Umm so basically Dark Nebula is now the Nebula Organization

Their mission is to protect the forbidden bey, Lightning Pegasus, and prevent it from getting in the wrong hands

Unfortunately Hagane Ryusei, who now has Doji’s role, has other plans <3

He and Ginga steals the bey

Doji, who allegedly dies in this event, tells Ryuga he needs defeat Ginga and get it back

Ryuga is more pissed that the guy he lost to shit talked him than the fact that his GUARDIAN is DYING

So he’s like “You don’t even need to tell me!!”

And Doji is like ugh of course. And he launches Storm L-Drago to him before dying

And so his adventure begins!!

Before metal fusion, he didn’t really understand the point of having close allies(he means friends but he refuses to use that word) and didn’t bother to make any

And so over the course of the fusion and masters he learns to open up more and let people into his life

I like to think that after the defeat of Ginga, everyones celebrating and hes like damn.. This is nice. And he has a sincere little smile

And then Kyoya and Madoka are like “OH MY GOD???? HE’S FUCKING SMILING???? GUYS ARE WE SURE THE DARK POWER IS GONE….. ARE WE SURE IT DIDN’T SOMEHOW TRANSFER TO HIM??!@$@#$&@^#*&@!#@^??”

OK. SO. You know how Dazai is Not having a good time rn.... like bro is seeing the pearly gates. And Chuuya (who is not in control of his own body) is on his way to kill him via Fyodor's orders.

NOW, many people, including myself... ARE SO EXCITED FOR THIS SKK REUNION!!! like... so many monumental things abouta possibly happen. SUCH AS (list off the top of my head): 1. Chuuya bite Dazai vampire style and that nullifies the curse. Aha. i can imagine the edits now. (and to see that animated at some point.. ough) 2. Skk beats up Fyodor double black style ;) 3. Skk bantering that we have missed so so so much 4. Chuuya potentially faking being vampire, lifting his hat up, and looking at Dazai... "You missed me?" OR "You look like shit. Almost makes me forgive you for that stunt you pulled with the water." 5. Dazai being carried princess style by Chuuya ahhahahtg73849ewk 6. Now, what me personally wanna see.... Now, I don't think Dazai is going to die. But. It a possibility that we cannot ignore.... and I've got some angst that it can cause. Like. Agh. This is the reason I'm making this post; I want to shock others with fear. Fear that I don't want to suffer through alone. NOW, MY ANGSTY LIST FOR HOW THIS SKK INTERACTION MIGHT PLAY OUT:

Fyodor calls back vampire Chuuya (Sigma situation) and he doesn't make it to Dazai in time and Dazai dies Alone. (I don't think this is going to happen at like. All. But it could! Maybe!)

Turns out Chuuya is faking being vampire, but he gets to Dazai and it's too late to do anything (poison kicks in, bro bleeds out, etc.) He dies in his arms! ^^

Chuuya is forced to activate corruption, Dazai can't save him because BROKEN LEGS and both Chuuya and Dazai die (i will stop reading bsd.

Chuuya kills Dazai as a vampire, the curse isn't nullified (FYODOR is the one who sent Chuuya there afterall) and this is when we get Really Angsty: (1) It's obvious that Chuuya and Dazai care for each other on some level, even if you don't ship them. Chuuya would be killing somebody that he cares about, and he would probably blame himself for it. Dazai is somebody that he has known for SEVEN YEARS!! That shit would HURT!! The sheep, flags, all of his subordinates that have died on the field, now Dazai. (2) NOW as for DAZAI!! If I remember correctly, Dazai says something along the lines of "Everything I want I lose" or something like that, right?? Now. Imagine this. Dazai, someone who craves death and constantly tries to commit suicide, dies. OK so what?? No. I think that Dazai very much wants to try and stay alive, it's hinted at multiple times (15 novel, his character song, a much happier life with the ADA in contrast to the mafia, etc.). Let's circle back to what I said earlier, "Everything I want I lose." Dazai goes full circle from wanting to die -> wanting to live -> dying. It hurts and it would prove what Dazai thinks/thought is right!! Everything he wants, he can't have! (Also, cherry on top. He hates pain!! He would be dying a very, very painful death. He even says that he is in a lot of pain in the chapter) OK, ONE AGAIN I DONT THINK CHUUYA OR DAZAI IS DYING!!! im sorry. lets.. focus on the positives!!! Sskk reunion yayyy! (it's also really painful to think about them)

Hades is an indie roguelite game released a couple years ago! and literally I cannot find a single bad thing to say about this game im being serious rn. The storyline? Fucks. The music? Fucks. The art? Fucks. The characters? I need to fuck everyone so bad. The gameplay? I've never been more addicted to dying. and this game is fully voice acted like WHAT?????

