HIIIII SORRY THIS IS SO LATE (i just woke up) but.... omg this is so tough wth... ok these aren't gonna be in any real order bc I love them all equally soo lets fucking goooo!!

1. Raul Tejada (fnv) !!! My God I love him so much?? He's easily my favorite companion in the game (arcade is a close second hehe) and?? His story?? His dialogue??? His views and interactions with the world around him???! He's become so jaded and cynical abt the world due to experiencing decades of trauma and loss, and yet underneath his sarcastic and critical shell he has so much life and hope for himself and the world.... the way you can see him start to trust and care for you as you progress his storyline despite his fear of everything(/one) he loves being taken from him gruesomely, maybe even you... the way you can either give his hope, a fighting chance and help him unearth his youthful courage or let him stay a simple travelling mechanic, and how he'll still be content to travel with you either way...... crying sobbing whimpering sniffling

2. Harry/Heather Mason (silent hill) I'm linking them together bc of how deeply their stories intertwine and I think telling one story without the other misses out on so much.. God the unending amount of love and dedication Harry held in his heart for literally every version of his daughter (cheryl, heather, even alyssa)... the fact that she's not his of blood and yet he would die for her, or how even after losing his wife he doesn't let it effect how much he cares for her... him fighting a literally hell-spawn GOD for his baby and his lack of hesitancy to take the chance when the birther of said god (who is, u guessed it, technically his daughter!) gives him back his little girl... and God. Heather my everything girl... destined to suffer immeasurable pain from birth and seen as nothing but a tool, yet she never gives up her fighting spirit. The way she discovers old notes from her dad during his original trip, learning how much he did to get her back and recognizing that he gave her the beat life possible despite the circumstances. They love eachother so much not even death or fucked up creatures can come between it!! Wtf!! (<- is crying) and Lord. The process of her learning about her torture as Alyssa, re-experiencing her past pains while fighting herself at the same time. Her interactions with people and how she goes from desperation and confusion to confident and sceptical all while still being a confused and lonely kid!!! The ending with her fighting a hell-spawn god of which she was the creator, which I don't see talked abt but like. She LITERALLY killed her own evil gore blood death god kid.. great googly moogily she needs therapy(<- is the plot of a sh game for the wii)

3. Jack Wynand (Bioshock) oh. My god?? A fucking test tube baby sleeper agent turned dad... no but ok the horrific realization at the peak of the game that you're playing as a tool of mass destruction and just murdered your father for a man who's been lying to you about himself the entire time?!? Also I'm not taking into account bad/evil end jacks. If you killed little sisters for anything other than completionist reason kill urself forreal. ANYWAYS all this plus the fact that tenembaum, another person whos been guiding jack through the story, helped in creating him and has been aware of it the whole time?? It COULD be argued that she used Jack to meet her own goals (saving little sisters) but.. it's hard not to think she feels love and guilt for jack just as she does the little sisters?? The way he can relate to them really puts into perspective your treatment of them and, when you eventually play the role of a protector for them it's like. Breaking out of the mold formed for him, helping those like them and them helping and caring for him in return..... Lord.

(As Piper and Leo walk into the attic while Paige orbs in with Phoebe.)

Piper: “Wyatt Matthew Halliwell, what in the hell have you done this time?”

Wyatt: “I – I thought I had killed Chris.” “So, I used magic to bring him back alive.”

(Piper walks over to aid Chris.)

(Creeps sounds from the stairs.)

(Piper, Paige, Phoebe, and Leo turns around to see Prue.)

(Prue uses her Telekinesis to cause a Telekinetic Combustion, barely missing Phoebe, hitting the chandelier.)

Paige: “Home!” remote orbing on Phoebe

The last scene between Alyssa & her mom (“my life’s already hard!” It’s a very impactful and emotional scene and you just feel a lot of feelings it’s a lot to handle) to the point where Alyssa says I LOVE YOU EMMA NOLAN and Emma says HOLY SHIT. - Oh my god all of them every single fucking one. First of all the casting, recasting Alyssa and Principal Hawkins were the best decisions they could have ever made. Just really and truly such a good choice. There’s dialogue changes and added scenes between Alyssa and Mrs. Greene that give things a more serious, not dark but kind of darker vibe. Unpopular opinion but I love the change to You Happened. The blocking for that scene adds a whole other layer to it that you didn’t get in the fluffy rom com version of Atlanta. I could write an essay on the blocking there omg

ok so i feel like i’ve talked FOREVER about all the wild shit that happened to us at morphicon (running into rangers at the car valet!! meeting chip lynn!! azim calling us his favorite ladies at the con!!) but i wanted to make a write up for all the stuff i haven’t talked about yet because i have to remember all this and i want you all to experience it too!! it was so fun oh my god if you haven’t been to morphicon... start making plans for 2020 guys it is legit INSANE best weekend of my entire LIFE

- ann marie crouch is AN ACTUAL PRINCESS SENT FROM HEAVEN we ran into her on our way back to the hotel one of the days and we were like omg it’s princess shayla we love you!! and she was so sweet and stopped and talked to us even though she was on her way out for a nap and she was in full shayla gear she looked so pretty! and we saw her on the way back too she had changed into casual clothes but still rocking it WE LOVE ONE MENTOR ONLY

- jessica rey is so funny and adorable omg we stopped by her booth to buy wild force pins (kat and abbey) bc the wf rangers come PREPARED w/ merch and nobody was there so we all just started talking to her and told her how we loved wild force and alyssa and abbey said she loved the ep where alyssa beat up the boys and she’s so cute and fun to talk to!! she told us about the shades of pink panel and i was like “is alyssa a pink or a white ranger” and she was like “lol i dont even know” also she had her handler take a staged candid of us talking to her because she loved us lmao. and then we were talking about white rangers and all of us were like “fuck tommy lives we stan alyssa only” and she laughed and immediately started telling us about what a dick jdf had been to fans the day before lmao (also for real...he’s a dick) and i was like YOU ARE THE SUPERIOR WHITE TIGER RANGER god shes so cool she loved us and didnt wanna stop talking but we had to move away cuz ppl were lining up for her behind us rip

