for the past 24 hours I’ve been listening to fletcher’s you ruined new york city for me, the s(ex) tapes, and girl of my dreams and crying about the sapphic heartbreak in my twenties that I’ve never even had like holy hell how does the woman write like that

Friend. I come to your Tumblr from AO3 after reading the first two chapter of “I've Been Taught Not to be Afraid (Look at the Price I've Paid)”. I have thoughts on how amazing it was but that's for the comment section over there. I’m just here to say going from being giddy checking over here to see how you’ve been doing but then, BAM! Reading your pinned post with //Abandoned// for it was a special kind of heartbreak I haven’t experience since my fiance of 2 years left me and got married to someone else in a month.

So now I am here to twist the knife deeper so to speak and ask, does abandoned means what I think it is (a.k.a ur not going to upload it anymore at 7/9), or do you still plan to upload the 8 chapters like you said on the author's note😭😭😭

P.s I’m exaggerating about the heartbreak part, it is what it is!!! Thank you for sharing such a story though!!!! I had so much fun reading it😂🥺🫶🏼

1. Thank you so much!!! I’m really glad this story is something you enjoy so much.

2. The last chapter (8) and the outline I originally planned (9) are both going to be posted!…eventually. 8 is actually all written and 9 just has to be typed up from my notes but 8 ends in a cliff hanger which I’m trying not to do on my abandoned works any more so I have to edit it to make it somehow a little gentler. That being said, I’m crazy busy rn: work, grad school applications, my seminar thesis, other fanfics I’m trying to find time for (…and maybe an original story I’m playing around with) mean I don’t have as much time to write as I’d like.

3. Tbh…I haven’t been on ao3 in like a month 😭. I haven’t been reading anything but articles on contemporary vampires and bad YA novels which is why I’ve kinda ghosted everything. I am still planning to get back to it!! I just need to find the time.