In the game you play as Zagreus, son of Hades, and youre trying to escape from your house because you hate your dad and also to find your mom. but theres also tons of other characters with their own sub-plotlines AND there's a dating mechanic. there's honestly so much goddang content and the writing + voice-acting is totally solid!!

i'm not much of a Gamer™ myself and im usually pretty shit (or mediocre at BEST) in action-heavy games, but even i found hades to be super enjoyable :oo it did took some getting used to in the beginning, but after getting the hang of it and because of the game's natural progression it does get significantly easier. I think the game is really well-balanced, and no matter what weapon or boon you use its still really fun.

if i remember correctly back when the trailer dropped it caused quite a stir on twitter/tumblr because it looked so good. And guess what!! they're making HADES 2 BABEY!!! but that comes out in early access next year i think.

alright so this kinda sits on the edge of hilarious and realistic but i have something different in mind for that one so: there is LITERALLY NO WAY they don’t have a group chat. they are Teens in a modern setting, like especially now that everyone’s back in continuity and reunited and everything. they HAVE a group chat. and god i can only imagine the chaos. bart can type so fast, so if he had an idea he was trying to communicate he would just be crazily spamming the chat. tim sending really weird cryptid-spotted style photos taken around gotham while on patrol. cassie going OFF on rants (also cassie like lowkey canonically likes kpop she makes Diana go to a kpop concert with her in WW:Agent of Peace #13 sfdhgf... cassie on kpop stan twitter and talking about the drama) and the rest just emoji reacting bc they support her but don’t always know what she’s talking about. kon just sending videos of the all farm animals and giving updates on things Ma bakes. i am open to suggestions on what their group chat’s name would be

SO. you may have seen a lot of art i’ve made of the core four/yj in general that were based on memes. i have a whole planned fic i am GOING to write someday that essentially connects & gives context to the situations around creating those memes and pretty much is just a social media au crack thing but treated kinda seriously and is set relatively canon compliant at the start. basic premise being young justice makes an instagram account just for general PR stuff once they have reunited and it goes off the shits. but yes so the headcanon here would be: wanting to explore the inherent chaos of making an instagram account for your teen superhero team and all the possible ways it could go both so right and so wrong

C (heart-crushing): 

ok so i kinda talked about tim’s side of this a little bit already in my last post like this, but in general this is less of a headcanon but more just... i think when you actually think about the stuff these four went through that pulled them apart and how they managed to come back together only to get then pulled apart again by the reboot and now having reunited in yj 2019, (JUST FOR KON TO BE GETTING SEPERATED A G A I N but im ignoring that part for this rn) and how that would impact each of them, theres just a lot of angst there.

mostly gonna focus on the current current here but god Bart and Kon both coming into this new world that they don’t know how many people actually remember them, with Tim and Cassie managing to be there and having some memories and being some of the few people who can be a familiar comfort... except it’s not all there. i talk about it a lot but that one scene in yj 2019 where Tim isn’t sure if his memories of him, kon, and bart’s sleepovers in mount justice are real or just a dream... that hurts! there’s likely a lot of stuff like that in the time before death metal when the only force giving back memories for him is some brain magic from Zatanna. the four of them managing to come back to each other despite all the odds but having pieces of it just not quite the same because of how the world was tampered with... that hurts me so bad and i wish we could have gotten that explored more 

D (canon is a coward and won’t):

im sorry that for pretty much all of my ‘canon wont do it’ hcs are just about actually making the characters lgbt but its the truth. nobody in young justice is cishet. i think i’ve mentioned before that im pretty loose on specific gender and sexuality hcs for a lot of comic characters (because it just... the way characters are written isn’t always consistent bc Comics Be Like That so my hcs can kinda change based on different things/eras of characters) but yeah. feeling particularly strong lesbian cassie vibes today tho i will say that

5x13, the series finale i have heard nothing but good things about - I made it y’all! *wipes tear* this is a show i will definitely rewatch! It definitely feels like the kind of show that’s so layered that every time you go back you’ll pick up something new. I love shows like that.

what was the fandom like in the early days (it seems like sorta dying but not quite dead rn?)