- RICHARD AND ANGIE oh my god ok so i’d stopped and talked to angie on the first day and also the second day and i told her i’d come back later bc i wanted a photo w/ BOTH OF THEM and i did tell her how much i loved madison and vida like we are ROCCA SISTER STANS FIRST PEOPLE SECOND and shes so cute and she remembered us every time!! and then on the third day i finally got to talk to richard and he’s so sweet we talked about mystic force just at his booth for like ten minutes waiting for angie for the photo op, he asked us our fave episodes and i said dark wish and he actually remembered it so i think he might be the only actor at the con who watched his season. and we told him we loved the mystic force theme song AND HE STARTED SINGING IT. and someone had left him a green zeo figurine for...some reason and he told us “i dont even fucking know who that is” (but nicer lol he is very charming and polite) and we told him it was adam/johnny and he was like ohhhh lmao i love disney era actors not knowing SHIT about saban era. like he literally worked with johnny. i love him. AND THEN HE ASKED US ALL TO BE IN THE PHOTO and since kat paid for half of it we were like aight its a group thing and its the cutest photo i love disney era actors only

- i think i talked about meeting dwayne cameron already but god hes so sweet and i felt bad for him bc caitlin next to him had ppl she was talking to but he was all alone so me and abbey just went up and started talking to him and i told him i loved overdrive and i told him i recognized him as ethan’s bully and we talked about tyzonn and vella and just overdrive in general and hes so SWEET and he HUGGED ME SO TIGHT GOD i think he really enjoyed us like. actually loving overdrive and being able to talk about it. AND HE RAN INTO ABBEY IN CARS LAND AT DISNEY ON MONDAY AND GAVE HER ANOTHER HUG hes so cute (angie was also there with him I LOVE DISNEY ERA SOLIDARITY)

- met monica may and cerina vincent on saturday, not a lot to say bc i only talked to them a bit and took my photos but they are both so beautiful and elegant and classy and i told cerina i loved her in stuck in the middle :’) ranger ladies are so intimidatingly pretty god. also picked up this huge LEGIT spd poster and im gonna put it up in my room as soon as i can because oh my god its professional quality it looks so cool. we also talked to greg aronowitz bc kat wanted her poster signed and hes so cool we told him how much we appreciated everything he did for spd AND THAT WE WERE ON HIS SIDE ABOUT FEMALE RED FUCK DISNEY.

- god what else uhh we wandered around the toys section a lot on saturday/sunday bc we’d kinda. seen everyone. and there were a lot of panels on sunday so nobody was at the booths. i picked up those amazing rider/sentai prints from ceevee SUPER TALENTED SO WORTH IT. also got me a meteor storm figuart B) which i havent taken out of the box yet but i will

- HECTOR AT THE CAR VALET he literally announced he would be at morphicon the day before and then we saw him while waiting for our car and SCREAMED and he was so chill and cool and he came over and hugged us all hes so hot. AND THEN LATER WE RAN INTO SELWYN WARD AT THE CAR VALET and he also laughed when we squealed and came over and hugged us all and guys he smelled soooo nice i was like right up against him i could have died hes so handsome and perfect.

- we also ran into steve cardenas at the car valet like right when we were all leaving the hotel for the last time and we told him that we loved him and i said i was so excited that it was rocky coming back for the anniversary instead of fucking jason and abbey was like “justice for forever red!” and he was like hah i know right anyway every single actor in this franchise hates jdf lmao that was just the vibe of morphicon and it was valid

- fun fact we did not see jdf ONCE. not going to the con, not at the hotel, not ANYWHERE. just his crazy lines. he was like the douchebag cryptid. im glad tho he can stay that way.

- i talked about meeting andre on saturday night right??? hes so SWEET I LOVE HIM he was so happy when ben gave him his fanart of eddie and took a selfie w/ ben right then and there and also took a pic w/ me and abbey ugh i love him i told him he was so valid for being a power rangers youtuber and liking megaforce AND THAT HE’S THE BEST INTERVIEWER THEY’VE EVER HAD (i also told azim this, i’m very passionate about this subject, every other ranger interviewer sucks ASS)

- we also went up to kelson’s booth later and told him how much we loved mick and all his roles!! and talked to him forever about all of them, told him we were kalish/disney era supremacists, told him HOW GOOD HE IS AT VOICE ACTING WE LOVE FLIT AND NORG IN THIS HOUSE he looked so happy :’) i feel like everyone just compliments him on boom which, no offense, but appreciate your voice actors guys. i told him we grew up on disney era and it was like new zealand only had twelve actors and he was five of them and he laughed and was like yeah. i also told him how we loved mick and brody’s father/son relationship and he was like yeah they ended up liking that a lot too which is why they sort of pushed brody’s real dad to the side so mick could shine more and i was like that’s LEGIT. i also told him the prism was brody’s mother and he agreed so that’s canon now. AND I TOLD HIM how fucking dark ninja steel went w/ his storyline literally being about slavery and human trafficking and he was like I KNOW RIGHT and we just talked about how dumb everyone is for being mean to ninja steel and chris showed up at this point too and we all laughed about it together

- ok and then tbh we just spent all of sunday loitering around the megaforce cast but it was worth it because they LOVE US oh my god we talked to them like all sunday about just. everything. azim’s gf jordan was there and she kept telling us to just stick around we talked to her a lot, we asked her about alex heartman and like where tf was he and she said he was working :( BUT AZIM AND ALEX ARE STILL CLOSE so victory. azim also told us a bunch of little stories like how he and the megaforce cast searched for a house to stay in together and ended up finding one at the base of a volcano and he and drew would race around the volcano in the mornings like the crazy people they are, we told him how much we loved andrew’s ACTING SKILLS and “do you see any tears” and he cracked up and said “they used to call me ‘freaky tiki man’ all the time because of that one line” and he told us about other fan encounters and things, we told him on saturday how we all met and became friends because we were the only ppl who loved and defended megaforce and he was SO TOUCHED HES SO SWEET GOD i would die for him. 

- cameron gave us (me and kat) all his money to buy him lunch from the food trucks and i guess just trusted that we loved megaforce so much we wouldn’t just run away with all his money????? and he was absolutely correct we got him teriyaki chicken with garlic noodles and he loved us. his handler also asked us to buy him food and gave us his CREDIT CARD dfhdgfjgdf like power rangers people are wild man. who just gives their credit card to random 20yo girls and just. trusts that they love this children’s show so much they won’t steal it??? i mean they were right and we didn’t but still. AND HE MADE ME AIRDROP one of my megaforce reaction pics to his phone because he loved it so much (it’s the one of jake and emma and orion looking super done, that i had ben redraw for me, so we showed them both pics and all three of them LOVED IT) and cameron even looked ben up on deviantart to see it fdgjkdfdg he loves usss. christina was telling us how they were talking about us at dinner and cameron told her that we were his favorite part of the con :’)) azim also mentioned that they talked about us at dinner because he said to kat “we were discussing that you look like that girl from 10 things i hate about you who was julia stiles’ best friend” LIKE IMAGINE. HAVING THE MEGAFORCE CAST. DISCUSS WHO YOU LOOK LIKE FDJGKDHFJGD they’re so cute ugh and azim and cameron hugged us all goodbye and john mark and christina said goodbye too and i just. love them. so much. 

