MCM virtual 50K The plan was to run this at MAFF pace the same pace I want to run Lost 118 miler, at. Mission accomplished. The strength workouts seemed to have started to pay off. My glutes and Psoas didn’t give me any problems at all. My lower back was hurting but only when I let my form get sloppy. Nutrition was ok. I had 2 Hammer gels, 1 Skratch bar Floyd’s CBD gummies and 2 bladders worth of Skratch and Liquid IV. Ran in my Torins. I did fall apart around mile 28. I was going to stop at Dunkin’ so I didn’t bother having a 3rd gel...then I couldn’t be bothered to stop for Doughnuts. Super stoked. I’ve recently started adding speed workouts to my running routine. 2 weeks ago I ran 5.7 miles at a 6.49 min mile. Last week I ran the same rout at a 6.41 min mile and today I ran it at a 6.38 min mile.