Woah this is gonna be long, sorry!

It was just more lively, really. More fanart being produced, more ask/RP/AU blogs popping up, more fic being made (ao3 barely updates now), A LOT more memes and shitposting or other humorous shenanigans. I never looked at this particular part of the fandom but, I had no clue that people were also making So Many baldi animation memes..? I rarely saw them crossposted to tumblr so I guess that’s why.

Like I would describe the early fandom as being a lot more... funny? There was lots of hilarious posts and really good blogs like ‘baldibuthesugly’ (deactivated, rip) that gave me lots of laughs. It did get pretty crazy and I (and others) got lots of crazy ask. Like the one anon who wanted to lay eggs inside of Baldi’s stomach or something.

Also because we were more active we often got attention from the outside, people just being like “wtf y do u guys exist??” or taking peoples art and putting it in cringe comp vids lol

Another thing was- from my perspective- we had surprisingly little drama for a fandom like this..? Like stuff did happen and people did fight but there was never anything really major (that I witnessed) that caused a divide in the fandom, or mass deactivations, or even cause the dev to step in and tell people to stop like I have seen and heard of happen with other fandoms. Which was always kind of funny bc I remember back in 2018 people outside the fandom kept yelling about how we were super toxic when......we werent... at all?

I would definitely ask other blogs who have been around this long this same question, anon! Sentryworm has always been a side blog, and I never followed many bbieal blogs (and still do) because I’m already following too many blogs to properly keep up with my dash. So my exposure is mainly through the baldi tag, asks ive received, and looking at the few blogs I did follow. Honestly I feel like I probably missed out on a big chunk of the fandom because of this. i’ve always regretted keeping this as a sideblog and not turning it into an account of its own but its way too late now.

But yeah to answer the other part the fandom is dying and everyone whos still hanging on is hoping that it will pick up after baldi’s basics plus comes out. You can actually see how the fandom is dying by going into the archive of any blog that has been around since 2018, and compare the amount of notes that posts received back then to what they receive now.

Currently the most active part of the fandom might be the japanese part of the fandom on twitter. They really love baldis basics and put out tons of great art all the time. the fan games like alex’s basics and billy’s basics are also really popular there too, so theres lots of fanart with baldi and the characters from those games.

king is hardly the only horror writer around and if he’s successful it’s bc he’s better at it than most people obviously, so OP can wonder why (hint: maybe he actually can write, more on that later) instead of complaining that he somehow controls a genre when all he’s done is publish books that people buy

also: king has a lot of things I don’t particularly like about his approach ie that his endings suck on a rate of three on five depending on the book’s length (the longer it is the higher is the risk it sucks which is why he’s that good at short stories), he has a really serious problem with that trope where the protagonists forget the whole story which is2g it’s one of my major pet peeves and I’ve cursed him for years for that, sometimes he forgets coherency within the plot is a thing and sometimes he writes about stuff I don’t care for in theory but guess what, other than the fact that he made me care for that stuff (guys if you told me I’d ever gaf about a plot like cujo’s when I was thirteen I’d have laughed in your face and when I read it I couldn’t put it down, it means it’s good), the thing is: king is the best writer I ever read when it comes not just to character work but to make you feel like you’re 100% with that person even if you don’t like them particularly which guess what is exactly the main thing I want in a book. like guys I read the body when I was fourteen and that sent me into the king spiral but at that age I had never ran across a piece that described so well exactly how I felt when I was twelve (and I remembered even too much thanks) and guess what I was projecting like hell on the pov..... WHO IS THE PSEUDO-STAND IN THAT THE OP COMPLAINS ABOUT bc he’s a writer when he grows up (and I wanted to be one - still do for that matter) and it didn’t matter that it was king putting himself partially into the story, because he was good enough at it that it really spoke to me down to my damned molecules, and I’m 100% sure that most people who read king and find him so enjoyable/the reason why he sells all the books he sells is that he gets people and it makes you see yourself in most of his characters or if not he gets you to be with them and he drops on you some seriously amazingly written truth bombs every other moment, and guess what I think that what I have in common with king is music taste, politics and very partial literary taste. the end. we’d probably wildly disagree on a hell of a lot of things including how good was shining as an adaptation and/or how much hp is actually a good book, but I didn’t need to have shit in common with him except maybe wanting to do the same job to read that damned short story and feel like he had looked right inside my damned brain.