- at one point cameron asked me and kat how old we were and she was like “twenties...as a group we are in our early twenties” and he was like “.... so old enough to know how a hangover feels right?” and we lost it dfgjfdkdgjh and i said “if i were an actor i would just be stoned the whole con” AND CAMERON JUST NODDED AGGRESSIVELY god the entire cast was definitely hungover and they’re so valid. except christina, we asked her and she said she only had a milkshake so maybe she was their designated driver. 

- andrew is so chill too (i mean i do think he is perpetually high but its fine) i think he just loves talking??? like he’s there for the babies (so many babies!! and they love troy so much!!! hes so adorable with them) and then he just wants to chill like we went up to him on sunday and he was like oh hey did you guys see this picture and he pulled out his phone and showed a pic of the megaforce cast doing a goofy zombie pose at their photo ops and he told us his backstory on each of their zombie poses like. who does this??? he’s so adorable.

- and ofc we stopped by christina again on sunday bc she’s THE FAVE and shes just so cuuute ugh and i told her i loved all asian rangers bc i am asian!! and she was like omg are you?? and i was like yeah i’m south asian and she was like omg so that’s all part of asia too OH I GET IT SO WE’RE BOTH ASIAN and i was like YES AND YOU’RE ALL MY RANGERS and she smiled at me it was like staring at the sun tbh. i love and would die for her.

- when we went to say goodbye to the megaforce cast cameron just looked at all of us standing around his booth and was like, so genuinely, “you guys are the best” and it still makes me cry thinking about it. AND AZIM’S FACE when we all said “megaforce’s defenders never surrender!” to him he had the sweetest smile god i really would take a bullet for the entire megaforce cast in a heartbeat. they are the sweetest angels & deserve the world. if any of you breathe a word wrong about jake holling in my general vicinity ever again i will fry your intestines and eat them for breakfast thank you GOODBYE.

March

Started my weekly professional practice experience (PPE) at UI Health. Every Friday for 8 weeks. Made me realize how crazy expensive parking downtown is. 

Binge watched GoT so I can watch the last season when it came out. Season 7 is my favorite! 

Discovered SHY Martin and omfg I love her music. 

Had a fight with one of the closest people in my life, and it opened my eyes to many things. I learned a lot like for example: no matter how close you are to a human being, there will be times where your opinions and views won’t align and I guess that’s okay. Try not to take things personally.

Also discovered L Devine from a YouTuber and I love her music too!! 

I was finally able to use my Twitter account on the actual app. I was locked out for months and had to use a third party app. 

April

Saw BLACKPINK with my sister and two of my cousins. First concert attended for 2019! 

Finally caught up with GoT and was able to watch s8 as it came out every Sunday. 

Uni kept me busy (lol when does it not???)

I was awarded, along with two other classmates, the Chancellor’s Student Service Award. 

Became a ninang to my first ever inaanak, Miah. 💗

Watched “Someone Great” on Netflix and bawled my eyes out towards the end. Nicely incorporated music throughout the whole movie. 👍🏼

Started to get disappointed with how GoT was going. 

A classmate & I did a joint report on our PPE experience at UI Health to end the semester. 

Started to watch Kdramas again! I watched Touch Your Heart and I had the biggest crush on Lee Dong Wook for a couple of weeks lol. 

Watched Aladdin with my sister at AMC Oakbrook and wore an all white outfit when it was pouring rain lmao. I still feel sad about how my continental 80s were soaking wet. 😢

Started watching Lucifer. I fell in love with Tom Ellis. 

Worked the weekends only because my boss didn’t give me as much hours as I wanted. :( I need money for my vacation :(

Warriors lost the finals, and with many injuries to their star players. I am a sad potato :(

WHEN THEY SEE US. Omfg this show stirred up so many feelings in me that I didn’t know I was capable of. I still highly recommend this mini series. This show also replaced my crush from Tom Ellis to Jharrel Jerome.

Hello birth month! Kicked it off by travelling to Florida with my grandparents to visit my tita & tito who live there. Very hot and humid omg. First time my eyes were ever dry that I needed to use eye drops. 

Also, Southwest lost my luggage so we were stuck at home the first day in FL to wait for it to get dropped off. 

 A lot happened this month...

Had to fly to PH early because of a family emergency. 

CULTURE SHOCK. I haven’t been home in 6 years. 

So grateful for my longtime bff, Johan, for staying with me at home while my grandparents were in Bohol sorting some things out. 

7/23: LANY concert at MOA Arena with Johan. Second  and last concert for 2019. #thefeels. Manila traffic is insane. Flew back home early the next day because..

7/25: stayed at davao overnight. Had dinner with friends. I was wasted af. Early flight next day to Cebu.

7/31: Instead of closure, we started something new. We decided to try again. Probably the first and last time I’d let someone read what I wrote on my private blogs. Also, everything happens for a reason haha.

Impulsively upgraded my phone to 11, hated the quality (reminded me of android phones). So after four days, I upgraded it to the 11 Pro Max. No more spending this year! Lol. 

After all the struggles I went through with school this semester, I still managed to finish with straight A’s thanks to the extra credit points from completing the course evaluations. Summa cum laude = secured. 👩🏻‍🎓✨☝🏼

I tried Disney Plus and binge watched The Suite Life on Deck. I remembered I used to have the biggest crush on Cody since the first Suite Life lol.

Literally me. Because I legit got zero fucking sleep last night cuz my brain just kept going back to Jason and sending me mental pictures of his smile and eyes and how adorable he looks coming into the cooler without his jacket or hoodie on and he’s got his arms kinda buried in his snowpants. Gads. I swear I’m in freaking love. The entire day, once 4:30 hit, I was a grinning dope and literally was unable to eat cuz the butterflies in my stomach kept trying to launch off with it and my heart. I was standing at my freezer locker when I saw a familiar orange hat go by on a fork truck and I was done for. Dopey smile the whole way to lunch cuz Jason had arrived for his shift. So I texted my mom during lunch telling her, “...I hate that an orange ballcap can bring such a dopey grin to my face. An orange ballcap going by on a fork truck. Yep. I have a biiiiiig problem!!” And she just texted back laughing at me! 

