel the way you do. This rage is normal. Can you live with it?"

"Yeah, Kandi. Fuck him, I just don't want Princess to be mad at me," he sighed finally getting his thought out.

Kandice knew that's what was bothering him. His kids and what they think of him mean everything to him.

"Haleigh knows how much you love her and how far that love will go. You just make sure you're as honest and transparent with her as she needs you to be. Okay?"

He nodded like she could see him. "Yeah, I got you."

"You must've heard your daddy," Kandice laughed, "You hear Melly, Ro? Calling for you. She staring at the phone smiling, eyes still closed. I'll put the phone to her ear."

"Go back to sleep, Babygirl. Daddy loves you, okay?"

Melody mumbled back making Kandice and Roman laugh. "She's sleep again. I love you, Ro. Call me when you get home."

Roman put his phone away then stepped back into the warehouse. Tama and the twins stood around watching Joe choke Todd out, they moved back when they heard him approaching. Joe dropped him from his hold. Jey let him know they would be outside when he was finished.

"As much as you say you love my daughter on her Instagram, on her Facebook, on her Twitter, you couldn't possibly love her as much as I do. When you came after her, you didn't think about her father. Her father that's willing to kill and be killed for her," Roman spoke standing over him. "You know what I've always taught her? I taught her that love doesn't hurt so she knows that what you did wasn't out of love. That was anger. But your anger is nothing compared to mine."

"I am so sorry, Mr. Reigns. I came to your house to apologize to her for what I did, sir."

"You came to apologize with condoms and two knives in your pockets? Cause that's one hell of a apology. There was rope, cuffs, and a camera in your car too," Roman chuckled. "You're that close to death and won't tell the truth. You're not a man, you're a coward. The coward I knew you were when I saw how battered you left my daughter."

"This was all a mistake," Todd cried. He stood on his knees, pleading with Roman.

"No!" Roman roared. "You fought my five foot, maybe 120 lb daughter like she was a man so you get your ass up and fight me! Get up!" Roman pulled the small man up to his feet and pushed his chest roughly.

Todd shook his head extending his hands in front of him. "Please, I don't wanna fight. Please don't do this."

Roman laughed again at him but there was nothing funny. "Please don't do this? That's the exact same thing my daughter said to you. I heard the 911 call, she screamed in pain for ten minutes begging you to stop. But did you?"

"N-n-no, sir."

"So fight me. You can fight her, you can fight me."

Todd attempted to tussle with the larger man hoping that would satisfy the large man but it didn't. Roman tossed him to the floor and knelt over him, delivering blow after blow to Todd's face. He blacked out. The only thing he could see was how Haleigh looked in the hospital bed, how she cried seeing the damage done to her face, the mirrors she'd broken, the nights she sat up in his arms crying terrified that Todd would come back.

"That's it, Uce. That's it. Back up," Jey whispered placing a hand on Roman’s shoulder. "Look at him. That's it."

Roman’s nostrils glared as he stared at each of his cousins then down at what used to be Todd. His face beaten in, barely recognizable. Roman’s breathing started to slow when he realized Todd was no longer breathing.

Joe put a strong hand on Roman’s other shoulder. "Come on, man. Let's go. Jey well take you home, we got this."

Roman took one last look at Todd before leaving the warehouse. He didn't feel guilty, he didn't feel any remorse. He felt vindicated, he felt free. He hoped Haleigh would feel the same way.

Spring 2018 Preview

I can’t believe a new season starts in a week already... heres the shows.

1. Comic Girls: KIRARA ANIME BOIS. Do I even need to say more than that? The girls look absolutely adorable, the animation looks on point, and although the director is a debutante he's being backed up by an impressive quartet of writers including Takahashi Natsuko, Yokote Michiko, Hanada Jukki and Machida Touko. Oh yeah, it's also got a bunch of hot channees in addition to the cute schoolgirls. You can't go wrong with this one.

2. Amanchu! ~Advance~: Satojun is back at it again with the silly hiragana subtitles for sequels. The masters of healing are back again for a sequel to what was one of my favorite shows of 2016. More Teko, more of that sexy Itou Shizuka-voiced teacher, and more relaxing feels. This is exactly what we need to fill the Yurucamp-shaped holes in our hearts.

3. Alice or Alice: There are a lot of things that make me excited about this show. Obviously the cast is one: Ayaneru plays the main character, and we got Natsunee and Oonishi in there too. The director is Kobayashi Kousuke, an alumnus of the Pretty Rhythm series who was very heavily involved in Pripara, which you may know is the best anime ever made. And then there's the aesthetic: everything from the character designs to the title logo make this look and feel like a harem anime from 15 or so years ago, which is absolutely my jam. Pretty hyped for this one.