and I’m a woman, but nvm. also lisey’s story was one of the best female povs I’ve ever read in my entire life hands down and king has a long-ass list of amazingly well-written and conceived female characters that he certainly doesn’t hate, so my opinion about that post is that op sorely needs to read a king book from start to finish without prejudices. and they also need to realize that if you watch a tarantino movie you know it’s him in the first five minutes and no one else could shoot any of his movies the way he does, which is the trademark of actually having a personality as a director and a personal style.

also idk how the hell they think tarantino self-inserts in his movies without dying because the one time he actively acted in one of them he died before the first twenty minutes but I’m done trying to discuss anything on this hellhole of a website when people obviously talk without knowing the material they’re discussing and that’s my tea.

Hi. Today is Saturday, January 23, 2020. I am currently drinking a rip-off White Claw from Aldi, because that’s the kind of life I currently live. Last year’s me would kick my ass for ever /vaping/. It looks SO stupid. But here we are. But don’t be so sad! I got home from Portland this morning (I currently live in Southern California). Portland is, so far, my favorite place to travel. Let me tell you why I did it, Penelope.

Let’s name names. We have nothing to hide. We did some not-so-good things in the past, but no one is perfect. What matters is you recognize your problems, target them, and figure out how to change your toxic self in the future. Okay. Disclaimer done.

So, let’s first start off with if I was still with Alyssa, your name wouldn't be Penelope. This isn’t a post about Alyssa, this post is about you. Alyssa, my most recent exes, one of two of my most real heart breaks, and honey it was bad, had already visited Portland. She and her friends did not like Portland. While she was going to be away for work, I decided I wanted to go on a little vacation, too! So, I planned my first solo trip ever. Portland. Goal? Prove it isn't boring like she thinks!

Days before my trip, she broke up with me.

I almost canceled it. Pen, I cannot describe to you in words just how much I loved that trip. It was some of the happiest I have ever been. The energy wasn’t like California. It wasn’t dragging. It was light. Friendly. Everyone was stupid nice. There was always something to do. Not a gross feeling anywhere. I felt like myself. The most me I had felt in a long while. AND? NO SALES TAX! It’s more affordable, has public transit, much nicer people, and overall the quality of life seems much more high. Not boring in the least.

So, I took another trip. I had to. The past semester about killed me. I deserved a break. I have been working really hard and making decent money for what I do (currently nannying: through an agency and my own business. I started my own in March 2019). I loved Portland in the cold just as I did in the summer. I really think that might be where we’ll be, P.

I went to the OMSI and there was an exhibit that had displays regarding the human reproductive system and they had this sensitive area of embryos/fetus’ from like a week after conception all the way to 40 weeks. The biggest part is they were REAL SPECIMENS!!!! I have only seem them on medical Instagram. The samples were not aborted, they were lost by natural causes. It was insane. I think I spent an hour looking at them / reading about them. It really made me feel the pain for parents who experience miscarriages / even the mother dying during birth. I mean, some of those babies were SO developed (Fetuses, sorry). So developed they could’ve been born any second. So developed I could tell at least a little of their race. I saw them covering their eyes/heads, or sucking their thumbs. It’s so human. But not quite. And, well, guess it got me thinking about you again.

I sound as creepy as Joe from “You”. But I just imagine everything with you by my side will be better than I could imagine it ever to be in general (I’m sorry, I’m experiencing a lot of emotions RN: someone’s tryna argue with me on Twitter, Good Love - Aly & AJ just came on, and I’m high.