I’d also been trying to figure out how I could find out his last name without being weird about it. Had finally settled on I’d ask my buddy on second shift if he’d be able to do some sleuthing for me. He’s crushing majorly on one of the guys on my shift, so I figured Brandon would be my go to to find info out for me and not judge me on it. Well, I walked into the building tonight, clocked in, and glanced to the first shift time cards and there, right in front, nothing blocking it from view, was a time card that said Jason Stobaugh and I went, “AH! O.O” Some how my piss poor brain instantly memorized that spelling even though I’m dyslexic and horrible at spelling to begin with. But that I was spelling to myself the whole night, including to the point of writing Alyssa Stobaugh on the back of my load sheet. Yeah, I sunk that low. LOL! But, later, I saw a list of birthdays for September up in the lunch room and there was another Jason listed, so, I wasn’t sure which was him until after I got back to the cooler and was working a bit and one of the first shift cleaning guys came in and was talking to me and I just casually was like, “Oh hey, Tyler. What’s Jason’s last name?” Tyler kinda looked at me like I was nuts for a second and then went, “Uh, I know it starts with a S, but I’m not sure what it is. ...whyyyyy?” I played it cool and shrugged and went, “I’m just curious. I know your last name, and a few other people’s last names on first back here, but hell, I didn’t even know his name was Jason until I’d heard someone call him that. So, I was just curious.” I fiiiiiiinally have a bit more info on my adorable, quiet Jason! Sadly, I’ve already looked, if he has a facebook page, he has it hidden. Cuz of the four or five that pop up with that name, none of them are him. 

He spent most of the night running shipments into the freezer, but oh God, the few times he came into the cooler were basically the highlight of my utterly sleep deprived night. No, no, correction, getting to talk to him and make him smile and laugh again were the highlights of my night! I’m seriously making it my life goal to make him smile and laugh every day. Thus, I am never skipping work again. Ever. I was almost afraid tonight I wouldn’t get to talk to him, not even just our usual passing off labels and being all, “Here ya go,” “Thanks.” BUT! I got my chance when I knew shipments had come in and he was putting stuff away, so I figured he’d be the person to ask about a product the computer was telling me was a markout (nowhere in the warehouse, whatsoever) before I did anything with it. So, as he was starting to leave the cooler, I kinda stepped up with the paper in my hand I had the product info written down on and went, “Hey Jason!” He stopped and waited and oh sweet Jesus! Lemme tell you! I’mma tell you a thing here! I cannot for the life of me make and keep eye contact with people while I’m talking to them. I can’t do it. I get all shifty and uncomfortable and awkward, right? I zeroed in on those eyes and got ‘em locked in and good Lord his eyes are to fucking die for!!! Especially out from behind his glasses (he hadn’t put them back on yet after having been in the freezer). Oh fuck me please???? I dunno how, but I kept my eyes locked to his the entire time I asked him if he’d gotten a shipment of the FairLife 2% milk in. At first all I got was a headshake and closed mouth “hm-uh” which was almost a disappointment until I had kinda started to nod and turn back for the computer and heard him go, “We were supposed to get one last week, I think, but because of the hurricanes a lot of our shipments are being delayed. So, we should be getting it maybe next week I think?” The fact that I remember what he told me is rather surprising considering how in my head all I kept screaming was, “HOW ARE YOUR EYES SO FUCKING GORGEOUS?! HOW IS THIS FAIR?!?! THIS ISN’T FAIR!! OMG YOU’RE SAYING QUITE A BIT TO ME! DON’T BE A DOOF, LYSSA! DON’T BE A DOOF!!!” I nodded and started to scoot out of his way so he could get by me and turned it into kind of a little playful dance thing as I spun back around to face him again going, “Oh hey! My favorite words then! Markout!” Which got me my first laugh and smile of the night as he nodded and continued heading out. 

Then later I needed product pulled down for my guys to pick from like, right the fuck now, so I didn’t have time to run out and get our backstocker guy to pull it down. I’d seen Jason come in to put some more stuff away so I went hurrying to his fork truck, waited for him to finish before I caught his attention again.

“Hey Jason? Could I maybe borrow you for just a second, please?”

He stopped and looked over at me and was like, “Sure. What’cha need?”

“Could I get you to pull some muffins down for me just real quick?”

“Yeah, absolutely.”

Now, I hadn’t wanted to ask him to do that for me cuz I knew he was busy and honestly, the first and last time I’d asked him to pull product down for me was moooooooooooonths ago and he kinda made a big deal about it (to be fair, he was new -- I think... -- and was busy trying to get his own stuff done at the time). So we headed into the “muffin room”, I pointed out which one needed to be pulled down and I stood there and waited until he brought the pallet down and put it in its spot, I thanked him, “Thank you very much, Jason.” 

“Yeah, not a problem.” Got a bit of a smile and off he went.

And there’s me, standing in front of this pallet of lemon cakes, fighting back the urge to grin like a massive idiot as I pulled a couple boxes loose, clutched them to my chest and went scurrying back to my computer and what I’d been stacking at the time. I think next time I brave to ask him to pull something down for me, I’mma walk right up to his fork truck, fold my arms over the side of it, rest my chin on my arms and look up at him. Just to see what kind of reaction I get. :D 

Honestly, with as sleep deprived as I was tonight, my filters were down pretty damn low. I don’t know how I didn’t do something ridiculous like call him darlin’ or something, which I tend to call everyone back in the cooler dear or darlin’. I almost did! I was once again waiting as he was putting some product away, mostly just watching him but making it look like I was paying attention to what he was doing and everything so I knew where he was going so I didn’t risk stepping behind him while he was backing up or something. And for a while my guys were constantly in his way. They were leaving carts in the middle of aisles, stepping out in front of him or just walking backwards and not paying any attention at all as he was trying to get back out again. So, when he finally noticed me and motioned that I could scoot by him, I did and went, “Da---dude, I am so sorry my guys keep getting in your way, today!” WHICH earned me smile and laugh number two as he shook his head and went, “You’re fine. Don’t worry about it.” 

