If you don't he'll do anything to distract you

Probably ends up dragging you out and buying you things you like, which makes you feel guilty for spending his money, but he insists cause he loves you, and you feel more guilty, and it's a continuous loop of cheesiness

It'll take a while to realize that you're not doing ok

It's not really his fault

But he'll go in full panic mode once he realizes

'What do I do? Should I hug them? Ask them what happened? Should I ask Dream? Or Sapnap? Ok, maybe not Sapnap-'

He'll start looking like that meme with all the equations around his face

You, of course, notice the weird behaviour of your boyfriend and come to the conclusion that he knows you're upset

You try to tell him that it's ok, that you just need some time to calm down and collect your thoughts

He does not listen and tries to cook for you

"Geroge, do you smell smoke?"

"Noo, what? What are you talking about?

"Wait are you in the kitchen?!"

You ended up ordering take out and cuddling while watching a random movie

At least it's the thought that counts

And he did get a few laughs out of you

You thought you could be sad near this man? HAH, you thought wrong!

As soon as he sees a glips of a frown he is jumping on you, literally

He will then proceed to give you the most innocent puppy dog eyes, like he didn't just jump on you, and ask

"Why are you sad darl?"

He'll caress you as he listens to you explain why you are upset

He'll even help you with your problems

He is also never letting you go. You are stuck in his arms until he is 100% sure you're ok

"Sap I have to go to the bathroom"

"No"

"What do you mean no? Sap I have to pee-"

"Don't care"

❝ Badboyhalo ❞

I don't know why I imagined this, but I did

If he sees you upset he'll caress your cheeks, play and pull them a little bit, as he asks you what's wrong

He'll continue to do it even when you're explaining what happened

You had to sometime stop talking since it's hard to say words when you're being squished

"Bwad- mwy cheeksh-"

"Shh, just keep on explaining"

Once you're done he'll shower your face in small kisses and tell you that everything is ok and that he is always there if you needed him

And then he'll order pizza for the both of you, because food makes everybody happy

He's prepared

He has a whole mental list of things to do whenever you get upset

First he'll sit you down, make you comfortable and ask what's wrong

He'll then comfort you and offer some advice if you wanted

Then he'll make you watch some funny videos that chat sent him for YLYL

Sometimes he'll sing to you. Maybe even an unreleased song of Lovejoy

He is not good with comforting...or emotions

But he did this once and it worked so now he always does it and it always seem to work

What he'll do is drag Steve in the house, sit him in front of you, hide behind him, and starts talking, acting like Steve is the one doing the talking, while moving the bear's arms around too

"Hallo! It me, Steve! Now tell me what's wrong"

"Techno, what are you doings?"

"Me not Techno, me Steve! Now talk"

"Bruh..."

"Ok, rude much you copycat"

The three of you always end up cuddling togheter by the fire place

❝ Eret ❞

I think they'd just talk to you, to calm you down

Have you heard them?!?

You could fall asleep just by the sound of their voice alone

Whenever you're upset they always approaches you with a warm smile and pull you into their arms

Just you two, in eachothers arms, as Eret rubs slow circles into your back and calmly reassures you

"It's ok honey, everything will be ok. I'm here with you every step of the way. I love you, you know that, right? So so much"

And they always give you kisses on your hands like the royalty they are

He's another one that panics for a bit

But he'll later pull himself togheter and come comfort you

He'll sit you on his lap, make you talk if you want, and if not he'll try to distract you

I can see him tickling you non stop just to see you smile

Dream SMP Recap (February/17/2021)

Foolish, Ponk and HBomb get involved in some “lore,” and Bad confronts Puffy about the omelette propaganda that’s been cropping up.

- Foolish speaks with Ponk and HBomb as he walks through the Nether. Ponk decides to do some lore about the Egg taking their kneecaps.

- Foolish is very *angsty* with everything going on. The rain is falling heavily on his trench coat. HBomb loves lore-ing on people.

- Foolish mentions he has no parents, as he lost them. HBomb laughs and then says that’s not funny at all. Laughter is a coping mechanism. Foolish is Bruce Wayne.

- HBomb points out that Foolish has a father. Foolish clarifies that he has an adoptive father but he’s lost his biological parent. Killing two parents with one stone -- a terrible metaphor.

- H asks if Foolish is looking for a mother. Foolish says to stay the fuck away.

- H and Ponk can be Foolish’s cool uncle and aunt. Foolish says they can come up with something better -- the Justice People. 

“Together we are Batman.”