Ok. Anyway. I do want to take you everywhere with me. But being a parent is hard in all ways - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, financially, maybe even developmentally I don't know. And I want to raise you to appreciate what you are given, because I didn’t until I was older. I was too spoiled and not taught correctly. I was given a lot. No, I’m not the most privileged child (/now adult), but I know I have a HELL of a lot more than a SHIT ton of people. And I don’t want your life to be average. I want to have a home where you can run and play, have a crib, a stupid changing table, a backyard, can take dance classes or play a sport and do Mommy & Me classes. I do want to spoil you. But I want to you know that I’m trying. Because no one really ever has.

I’m 23. Chances are, I will be seeing you within the next seven years. Meg said it’s Zack’s decision. Zack asked for advice from his dad about what he would do if he were in Zack’s spot. But he only said he’s not in Zack’s spot. In seven years, we will see if you are part of me and part of Zack. He really is a wonderful guy, so handsome, so thoughtful, and also? I already know you’re going to be so CUTE but a little me and Zack is going to be SOOOOOO CUTE (not in the straight way because like Meg and Zack are my parents). Penelope, as you grow up I will make sure you know all the truths and I will help you understand as much as I am able to teach you. I meant about the family situation, but now this is kind of applying to pretty much everything about your life.

I will be honest about who Megan and Zack are to you, who I am, and anything else you want to know. Kids are a hell of a lot smarter than adults give them credit for. I look forward to teaching you and raising you.

I love where life is now. I love focusing on me. Lord knows I need it. But I’m really really excited to see you. Sometimes I’m afraid motherhood will be too much for me but that’s something I can’t return at the store or give up on and return to next year. But then I know I have a record so far of making it out out alive of my most difficult or my most embarrassing days ever, so odds are I’ll make it through whatever obstacles come to me / us in the future.

it’s a truth universally acknowledged that if a tri movie is coming out, tumblr user dianaagron (clara for friends) won’t know about it until the day after, when she’ll wake up and check twitter after 84 years of not logging in and realize that yesterday was the day. actually, this time i remembered the episodes were out the same day they were released, but still it was because of good ol’ twitter, because with all the mess that’s going on with me (part of the reason why i’m never here) even if i happened to check at the beginning of the week when soushitsu was coming out, i still managed to completely forget about it in the span of a fucking day. also, i’m fucking pissed because i’ve always watched the thing after downloading the various episodes because that way i have all my stuff and i can go back and easily find caps and other stuff like that but nope not this time because i can’t fucking find a single torrent and i’m refusing to download subbed episodes because a) it’s gonna take so long to direct download something and b) what use are subbed episodes when i know i’d be replacing them with unsubbed ones as soon as i can find working dls (this is a cry of help: tell me where i can download the episodes, im dying, thank you)

one thing to take into account: i was extra pissed for various reasons yesterday night when i watched the first two episodes, so i’m not really sure if that’s why, compared to the shit that i had to deal with in real life, the episodes (in the contrary to all expectations) weren’t bad at all. truth is i actually liked this installment? INCREDIBLE, I KNOW. of course it had its nonsense moments and parts that made me roll my eyes (im buying pizza for everyone who can guess which were those moments) and other negative parts, but i really preferred movie 4 to movie 3. i’m guessing this is an unpopular opinion because i remember everyone was so happy with kokuhaku back in the day and i was the only soul going like lmao i didnt even cry but idk, i liked this one, it wasn’t bad. btw, i said i’m guessing mine could be an unpopular opinion because i’m writing this sorry excuse of a review before reading anything else cause i don’t want to be influenced :)))))

(save me ive written 500 words on nothing) (meanwhile i finally found torrent links) (and i had to pause the review because i ended up going out yesterday night so this is me talking one day later from what you’ve read before)

once again, i feel like nothing happened in the course of these four new episodes. now, i know i’m extremely slow when it comes to get plot points and all that (not because i’m that stupid, thank you very much, but because of my attention span varies from 1 second to 2 and a half so it’s hard for me to recall what happened in the previous installments unless i go and rewatch all of them - thing i won’t ever do because this girl right here is lazy as fuuuck) but if you sit down and think about what was revealed, you get close to nothing lmao.

winning points of the movie (for me):

not too many extreme closeups like in the previous installment. it flowed better, the animation quality wasn’t as terrible as it was in the previous four episodes (im saying this just by quickly looking at the caps i took - while in the other i had so many ugly caps here they all look presentable and usable) (i say this from the point of you of someone who makes edits of course, i dont have the knowledge of an animator lmao), the majority of the shots with mimi, which are the ones that i pay the most attention to, are super pretty, but also those with taichi’s!!! his design was super on point, i have many caps im probably gonna insert later of just him looking hella attractive, and sora!!! omg sora was so fucking beautiful in these episodes i was so :)))) yay for nice designs, they make me happy.

the lack of you know who for basically two episodes. it was so good, so nice, so calming. i was loving life and life was loving me.  