I was legit so sleep deprived that I was changing the lyrics to “I Want Candy” and “Hey Mickey” to “I want Jason” and “Oh Jason you so fine, you so fine you blow my mind, hey Jason! Hey Jason!” and was singing them out loud to myself. I’m sure someone had to have heard me. Luckily, no one said anything about it. I could have easily have asked him if he was single or for his phone number and probably not have batted an eye or even kicked myself later for it, I was that sleep deprived. I didn’t though. Dunno how, but I didn’t.

My favorite pastime now has become Jason watching. I ain’t even sorry, but man, it’s gonna get me into trouble one of these days. Literally any time he came into the cooler I basically stopped what I was doing to watch him and get this dopey, silly grin on my face. I was stacking a truck and he came in. He was in the other aisle. I couldn’t even really see him just his fork truck and I stopped and watched and giggled and got all goofy feeling inside. And my favorite part was when he’d brought a pallet of milk in to restock and it was too tall to fit wherever he had wanted to put it so he’s trying to pull these crates and cases of milk off the top...dude is only freakin’ 5ft5 at most. I swear me and him are exact same height. I swore he was gonna drop one of those cases on his head! He looked so silly and adorable stretching on his toes to reach crates and his fingers just brushing over them cuz he was just that much too short to really reach them. Oh God, I couldn’t stop laughing. It was just so damned cute! 

Anyway, so, towards the end of the night, we were basically done picking and I was scrambling to get things checked since management decided to be dumbasses once again and needlessly sent me newbies who didn’t know what was happening and everything. Well, newbies done fucked shit up is what they did. So, I was trying to get one of the stops straightened out when I heard the printer start going off next to me again. Look over, and there’s Jason’s labels getting printed. I started folding them and went, “Fuck it. Jason, you’re adorable, but I’m not doing this right now.” So I let them drop and tried to continue, except they kept printing and printing and I was like, “GUH! FINE!” Dropped what I was doing and quickly started folding them -- all while my buddy Josh is standing there next to me laughing at my struggle to get them folded and my mutterings about Jason being adorable as fuck and he was lucky he was so damned cute. I’d confessed to Josh earlier in the shift about how my mom was laughing at me cuz I’m such a coward and how I’ve seemed to developed quite the crush on “the first shift receiving supervisor”. In fact, apparently my desire to not let half the department know about this was forgotten by me today in my sleep deprivation as Josh was in fact the second person I’d told about it. First was the stacker on second shift and she gave me such a look that I regretted telling her. Anyway, so, I got the labels folded up and set aside, got back to doing my stuff when Jason rolls in on his fork truck, disappears down an aisle, and a minute or two later starts back out again. I grabbed the stack of labels, jumped over the cart that was in my way and went darting after him. “JASON!” He stopped, turned, I held ‘em out and in our true way, had our typical, “Here ya go!” “Oh, thanks!” “Yup! No prob!” He didn’t even know they were printed. His assistant had printed them. Well, I was sick of assistant boy coming in to get them. Every time I heard the door open after labels had been printed, I’d look back all smiles and see it wasn’t Jason I’d get all disappointed. 

I didn’t see him much after that, but then again, I was also busy trying to get shit stacked cuz the rest of the warehouse was waiting on us again. So, eventually, freezer/cooler crew all got sentenced to cleaning the freezer, except for me. I had to keep stacking. So, I kept stacking and singing to myself and dancing around a bit. And I don’t remember if it was while I was working on stacking, or after the last truck had been taken out and I was doing some clean up of my own that I heard the printer start up again and sure enough, more of Jason’s labels were printed. And, being alone in the cooler, I was cool with talking to myself, so I was like, “I swear to God, if he comes in here, it’s gonna be really hard not to go, ‘Ah, the sunshine of my day!’” And no sooner had I said that, that the cooler door opened, I looked under the rack, and there were these short legs scurrying in and I just got even more dopey cuz fuck yeah! Me and him were alone in the cooler! I WAS GONNA FUCKING TALK TO HIM! So I did. He grabbed his labels and started to leave so I went, “So’s it gonna be another 16hr day for you today?” And he stopped in his tracks, turned and got this big grin and laughed, shrugged and made a show of thinking for a second and went, “Eh, maybe only about a 14 hour day, today.” 

“Hey! That works!” 

“Yeah, ya know, shave a couple hours off, it’s not so bad.” And then I couldn’t fucking believe it, but he reversed course and started walking over to where I was standing so we could joke a bit more about the long hours. So I asked him if Wednesday ended up being a 16hr day like he’d feared it was gonna be, which got another adorable thinky face before, “Actually, I think it was fifteen and a half.” Which got me laughing and shrugged and went, “Hey! It wasn’t sixteen! That’s a whole half-hour less than you thought!” And mooooooore laughter from him. God, I’m fucking addicted to his laughter and smiles! And I’m so glad it was just us in there cuz I’m not sure if he would have come over if anyone else was there. Plus, I felt so damned special, I guess, that he took even just the minute or two we spent joking about the hours together out of his day to come over to me instead of stand at the edge of the racking he’d been when I called out to him at first. It felt like a great end to my day, and it was. Except I got to see him oooooooooooooone last time before I left! 

Was heading out with a dumpster, my gear in hand and half blind cuz my glasses were fogged up. The main door rolled up, I started out with the dumpster just as he was heading in with his fork truck. He reversed course so I could head out and scoot past and our eyes met a couple times before I just smiled and went, “Have a good weekend, Jason!” And even though he had his freezer gear on so half his face was covered from his freezer mask, I saw his eyes brighten and crinkle in the corners so I knew he was smiling again and got, “Thanks! You too!” 

And it has occurred to me that, I know his name now for sure, but I don’t know as though he actually knows mine. So, Monday I’mma fix that. Not entirely sure how yet, no doubt in some way that’ll make him laugh, probably hold his stack of labels out to him and then yank them back real quick and be like, “Ya know, it dawned on me Friday that I know your name cuz I heard someone call you one day, but I’ve never actually introduced myself to you. Hi. I’m Alyssa.” Just so maybe, MAYBE, I can finally hear him say my name. I may also hang a sign above my head that says, “You’re beautiful. Will you marry me? I love you!” ...no no...maybe not that. Though, I’m horrible at this whole flirting thing, and even worse at figuring out when someone is flirting with me, so, I’m not exactly sure how to go about getting my point across of, “Hey, I think you’re attractive. I’d really like to get to know you, please?” without it crossing into the whole sexual harassment area at work. If we still had the “Share a Coke” bottles in the break room, I’d buy one that says “Jason” and leave it back on his computer with a note: To help you get through another 16hr day! But...I dunno...I don’t wanna embarrass him and I don’t wanna seem weird. Especially since I still don’t know if he’s completely unattached to anyone yet or not. God I hope he is. I really, really hope he is.