4. Sword Art Online Alternative Gungale Online: One of the weirder things to happen over the past year-ish is that I've become an unabashed SAO fanboy. The shows are just good, y'all. So you can imagine how I feel about a new show set in the SAO universe written by the author of Kino no Tabi, a show I just put in my top five of the last year, and with characters by Kuroboshi Kouhaku (also of Kino) who is the utmost hotness right now. Hopefully this will be more than enough to tide us over while we wait for SAO3 to arrive.

5. Waka-Okami wa Shougakusei: This looks like a kids anime at first glance, and, well, it is. It's based on a series of popular children's books, but they've really gone all out with the production values based on the PVs (Madhouse producing) and it looks immensely charming. Some of the best anime are childrens' stories, so I'm quietly excited about this one.

6. Hinamatsuri: This is shaping up to be one of the weirder shows of the coming season, and it looks great. From the look of the PVs, feel. are going even more all-out than they usually do with the visuals, and it also looks genuinely funny. Plus it's got a cute loli. Should be good.

7. Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu Die Neue These: It's finally here. Obviously I've heard nothing but good things about the original series, but I'm never going to have the motivation to go back and watch something so old, long and difficult, so hopefully this new anime has got me covered. I'm sure there will be plenty of discourse about it; I just hope it's decent.

8. Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai: Somehow, we've still never gotten a sequel to the wonderful Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, but this show brings together the chief staff of that show for a new romantic comedy anime at Douga Koubou. With that pedigree (they even got the same guy who did the OP song for Nozaki) there's definitely reason to be optimistic about this one. Not to mention it's got cute gaijin girls and an imouto voiced by Inosuke.

9. PERSONA5 the Animation: I think I'm going to give up any ridiculous illusions I have of actually playing the game any time soon and just watch this. It's the only realistic way I'll get to see dat Kawakami-sensei and Takemi-sensei. You know I'm all about the channees right now, and man, does P5 have some good ass channees. The anime is actually being directed by Ishihama Masashi, the man who did Shinsekai Yori and literally hasn't done another TV anime since, so that's pretty exciting. Obviously, a lot Shinsekai Yori's success is because of the material adapted, but if you can make a masterpiece like that you've got to have some kind of talent.

10. Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii: CUTE CHANNEE ALERT WEEWOO WEEWOO WEEWOO. I'm all up ons this. Is there anything better than cute OLs? ...Man, things sure have changed around here. Also, that title is just mean when it's literally an anime about otaku having romances. SOME OF US OUT HERE ARE LONELY

11. Last Period -Owarinaki Rasen no Monogatari-: Has there been a good social game anime yet? I guess Schoolgirl Strikers was alright, in that I actually managed to finish that one, but most of these turn out to be bad. I hope Last Period can be the one to buck the trend and be truly good, because I love the silly light-fantasy tone that it looks like it's going for. Wisemen for best girls. There's tons of cute girls with great designs (the one thing you can always count on social games for) and it'd be a shame for them to go to waste like so many before them.

12. Hisone to Masotan: I got really excited when I saw this because it looked like a cute anime about fighter planes. Instead it looks like it's a cute anime about fighter... dragons. What a ripoff. I wanted the planes. My aviation-nerd pouting aside I'm sure it will still be adorable JSDF propaganda. I just really wanted the planes.

13. Golden Kamuy: It's some kind of weird serendipity that I'm studying the Ainu for school this semester and now we get an anime explicitly about the Ainu. Period anime are pretty cool (the Russo-Japanese War isn't a setting explored in much visual media at all), the premise sounds cool, and I really like the look of the Ainu girl. Plus, how often do we get Ainu culture actually presented in anime? Remains to be seen how well it's done, but it's pretty neat.

14. Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Aw yeah. If only Jug was around to see the horse girls. I have no reason to doubt that this will be great fun, especially since it has the financial backing of Cygames, who have more money than God. Just hopefully we don’t have to see any of the cute girls get put down after breaking a leg.

15. Lostorage conflated WIXOSS: Somehow the WIXOSS anime series is still going. selector is still one of my favorite shows in recent memory, but Lostorage was complete spaghetti compared to it, so there's nowhere to go from here but up, right? This new series promises to bring back the characters from selector, which gives me mixed feelings. I don't want them to just play off nostalgia for the old show, but I'm also kinda excited to see Yuzuki and Tama again. I guess we'll see what happens. Maybe a new director will shake things up for the better.

16. 3D Kanojo Real Girl: Man, who wants a 3D girlfriend? Can your real life girlfriend be considered 3D if you're living in a 2D world? This stuff always leaves me conflicted. I'm down for some Serizawa Yuu-voiced heroine, and the always-capable Akao Deko is writing the screen adaptation, so it might be good.

17. Mahou Shoujo Ore: Oh god. I'm pretty sure I saw clippings from the manga of this a while back. It's a mahou shoujo where the girls transform into buff dudes in magical girl outfits for some reason. It can't be a coincidence that the protagonist is named "Uno" and is voiced by Oohashi Ayaka. If this show is even half as amazing as Fantasista Doll it'll be a great success.