HOW THEY HANDLED THE TAIORATO!!!! if you know me or if you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know this already, but i’m saying this in case i have new readers (HI) or, y’know, to swipe some dust off: i’m not the biggest fan of the main three. that comes from the fact that michi is my otp and i love taishiro probably too much for my own sanity, so i tend to be on the taichi/koushiro/mimi & yamato/sora/jyou side of things (which is like, super unpopular because if it’s not taiorato then it’s yamichi, so you get why my life is a constant struggle). anyway, thing is that i actually loved the interactions between the three? it was light and it felt super real, it could easily be relatable. it was also clear to me that taichi’s and yamato’s roles in sora’s life were blatantly different and i also loved to see how the two of them while being in the same situation reacted differently, but i’m gonna touch this topic later. overall tho, good job on the dynamic between those three. im clapping my hands, i wasn’t excited about it when the movie poster came out five months ago but i’m so happy that they made me love the parts with taichi, yamato and sora.

it wasn’t heavy on fight scenes. i know. I KNOW. but as i’ve said, i’m not the average digimon fan so i’m happy with my bonds developing and less fights and all that stuff :))))

meiko exceeding all expectations and NOT CRYING for all four episodes. such sorcery.

also, as i’ve said, idk what’s the popular opinion but i loved sora’s arc, it was nicely done and i don’t have anything to bitch about (except for meiko’s unnecessary presence). i felt for her and i wanted to wrap a blanket around her and just give her all the love.

Character Headcanons: *SPOILERS* -Shiro: Species: Human - Japanese Family: Mom-Living, Dad-Living Lives: Lives with both of his parents in a house Story: Shiro is the star football player for his school (The Garrison, Mascot are lions) and while pulling a prank with some friends he gets in a car crash by himself while being chased by the cops and his arm is permanently injured (aka gone and replaced by a prosthetic) and because of this (and the fact he was placed under house arrest) he is unable to play football anymore. He attends detention on Saturdays at the school where he meets Pidge and Hunk. Fast forward to when they get their Ranger coins and the next morning, Shiro wakes up with no memory of how he got home, with great strength, and his arm is now upgraded (haven’t decided how yet), but plays it off as Hunk making a few adjustments to it. When training Coran replaces his regular human prosthetic with one that can help Shiro fight better (aka connects with Shiro’s armor, nerve feeling per Shiro’s request, and can match his new gained strength). He becomes the leader of the Rangers.

-Hunk: Species: Human - Samoan (idk if that’s spelled right) Family: Mom-Living, Dad-Deceased in war Lives: With his mom in a house Story: Hunk has a medical symptom that makes it hard for him to grasp humor, but not impossible. When he was young his died overseas at war, but before that whenever his dad was able to come home Hunk and him would go out exploring for stuff out in the local gold mines and after his dad died he continued this without his mom’s knowing. Hunk is only in detention because he had built a tracking device in order to find more of something he found, but it ended up exploding in his locker. After meeting the other Rangers, he finally has friends and a place where he feels he belongs after years of bullying from others.

-Lance: Species: Human - Cuban Family: Mom-Living (has a disease and is dying), Dad-Not in the picture, Siblings-Not in the picture (with their dad or off somewhere) Lives: In a mobile home park Story: When Lance was younger he was a part of a big and close-knit family and he absolutely admired his mom for who she was and what she did. But, around the time Lance was 8, his mom developed a brain disease that would kill her some day and his dad had decided that it would be best to leave with the kids, but because Lance adored his mom he refused to leave and instead stayed with his mom. Lance had soon stopped going to public school and was instead homeschooled by teachers his dad paid for because Lance refused to go to school just in case something happened to his mom. This went on for a few years until his dad stopped paying the teachers and was almost completely out of Lance and his mom’s lives except for a few birthday and Christmas cards. Lance had started working at whatever jobs he could find as his mom’s condition worsened to point where she couldn’t work, but even through all of this Lance tried to friendly, fun, and caring for others. When he meets the other Rangers he feels as if he’s found a new family he can trust in.