Omg at first I was like “this is an easy question of courseI have a favourite!” but now I’m like wait shit because there are so many ILOVE!!!! Blue is a favourite of mine, Silver has such a good character arc,Barry was my first rival so I have a soft spot for him, Hau is MY SON, I love Gladion(he’s a rival yeah?) and making myself angsty by thinking about how he escapedand built trust with Type: Null, and does N count as a rival because holy shithe’s like one of my absolute favourite pokemon characters EVER?!

Hmmmm I’m actually going to answer this with N because Ilove him so much. He’s really a good person at heart! He cares so much aboutPokemon especially since they were his closest and only friends and he has the ability to communicate withthem? He only really had Pokemon all throughout his rough times with hisshithead of an adoptive father and he truly believed that he was out toliberate Pokemon from being used as tools he really thought he was fighting forthe right cause?? Only for it to all come crashing down once he found out hewas being absolutely manipulated and used by Ghetsis and then Ghetsis treatshim like a freak and oh god N didn’t deserve that? And N felt like he and theB/W protag have a special connection and honestly they did like I love how theplot involved the protag with one legendary and N having the other that was sogood?? And then in the sequel N saves the B2/W2 protag and you find out he issearching for the B/W protag and he’s just *clutches heart* I love him so so somuch he’s such a good character!

Love Ball: FavouritePokemon

Weavile is my current favourite! Closely followed by Luxray,and then Hydreigon!

Weavile is just… so cool…. Its design, its KICKASS speed andphysical attack. Awesome (yes defensively weak but AWESOME) typing and ahhhhhit’s so cool!!!

Luxray and Hydreigon are also super super cool like Luxrayis so beautiful and amazing and strong like it’s an electric lion with x-rayvision that is amazing??? And Hydreigon is like, a combination of my twofavourite Pokemon types AND is a three headed dragon AND it’s a pseudo-legendaryAND it’s a strong special attacker!!!!

Premier Ball: Favouriteshiny Pokemon

I had to actually go here to know for sure, but it’s Luxray! It’s a black and gold lion that’s so cool! OnceI get the shiny charm in Sun I’m gonna Masuda method breed for one! My nextfavourite shinies are Tapu Lele (all the Tapus actually the black looks socool), Clampearl, Cresselia, Rimombee and Whimsicott!

Out of the shiny Pokemon I actually have myself though, it’seither Lilligant (I got it on the GTS in Pokemon Black and based off her allover the place stats/level/moves and the Pokeball she was caught in, I’m prettysure she’s legit) or the Sneasel line (I went looking for another shiny Sneaselbecause I transferred my first one to Sun before I tutored it moves it needed. Sonow I can have both a shiny Sneasel and a shiny Weavile!)

Timer Ball: Pokemonthat’s taken you the longest to catch

I have this horrible memory of throwing over 40 Ultra Ballsto catch a Metang in Black and White even though it was on red hp HONESTLY whoseidea was it to give the Beldum line the hardest catch rate the same catch rateas legendaries?????

Also when I replayed D/P/P, I vowed to catch Mesprit without using the Master Ball this time,which resulted in me spending so long looking for Mesprit, putting it to sleepwith my Gengar and getting its HP down, and of course that took a long timebecause as soon as Mesprit wakes up it flees and you have to look for it again.Once I finally got it into red hp I would turn my DS time to the middle of thenight so I could use dusk balls, and then I would encounter it, put it tosleep, spend a couple of turns throwing dusk balls, look for it again once thatfails and it wakes up and flees…. I did it eventually!

Luxury Ball: If Pokemonwere real, would you travel alone or with friends?

Ohhhhh at first I’m like YES with friends! but then I’mthinking what if my friends and I want different things and/or travel at adifferent pace so maybe we might be better off keeping in touch and catching upoften but maybe each accomplishing our goal individually? Plus, it’s not like I’dbe alone since I’d definitely keep a Pokemon out of its pokeball to walk withme!

Cherish Ball: BestPokemon memory

Ooooooohhh this is tricky. I can think of many occasionswhere I’d have amazing and super lucky wins against friends in battles (like thattime my Vivillon swept my best friend’s entire team that was hilarious! To befair, my Vivillon had used Quiver Dance), and so much of primary school like,years 3 to 6 was spent playing with other friends who loved Pokemon like we’dcollect and trade the cards (even when they were banned from school) and when Iwas like 9 or 10 my friends and I had a little “club” where we looked forthings to “prove” Pokemon were real, and when I was 11/12 I had a small groupof friends (actually we were a tight trio for quite a while and then morepeople joined later) where we would play out pretend Pokemon battles duringrecess and lunch. Heck even when I got to high school, it was thanks to Pokemonthat me and my now best friend became friends in the first place! (I made areference to Pokemon and she was like “…Where is that from?” and I was like “oh…Pokemon….”and she was like “WAIT you like Pokemon too?!” and that was how our firstconversation together began). Also there are the Mystery Dungeon games which Iam still so emotionally attached to because of the impact they had on me as achild and even now. Pokemon is such a key part of my childhood and my lifehonestly I love it so much bless its very existence!

Episode #6: “Can i PLEASE get a blindside.” - Jared

ok so basically the game has been sooo quiet and ive like.  felt dead. idk. i had a breakdown last night bc of it and i cried on my couch (KNOW THERE WAS A LOT MORE THAN THIS LKSDJGKLDSGLS I WOULDNT CRY PURELY BC OF THAT) but yaaa and now im better but like the entire day i was throwing up in class (or like feeling anxious im exaggerating sorry) about going home.

i didnt want mo out but with that being said i didnt want anyone out?? after i mentioned to him that stephen/mo were targeting each other, rhys came to me with the idea that like him jared chloe and i should make a chat, and i was down for that bc it would secure my positioning and like ALSGKSDG who'd flip on an alliance THIS early.. right?? right..

chloe was really not talkative with me. stephen/jared were active so i appreciate that immensely. im just thrown off. i dont really know who i can or cant trust.

Wow I like the whole tribe! Alyssa is probably my front runner of talking and honestly she's great! I am in her spell ahhhh but hey JARED is here too woo! I think at least with Mitch and Zach too I'll be safe but I'll see! This challenge could either go really well or really badly for us but I'm excited to do anything creativity!!