- To be clear, Ponk says, this is now the main storyline since Tommy doesn’t stream as often. 

Ponk: “The rain makes me feel...home again.”

- Ponk and HBomb greet Foolish at the portal. 

HBomb: “Hello, son.”

Foolish: “I’m Batman.”

- They go to check out the Egg. The red reminds Foolish of the blood of his parents as they lie on the ground.

- The Egg goes “wooOOOOoooOoo” to Ponk. The Egg is speaking.

- HBomb is both of their mothers now.

- Badboyhalo joins the game. Oh no.

Bad: “How hard do you think it would be to kill all three of you?”

Foolish: “Not a chance.”

HBomb: “I don’t have a weapon or armor.”

Foolish: “I have leather!”

Ponk: “WE’RE BATMANNNN.”

- Ponk tells Bad he needs to hurry. The Egg is in peril and it’s leaking milk.

- Bad arrives at the Egg Room and sets Ponk on fire. Ponk finds the one hole in the ceiling where the rain can come through. It’s very poetic.

- Bad asks if Ponk would like to break a piece of the Egg.

- Ponk breaks a piece and it hurts him. 

- H is curious and breaks a piece himself. It hurts him too.

- They ask Bad about his lore voice.

Bad: (in Yoda impression) “Mmmm, canon is this?”

- Ponk asks Bad to tell the jukebox story.

- Bad sings the campfire song.

- Back on the surface, just outside Eret’s museum, Bad builds a makeshift campfire and tells the jukebox story.

- Foolish leaves to continue work on his summer home.

- Ranboo works on the vault.

- Puffy decides to create a L’manburg memorial at L’manhole. 

- Puffy and Bad discuss heights.

- Bad confronts Puffy about the Omelette Propaganda 

Bad: “Why would he [Danny DeVito] be anti-Egg?”

Puffy: “Because he has class and style, and an enchanted sword.”

- Puffy explains how taking any of them down would be a hate crime against Danny DeVito, lizards, polar bears named Steve, the sun, or chickens, but she definitely didn’t put them up.

- Bad points out that Puffy is IN some of them. Puffy insists that this sheep person is definitely not her, maybe a relative.

Bad: “Who is that?!”

Captain Puffy: “Smokin’ hot, don’t know her.”

- Puffy insists that it was a party of chickens with clipboards who went around putting up propaganda against eggs. (She didn’t tell them she eats chicken nuggets because that would’ve broken their hearts) They want to replace chicken eggs in people’s diets with Skeppy eggs.

- If Bad takes down these posters, he’ll offend everyone! The chickens, Technoblade, the Green Party, nutritionalists, all of them!

- Puffy says that one of the chickens, Mr. Cluckington, informed her that the chickens might have dropped something off at Bad’s house.

- Bad insists that the poster on his mansion has Puffy and Technoblade in it.

- Puffy draws a very accurate portrait of Rat in MS Paint. Bad loves it!

- Foolish boats over to them on the lawn and asks if they have 489 blue concrete. He then boats away.

- They do more art!

- Bad explains Big Daddy Island.

- Bad tells Puffy that Sapnap is his son canonically, and he found him under a rock somewhere. Puffy asks if that would make Karl his son-in-law.

Puffy: “The family tree is really sort of questionable here.”

- Puffy asks if that would mean Sapnap was an accident. Bad says he’s a “happy little accident, also known as Sapnap.”

- Puffy also asks if Bad’s son’s roommate is Dream. 

- They continue with the MS Paint art.

- Bad talks to Mr. Cluckington, a chick, as played by Puffy.

- Next a cousin drops by, Cluckers. Bad threatens his life, but Cluckers says he’ll get another cousin out.

- Feathers comes out to speak with Badboyhalo. Feathers is a big Badboyhalo fan and asks for Bad’s autograph, in a voice so high-pitched that it cuts out the Discord mic.

- Feathers asks if Bad has a Snapchat and goes on Omegle.

- Puffy comes back out and asks how it went.

Bad: “I think I’m done with chickens, Puffy...”

- Bad says he’ll go investigate who put up those posters.

- Puffy departs to continue work on the L’manburg memorial.

Alright so I’ve seen people want more female content creators, more POC content creators, more LGBT content creators within the Dream SMP and YES- I want that too- but... we should take a moment to hype up the content creators who already fit these categories!

Here is my list of the POC, LGBT, and women content creators who are regularly active on the Dream SMP and my personal takes on them and their content! So please give these content creators some love and more attention because they all deserve it so much!!!

