Snow White and the Four Chickens

These pictures were taken by my mother in December (edits by me), before the small trees got completely buried under the ton of snow that fell in January. I am also posting this as I sit next to our fireplace while it is -27°C outside (feeling like -40°C thanks to the wind chill).