I absolutly love my tribe at the moment, i'm getting along well with alot of them except Kori who i haven't spoken to much at all but im confident in our abilities to win! I feel good but also scared. I dont think I'll do as good of a job as I hope, but it also is turning out decently so far. My biggest concern is time. With having work tomorrow, I can only do the editing on my lunch break of 90 minutes, then whenever i get home which probably wont be until 6, given the upload time that leaves me with about 3 hours in total. Hopefully I'll be able to work with Rhys and Jack's stuff, as i think it'll be easier for me to do it then. Regardless, I'm gonna be a zombie but LOL this is the second Wednesday in a row I stayed up late except this is not for school and instead of 3 hours, ima get 2 hours of sleep haha that is so sad and funny and heebee jeebee zoinks, alright goodnight

Two things: 1) there's really nothing quite like making a fool of yourself multiple times in a single org, just to be immune for one round. 2) i am horrible at looking for idols

So the swap has happened, and I get what is almost probably my worst case scenario player-wise. All of my close allies, with the exception of Kori, are currently on Cyrena. Meaning that winning immunity isn't even really good, since it puts them in danger.

I think there's a way to make this bad situation good though. Getting to finally work with Michael, Matt, Loris, and Drew can actually be a blessing in disguise. If I get on their good sides now, they might clue me into their plans once merge rolls around. That's the hope, anyway. For now my goal is just to survive being swapped with a bunch of people I've barely spoke to!

The past 24 hours have been major toughie for me. Staying up late and then trying to manage editing a video, work, and time constraints, and I won't lie, its been exhausting, but I didn't want to let my tribe down, or anyone down I guess. A little ways through, I kinda felt pretty defeated and then learning at last minute it was due an hour before I predicted made me panic A LOT internally, but it does seem like the tribe likes it so if we do lose and if they do vote me out, I can look back at this and feel like I did something right.

Well a lots happened and to be honest at times life and this game move too quick for me to even remember if I've mentioned it. We swapped, and I'm trying to just keep myself afloat however I can.

The challenge was overly stressful and I have no idea if we'll pull it out. Editing has been so stressful and I've found new appreciation for the people that do it. I just hope whatever I whip together will just be enough so that I can breathe and really take stalk of my new situation.

So, I haven't been around a whole bunch recently. However I'm glad we didn't go to tribal, that could've been  a reason if my name came up. So I'm glad I have time to more cement my bonds on this tribe and keep my name out of peoples mouths.

We JUST WON IMMUNITY WOOHOO. I was kind of nervous with a music challenge considering the only other one I did previously I did not do the greatest in :P. Both videos were amazing and im so glad Eve and Jones's mom liked ours significantly greater than the other one! As far as my position is concerned, I am reunited with Jared and our relationship is still strong I think so that's good. Stephen I am HOPING will be ok by just latching on to Kori at least for premerge. Those two are still the ones I trust the most, but I also like Alyssa Chris and Zach. I WISH i could connect more with jack, but i feel like every time we play together it gets more difficult to hold a conversation, so that's a yikes. Jared myself and stephen are diligently working on the idol search, but it's likely already found. I'm pretty sure there are too many components for someone to just find it by themselves

Why do I go on the initiative literally ever? I'm clearly bad at it, I wasn't even remotely thinking things through and I SHOULD have let Stephen or someone else suggest someone but no I had to be mildly greedy and wanna send home Matt whom I barely DM.

I already flopped editing the video, and now here I am flopping the social/stategy game that I love playing supposedly.

Of course I tried reaching out to Michael and Drew FOOLISHLY because I wanted to build trust and maybe work with them. So naturally Michael tells Matt because ofc they'd be close as would Drew probably since he and Michael have been together since Day 1. As it stands I'm stuck praying Loris is gonna vote with me and it just sucks because I'm so bad at this game.

I'm trying to keep a cool head right now because there's still time. Stephen and I are trying to work logistics, see if we need to switch the vote to say Michael in case of an idol, but I'm not sure Loris/Bryce would be on board for that.

There's a pretty good chance that I'm definitely dead. But I'ma fight to the bitter end!

Today I learned from Stephen that Kori is in some dangerous water. He I guess said Matt's name to Michael who told Matt and now them and Drew are voting Kori. However Bryce and Stephen and perhaps Loris are all voting Matt. Now this is good if it works because honestly that group having to endure their numbers dwindling is good for my game. It only leaves Jack and Alyssa but I think we better be careful because I can see both of them slipping through the inevitable war zone that is gonna be happening.

Today's been a pretty informative day for me. After losing the immunity challenge by a hair, I was worried because I didn't think I had bonded very well with my current tribe through One World, luckily for me, that doesn't seem to be their biggest concern at the moment.

During the initial stages of the vote, I talked to Kori and the two of us decided Matt would be the easiest target to take out. I was leaning towards voting Matt because we hadn't talked very much, so hearing Kori was on board right away simplified things for sure. Bryce and Loris both seem to be on board with it too so I shouldn't have anything to worry about at this point.

In the morning, things got a whole lot more complicated. Matt found out he was the target through Michael, and began his campaign to get Kori out instead of himself. I'm not entirely sure why Michael decided to do this, but it doesn't make much of a difference at this point. Matt campaigned to me, and I sorta pretended to be on the fence. I was listening to what he said, but Kori is realistically one of my closest allies, there's no way I'm voting him out to side with people I had just met.

Once campaign season got under way, I had a conversation with Chris. Chris tells me that on original Orfeo, him, Loris, and Zach believed there was an alliance of Chloe/Sharky/Drew/Michael formed. This explains not only why Sharky was seen as an easy boot on swap-Tuatha, but also why Michael wants to keep Matt instead of Kori. With Chloe re-joining after tribal, him/Drew/Chloe/Matt would form a tight majority. Without Matt, they're a minority.

I proposed an idea to switch the vote from Matt to Michael or Drew. I said it was because I was worried about an idol, but this alliance is the real reason I wanted to do it. However, Kori, Loris, and Bryce are comfortable with the status quo and since it's not my neck on the line I didn't feel the need to push too hard.

Me, Kori, and Bryce now also have an alliance with Loris, which is cool? I haven't gotten very close with Loris yet but he seems like a smart player tied to Chris and Zach which spells good things for us working together in the future. Assuming I survive this vote and have a future, of course.