Women Content Creators

+ Nihachu

- If you like sweet, adorable, more laid back streams than you’ll love Nihachu. Able to play around with both more playful funny moments and then be a great dramatic actor for deep lore moments as well.

+ Captain Puffy

- So wholesome and the only stable adult on the Dream SMP. She is SO funny- like her roasting Skeppy and Badboyhalo is the highlight of my day. A very fun energy and can also jump between lore and jokes like no one’s business. If you like Ranboo then I’m sure you’ll love her.

+ Hannah Rose

- I’ve only just started watching her but her streams so far have been so relaxed. She’s the perfect mixture of sweet as sugar but also sassy and able to hold her own. She gave Tommy a rose then jokingly roasted him over his constant demanding over it. Also her builds are so aesthetic and her stream set-up is gorgeous to look at.

LGBT Content Creators

+ Eret

- All of their streams are chill as fuck, literal vibes. He has the best music tastes ever and has public Spotify playlists if you ever want to hear more of her tastes. Very open about being LGBT and the chat for them is continually one of the nicest I have seen and very supportive to those coming out. Eret is a great streamer to watch when doing homework or classwork because you can watch him vibe without being too distracted unlike Tommy or Quackity’s streams.

+ Nihachu

- Please just... Nihachu in lore is so overlooked but you can clearly see the hell she’s gone through as a character and seeing her go from a starry eyed running mate of Fundy’s to a women determined to destroy Tommy and Dream for the pain they’ve caused her and her former nation... it’s so good. Also her and Jack Manifold have the best Team Rocket dynamic of all time.

+ Captain Puffy

- Captain Puffy in plot as a sweet older sister figure to all the disturbed minors is iconic and her therapy office is so cute. She is the mom friend to Awesamdude’s dad friend energy and she is equally as commited to taking down the egg so watching her continually try to avoid the Egg and help those she cares about is the best.

+ Antfrost

- Go check out Antfrost’s twitter first and formost because he and his boyfriend (Velvetiscake) pop off with every tweet. Secondly, Antfrost is generally a chaotic presence but in a much more lowkey way than most other SMP members. As a character his motivations are pretty hidden right now but him and Badboyhalo are a great villian duo. Antfrost also regularly streams Pummel Party stuff and Jackbox stuff with his other friends (and his boyfriend) which keep me in stitches. Stg if he and Velvet flirt like that on their Jackbox streams one more time I will lose it 😤 (/lh)

POC Content Creators

+ Skeppy

- He doesn’t stream often but every time he does he pops off. Also, not super involved in lore but whenever he joins he pops off. Him and Badboyhalo’s dynamic is iconic and just- so fucking funny! But also Skeppy does Youtube videos on his Youtube channel which are usually rather short but honestly so funny. He mainly trolls Badboyhalo or does like Minecraft challenge videos and as simple as that may seem he always makes me smile with his high energy and general chaotic nature while still being pretty family friendly and relaxed. Very good if you mainly watch Youtube or don’t have time for long VODs and streams.

+ Ponk

- I have only just found out about him but he is SO wonderful. His voice firstly is oddly soothing so that’s a plus but he streams frequently! And he usually streams at an earlier time than most other SMP people (aka not late at night like Quackity and shit) and he genuinely is so funny. He talks to his chat a bit more than the bigger streamers and goes between a casual, chill vibe and a specific kind of chaos that reminds me of like- when Ranboo is hyper. Please I can’t express how much I love Ponk please just watch his streams. Also Ponk in the Egg Plot makes me cry with laughter- mans is so picky “Can I have an iced mocha please?” like sir you are literally being trapped with an evil egg.

+ Quackity

- Quackity is an icon. Stream his song “Any Askers” on Soundcloud. Watch any of his Roblox, GTA, or Soap Opera streams. He shouts a lot and is high energy so he’s perfect if that’s your vibe. He sings like an autotuned angel, is so sweet about donations and gifted subs, and has amazing chemistry with everyone he streams with. Within the lore he is also an amazing actor with a really complex character and I am so glad he is getting his time to shine with his capitalist arc. Though he does tend to stream later at night.