18. A.I.C.O. Incarnation: There are a few Netflix-funded series this season but most of them don't look especially interesting. This one looks alright, but it's using the stupid Netflix bulk release model so I guess I'm waiting until April to start it despite all the episodes being out already. It looks like it could be a cool science fiction show, and I like the Naruko Hanaharu character designs.

19. LOST SONG: So this is that Suzuki Konomi promotional vehicle... From the PV, it doesn't look great, but I am a big fan of Konomin's singing so I guess I'll have to check out at least an episode. I just doubt her ability to act as well as she can sing.

20. Caligula: Strangely, this show does not seem to be about the son of Germanicus and Agrippina the Elder who ruled as Roman emperor from 37 to 41. I actually have no idea what it's about. Something about idols. But some of the character designs look pretty good, especially that blonde channee, so it's a maybe from me.

21. High School DxD HERO: It's baaaack. The show I watched three seasons of for Ayaneru that gave me almost no Ayaneru is back to continue to refuse to give me Ayaneru, probably. But hey, I like channees now anyway, so I may as well keep watching out of tradition if nothing else. I just hope Gaspar is like, actually in it this time...

22. Omae wa Mada Gunma wo Shiranai: This is an anime to promote Gunma... I guess? It definitely doesn't look like your typical local promotion anime... Apparently Gunma is a totalitarian state in this world. The green-haired girl played by Ucchii looks pretty good so I'll check it out.

23. Akkun to Kanojo: SUPER tsundere love comedy? Even regular tsundere is good. Unfortunately it's the dude who is tsundere in this one which isn't the thing I want. But the girls still look pretty cute so I'll definitely be giving it a look.

24. Mahou Shoujo Site: Uh oh, it's dark magical girls. There's nothing wrong with the concept per se but works like this often end up being grimdark for grimdark's sake (see: Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku) so it makes me worried. This one looks like someone tried to mix Madoka and Jigoku Shoujo. It should be good for a laugh if nothing else.

25. Kiratto Puri Chan: Well, here we are. This is what they killed Pripara for. So who did they get to succeed the comedic savant Moriwaki Makoto? Well, it's a guy without a whole lot of directorial experience: Hiroshi Ikehata. What he has directed have been some incredibly charming shows, including the underrated Akiba's Trip anime and Sore ga Seiyuu. The main writing credit goes to Hyoudou Kazuho, who has worked with Hiroshi on all of his directorial projects but doesn't have any especially interesting work to his name. The biggest chance this has to be even marginally worthy as a successor to Pripara is if they continue to draw on the extended family of Pretty series creators, like Pripara did to a large extent. With Moriwaki's steady hand removed, I don't have high hopes, but if they killed Pripara for a show that's not even decent I am going to be upset.

26. Aikatsu Friends!: So Stars is ending and a new generation of Aikatsu is here as well. I can't let this pass unnoticed because Kido-chan is pegged to be one of the new Aikatsu leads and I'm always thirsty for new Kido-chan anime. I didn't really like Stars, so I hope this new one is more on the silly side, like joji anime really should be.

27. Cutie Honey Universe: Rember Cutie Honey? I mean, I don't, but a lot of people do. Apparently it's the 50th anniversary of Nagai Gou's venerable battle girl series, so they're doing a revival of it. I really dig the neo-retro art style going on here, and the cast is absolutely star-studded (our current darling, Kurosawa Tomoyo, is included among the likes of Hanazawa Kana, Tamura Yukari, Horie Yui and Kugimiya Rie) so I just might check it out.

28. Steins;Gate Zero: I really don't know if I want to watch this. Steins;Gate wasn't the worst of the semicolon anime; in fact, the first half of the series was greatly enjoyable, but I don't think I need to retread the infamous "shooting of the moeblob" that led to the godawful second half. It's got Christina, I guess. I just really don't know if I can subject myself to Okabe again.

29. Megalobox: This looks technically amazing, I just don't know if I'm interested in it. Will probably wait to hear other people's opinions before I check it out, if I ever do.

30. Gegege no Kitarou: I don't think I'll actually watch this, but the latest version of the classic children's anime has been getting some attention because the character designs for the female characters are, how you say, Extremely Good. They're definitely good enough that I'm tempted to check it out. Dat Nekomusume...

31. Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory: It really happened. I'm including this as the highest-profile show I definitely won't be watching. I haven't seen any of the other FMP anime, so it would be stupid to try and jump in here. The subtitle being abbreviated "IV" (for season 4) is very cute though.

Tsuda Minami is once again going to have to be hard gay, this time with five different girls apparently. I'm especially looking forward to the Mikakoshi-voiced blonde. Unfortunately, being a Creators in Pack anime, it's a short...

Fumikiri Jikan: This is a five minute anime but I absolutely love the premise: girls wait at a train crossing. That's it. You gotta love manga and anime sometimes.