Right now there's so many things running through my head with the introduction of Matts vote steal, because realistically i could convince him to give to me or i could keep him around as a potential shield. I don't want to do it to the guy but also a vote steal could shift the tides of the game in my favour later down the line. so it's a difficult decision and one id rather have more time to contemplate.

Wooo ok operation vote steal is a go and next round we’ll be swimming in green hopefully but with one world sis og tribe lines just ain’t it!

God im over this tribal. Like ugh these people really are under Kori's mist so like im probably going home. Do I think i might be able to survive? a small glimmer of hope says yes, but i'm not confident. God im just... so annoyed at this. Im clearly on the outs here and I just HOPE i can pull through i just am so scared. I know if i do leave though that I have fought my damn hardest to stay tonight. Im trying to think of the positives because its hard to do so because im being sad atm.. Oh my fucking god my heart is breaking. Matt is basically in such a deep hole he's going to go home, unless he plays an idol. And Alyssa has an idol. And she doesn't think it's smart to use it on him because Michael says he's just gonna go home next round. His social game hasn't been up to snuff and they're gonna boot him regardless, so she wants to keep us with power and let him go. And I agree with her. Which kills me. I'm usually able to just be a robot when it comes to this like yes I will make the smarter decision if it means I'll be emotionally torn, and this is such an instance. Luckily, it's not my idol to give up. Yes Alyssa says it's "our" idol but it's her call end of the day. I just... fuck. This is all stars man. And I'm actually starting to feel, for once.

Well it's about an hour before tribal and at least on it's surface it would seem Matt is going. I'm not confident though because any number of things COULD happen. I'm hoping there's no idol play, just because I feel like pre-merge just isn't a good look for me.

If Matt does pull something off, then kudos to him, and if it's me that'd make this my final confessional for the season. I've had such an amazing time playing and while I feel like I've been playing a lower key game on purpose I feel like I'm doing what I can to really come into my own. I hope the bonds I've made are gonna stick and that everything works out for us.

But if it doesn't I guess I'll have to find a way to be ok with that. This has been such a unique All-Stars experience so far, and I hope I can take what I've gotten from it and make myself better for it. (Also highkey hopefully this isn't my last confessional and I'm getting sentimental for no reason.)

I had a good week all in all. I wanted to avoid the St. Paddy’s nonsense in DC so I hosted my own mini weekend readathon. I was hoping for 24 in 48, but I got to 12… so it was a 12 in 48 lol.

What Sam finished this week:

King of Fools by Amanda Foody: This is the sequel to Ace of Shades and we continue to follow our kids Enne and Levi. Holy hell was this good. I was meh about the first one but I LOVED this one. Our characters get more fleshed out, the plot twists were better, and we get angsty and non-angsty romances. I loved it. Review to come soon, closer to release date.

Empire of Ivory by Naomi Novik: This is the 4th book in the Temeraire series. Talking dragons, gentleman’s honor, etc. I didn’t like this one as much as the others, but the end though. THE END. So. Good.

The Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa: I liked this much more than I thought I would. I liked the characters a lot. And the way it ended was… get this… a satisfying cliff-hanger. GASP. Linz wrote a review here.

 Well, I didn’t get much reading done during the week but I fucking crushed some books this weekend.  I mean, yeah, one was a novella and one was middle grade but I still read a lot this week (sorry Sam for making you find so many pictures….). 

Currently Reading:

Hold Me by Courtney Milan: I wasn’t lying about the romance novel kick.  This is a sequel to the one I just read by Courtney Milan, this book stars Maria who is Tina (from the first book’s) best friend who runs an apocalypse blog and absolutely loathes Jay, her brothers best friend.  She also has a long time commenter that’s she’s pretty into, one guess as to who it is… 

Under the Udala Trees by Chinelo Okparanta:  This is a book I’m reading for a book club.  Gonna be honest, I’m not very far into it, but it’s a book I’ve heard a lot about so I’m looking forward to telling you what I think. (Sidenote, goodreads is telling me I’ve already read it… Welp, guess who is still gonna have to skim it)

 Completed this week:

  The List by Patricia Forde:This was a pretty solid read, very reminiscent of the Giver, it’s a middle grade book (I assume) so I could give some of the more obvious twists and turns. Letta was a good character in that she grows to think for herself and fights for what she thinks is right.  For more info, Parker wrote a review.  (see it here) 3.5/5

An Artificial Night by Seanan McGuire: OMG I love Seanan McGuire’s books so much.  I know I’ve said that I’m not huge into Urban Fantasy, and that’s still true (I feel things tend to need to be life or death at all times and that can be a bit frustrating) but this book was by far the best in the series so far.  Toby Daye goes to fight the proverbial boogeyman.  This is a book that could have ended in three different places if Toby wasn’t so damn noble, but nope, if she’s working a job she’s going to see it through.  My favorite characters made a return; Tybalt, the king of cats, Quentin, the quasi-awkward teenager who follows Toby around.  And holy crap do I have some new favorites too! 5/5

Once Ghosted Twice Shy by Alyssa Cole: Believe it or not, my biggest complaint is that I needed this to be longer.  Likotsi (from the first book in this series) has a novella of her own that explains her attitude in the first book.  I adore the way that Alyssa Cole fleshes out this universe she has created.  There are things going on in the background and it feels like she has thought out everything. Likotsi and Fab had a whirlwind romance set during A Prince In Theory, which is abruptly cut off for reasons.  This picks up 7 months later when they have a chance meeting and can’t fight their own magnetism.  4/5 but only because it was too short.

The Lost Plot by Genevieve Cogman: Ugh, I’m digging this series so much.  I’m hoping I can knock out a post on this one so I don’t want to give too much away.

I actually tried to read another book by her recently and I think her books just might not be for me–there’s a LOT of telling, not showing, and I’m having a hard time with the world building. I strongly suspect I won’t finish it, especially when I want to knock out King of Fools

Looker by Laura Sims: I REALLY want to finish King of Fools, but it’s got some formatting issues (it’s an ARC), so it’s hard to read when I’m working out, so I started this ebook today. I liked the premise–a woman set adrift by her inability to conceive (and subsequent divorce) becomes increasingly obsessed with a celebrity neighbor and her family–so I hopped on the waitlist immediately when it came out earlier this year. I GUARANTEE someone will try to tell me this is the 2019 Gone Girl; I don’t hate it, but I’m like 40% of the way in and wondering when the real action is gonna start.