Things I Like About Minecraft Streamers:

Tommy: His streams are perfect when I need a laugh or when I’m having trouble focusing. There’s so many factors that make his streams really capturing, there’s always high energy, he’s always able to keep talking, and his voice is loud. His thoughts are his words and as confusing as that seems to a lot of people, my adhd brain thrives on keeping up with him. The way he’s able to switch up topics or the random stuff he shouts keeps my attention and leaves me on my toes. His streams are perfect for when I dissociate, when my brain seeks stimulation. Even when my attention inevitably drifts, next thing I know he’s shouting something odd and I’m tuning back in to the stream. His ability to guide conversations or switch things up with a drop of a hat is really admirable and it makes it so his streams are never boring. He is one of the few streamers that I can watch without doing anything else.

Quackity: His streams are just the funniest straight up. When I feel super down I really tune into his streams. The donos are also perfect, they’re the funniest shit. The way he interacts and brings out the best in everyone he streams with is perfect. He also has the best bits, Mexican dream, every time he uses auto tune, all the songs he makes, how he’ll get under people’s skin, and more. He’s also just super consistent which I really enjoy. Whenever he joins a call with people he’s the same person no matter who he talks to. For instance when he met Ninja or Dirsta for the first time? He didn’t waste any time in hopping right in and being his persona. Even when he’s not with others he’s funny and his streams are great. (His YouTube videos are also hilarious I recommend) His streams are chaotic and high energy like Tommy, but they’re a different flavor of it. Two different vibes. Lastly, he’s a really nice dude. When he’s not being ‘Quackity’ he’s super sweet and gently spoken, much more mellow. You can see it usually at the end of streams where he spends minutes thanking everybody. Like my mans we get it, you provide us so much don’t act like you’re in debt to your viewers. Nonetheless, it’s super sweet and wholesome. Total whiplash the first time I watched a stream and at the end he did this.

George: His streams are a wild card, you never know what kind of stream you’ll get. His solo streams tend to be pretty chill, not high energy but also not boring. They’re the streams I usually put on while I do something. It’s kind of like being on call with a buddy while you both do your own thing. They’re also just great when I’m feeling lonely and wanna chill while having someone in the background. In contrast, his streams with others tend to be more high energy and chaotic. Think of all the streams where they pop off, or go feral. These streams are really fun, and tend to be some of my favorites. A lot of people gravitate towards George, so they tend to mess around a lot and annoy each other. Really makes me a little jealous of people who have multiple friends they spend time with. 

Karl: My mannnnnnnnnnnn. I have a major soft spot for Karl but simpage aside, he is the perfect middle streamer. By that I mean his streams are so versatile. They’re not super chaotic (while some can be), but they’re not exactly low energy either. Karl tends to have bursts of energy, and then times where he’s focused and more calm. He plays off people really well, and he’s got so many friends which means he streams with a lot of different people. I would also like to mention his new Tales of the Dream smp series, as it’s become one of my favorites. He’s found just the right amount of lore and put it in an interesting story, but also made it so stress free. They’re like little episodes of a show where you don’t have to worry about watching every single one or catching up. You can watch them out of order or skip a whole stream. It’s such a comfort and relief when the Dream smp main story has been going quite fast and is hard to keep up with. And again his ability to interact with everyone, and his versatile streams, make him the perfect person to make these streams. 

Eret: The best way I can describe Eret is ultra chill with a dash of chaos. I just started watching their streams, but they have quickly become one of my favorites. Because my favorite streamers tend to be super high energy (tommy, quackity) since I need them to keep my attention, I really didn’t expect to like Eret’s streams. Which is nothing against them, my adhd just makes it hard for me to tune into things. Except they have quickly become one of my favorite streamers. They’re there on the lonely nights when things are too much. When I need to drown out the world I watch their streams, because they’re such a comfort. Their voice is low and relaxing, the music that plays in the background of the streams in impeccable. When I am overstimulated, struggling to sleep, panicking, I watch their streams and I feel that everything will be okay. Also the community they have built is very nice. After a long day when I am exhausted, their streams are perfect to listen to as I get ready to sleep. I think with how lovely their personality is and just the nature of their streams, they have become one of my comfort streamers. 

Dream: So honestly, I’ve only watched one of his streams live I think? The latest one. Otherwise I have only been able to watch vods since when I joined the fandom he wasn’t really streaming anymore. I would like to say his streams are always a gift. I think he could be one of my comfort streamers. What I love about his streams are just how funny and chill they can be. Whenever it’s just the dream team vibing it feels like they’re just friends in a group call (which I guess they are?). It is a loneliness nuke man, I feel like I am just in a vc with friends. We’re all doing our own thing, and I just feel this sense of connection (not to them specifically) but rather just the warm and nostalgic feeling of being with friends. It really makes me want to go out and make more friends/get the guts to spend long times on vc with friends.