-Keith: Species: Human - Korean Family: Mom-Not in the Picture, Dad-Deceased, Siblings-None Lives: In an orphanage run by nuns (right now), but has had to move from one orphanage to another earlier due to disciplinary issues. Story: After moving 3 times in almost 2 years from one orphanage to another, Keith has become closed off to others and decides it’s better to not get involved with others. Keith doesn’t go to school much and usually hangs out near the local forest/goldmine to get away from things. After meeting the other Rangers he starts to open up, but not completely as he doesn’t know how long it’ll last.

-Pidge: Species: Human - American Family: Mom-Living, Dad-Works overseas in a lab, Siblings- One; Matt; works under his dad overseas at Kerberos Labs Story: With both her dad and brother gone overseas, Pidge’s mom has a hard time coping and starts to take it out on Pidge (not physically though. None of that) because she knows that when Pidge is done with school she’ll go to work with her dad and brother overseas. At this time also the person she likes (who she is sort of close with) wants to get with her friends and both of these incidents cause a lot of stress for Pidge until she snaps and betrays both her friends and the person she likes by sharing an indecent pic of the friend to the person she likes and punches one of their teeth out, this is what lands her in detention where she meets Shiro and Hunk. Because of what she did though, she is completely kicked out of her friend group and eventually quits track because of the peer pressure. She eventually becomes a Ranger and a friend to the others.

-Coran: Species: Android (talking robot) Family: None (he’s a robot) Lives: On the original Power Ranger’s ship Story: Coran is the Android that helped to train and guide the original Rangers and now helps this new team of Rangers.

-Alfor: Species: Altean or as he is rn a wall Family: All Deceased Lives: Within the wall of the Power Ranger control room within the ship) Story: Was the original Red Ranger (Funny because wasn’t he the Red Paladin in Voltron?) and after the first battle with Sendak that resulted in him and his entire team dying along with the end of the Cenozoic period, get placed into the wall of Ranger Ship by Coran, in order to preserve his consciousness and soul.

-Sendak: Species: Galra Family: None Lives: At the bottom of the sea for 65 million years and then is homeless Story: In this AU, Sendak takes the place of the main villain, Rita, but unlike her, Sendak wasn’t the original Green Ranger and instead stole the Green Ranger’s Power coin after killing them and then used the coin as a power source to summon a Robeast. Before Sendak could summon the Robeast though, the asteroid had crashed into the Earth and threw him into the ocean, but was able to survive (sort of) for 65 million years because the Green Ranger coin he stole had connected to him in a sense. After he reawakens he goes around Altea searching for the materials needed to summon the robeast (precious metals) and attacks the town for the quintessence crystal.

Extra Stuff that is changed from the canon stuff so the AU makes more sense: 1. Ages: Matt is 2-3 years older than Pidge and should be in Shiro’s grade, but he skipped ahead and is now working with his dad overseas at Kerberos Labs. Shiro, Lance, Hunk, Keith, and Pidge are all in high school (sophomores and up). 2. Hunk and Lance used to be childhood friends until Lance’s dad and siblings left. Lance started to stay home more and more until he stopped going to school. Hunk would sometimes see Lance in town, but never approached as he thought it would be awkward and he didn’t know what happened to Lance. 3. I would like for Pidge to be in the mindset of figuring out whether or not she is or will become transgender, but whatever happens with her decision on this will be decided later on down the road.

Extra stuff for the future as the AU progresses: 1. This movie has been said to have 5 more movies coming out and in the next one(?) a new Green Ranger will become part of the main team and in my mind, that’ll be Matt. Meaning that later on down the line Matt will become the Green Ranger in this AU unless their characters don’t match up and Matt either stays out of the picture for the most part or becomes the White Ranger (when the white ranger comes into the picture). 2. Allura will also be joining the Ranger team later on down the line as either the Green or White Ranger (Which ever she fits). In this AU Allura will be the reincarnation of Alfor’s  daughter who was also a Ranger, so There are going to be some awkward and sad moments between them. 3.
